Marie is a charming and very intelligent professor. I could have sat through two of her lectures and not gotten bored. You could pass this class without every opening the text or reviewing notes if you attend every lecture. I wish that she would have made the course a little more challenging, asked more essay questions, required text reading, etc.

Uses every second of class time, but makes lectures interesting so you won't mind. Uses overheads for material and gives time to write notes. I just read over my notes several times before exams and always scored well. One short (2 page) paper required. Take her: You'll be entertained, get a good grade, and learn a lot!

Great professor. Took her for 211 and 260 and I wish I could take more classes with her. She gives you all the information you need for tests, is clear about what is required of you but also makes it fun. Essay writing is a bit sucky but it prepares you for 4-year colleges so this is, overall, a good thing. Very helpful in office hours & in class.

Best professor I've ever had! She gives interesting lectures every day and all you have to do is take notes. No homework! The exams are multiple-choice and easy if you attend class. She's also really nice and animated.

I also took her for 101&260. St George is by far my favorite teacher. My only complaint is that she only teaches 3 classes. I would take all my Psych classes with her if I could. I learn more in her classes than any other. Tests are easy b/c she gives you the questions ahead of time. You would have to try very hard not to learn and get an A.

Easy doesn't equal good. One can make an A w/out learning anything. Test are straight regurgitation. Test questions are long answer, NOT essay as the student is not required to compare, contrast or explain anything. Tests are not good prep for any college worth mentioning. If you have interest in 4-year college prep, take someone else.

Wow, what a wonderful Prof. She is laid back, funny, cute, helpful, sweet, and organized. Perfect. Her class lectures are all one needs to know to pass exams (I never bought the book), and she gives everyone a complete study guide for the tests, which makes studying simple. Taking her class made me decide to pursure a psyhology degree.

I love Marie!!! Some people didn't buy the book. I took her for 260 as well. We had four exams, none of them were collective. Half multiple choice half short essay questions. She gives study guides. Her class is very interesting and her teaching style is awesome! She also very helpful in every way.

Took the online class. Professor St. George was very responsive to my questions. The class is self paced with only one deadline at the end of the semester, but I had to wait 1.5 months for the final essay to be graded. I used the book and was glad I did as some of the questions were not in the power points. Fun class, wish I could take it in person

I really enjoyed her class, She was very enthusiastic even in her morning class. You can tell she really enjoys what she does and it shows. She does have power points for you to study for the tests every chapter but don't be fooled and think you can just study the slides. There were many times when I just studied the slides and there were questions from the textbook. The tests are timed so it made it difficult to look back and check your answers. Read read read!

LOVED HER! One of my all-time favorite professors! She is very down to earth and has a quirky sense of humor. I hardly studied for her exams because her lectures were so fun and impressionable. I actually looked forward to her class and was bummed when I couldn't make it. Her tests are based off lecture opposed to the book so attendance is mando.

I took Professor St. George's class on my first year and first semester in college and she is beyond funny yet informative. She bases most of her tests on her lectures. It's not that hard if you take good notes and you constantly study them. She even tells you exactly what to look at for the test. She's the best and I hope to take more classes.

I had already taken her 101 class and I decided to see what other classes she taught since I loved her style of teaching. So this class was actually awesome. Take REALLY GOOD notes. Awesome prof! She basically lays out the course within the first few fays for us, then lets us take the entire class at our own pace. One quiz per chapter in the book, and extra credit opportunities for each as well. One 400 word writing assignment based off two videos at the end of the course. Very easy altogether. Super laid back, really sweet!

If you need this class and do not need more stress in your life take this class! Her syllabus is very clear. All that she asks is for you to do quizzes each week of the semester! And if you want extra credit for tests just do the discussion boards which is watching a short clip and sharing your thoughts about it !

4 week summer class. 15 chapters: Read and take a test for each. One Final Exam and easy final writing assignment. Extra Credit discussion posts per chapter worth 4 points each. Make sure you don't fall behind if taking the 4 week class. You have to do at least 4 chapters a week to finish the class on time, but it's worth it to have a short class.

Her lectures are amazing and funny! Her exams are based fully on her lectures and simple PowerPoint presentations. She will help the class review before the test. She makes lectures very interesting by changing it up with videos, meditation, and just hilarious jokes. You can tell she loves what she teaches.

By far the easiest online class I've taken. There's a test over a different chapter every week but it's pretty self explanatory so I didn't need my textbook. She also gives you a chance for extra credit every week and it's SUPER easy. I could've easily finished this class within one month. I would definitely take her again for whatever class!!

She is a little silly, but fun to listen to. Being in class is very important because lectures are given during each class. We rarely opened the book which used cost 166.00.

I really liked this class. It was an honors core class, however, the only thing that matters is that she KNOW that you learned something. I would recommend her to students that want to start their honors process. No tests, only papers, and in the end you have a final presentation of your choice. I am going to miss this class. SHE WAS amazing.

I took her class online and her power points are really straight to the point. She does offer extra credit that is to watch the videos given in blackboard and expects you to respond what you learn. She is fast at responding messages, if you want to take a class that is at your own pase, I would totally recommend her to take online.

She has made it very easy to excel, all you have to do is show up and take note of everything(EVERYTHING!) and STUDY. A few exams, 1 research paper, and voila! Semester done and dusted. This class was pretty much a self paced class. There is a LOT of reading between the textbook and power-point slides. No re-takes on exams. Plenty of extra credit opportunities. One paper at the end of course that is straight forward. If you can manage yourself independently and like that, then this class is for you!

Hands Down, one of the best Psychology professors I have ever taken. Her lecture are amazing, In addition she breaks down the material so much easier than the textbook. Note taking is key for success in her classes. Took her for Psyc 260, 283 and she was awesome.

I took this class online due to the pandemic and was just a little bored. She pre records all of her lectures, you take notes, write in the discussion board once a week and then take tests. The professor does make the lectures interesting and if you take good notes you will do well but I would've enjoyed a little more variety in the assignments.

If I could I would also choose to tag this professor as Hilarious and Lecture Heavy, now when I say lecture heavy it means she doesn't require you to read a text book (or even need one) So this is primarily focused on her lectures, the exams are based upon your note taking/studying which isn't that difficult since her lectures are amazing!

Amazing class, would take again, 4 tests the whole semester but should be easy to pass if you did the work. It's very lecture based but everything is explained very well and in depth. There was a textbook required but you can pass the class without having done the reading, obviously it's better to have done it though.

the lectures were pretty interesting and she has a funny personality, so i really enjoyed them. exams are really short timed but relate exactly to the lectures so just take good notes and you'll pass. weekly discussion posts get pretty tedious but don't require much thought at all. overall really enjoyed the class, easy A

My favorite professor! I am so sad that this class was online because I would have loved to taken it in person. Dr. St. George was so knowledgable and presented the information in a very easy way to learn. Posted lecture videos weekly and had discussion boards weekly. This was my favorite class because the information was so interesting as well.

Loved taking this class! Favorite Professor! there are 4 exams in total I believe, majority of the questions are from the lectures videos, if you watch all the lectures and take good notes you will pass, discussion post every week, and multiple lecture videos every week that can range from 20 min to 60 min each video.

I LOVE THIS PROFESSOR! She's not boring, gives awesome examples, and is genuine. You can tell she enjoys her role as a teacher. The exams/assignments were straightforward, also no final exam! Make sure to take notes of everything in her lecture videos because it will be on the exam. Discussions were easy grades and fun to learn about others.

8-week online asynchronous summer course: It is a lot of lectures, but she keeps it interesting. She enjoys the material and wants to inspire her students. Easy tests(timed), watch the videos and use her fill in the blank slides to copy the slides down. Weekly discussions. Easy gen ed. I got an A just by paying attention and taking notes.

Weekly discussions where you talk about two things you learned. Two labs, if you did something wrong she'll give you chances to fix, and resubmit for a higher grade. Exams were mc and essays that you needed to really know the content in order to answer questions. Class overall was a lot of work but it convinced me to adopt healthier habits ngl.

Great professor. Since the class was all online, I never met her, but she made the everything clear in the syllabus. The tests were direct, open book/notes, but challenging, timed, and fast-paced (50 multiple choice questions in 50 minutes). I would definitely take her again. She made the video lectures interesting, clarifying, and funny. Study.

Marie St. George was an amazing psych professor! I took her for both an online PSYC 101 class and a PSYC 283 in person class and she had excellent lectures in both classes! Majority of your grade is from the exams, which there were four of, and there are labs that you have to attend if you want the A. Excellent class, I really learned a lot!

Took the 16 wk course. Probably one of the easiest and most interesting classes I've ever taken. Every week you get to watch a lecture she makes herself- ranging anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. One discussion post and one reply. 4 quizzes the entire semester. Take her!!

Professor did a great job of making the subject matter both relatable and interesting. Her lectures were well put together and easy to follow. As long as you watch the all of the videos and pay attention - you will do well in this class.

Professor St. George makes the material engaging and accessible. The online format works well, but could use more interactive elements. Unstuckstudy and the textbook are great study aids. Overall, a rewarding yet manageable class.

St George is such an amazing professor. Her lectures are great and always hits every detail you need to know for the exams. Also prepares you really well for them. Also has a great sense of humor and energy. Extremely caring and understanding. One of the best truly! If you have the chance, take her class! Need more professors like her!

She is an amazing professor and her lectures are so interesting and informative. You're only graded by discussion posts and tests. The course is really easy if you watch the lectures and take notes.

She is great at what she does and is very informative and clear when teaching. She is also funny and sweet and makes studying easy and fun with jeapordys.

Professor St. George is extremely knowledgeable. She cares about her students and wants us to pass the tests. She literally gives you the answers before hand. It's just up to you to study and actually want to pass. Your grade. Basically depends on the test and she's literally giving it to you.

This professors class was great! The class was very straightforward and well structured. We were given lecture videos at the beginning of the week, and one discussion post to respond to for our assignments. Great class to take if you have a busy schedule. Exams were around every 4 weeks, and EVERYTHING on the exam is mentioned in the lectures 10/10

She's really kind, and you can tell she's passionate about teaching. From that comes a feeling that—even through a computer screen—she cares about you. It's a really good intro class to psych because you cover so much, but it's so approachable that it barely feels like a struggle.

Loved her! Very straight forward class, loved her teaching style and felt like I learned a lot from her. Do the work every week and study for the exams and you will get an A in her class.
