very fun class! good teacher. uses powerpoint for notes every day. if you miss a class, just look over the vocabulary words and you will be okay.

I took Dr. Norman for ethics. I really enjoyed his class. He's very funny and interested in the subject taught. I must admit that so far this was the only Psyc class that I absolutly loved and will miss. I enjoyed the class a great deal and understood and learned everything that was taught.

Pretty good teacher, sometimes you can forget what the story he's telling has to do with the material. But overall he's a great teacher just make sure you study his notes and the book as well

Very good professor, one of my most interesting classes at Clayton State. Use the reviews in the book for the quizzes! I never made below a B on a test even without studying. He's funny! As somebody else said, he's easy on the eyes and over the class is super enjoyable.

he's one of the best teachers i've ever had. very enjoyable and helpful classes. don't need to use a text book much, cause he explains everything perfectly. the quizes and exams aren't very easy, but most of the questions are from the book and study guide.

Very cool guy! Instead of just teaching a psychology class he makes it interesting and fun. He doesn't dwell on all the boring stuff. He gets it out of the way and gets on to the interesting things. His class was my funnest class ever. I rarely studied and aced the class because the things he taught were so intersting that they stuck with me.

WOW! This class was really fun to go to. Dr. Norman has a lot of experience in the field he is teaching so that is a big plus. The class itself is pretty easy just go over everything in the book plus those little tests and quizzes and you will do fine. I say take his class immediately you will not regret it!

Dr.Norman is not your average professor.He's easy to talk to, is always ready and willing to help where possible.He associates his lectures with different scenarios which are very helpful when it comes to remembering info for tests. Great professor!!! he uses real stories/examples and makes it really easy to learn the material. lots of in class discussions that are great.. easy class. i never even got bought the book and i still got a "B". Attendance isnt mandatory, but he seems to be a little more lenient with grading if u attend class regularly..... Super sexy professor.

I took Dr. Norman for Intro to Psych as well as Psychology of Adjustment. He is one of my favorite teachers, ever. He does a great job of explaining and giving examples. He teaches from slides, and it is not necessary to buy the book. I would DEFINITELY recommend taking his class.

I LOVE MR NORMAN. He is so funny in class and really enjoys teaching. He truly wants every student in his class to succeed. Dr. Norman is an awesome teacher. He uses stories to elaborate the subject major. So you'll hear Johnny a lot. He is passionate about his students and psychology. He made me realize how much I love psychology. He is strict with attendance and his slides are very helpful. Pay attention and attend SI sessions and you will pass!

By far my favorite teacher at csu!! I didn't like subject, but he made it interesting with his funny stories. He's a character every day there will be laughs. His quizzes are easy, half of it are same questions from practice quizzes online. Tests based on powerpoint and lecture.

If you are serious about your education and psychology, his class will be a breeze. If you're only at college because your mom made you come, then you might not do so well. The study questions online are exactly the questions on the quiz. Sit close to the front and make sure he knows your name & you're guaranteed an A. His lectures are super!!

I think this might have been his first year teaching CSU1022 and it is probably one of the easiest class. During the whole semester, we only took 2 tests, one during the middle of the semester, and one as the final exam. The tests have the exact same questions as the study guide he gives you.

Professor Norman is one of the best, laid back, understanding professors at Clayton State period! He's very understanding, respectful, and he really helps you figure out your next step. He's the best ever!

I don't think he teaches PYSCH 1101 anymore but this professor is a real gem. I believe he's teaching marketing classes which doesn't matter. TAKE HIM. You will not be disappointed! Not to mention he's very easy on the eyes. He also remembers his students. I run into him from time to time on campus and he acknowledges me!! You will need the book

Professor Norman is a great teacher. He provides study guide(s) and is really specific in what is expected in the test (s). If you aim for an A then reading the textbook and hearing his lecture would help.

Prof. Norman is very good at providing examples for you to relate to. Tests are online and he will drop your lowest grade at end of term. There is no homework; only tests and finals. Requires a bit of reading and book can be found online.

There wasn't much homework to do besides reading and quizzes. The tests are pretty easy since they are similar to the quizzes. You need to use Lockdown Browser for the tests.

Took him online. Class was pretty easy. We did have to use the lockdown browser for the test. He didn't really "teach" us, more so we read the notes and listened to lectures he recorded and took our test. He responds to emails pretty quickly. Some weeks it did take him quite a while to grade our assignments. Overall, I would take him again.

I really enjoyed the courses I have taken with Dr. Norman.

I've taken multiple marketing classes with Dr. Norman, all online, and he's great. His grading criteria are clear, and assignments are simple. They're due at the end of the week and he gives good grades as long as there's some effort in answering. You teach yourself mostly, but he provides PowerPoints. Exams are multiple choice and on lockdown.
