Great instructor! Passionate about the subject and explains it very well. He is very clear on what to expect for the exams and only assigns the reading. with the exception of the Zoo project which is fun.

DONT THINK BECAUSE HE IS YOUNG HE IS EASY;HOWEVER, HE IS A GOOD TEACHER AND HE LOVES WHAT HE DOES. TAKE HIS CLASS YOU'LL ENJOY WHAT YOU READ. ALOT OF READING!!!!!!

Open book exams make it really easy... He is very smart and expresses himself that way... Quizes almost daily...

He was the best teacher I had so far at this college! It is fun to be in his class! Open textbook exams make the subject easier. BUT there is a quiz on every chapter. Lots of extra credit possible.

Mr. Robertson is incredibly knowledgable in the subject matter. He is very willing to spend extra time to help.... plus he's SO HOT!!

Mr Robertson has a great passion for what he does and hearing talk about anthropology made me fall in love with it . He is so sweet and approachable that even if you do find yourself confused you are not afraid to ask. He wants everyone to participate or else he gets frusterated. Not only is he smart but humble and gorgeous as well. i love his eyes

Yey! I think all the little projects we got to do helped made the class fun and realy interesting. Professor Robbertson is easy to approach if you have questions about the assignment and I think he's pretty cute too. I recommend this class to anyone.

Professor Robertson is awesome! Very knowledgeble about the subject, and really passionate about getting the whole class into it too. Class was really good! Mr. Robertson is hot too.

professor robertson is probably one of the best professors i've had at sac (and the hottest if i may add). be sure to attend regularly and the class is pretty easy if you pay attention.. which you will. the way he lectures is always entertaining and easy to listen to.. so you'll never fall asleep or be bored in his class. take him!

Mr. Robertson is very passionate about what he teaches and is great at it. He has probably been the best teacher I have had at SAC. I hated this subject prior to taking it and thanks to him I now enjoy it. If you do your part you should do well in the class. He is not easy but you will learn the material! He is also eye candy! = )

Really good Proffesor, very intersing. Loves what he does,and is always willing to help you. Make sure you take notes on anything he writes on the board and do the homework.

Professor Robertson was the most kind, patient and handsome professor I have ever had...I gained more interest in the course eachday because his lectures weren't boring..not to mention how seewt lookin he is...I can watch him all day long!!! YOU GO MARIO!!!

Professor Robertson is a fun and interesting instructor. He is nice to look at and has a funny sense of humor. He is NOT easy with his tests. The 1 unit lab was a lot of work.

Great teacher! fun, thorough, detailed. Goes thru material quickly. LAB is only labs, not hw, only one paper at the end of semester, easy, fill in some info and write down some bs, he wont read it!! Pretty fun class and teacher.

Totally a great teacher even though I am not very interested in the subject he made it relevant. He does go through the material quickly, but you should have already learned most of it in lecture. Just ask questions on what you don't know....he will help you out. Plus he is easy on the eyes.

Good professor, quizzes he gives are easy he lets you know. Also he does not give a study guide for his tests but just read the chapters and you'll be fine.

Not an extremely difficult class. His teaching method is mostly lecture supplemented by readings in the text book.Has weekly quizzes that are not difficult at all. Most test questions (for exams, midterm, and final) taken directly from the study ones at the end of the chapter. Highly recommended class.

this teacher is by far one of my favorite professor's. i took his cultural anthropolgy class, and i got so interested and the way he teaches, made me change my major to anthropology. his quizzes are easy from the reading before. and his tests are open book so make sure you have your book. very helpful as well. take him!

He's a great teacher! I love his class. I never find my interest in anthropology. However, he has such a great passion for teaching that makes me actually love the class. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! He's my favorite teacher! He has such a great personality.He'll be the 1st professor that I'd look forward to have if I've to take another anthro course!

Excellent instructor. If you are really serious about anthro, he is a wonderful mentor and coach to help you plan your college and career path. I woke up every day excited to get to class. Take anything he teaches and you ill love it. Garanteed!

Professor Robertson makes anthropology fun. He makes lectures interesting. He is pretty cool. Test are pretty easy since its open book. But you have to read. Defenitaly take him.

Took lab with him for phys ant as well. Very interesting and passionate guy. He is very helpful and gave me an interest in the subject. You must read in order to pass quizzes but the open book for exams was extremely helpful. Very hands-on and lots of opportunities to work together. Summer course was more intense but I got a B.

Professor Robertson is a great instructor. I enjoyed his method of teaching and if you have any problems, he will work with you as long as you keep communication lines opened with him. One of my favs!

A lot of quizzes and reading but he delivers his lectures with a level of energy that will keep you interested. Overall good experience.

fun but hard proof

Wasn't expecting much but he really made the class awesome. Wish I had taken him before my last semester so I could have taken more classes with him. If you are looking for a challenging and enlightening class he will provide it.

Religion, Magic and Witchcraft was an awesome class. It has a mid term paper and final paper rather than a test which is great! I would take every class Prof. Robertson offers if I could. This class was a blast! Only bummer is it's only taught in spring.

GREAT TEACHER! VERY RECOMMENDED! especially if you are interested in this field. he's funny and really nice i really enjoy his class!

He is such a great professor that he convinced me that I should major in anthropology! His classes are great and makes you look forward to going to class. And make sure you read the text and take notes!!!!

such an inspiration professor, really made me open my eyes to a lot of things. You always walk out of class learning something new. Highly recommend. Just be ready to read, and takes chapter quizzes. Tests are open book, always.

Not an easy A. There's a lot to take in, but he clearly loves the subject and makes it fun and interesting. Read the chapters (you have to, to do well on quizzes), show up, take good notes, and you should do well. Tests are open-book, but don't assume you can breeze through it. Put some effort into it, and it's all good.

Passed his lab class. He is very clear with his lectures and helpful. I took the lecture class with someone else 10 years ago! So for me to pass with a B, go to show you how well his lectures are. I enjoyed this class and learned a lot.

Great classprofessor. Loved it! No homework. Only a fun zoo project and 4 exams. Attendance is mandatory (10 points per lab for showing up). Exams are super easy, he gives you all the material you need to be successful and if you pay attention in lab and spend an hour studying I dont know how you don't get an A on them. No book for lab, saves $$$!

I loved this professor. Who ever posted the same review twice below has no idea and clearly doesn't get it. He was really great, answered all of my question, and even more. Don't let that bad review stop you from taking his class Mr R is a great teacher. One of the best I had at SAC just ask any of his students and thumbs up to his lab assistant

Great professor! This was an easy class for me, all you have to do is read the assigned chapters to be able to pass the quizzes. The lab was super fun and his assistant was the best! She was a big help! They are both there to answer any questions. I recommend taking his class.

Robertson is a great professor, he has great stories behind every lecture and he basically makes the class entertaining! He's pretty cute but dont let that distract you from your work, girls! All in all, he makes class possible to pass just do the few homework assignments, read the one chapter he assigns each weekend, and take good notes:)

Huge amounts of things to memorize and study for but he is very much there for you when needed. No books or homework. 4 Exams, 1 Zoo Project/Paper, Lab(attendance) points. Exams are arranged so that you cannot fake your way though it. So you must put the hours into studying as he requires very particular terms to be used or you will fail. Great Guy

Professor Robertson was an awesome professor. His lectures are very clear and he always finds a way to make them fun. I also took lab with him and passed with a B for both classes. You do have to read, study and work hard but it was really great to learn as much as I did. I highly recommend taking him.

Robertson is awesome I had him for lecture and lab. Very knowledgeable and respected, very funny too. He really does care about his students and their future in life. He's very laid back and easy going. Tests are pretty tough but definitely manageable. Read every chapter for the tests and quizzes. Do all homework assignments and do extra credit!

There's a quiz every week, easy 5 points. If you read or even just skim main points, you'll get the answers right. The book is open book, but nothing he lectures is on there. Just read. He has 3 papers & as long as they're the pgs required, you get full credit. I stop believing his stories halfway through the semester &was on my phone the whole tim

Mr. R was an amazing teacher, he is detailed, answered all my questions (I had tons) and was very engaged and gave great personal examples tied to the concepts. He made this One of the most interesting classes I've ever taken. Write down what he is saying during lecture, tests were open book, 3 assignments, quizzes every class, tons of extra credit

Okay I got a C in this class but that was my fault (i didn't read for the quizzes so make sure you read!) but nevertheless this class was awesome and enjoyable! I learned so much and it was really interesting. Assignments are easy and you can use your book & notes on exams. Pay attention in class, you don't want to miss out on his amazing lectures!

Hands down to one of the best professors. He goes straight to the point, very informative lectures/labs. you HAVE to show up to class to be able to pass it. You will be graded on attendance and exams only. His exams are very tough so make sure you study.

He knows how to make the class easy and simple. If I could take his class again I definitely would. I really recommend him. He is awesome.

I took mario for intercession and it was enjoyable. Those who are complaining about a C did not study, read the material, or show up to class-all of which are necessary to pass this class. Quiz every class meeting, 3 exams, lots of extra credit. NOT a piece of cake class, but just do what you're supposed to and study! Got an A in 4wks.

mandatory attendance, quiz before each chapter with the last 2 quizzes as E.C, offers E.C opportunities; READ, READ, READ; open notes exams and only has 3 writing assignments. really enjoyable class to be in but definitely not an easy a.

Get ready to memorize every lab. This was NOT an easy class, but it was very enjoyable. Mario is a great professor, that loves what he does. You have to show up to class because that is an easy 10 points per lab. There is a zoo project, which to my surprise was very enjoyable.

AT the beginning of the week you receive a short quiz based on the chapter you were supposed to read. These are only worth a few point but they add up. Homework is usually to read but sometimes short 1-2 page papers are assigned. Lectures are very important as he literally hints to what he will be asking about on short response questions.

Such an awesome and down to earth professor, he is very clear and straight forward with all of his students and gives you every chance to pass his class.

Attendance is mandatory because it is worth 10 points every time you show up. It was pretty hectic remembering every lab especially the memorization of every bone in the human body. Although, he is clear about what kind of questions he is going to ask on the exams. He really makes you work for your grade. Luckily I passed with an A.

Professor Robertson is a hard professor. I took him over summer and we had quizzes every day. Even thought this is a hard class he is an amazing professor. Hes lectures are interesting and he is hilarious. The subject is hard but he makes it fun. The Lab is pretty easy too. Many quizzes, one trip to the zoo, and 1 project with a presentation.

Professor Mario is amazing, his lectures are entertaining with his stories. Quizzes are relatively easy if you read. Tests are open book and open note, that doesn't mean you can slack off because tests are pretty difficult. Pay attention, take good notes, do all the extra credit and you'll do great!

Professor Robertson is the man, his stories are funny and applicable to the class and he can go and on but they are great. The exams are open book, open notes and open brain. Take good notes and he'll usually repeat a certain topic multiple times and that's when you highlight that topic, more than likely it'll be an essay question for the exam.

This is absolutely my favorite class ive ever taken! He keeps everyone engaged with his crazy stories. Tests are open book/note and he gives you all the information you need for them. No homework besides reading. Pop quizzes every week. 1 or two papers. If you need help he has every resource you need to pass. Perfect balance of fun and learning.

He is one of the professors that really understands the situation that we are all in so he tries his best to make sure everyone is okay in his class! His class is not hard at all! Take his class!

He's such a cool guy I would have loved to take his class in person. He's a chill dude just make sure to study for the tests and take the quizzes and you'll do just fine :)

He's a really nice and caring professor especially with online. He's willing to help you even late at night if you need help with a lesson or don't understand something. I took him for lab 101L for anthro and it was just as good over the summer.

He's the nicest professor you'll ever encounter, even if you forget to do a discussion by a day or two later he won't care. The material is good and explains it really well. He give you chances to do extra credit which really helps your grade boost up, overall i would take the class again.

Although it was online, This was a great class! Its hard at first but youll get used to it later on. He explains the material well. Attendance is mandatory because if missed it will become much harder to learn when doing the assignment/exams. He will tell good stories and make jokes. Is really a caring professor and wants us to pass the class.

He made the course exciting, and his assignments were manageable. Please read the book and take notes on his lectures. The people complaining about their low grades did not put effort at all. There are extra credit opportunities!

He was an amazing professor to have during the semester. He provided the class with all the information that would be needed to pass labs and tests through the semester. We had 15 labs and 4 test in the 16 week course, the zoo project was also very fun and easy to do. I would highly recommend taking him, amazing professor from the start to end.

Prof. Robertson is an amazing professor. At first, I thought I was going to hate the class but I ended up really enjoying it. He explains everything very well. He's very willing to help us if we have any questions. It shows that he really cares about the success of his students. Study well and memorize the criteria and this class will be a breeze.

It was a lot of work because it was a four week accelerated class. BUT, all the material is straightforward and he provides clear instructions for each module. His lectures are very helpful when completing the mini chapter exams and also for the finals. Would have loved to take him in person!!

TAKE THIS ONLINE LAB! The material is easy to understand and the labs each week are not graded but you should 100% pay attention to them since they reflect the exams almost entirely. Weekly extra credit. The final exam was lot of material that was pretty hard but if you actually tried throughout the semester you will 100% be fine to not do as good

He is a fantastic professor. He provides you with lectures that connect with the reading. It is an easy class since it has quizzes and a few easy assignments. You will pass as long as you do the reading and try your best!

Good professor but the online class kind of drags in my opinion, I think this class would be better to take in person however it was convenient due to my work schedule to take it online.

Professor Robertson was extremely supportive and made himself accessible throughout this course. Some of the material was challenging, but the information is all there and you can use your notes for labs and exams. Extra credit is offered through discussions and they add up, so if you get the option - participate! I would take his classes again.
