Dr.Mason was the best professor that I have had at Bloomsburg. Not only is she helpful to all of her students, but she cares about them personally as well. She does not try to trick you and gives you what you need to know for each test. She keeps you interested the entire class! She was great!

dr. mason is one of the few profs that i have had yet who seems to teach for all the right reasons. she is a wonderful professor who cares about her students and will help out in any way she can. this is her last semester teaching lifespan but i would recommend her for any other course she offers.

Couldnt have asked for a better psych class. Test about every other week but it was nice because it was less things to remember for each test! Just dont buy the book...really not needed.

Its great how she explains everything a few different ways so you are able to see the whole picture. She also relates stories to what she is teaching.

Awesome, even thought there are 200 students in the class. This professor is a wild, crazy, strange little lady. Really easy to get extra credit and the tests aren't so bad niether. If there is one thing that you do, BUY THE BOOK! The "clicker" inside is the key to your grade. She loves football as well. A great time.

Definitely take Dr. Mason! Gives tons of extra credit, enough to make up a whole exam grade. She posts exam grades on Blackboard a few hours after the exam so you know right away what you got. Makes class interesting.

She is nice and tries to make class fun. you use a clicker to take addendance... even though its not manditory you get 1 bonus point per day you go which is helpful cause tests are kind of hard.

I had Dr. Mason for cognitive. Considering the level of difficulty, the class was fun. She presented the material in a way that was interesting and approachable. She is one of the best proffessors I've ever had. I'd reccommend her to anyone serious about working for your grade.

This lady is my absolute favorite prof. by far. She makes everything chrystal clear in her notes. We only use an online book, and she tells you EXACTLY what to study, so you only need to look at that and your notes from class. I have 114% in the class from extra credit. Absolutely AMAZING teacher! Such a fun class and lady. Learn so much!!!

Mason is a wonderful teacher. i would recommend her for any psy class! gives tons of extra credit and pretty easy tests! as long as u read over the notes a couple times you'll be fine. shes really entertaining and i will definally take her again in the future! :)

This crazy little lady makes psych fun and interesting. Her funny stories help you to remember the information. She is clear and constant in her teaching. Thank God for profesors like her.. I think some of these professors should take teaching lessons off her. Because they cant teach for ****. Love her

great class and teacher, shes always happy and enthusiastic, shes also easy to talk to and understand. she takes attendance and everyday you come you get 1 point and by the end of the year you have the equivalence of one test grade accumulated as extra credit. tests arent too hard and class is enjoyable.

She is one of the best teacher's I've ever had. The class is very easy, and you get extra credit for coming to class. Right now I have an A+ and my roommate has an A+ too. If you study a little bit for the test it a gaurantee you'll get an A.

DO THE EXTRA CREDIT! There is no reason to not get an A. You don't NEED to go to class as long as you can get the notes from someone. And she tells you exactly what to read in the book. But for those of you who are looking for more than just an easy A, I assure you she knows what she is talking about and makes the class very interesting! Take her!

This is one easy professor! I went to class once a week! If that! Gives a lot of extra credit. You can do the homework as many times until you get 100! Test are tricky. Mainly scenarios. Final was cake! You can fail every test and still pass! TAKE HER!

Easy class, but a lot of studying. The extra credit is the homework so get all A's on your homework. If its taking long to find a homework question then google it or type a key term in the online book search box. The test are not bad if you read the chapters to understand the main points she went over in class. e-z A or B if you put in the time

She is a great Professor! She is very helpful if you go to her office hours. Not really any extra credit opportunities, but you can retake the homeworks until you get 100%. The text book is really only used for homeworks and she gives you a study guide for tests!

Dr. Mason is the best professor at Bloomsburg that I've had. Not because she gives a lot of extra credit but her ability to make a difficult subject understandable for people who don't speak psychology is incredible. You need to go beyond memorizing definitions for her exams but if you attend class she gives great examples that studying is easy.

Mason is a straightforward prof, every test comes RIGHT from the study guides, but they are a little tricky. Never had to go to class and got an A.

Though it is a lecture hall, she still keeps it interesting. She is a very sweet little woman who enjoys teaching. She gives you in class chapter notes matched with online homework which you use to study for her 30 point multiple choice exams. The homework is very tedious and long but not difficult. Do the work and you'll pass easily.

She always gives college advice at the beginning of class and it made me think about my life. This class is pretty boring but it is so easy. I would study the day before the test for maybe 2 or 3 hours and get an A. It is a grade booster class.

Dr. Mason is really funny and keeps General Psych upbeat and interesting. There is a lot of information covered, but she relates it to all students, and knows most aren't Psych majors. College advice is really cool, esp. for new freshmen. There is extra credit and TA office hours to explain anything! Online textbook is a must for assignments.

Dr. Mason was one of the sweetest professors! She always begins with college advice, and engages in talking with students before class too. Lectures based off a PowerPoint, not much to write, straightforward, and you do hw every chapter, along with EC that boosts your grade. Very easy if you actually care, and class isn't boring! Would recommend!

Dr. Mason has a way of making the lectures both informative and funny. There are 5 multiple choice tests (30 questions) and a final (75) along with online connect homeworks. Tests are based off in class notes, so show up and you'll get no less than a B.

She was my first college class ever, at 9a.m. on Monday mornings and I am so grateful. She gives college advice every day and is extremely helpful and informative and personal. She is incredibly fun and funny and has blue hair and tattoos! Her tests are easy and the online connect textbook work takes a while, but it's not bad and it helps you a lot

Dr. Mason's class definitely is not boring. I love how clear her powerpoint are so it is easy to take notes. There are only 360 points in the class so make sure you take the time to study and do well on each test!

I had Dr. Mason for Adulthood and Aging of Psych and she is just wonderful! She gives you study guides for her tests and daily college advice. She truly cares about her students' success and I highly recommend taking any class with her!

Dr Mason is so kind and hilarious! She's very real and genuine. The only thing is her tests are so hard/impossible. You have to know every single bit of material inside out to get a good grade on the tests. Book for 311 is expensive and dry. Would nit suggest taking if you don't have to for your major or minor.

But she is really caring and interesting & makes this class very worthwhile. the tests are so easy its insane just make flash cards. she is also super motivating about keeping everyone focused and on task all semester. wish i could take more classes with her!

Get ready to work for your grade - the Connect readings/HW take one to a few hours each, and you have 3-4 to do every 2 weeks or so. Be able to apply what you learn. Love her!

Mason is an amazing professor, especially for psych 101. She really knows how to execute the material for you to understand it better and is willing to answer an y questions you have. Her homework load is a little heavy and time consuming but you have at least two to three weeks to do it all.

there is soo much extra credit for this class it is hard to not end with anything higher than an A. There are these assignments each week (connect hw) and they take FOREVER. overall though she is very good and the class is super easy.

Good professor. Took this class while at Danville High school. It had a lot of homework. Expect to spend a lot of time on that for each assignment. It gets worse near the end of the semester too. Professor makes the class really enjoyable. In fact, I wanted to be a psychologist after this class, lol.
