If you like writing papers take this course. You dont ever have to take a multiple choice test, unless you WANT to!.. No need to attend class. Notes on WEBCT.. Just write 3 Papers and thats all there is to it. Very awsome class.

A good prof, really nice and makes you think. Likes to challenge students and have students challenge him. His class is easy and interesting and his expectations are clear and easy to attain. The workload is light(you don't need a textbook). If you're looking for a good grade and interesting class, take his!

This guy is by far the coolest prof I've ever had. You don't need to get a textbook, and you don't have a midterm, but his lectures are awesome and he loves to discuss things. Wicked prof! Focused more on discussions and debate rather than your cookie cutter prof who spews then expects you to regurgitate information that you forget immediately after your exam. This felt less like a class and more like a constant debate. Minimal work required and yet I found that I retained more information from discussing than I did from my other classes. His style is different and interesting.

Had him for social psych and personality and trust me when I say write the essays. I hated him in social psych, that's the kind of class you want to learn concrete concepts in, I felt like I was cheated out of learning anything. However, personality is a very good class to take with him. You can learn, AND it's easy.

Literally the most inspiring, the most engaging, the most passionate and the most hilarious professor I have ever had. The paper is really tough if you're just a normal, well-adjusted person, though. Go with the regular exam if self-analysis isn't your thing or you don't have a deep, dark past.

Genuinely nice and helpful. Assignment expectations are relatively vague, so talk to him one-on-one before doing the essay (& the oral exam is by far the easiest option for the final). Had him for personality and psychology of the family. He is amazing but make sure to get feedback from him on the "Who am I" paper. You have to be very introspective to do well on the paper (which you need in order to be a great psychologist)

After completing my undergrad, I had to return to university to take one course that was required for admission into a master's in counselling and I am SO happy I took it with him. Honestly, of all the years I have been in university, he was by far my favorite professor. So knowledgeable, down to earth and real. Such an inspiring individual.

The concepts aren't easy but he does such a good job teaching them and is very engaging, at least with our class, getting people to talk and debate and give their input. He is always open for more help and clear things up and is so progressive as a teacher with the multiple options for your final.

Majority of people end up with 70's- multiple choice can be really confusing and has high expectations for the paper. Considering the material is so simple you would expect marks to be higher

Excellent professor overall. While his lectures tend to be more philosophical, he does a great job conveying his messages. The workload is light (1 Midterm 1 Final). No textbook used. However, you will do yourself a favor in not underestimating his exams. Multiple Choice can be quite tricky; memorize key concepts well for fill-in-the-blank, etc.

Awesome professor! He is the most entertaining/engaging prof I have had so far! If you fail the midterm he allows a take home assignment to bump your mark to a 60, he also provides you with options for the final (Written exam, final paper, oral exam) which is awesome!

He's an engaging prof who loves what he does, and is a little wacky. But don't expect an A. If you have any kind of psychological issue, it's impossible to get more than a B+ on the final (if you don't do the test). He'll say you're "stuck in the disembodied side."

Amazing prof that should be taken whenever possible. Easiest A+ of my life. Studied the night before for the midterm and got 94 and the final exam can be a paper, written or oral exam (I recommend the latter). Extremely interesting lectures as well.

Outstanding professor. Interesting lectures and viewpoints, no textbook required, and a light workload. His exams are tricky but not impossible to get 90s on if you memorize the slides. Minimal studying time required for an A+ in this course. Highly recommended.

I took all his classes and got A's in all of them. Not hard if you're introspective. He's a great prof. I even nominated him for an award one year. However, I was surprised and disappointed last semester to find him quite condescending one on one. I really looked up to him prior to that.

I left this course with a better understanding of myself. I wrote the final take-home essay that forced me to question my own life and behavior and I have never forgotten that experience. He takes teaching to a whole new level.

Go to class. You will need to hear his explanations, because truthfully the English on his slides doesn't make much sense. Individually the words he uses are right, but when stuck together in a sentence it's confusing af. His exams are pretty tough; you need to study thoroughly, because literally anything is testable in his class.

Zadrag is a very good prof but if you're not interested in philosophy and self-reflection you will not enjoy his class. By far the most amazing human being to set foot on this earth. Not only is he a great prof but he genuinely cares for every single student he has or had. He allows the material to relate to your life and engages with the students every class. His finals are the true reason I have taken 2 years with him, the oral exam changed my life.

Great prof. 2 midterms 50% of grade first one is optional. If your second midterm grade is higher he takes that grade, if lower, he does the average. Final is worth 50%-3 options- written exam, multimedia presentation or an essay, do all of them and he'll give the best grade. No textbook, posts slides on blackboard. Go to class and participate.

He is the most intriguing prof the university has to offer. Coming to class was actually enjoyable because it was worthwhile to hear him lecture. I definitely do not regret taking this course. He is a real gem!

I loved this class because I found it so interesting and really appreciated how eccentric Professor Zadrag is. The lectures are worth going to and will definitely help your understanding of the power point slides. HEAVY CONTENT!! I believe we learned 12 theorists over the semester. Exams are fair but very very very very detailed and hard.

I don't know who I love more: Haddad or Zadrag. He's is a great teacher, I could go to class angry and he would make my day better. Funny, inspiring and caring. Conveys the material effectively and elaborates in an interesting way. No textbook, so only the slide material was on the exams. The existential phenomenology unit which he researchers is interesting but can be hard to grasp if you don't come to class as it is very philosophical. Learned more about myself in this class.

Hilarious prof who manages to keep students really engaged! Anyone who has taken Social psych with another prof all said it was really dry, but that wasn't the case at all with this guy! My only criticism is that concepts can sometimes be difficult to grasp, especially towards the end, but other than that, he's fantastic!

Take this class if you are interested in learning more about yourself! To people saying he rambles, or he's too philosophical, you are all clearly missing the point of the course. The content has questions you'll ask yourself in your 40s if you hit a midlife crisis, so better to face it now than later! You'll be genuinely happier if you learn now!

Unfortunately, the exams are mostly memorization--lots of MCs. He is one of my favourite professors, so I absolutely recommend him--just get ready to memorize and regurgitate

I absolutely loved this prof! I actually looked forward to coming to class each week because he makes every lecture so interesting and inspirational; he cares so much about every student and really conveys the material in a way that pulls you in. Midterms were slightly tricky, but if you study enough you'll do fine! No textbook too.

Amazing prof! Easily one of the best I've had out of my 4 years at uOttawa. He makes you want to come to class and it really opens your eyes to different perceptions and understand yourself. Format was easy to do well on: 2 midterms (each 25%) and one final exam (worth 50%), all multiple choice.

Very insightful prof. Very much enjoyed the content. Tests are MC but pretty tricky, so you must know content well. No textbook. Not available easily outside of class, doesnt use email.

Mr Zadrag is ranked as easy, however this personality class was quite hard for me. His lectures are inspiring and he introduces us to an alternative way of approaching psychology. I would recommend him for sure!

I write this a year and a half after taking his class. I sat in the front and listened to him speak all lectures and learned so many things that have helped me and had a positive impact on my life. I am thankful to have this taken this course during my university experience.

He is THE BEST teacher I have EVER had. All through high school & university I sat at the back of the class. This changed as Mr. Zadrag is so inspirational & completely changed my outlook on life. I loved his teaching so much that I sat at the very front of the class. He is truly amazing. 0 negative comment about him. 11/10! look out for his book!

If you're taking PSY3303 (Personality) you should ONLY take it with professor Zadrag. This guy is awesome. His lecture material was so applicable to life which made the material easier to understand and made you actually want to learn. His lectures were ones I ACTUALLY looked forward to/wanted to attend!

Great prof; the lectures were very inspirational. He puts a lot of effort into his teaching. Exam was a bit difficult.
