She talks about random stuff sometimes. But she is really good teacher. And her teaching method really helps you understand the material. Because I was never making A's and B's on my math test on the regular before taking her. So if you want a good grade take her. Plus you don't even need the book because we hardly used it.

Mrs. K is a great prof. She has a diffrent approach to teaching and it works. You learn, absorb and understand. Everything tought in class is based on what will be on the test. No surprises. On line HW not mandatory. You control the outcome of your grade. I'm taking her again and so is half my class so that speaks volumes in itself!!

I never felt the need to write anything on this website because people who write bad things about a teacher are really taking out their anger on them for their very own failure. If you complain about a teacher its only cause you failed, they did not fail you. IN THAT NOTE, i think she was a very kind lady

P Marjorie is really sweet girl, if u are not good at Math, don't take her. She gave just a few extra credit mx 3 points 4 each chapter. She's really fast, so if u have doubts u have to go to SPA, or get help. I study really hard for pass the class and I pass; but was b/c I got extra help and spend time separately. have an ad, but she's not serious

Very good teacher! I have NEVER been good in math and I understand EVERYTHING with her. I don't get all the bad ratings for her. She is NOTHING like the previous ratings. She goes over questions if you ask her and she explains everything in a very practical way that you can understand.

This professor is amazing! I had an SL leader in her class as well, Rebecca, and she too was awesome! You don't have to buy the textbook. Online homework was very easy to follow. She helps you in every way she can while explaining new material. Very sweet woman. I'm taking her again for the next math! Got an A in her class!Just do your work.

She talks slow and clear. You can't really BS your way out of any general ed class, so try your best and you will get an A. Only her final is multiple choice. No quizzes and little homework. She made the textbook and it's $8.00 at the book store. Homework is only two pages due at the day of the test. She's really nice and is available to help you

Excellent Instructor, at first I wasn't sure about not having a traditional txt.bk. but found it to be much easier because it streamlines new content. Less overwhelming. Worked hard, but learned a lot. Highly recommend this Professor.

No need to buy textbook, she uses a work book w/ everything you need. I hated math my entire life and got an A in her class! She's really easy going and cracks jokes. Very helpful-she'll stay on a problem until everyone gets it. Tests werent too bad, but go to class because she moves fast. Overall, good math experience for being out of school 4 yrs

Exellent teacher!! never thought I could be an A student in math..very easy to understand, and always willing to answer questions, even before test time.The only thing is working on the online homwk that is alittle boring but it count as a test grade, so is worth it. She is helpful,knows her stuff & makes it interesting. Sometimes she can get a little ditzy but its mostly because she may forget something small. Its actually funny and makes it more enjoyable. She shows you pretty good short cuts that are very helpful in passing the state exam. I had major personal issues and still passed! #tears-Randy

easiest class i have ever taken. if you actually know anything about math, you will be bored to tears, but that's just what they teach in college algebra at valencia apparently. she's a very nice lady, only asks you to buy workbooks (cost $40 for both) but you MUST have them. tests are easy. must have graphing calculator.

Ms Kawoski is really nice. I struggle with math but she helped me. She cowrote the book, kind of cool. Bit disorganized but knows her stuff. Cares about her studnents. Book has lots of examples and her test questions are the same type.

She isnt boring, and even though she's strict on attendance, its a class you really dont mind going to.. she makes mistakes sometimes but just laughs it off and shes really laid back and nice. She really cares about students doing well on the tests so she makes sure to tell you what to study, do the homework! Definitely take her

She's an average teacher. Her test are hard but if you do your homework before the test then it shouldn't be that hard. Grades purely on test and quizzes. Willing to help with your homework after class.

I am horrible at math and I ended this class with a B. I ended with a 79 and she bumped it up at the end for me. If you go to class and do the homework the tests aren't that bad. There are no surprises on the tests, she prepares you for everything. She drops your lowest test score and replaces it with you HW grade. I would take her again for math!

I have been out of math for 3 years and i am terrible at math, and her class wasn't that bad. She is fair with grading. If she sees you put in effort and that you're really trying she will help you out. She always did a review before the test, and she basically tells you what to expect on the test.

The class was very good i would recommend this professor to everyone not just because she explains everything before the test , but also because she drops the test in which you got the lowest score . I enjoyed taking classes with her don't pay attention to those comments from 3 years ago.

Karwowski is a great teacher. She goes over what is important in the chapters, and has her own way of doing certain math problems which may or may not be easier, depending on the person. She grades very leniently, the final was on the last chapter. She is very helpful if you have trouble understanding something.

She takes the time to explain the topic thoroughly if students didn't understand, she's very helpful and her tests are very easy if you study and pay attention in class. There is a lot of homework that helps for the tests and a few quizzes. Take a lot of notes and the class should be a breeze. The final is not cumulative!!!

Professor is very thorough and clear. The only thing I can complain about is that the homeworks online can be more complicated than what she teaches in class. She'll explain it to you if you ask her though. She also does an exam review which is awesome. Would take her again.

Had her for College Algebra. Makes you take the tests in the testing center, but dedicates a day during each chapter to do a full review (very helpful). She gives tons of short cuts and explains everything so even a dummy could understand it. Lots of homework but its math, what do you expect? She drops your lowest quiz AND test grade at the end.

Professor Karwowski was a good teacher. I took College Algebra, make sure you know what you were doing in Intermediate Algebra. She assumes you know a lot of things from Intermediate by heart. Tests are taken in testing center, grades heavy. She makes mistakes often. You'll pass the class by paying attention and staying off your phone. Good teacher

She's an amazing professor. Many classmates says she's tough. But with math, you need to do a lot of practices. If you are not a math genius, don't expect to master every test. You have to do the practice questions! She said when she was in college, she did every single question on the text book. And I did the same and I get good scores.

Professor Karwowski was a great math teacher. I HATE math, but she was very understanding and tried to simplify everything that she could. Though her tests were a bit difficult, and some of the homework was lengthy, if you do the work you will get an A, just as I did, even if you don't like math. I highly recommend her as a teacher. :)

Math has never been my strong subject and it always intimidated me. I took the 6 week summer class online (I figured I'd shorten my suffering). I'll tell you this: Prof. Karwowski explains things so well and is always open to help after class. She wrote the book she uses for the class. For the first time in my life I actually understand math.

Prof. Karwowsky is Great! Of course it's not an easy class and you have to do the work, but she really tries to make it as easy as possible. On word problems she practically gives you half the answer in the question and uses examples easy to understand. I didn't even read the book, just watch her lectures and you'll do great. Gives Extra credit too

i LOVEDDD this professor. i am a dual enrollment student and this class was so easy. she explains everything SO well and all i did was watch the zooms (live or recorded if you cant make it) and take notes. there is a HW for each lesson, a chapter quiz and a chapter test. all HW due day of test. SO EASY AND SO MUCH TIME.

She is the best professor I have ever studied with. I used to believe Im not a math person until I worked with her. She make math so easy. Says exactly what you should expect on the exams. Tests are expected and quizzes everything comes from her lecture and homework. Its not heavy at all. She gives extra credit generously.

Best math prof. I ever had! She already has notes prepared for you. You have full access to zoom videos, hw & notes while taking all chapter tests. Quizzes are only 4 questions, easy. Hw is lengthy but its everything she covers in meetings & notes. Strict on due dates & no extra credit. Passed with an 91.48 A & I suck at math! Take her!

Taken online with a full time job. Loved her so much!! One quiz, practice test, and test per chapter. Assignments through Mymathlab with recorded lectures on canvas. Watch all videos and take notes and you will pass easily. Practice tests are lengthy (up to 60 questions) with unlimited attempts. All lectures and homework are OPEN until test is due!

Professor Karwowski is a great at her job. She has notes prepared each class and if you have any questions she goes over it. Before every quiz and test she goes over exactly what will be on it, so that is super helpful. If you miss class she puts the notes online. She also uploads videos of the lecture she gives in class.
