Great teacher. Surprisingly fun class. professor from USD. Doesnt make a big deal out of attendance, very helpful. practically gives the answers to the test a few days before the test. You really cannot fail this class.

By far, the best teacher Ive had. He is very laid back, and really funny. The assignments arent hard, and he is very flexible. The tests arent that difficult as long as you study. Doesnt take roll, and doesnt mind if you arent there. Would definetly take again!!!

Take this teacher (either Macro or Micro). He's awesome. He's really helpful, teaches really well, and can be pretty damn funny. Do your homework, and you'll be set for the tests.

Honestly one of the easiest, most laid back classes I've ever had. Pretty much just notes every day, and his study guides are exactly what is on the test. Such a cool guy!!! Easy A

Gave us the work to do and test to study and that was that. he emailed us when we had questions and over all was a cool teacher. the online assignments were structured well and he always replied back to questions. would take again for econ 121 if he was online. simple...study, read and get an A

This professor is bad ass!!! Show up to every class (you can do it!) take good notes and "actually read" and you will easily get an A. It is not as hard as it may seem and he breaks it down so you really understand the material. Was very surprised that his class ended up being my favorite. Its not an easy subject but he made the class fun. You've got do the work but like anything, you get out of the class what you put into it. Funny and helpful instructor. This guy gets an A+.

Awesome teacher. The class is set up very clearly and he wants everyone to succeed. Go to class, do assigned problem sets, and show up to the review days for tests. He gives very clear notes that lay out exactly what will be on the tests. Definetley recommend him.

if ur good @ econ,dont buy the bk.his notes/pp slides have everything.bk just gives u detailed info to understand better(dont read colored boxes-waste of time).u do need bk 4 hw probs so copy the pgs or somethin.very easy to get a B or C. Best teacher as Mesa! Knows his stuff and knows how to teach it. If you go to class and take notes you cant do bad in his class. He is thorough and makes everything super clear. I took this class during the intersession. We were flying through 3 chapters a week. If you can keep up with the reading and the assignments and even study a bit for the tests, you'll do fine. I really liked how well organized the course and assignments were. Overall, I would recommend this professor - atleast for the online version.

Man this class was really difficult to me. Take 3 tests and 6 quizzes, five problem sets, and stock assignment. You can drop the lowest quiz and test score. This guy flies threw chapters and writes really fast. He knows his stuff, and is a really cool guy. You don't need the book because his notes are really good. Take this guy, he's good.

I took this class online. He is very prompt and responds in a highly reasonable time. Buy the book! It makes it a lot easier for taking test and quizzes. Allows you to print out book chapter but is highly inconvenient when trying to find a certain topic No glossary.

Take time out to do the Online HW practice probs, it really helps on the actual HW assign that's graded. He's very helpful. No need for classroom setting, everything you need to pass these courses are ONLINE!

Mark is a great teacher I got a B in his class last semester. To do well you should take a lot of notes, which he makes very easy by puting everything on the board for you. I am already registered in his microeconomics class fro this coming semester.

Had him for 120 & 121. I took him online for both. Read the text, do all hmwk/xcredit and you should be fine. He is an excellent/organized online teacher. I have had many online classes and rate him as my favorite in being most organized, quick to respond and grade. Glad his class was available.

Taking the ONLINE class in the summer of '07. TAKE THIS CLASS. Lecture notes are provided online through webct. You don't even have to read the text, the lecture notes are more than sufficient and extremely helpful in learning the material. Trust me, I always look for the easiest and most straightforward online classes, and this takes the cake.

I took this class online. He offered many extra credit options throughout the semester. There were also required discussion board postings along with a weekly quiz and three exams each covering 4-5 chapters.

Professor Abajian is a wonderful professor. He makes Economics interesting. I took him for both 120 and 121- got a B in both. Be prepared to take a lot of notes, every-thing you need to learn is written on the board. U don't neeed the book. The quizes are hard, but the tests weren't so bad. Make sure to do the problem sets, they boost your grade.

I took this online course and while it wasn't super easy, there are plenty of opportunities for extra credit. I got a better grade than I expected, but you HAVE to do the reading if you expect a good grade. Prof. took a while to respond and there were a few technical difficulties with the online course, but all in all a good teacher.

This class is sweet You DONT NEED TO BUY THE BOOK. All the notes he writes on the board will be on the test. He doesnt use the book at all. Just lots of notes and the tests arent too bad just need to study. Lots of problem sets very easy. Take this Class great teacher a little hard but if you go to class everyday should get a B or A.

Good professor with a great sense of humor. Knows his subject well yet isn't pompus. BEST TEACHER IVE HAD AT MESA! Tells you exactly what you need to study for the tests and quizzes, comes directly from lecture notes so you do have to be at class to take notes. Book not necessary at all as long as you go to class. If you have to take an econ class, he is the teacher to get! Always lets all crashers in first day of class too!

Easy-going professor; he knows his stuff though and presents it in a way that's easy to understand. I just studied for each exam (he reviews everything that's going to be on the exam beforehand) and did the homework (you only have a few handouts to complete) and I did well. Taking notes it helpful. If you try you'll do well. Highly recommended.

He was an amazing professor. In the beginning, I only took his class because my friend was in it, but he made it fun and interesting to me, a bio major. He doesnt give a lot of home work but that mostly what his grades are based off of along with tests and quizzes.

Prof. Abajian was a great a professor! Although the course is not an easy one, he made it as clear and easy as possible. There are bi-weekly quizzes, which he takes some questions from them to use towards the exams! I suggest you take this class with him!

Great professor! About 4 sets of hw's: fairly easy. 1 STOCKS project: easy! Bi-weekly quizzes, he uses some questions from the quizzes & puts them on the exams which is a great advantage for the student. And he gives test reviews a couple of days before. I highly recommend this class/prof.

The structure of this class was nicely designed and easy to follow. The course load wasn't overbearing and help was definitely available when needed. I would highly recommend taking it with this prof!

Professor Abajian was very helpful and clear. The lectures were interesting, and I felt like the class was fairly easy. There are take home problem sets that act as homework and four exams. He takes notes on the whiteboard and posts them, so it is necessary to come to class to get the information.

I had him for macro and micro and he was an awesome teacher. Very clear and always willing to clarify any issues. He gives you all the notes to succeed in his class.

He's sooo funny! Despite the dry material, his comments always wake me up. Book is optional. I didn't need mine but i attended classes. This guy mastered how to use the whiteboard(does not erase until done with the subject). Always has a funny story to share and don't bother with a textbook. Just take notes on everything he writes down and you'll pass. His test always consist of about 30multi choice and 5 open answer. Amazing professor but don't expect to get an A without studying.

I didn't get the grade I wanted but that doesn't mean he was a bad professor, this subject just sucks lol. No hw, gives quizzes frequently along with exams. Not bad at all

Great professor, would recommend him to anyone. Big on lectures and NO textbooks, so pay attention in class and keep good notes, don't show up to sleep or slack. Great talker and instructor. Have Fun!

He's very straight forward but if you're bad at Econ, don't take him. He's too smart to be teaching people who have no idea what he is talking about. I wish I liked his course because he is very knowledgable and willing to help you learn, but I really could not keep up with the fast talking and all of the cause&effect terms that all sound the same

Great Professor. You get what you put into this class. I personally wasn't good a macroeconomics. Drops 1 of your lowest test scores. No CURVES. He's a professor that isn't out to get his students but pretty difficult if you fall behind! Be sure to keep up.

Best professor I've had. Class is test heavy but he goes over EXACTLY what will be on the exam in review. If you study the review you will get an A. Econ is difficult for many but he makes a hard class manageable. I took him for Micro and Macro in the same semester and got an A in both, he rounded my 89.4 in Micro to an A. Funny and all around cool

Nice guy. He has a sense of humor and tries to make the class somewhat entertaining. However, for me, I didn't really enjoy his teaching style. He talks really fast and explains things like we already have knowledge on the subject. I personally like using a book so I can look at the pictures and compare and contrast with his notes on the board.

He is AMAZING. Great lectures, that students can actually relate to. The only downfall is he does not have powerpoint slides to post online, so DO NOT SKIP. The absolute best part of the class is he tells you EXACTLY what will be on the quizzes, exams, and final right down to the very last problem. Take him, you will not regret it!

He is a really funny, easy going professor. All you have to do is listen in lecture and you're set. His tests can be a little difficult, but with the curve and his generous rounding up, your grade can be bumped up quite a bit. Overall, you'll learn a lot and hear funny stories about his kids, which makes his class worth it.

Professor Abajian is a very good teacher, he doesn't take attendance, but be sure you are there always, there is no slides on blackboard, you must take note. class is a little bit difficult, make sure you work on it.

Prof. Abajian was a great teacher. He made the material interesting and never wasted his time when lecturing. His homework is pretty straight forward and comes from the notes you take in class. The tests were a little challenging but he gives out partial credit for some of your answers. He gives you a project to do that boots your grade too.

I took this class over the summer, the learnsmarts were the extra credit. There were homework assignments and quizzes. Everything was fairly easy to understand and if you weren't able to understand you were able to find the answer fairly easy.

Professor Abajian is an amazing professor, he really knows what he's talking about and you'll learn a lot from his class. I found his tests to be a little bit difficult for me personally (has 3 tests, 1 final test) but if you study really hard you could pass them. His class is based on tests, a couple hw sheets, & a stock assignment. Just study!!!

One of the most straightforward professors I have taken at Mesa. He also makes a lot of jokes throughout the class which is pretty entertaining but never gets off topic. He is willing to answer any questions or address any concerns you may have, but the course is a challenge, so don't slack off or miss any lectures. NO TEXTBOOK AT ALL.

Abajian is awesome. No textbook is needed, and he tells you what kind of problems will be on his exams before the exam days. If you go to class and take a good note, it is easy to get an A. He is funny too.

Professor Abajian is a great professor his class was not easy but it was not hard I took it online and really enjoyed it. He uses mindtap where you will do all your homework, quizzes, and exams. There is also discussions that you'll have to do but they are interesting topics at least I thought they were. Extra Credit is offered in mindtap. Study!!

The class is not bad. A lot of homework. The main issue that even if you want to prepare for the exam with 120 questions pre-tests (not required), you get absolutely different questions appear in the quizzes and exams. Has 3 extra credit opportunities, but not a huge game-changer for the grade.

Professor Abajian's online Econ 120 class is not too hard but is pretty annoying to deal with. The homework are kind of a hit or miss since each part of the homework averages the grade from each attempt up to 3 times, and the tests and exams can be fairly tough to handle. There is extra credit but it isn't a crazy amount to make a crazy difference.

Amazing Professor. Straight to the point. Everything he writes on the whiteboard is important information and he goes slow enough so you have plenty of time to write. Tells you every thing that is going to be on the quiz/midterms. Drops your lowest test grade. He is respectable and knows his stuff. No textbook reading needed and he has 4 hw assign.

I love this professor I believed that it his better to have book so you can understand what you are doing in the homework example of economics. For me was difficult so example of the homework i had to look on quizlet to let me know to do Eco 120 and he is not flexible on extending exams and quizzes.

Professor Abajian may be a little homework and test heavy, but he will provide you with all the tools necessary for success in his class. Be ready to work and you should be able to score really well in any of his classes.

This is my second time taking him and it went just as well as the first. Professor Abajian is respectable and very professional! He is someone who makes sure that his students have what they need to succeed.

Super good professor, online class had little interaction. Gives helpful reminders and the grading criteria is pretty straight forward. Honestly a good class for anyone who is a self-paced learner and good in the book. Looking forward to the next Econ class with him.

Super straightforward class, you purchase a Mindtap access code and complete the assignments and quizzes. You get 3 takes at homework questions and Mindtap explains right/wrong answers well. There are occasional extra credit assignments too which help balance your grade too. Average homework amt. def the least stressful out of my classes lol

The online class is very organized so you aren't hit with any surprises. Your grade accurately represents the effort you put in. The quizzes, hw, and exams are taken on cengage so the textbook and class is all online. He also provides prerecorded lecture videos and highlights what is important, which is very helpful! Highly recommend him for econ!

Overall a good teacher. Quiz every Sunday along with 1-2 homework assignments that arent too difficult. Lectures posted every week online which arent difficult. Class discussions are around 30 minutes if you take your time. 7/10 class

I took this class online and professor Abajian did an amazing job at providing lectures even tough we didn't meet face-to-face. He provides enough information in his lectures without having them be too long. After watching his lecture videos Great professor! I don't really like econ but I actually enjoyed this class :)

If you attend lectures, quizzes, tests, and homework are easier, and you won't need the textbook. If you miss a class, there is no file of notes anywhere, so either borrow from someone or use the textbook. Overall professor structures the class to help the student practice before tests. This is a fairly easy class.

Great professor, only negative is that he doesn't post his notes so if you miss you need to ask a classmate. The class itself is kind of difficult, but Professor Abajian is a great teacher and will answer any questions you have. Just make sure you study and do all of the assignments and you'll be fine.

Take him for econ, straight forward assignments due each week on Sundays. If you manage to get anything under an A in this class, its your fault.

I took ECON 120/121 this year and thoroughly enjoyed both. The lectures were all prerecorded from COVID-19 but were straightforward and easy to follow. He is engaging and does his part to prepare you for coursework, quizzes, exams, and real-life applications. I don't have any complaints, but I only give a 5* if the professor went above and beyond.

Love this guy! He's so funny and keeps the lectures engaging and interesting. Homework is given once every few weeks and is pretty easy. Tells you exactly what is on every test and quiz. Great guy and if you pay attention you will get an A. Can't recommend him enough!!

This class/professor is extremely lecture based so you will be taking a lot of notes. His lectures are very organized making the note taking straight forward for the students. I don't believe attendance was mandatory, but like most classes your success will rely on it. The tests are hard if you don't study and apply yourself. Not a lot of HW

He's a great, engaging professor that will provide you with relevant information regarding what's in the homework's and exams. Make sure you study really hard though, cause the majority of your grade is based on the exams. But luckily, he'll tell you exactly what's on the exams.

I found Professor Abajian's style to be fast but thorough. Write fast and take good notes. I found his lectures enjoyable. He doesn't mind questions and is available after class for more in depth help. Exams are HARD though, so you have to know the material inside and out. Sometimes if you ask a question, he answers very fast, so re-ask if needed.

When I say attendance is mandatory, I mean it in the sense that if you want to have an idea what quizzes, hw or exams will be based on then attendance is sorta mandatory. When I was taking this professor's class I had the urge of licking his bald head. He a pretty chill guy and pretty knowledgeable, I suggest notes and studying outside of class.
