Mark is hands down the best professor I have ever had at JMSB. The Project Finance course he teaches is the most practical course I took and I can confidently say that my financial modelling skills are solid after taking his class. The way he teaches and cares about his students is exceptional and he is always available to students, a true legend!

Great teacher, who's very easily accessible and always wants to help and wants the best of his students. Assignments are good practice for his tests; however, his finals and tests can be very long. Lecture style is reading slides; however, it works for this course and he's happy to repeat or go over something in specific when asked.

Best COMM308 professor. I had him in the Winter 2022 semester and his lectures were the only section which was always completely full! Beyond caring for his students and his notes are solid. Was available all day and all night for his students and I would have meetings with him at midnight sometimes when I had questions. Busy guy but awesome prof!

Personally, he prepared me for this class like no other prof. I had to retake the class 3 times and I guess the third time is a charm! Beyond caring for his students and accessible 24 hours. He even gave us his personal number to reach him! Loved by all students. He also teaches engineering and it seems he might be a bit tougher with them lol!

Prof Sagaria's FINA 455 Project Finance course is a must take for all those interested in infrastructure investments. Hands down the only elective class I would recommend to finance students. Mark is an incredible professor and extremely knowledgeable on the subject matter. Up to date topics, amazing notes, and you learn financial modelling!

I just had to leave a review for Prof Sagaria even though I only had 1 COMM 308 lecture with him. It is my 4th time taking this class and the way he explains finance in such a clear and simple way is amazing. Class capacity was 80 students, and this class was filled to capacity with 80 students, not typically the case in any engineering class. The absolute best prof in the engineering department at Concordia, as simple as that. The most seasoned professional in terms of both education and experience. I learnt a tremendous amount. Facts tell the story! Pretty funny that all sections for 308 are always completely open and green with the exception of Professor Sagaria's which is always the only one which is closed and red!
