Doesn't give a crap. Gives out test questions ahead. Doesn't teach material.
Who wants a free "A"! He's the COOLEST!
didnt even buy the book....great class
No Comments
Everyone does well, he knows what hes talking about, funny
some questions on tests confusing...overall a nice teacher
I found his tests tricky! Great guy though
Nice and clear, but tough tests if you hate to study
Multi-millionaire who loves money and teaches on the side..very cool.
funny, laid back. easy A
Tough tests, helpful, lots of real life experience
Work in groups and you will do better on tests - Says what's on his mind!
Didn't learn a single thing in this class.Great guy though, did nothing got a B
You will learn lots about his cable and recycling companies.
Gives questions, teaches little. Very funny guy. Pretty good class.
Gives Test questions but never lectures and tests are hard.
gives you the questions to the exams, they can be tricky though
class is good - you learn theory from the book and how to apply it from him
Good prof if you want to do nothing. Don't take if you expect to learn something
Best Teacher I've had. Clear, cool, and straightforward
Not good at all. Don't learn a thing. tests are complete BS
Good guy - just because he gives the questions doesn't mean you'll get an A
he changes topics every three minutes, don't tell him u steal cable TV instant F
Tests are not easy but are fair. I learned alot in his class. Super nice!!
gave good real-life examples, relaxed, tricky tests, lectures are pointless
Fair prof. Real world experience - tests ok - Dynamic

Nice Guy, Impossible Tests.
gives questions to the test but still have to study, dont have to go to class
gives you test questions, but tests still hard. go to class...in class assignm.
Tests are VERY tricky, presentation and paper are easy, VERY nice guy
Awesome teacher if you do the work. One of the best professors i've had!
His tests are very confusing and they were hard.
great Teacher. tricky tests, but overall one of the best i've had
hello, ray ramano
GOODlooking older man...
he gives you the test ?'s before you take the test, but you still have to study; class can be pointless sometimes; nice guy!
Good teacher willing to help students in and out of class, study guides crucial for test..don't worry about taking notes
Looks like the guy who did mtv news awesome professor lots of real world experience. Fun class, gives exam ?'s b4 exam, but look up answers and go to class (in class quizzes often) exams are harder than you initially think but great class...def take
Spectacular
Awesome instructor, if you fail this class, it's your own fault. gives test questions as study guide, papers are a no brainer, definitely take this class for an easy "B"
Great teacher but test have crazy answers!
Mr Bambach is a very cool guy. Class is a little boring but overall a laid back, enjoyable class.
He is a very hard teacher. Don't take the class with him. Even though he give you the exam questions in advance but the exam is very tricky. Suggest taking it with another professor.
Unfair tests....nice guy and all but do not take
learned a lot, he has a lot of real world knowledge but tests are tricky, all around a cool guy
The test questions are given to you but do not help at all, they are very tricky. But you can do other work to bring your grade up.
funniest guy ever! gives test quest but impossible to get an A. easy B. other prof in this subject arent much better, take him
A fairly easy course. Test ques. given in advance. Show up for class b/c you do stuff that counts for a grade. Nice guy, lots of real world experience. Kinda funny.
Not only did I learn alot, but I also enjoyed the class. Very fair prof. I am think of changing my major to marketing b/c of class!!
Class isn't difficult. Easiest B in the world. But the tests are VERY tricky, even when you have the questions before hand. Getting an A is very difficult. Make sure you go to class, he takes attendance often by having you hand in a sheet of paper
Proj. extremely easy but not worth hardly any points. Test very tricky (even though he gives you the questions) Doesn't seem important to go to class but does occasionally do attendance that could help out in the end.
nice, laidback, funny guy, gives tests ?s before exam but they are still hard!!! easy project, dont need to go to class to learn but he occasionally takes attendance so in the end it might help your grade to go. recommend.
you think its gonna be an easy A, then suddenly your struggling for a B. Not a bad teacher, but definitly not the best ive had here. Easy class, easy hw's, easy project, CONFUSING TESTS!!!
Good teacher, knows what he is talking about from real world experience. Make sure you know everything about the test questions, the questions are tricky but if you study them its not bad
Don't take him. Test is very hard.. take with another professor.

This guy rocks. Excellent professor and really cool person. He writes great recommendations and is hillarious in class. Tests are not to bad either if you study his questions beforehand.
GOOD CLASS- Study the handouts!
Reminds me of Ray Ramon(from Everybody Loves Raymond). Really nice guy and hilarious comments in class. Class is alright cuz he's so entertaining. Tests are really tricky. Even if you study alot for them prepare for trickiness
really cool guy...makes class intersting (though not my the material...just his comments). But he's totally helpful and the tests aren't TOO bad since you get the questions a week early!
Nice guy, easy project, tests are kind of difficult. If you are actually interested in learning about marketing, take it with a different teacher. I don't feel prepared for higher marketing classes at all.
Very rude to students who email him or come to his office hours... Said he would help promote an business event I planned and talked bad about it during his sections I wasn't in....Thanks Bambach, I learned nothing in your class

Test are hard if you don't study.
Seems like Nice guy until end of semester. Paper grading makes no sense. Tests are difficult. Take other 301 profesor at all costs.
Nice guy..easy project and papers that are worth nothing while tests can be impossible even if you have the questions.
Pretty easy class. You can help your grade by attending class. Tests are a little tricky. Ask for a little help and you'll do well. Take this guy!
Good class. Great prof. He's funny and has tons of experience. Better than most of the teachers I've had so far.
This guy is the worst...its an easy b, but impossible to get an A. Marketing is so easy that he has to make the wrong answers on the tests the right ones so everyone doesnt get an A in the class. Bottomline...the worst
If you are a good student, it is an easy A. If you are lazy It is hard to get good grade. He is the Best at UDEL!
One of the most knowledgable, fair, open-minded, enjoyable members of the Business Dept. faculty. You'll learn a lot, but you'll work for it. I don't know anyone who dislikes this guy! Thanks for the incredible letter of recommendation.
very helpful and full of knowledge. fun guy gives test questions before test. would take again
Nice guy who is always offering to help students. Let him help you with your resume, he made mine look great! Lots of real life experience which he includes in class. Tests are a little hard, but doable. One of the best at UD.

Tells you how it is. No surprises as long as you go to class. Tests are given to you beforehand, but very tricky. If you do all papers and write those stupid video summaries you will be saved. Does not care about teaching though, he even told us his main concern was for his cable company he runs TR, and MWF classes are fillers.
Good guy. Tests can be tricky, but he grades fairly. Does nice work with your resume if you ask for help. Take this course.
one of the best at ud. very helpful and full of knowledge. fun guy, gives test questions before test. would take again!
Awesome teacher, very helpful. Designed the class to make it more interesting for students, and this way you actually learn something. Take him, you will have to work for it, but an A is definately possible.
Awesome teacher....Exams are bit tricky but very helpful over all..
AMAZING teacher! My favorite here at UD. Class is extremely entertaining, plus you actually learn! VERY helpful outside of class and very personable during office hours. Really puts himself out there to help students in any way possible. Tests are tricky, key to an A is typing out an outline of the study sheet he gives! TAKE HIM!
A lot of fun, this guy keeps things entertaining. Really loves to talk about Cable and the Eagles. He looks like Ray Romano. Class notes do NOT usually help on the test. Gives the topics for test questions in advance, but they are usually vague. Tests are tricky: be careful! Recommended for being helpful and fun, but definitely not an easy A!
Mark is DA MAN. Best teacher ever. Very helpful in the classroom and outside. 3 Exams, 4 easy papers (do them at the beginning of the semester, so you don't have to worry), 1 project, easy in-class papers (his way to take attendance. Good teahcer, good class. Take it!
Tests are tricky. You have to read the book. Papers are easy and are just grade boosters. You have to attend class because there videos shown that you must take notes on and hand in during class. This is the only reason to go. Notes are not very helpful. There's also a power point presentation.
thought this would be an easy A, but turned out to be much harder than i thought-and i consider myself to be a good student. very helpful though...found me an awesome internship!
Really good teacher. Gives you a study guide before all tests. Gives option to take best 3 grades our of 4 tests. EXTREMELY helpful with writing recommendations and checking resumes...great guy, funny and very nice
Will set you up with a job or internship, but will not teach you anything that can't be found in a book. He's just not one of UD's top professors, or close to it.
Nice guy but does not teach anything relevant in class. Overheads strictly made from textbook. Go to class for attendance grade though. Would suggest taking it with someone else.
Go to class for "in class quizzes." His study guide is the actual exam without the questions--if you google every single question, you'll find the answers word-for-word on the internet. Study that for the test and you'll get an A. Thats what I did. Horrible teacher, good for contacts for jobs/internships
Don't worry about taking notes during class since all the test questions come straight off the study guide given out before each exam. Pop quizzes make attendance mandatory, and presentations worth 10% of the grade are graded generously. Overall an interesting teacher for a fluff class.
really good nice guy. go to class for in class quizes their easy. tests are straight of study guid
Bambach is clear and helpful. Very willing to help with resumes and jobs too. Must attend class because he gives unannounced quizzes. if you are there, you get an A, but if you miss it, you get a 0. His tests require A LOT of studying. The questions are very specific and you will do badly if you don't know the topics inside and out.
Lazy-he never updates his syllabus & makes you do it. He gives "pop quizzes" every once in a while which are really just notes you take on a short video he shows in class. The project is really hard to screw up. He gives all the questions from the exam out ahead of time but they're so vague they aren't extremely helpful (all from the text)
I took three Classes with Professor Mark Bambach. Mark cares about his students, makes each classes fun and interesting. He always brings his personal business knowledge to the class. Gives you great insights how the business world runs and how you should conduct yourself when confronted with real situations. Gives plenty time for assignments, he
Mark, is a good Prof and the class is easy. The problem is the lectures are very vague and the only reason you can get an A is because he gives a study guide with topics and sections you need to know and then you read them from the text. Allows companies to come in and do presentation, nice real world perspective. Class should be once a month.
easy, gives you the answer to exams
Exams are harder than what you'd think after listening to lectures. But he gives you a study guide, which is helpful as long as you really do it.
Great guy easy just go to class ad read the book
Seriously, how can you not like this guy. He is so nice and extremely helpful, if you hold an interest in marketing then you will do just fine. Not impossible to get an A at all and the class is an easy B. If you are like anti-marketing and think its a dumb major then, well, you might have some problems.
He's terrific, what else is there to really say
I was just searching thru the professors I had and me and mark had a good relationship having multiple classes together. He's a goo guy who isn't super easy, but makes it easier than others
Such a good guy. Really connects you to the real world and isnt very difficult.
He is a great guy. Really tries to help students get internships and jobs. His tests are hard though, but he gives you a study guide, which helps, but not that much. MUST STILL READ THE BOOK. and definitely attend class. All in all, great teacher, and great guy
never again. take someone else. exams are really hard and he just skims book topics and tests on detailed things he didn't go over. never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a great man. Extremly helpful both inside and outside of the class. Class is pretty easy, test are based off study guide he gives you. going to class helps but still pretty easy even if you dont attend. Would take this teacher for any class i could
Professor was great! This is class is pretty easy as long as you really study the study guides that he gives for the exams (he gives them for each!) Also, we had this partner presentation about a company and me and my partner did it the night beofre and got an A! He even looks at your resume and gives feedback! Def recommend!
Bambach is tough. Compared to other marketing classes you will get a much lower grade for the effort you put in. He does bring it lots of speakers to help you find internships and inform you about grad school opportunities which is great. Tests are quite difficult. Liked him though as a teacher overall.
The tests are pretty tough but Mark is an all around cool professor. He gives study guides for every test although I didn't find them tremendously useful. He has a number of speakers come in to help students with possible jobs, which is nice, and he'll also look over your resume which is a great help. Overall decent class.
I would never take another class with him. i though marketing would be an easy A, but he asks the trickiest and and most detailed questions on the exams, which are impossible to do well on. i don't know why everyone likes him so much. his personality is okay, but I thought he seemed really cocky.
I am a marketing major and found this class very difficult. The material seems easy enough but the questions on tests are really tricky. He has a strict policy and is arrogant; he likes to talk about himself a lot. Speakers/resume feedback are helpful but overall a hard grader and a difficult class. I don't recommend taking him!
The class is not very interesting, but the exams are not hard. You will have a review sheet before the exam. There are four exams, only count the three highest.
Mark's a great guy who really wants to see his students succeed in the real world and will help them with jobs, resumes, etc. That being said, the class is ridiculous. When it comes to the actual marketing, he teaches you very little and you have to read the book to even have a chance of getting an A. Even then the tests are really hard and tricky.
Really funny guy. The class is really boring but he did a great job bringing in prospective employers.
Really nice guy. He tries to make the boring material interesting. Uses a lot of examples to help you understand concepts. Gives a review sheet before every test. Only counts 3 of the 4 tests, last one is cumulative. Brings in employers that you have the opportunity to talk to after class. I would definitely take another class with him.
HE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST. Funny, nice, interesting, lOVES wine. Extremely helpful, he'll help with your resume, letter of recommendation, etc. He knows a lot so if you're trying to get an internship or anything he's your guy. Gives study guides for every exam, lots of curves. There's no one better to say the least.
LOVED HIM! He's really the best person to take this class with. Super cool and funny. You could run into him at Deer Park. Take him if you can.
Great professor. Really laid back. Lectures are clear and concise. Always willing to help students with their resumes and other things not directly related to the class. 4 exams that aren't very difficult and he drops the lowest exam score. Very easy group project.
Very rude and can be offensive in what he says. Doesn't teach you anything that is on the exam; you have to read the book in order to do well. Questions on exams are very nit-picky. Office hours are at 6:30 AM which don't help, and when I went, he wouldn't answer any questions I had about the material. Avoid him if you can.
He is not the best teacher, but he knows business. He says it himself, he'd rather hire someone who has experience than a high GPA. So he helps you with your resume, and brings in potential internship employers, etc. Must read the text book to have a chance to do well cause he doesnt teach whats on the test. Tests could be tricky.
Genuine nice-guy who will go out of his way to help his students. Straight forward and nice. He helps you with resume and has potential employers come in to offer internships, etc. His tests have little to do with class and class doesnt prepare you for the test. A lot of personal time reading. Also, his study guides are useless and not specific
I LOVE THIS MAN!!! I learned a lot and could talk to him about ANYTHING - from wines to TV commercials. Hands down the BEST teacher I've ever had.
I hated this class. I am basically a straight A student but I found his tests impossible! His class is absolutely useless, he spends more time talking about how many slides are left in his pwrpt than anything that could show up on an exam. He seems like a cool guy and cares about student's careers but one probably my least favorite teacher.
He's the man, anyone who says otherwise is wrong. He utilizes class time to try and help students prepare for their career and future which is probably more useful than if he strictly covered material. He gives study guides before exams, make sure you go over each topic in the book and you'll do fine. Also helped me with my resume - glad i took him
Mark is a good guy but not the best teacher. He teaches for half the class most of the time and his tests are a little tricky as he scratches the surface of each chapter. However, the other half of the class is when he has different company representatives to talk about internships and jobs. Read the book when studying and you should be okay.
Mark is the man! May not be the easiest option for BUAD 301, but if you read the textbook you will get an A on his exams, although they may be a little tricky. He truly cares about success and wants everyone to succeed. Helps with resumes, and brings in employers for internships. Hilarious man and great guy who I would highly recommend.
This class is worthless. If you want to do well just read the chapters in the book before the tests, but the test questions are still tricky sometimes. Don't expect to learn anything about marketing. Class time is also useless.
Go to class, take notes, and outline the text to do well. The class is harder than I thought it would be honestly but I am still expecting an A or A-. One easy presentation. Bambach brings in a steady flow of employers and keeps us updated on professional events--AWESOME. helps us in what matters most in the business world. Great contact to have.
READ THE TEXTBOOK. The notes in class isn't nearly as important as knowing info from the text. Super helpful, really wants students to do well in the real world of business. Will help with your resume and write a rec for anyone. He has a lot of real world experience. The class is a bit boring, but he knows what he's doing. Would recommend him.
He presents himself to be a good guy with his help editing your resume and all but at the end of the day what matters is what you learn and the grade. He is Not a good teacher, extremely hard exams, almost impossible! There is not much work that can help you boost your grade up. Just a presentation worth 8%, rest are midterms/finals. Big NO!
All around good guy willing to do next to anything for you. Randomly grades notes on short videos to make you attend class. Using the book in combination with the study guide is a guaranteed A. By far the best professor I have come across. He has more real world experience than half of this university & is still a better teacher than these "PHD's".
Bambach will help you out but it's no free A. Read the book and go to class and that's all you can really do. He's good with resumes and bringing in companies to talk about internships but sometimes it takes up more time than you might like. Overall a straightforward course that requires some work for success.
exactly what everyone else says. hilarious guy, definitely knows his stuff and keeps class interesting. easy group project. takes attendance randomly. 4 exams, drops your lowest one. READ THE BOOK. his lectures don't cover enough for you to do well on exams. literally read the chapters the night before an exam though and you'll be fine.
Not quite sure why everyone loves this guy. I'm an A student and I got Cs on every one of his exams. He covers approximately 4.5% of the exam content in class so READ THE BOOK THOROUGHLY. Random attendance checks, one big group project, lots of guest speakers. Easy class, stupidly hard/random exams. Wouldn't recommend.
Good Professor, very clear, read the book before exams. Drop the lowest test grade.
Class is pointless; I skipped more than I went and still managed a B (even though I missed most of the easy pop-quiz assignments he would give for attendance some days). Don't read the text book until you get the study guide because it saves you a lot of time-but def get book. Curves tests, but usually small. Exams are a majority of your grade.
One of my favorite professors! Always keeps the class interesting. As long as you stay on his good side, you will love his class.
Great professor, he love teaching. Take his class in summer, it's easy than online class and regular semester. He explained clear, gave study guide before exam. Take him!!!!
He is hilarious but doesn't mean he won't make you work for the grade. Exams are super hard. Classes are all lectures. He gives great examples in class. READ THE BOOK!!!!
Mark is the best! He brings in a lot of companies that offer jobs internships and has a lot of experience in the field which is great especially if you're a business major. He respects students that show up & do their work & is willing to help! 4 exams, drops the lowest exam grade. 1 easy group project. Somewhat tough grader but I def recommend!
Beast. Helped me get an internship at a large top tier financial services firm
He's hilarious, definitely one of the most entertaining profs at UD. 4 exams (drops the lowest one), "quizzes", and 1 easy presentation made up your final grade. Exams were 32 questions MC and ridiculously tricky. I really liked that he brought in alot of companies for internships and job opportunities. Otherwise, i wouldn't recommend.
Getting an A is almost impossible, unless you like memorizing textbook details word for word. Lectures have nothing to do with exams but participation counts toward your grade. Read the textbook over and over again for your exams, take the presentation somewhat seriously, and go to class and you'll be okay. He really makes you work for it.
Hilarious and very real with his students. A lot of experience in the real world. He brings in a lot of recruiters to help students get jobs. Wants his students to succeed. Personally, I felt he could've spent a bit more time on the actual material so that we would be better prepared for exams, but if you put in some effort you'll get a good grade.
really good teacher. easy exam
Read the book! Tests have very specific questions but his curves are insane- added 18 points to grades for test 2 . He also drops the lowest test grade! He has industry experience and real world; offers to look at resumes for students and brings in lots of speakers. Attendance not mandatory but has easy in-class points.
Took over Winter 2015. I received an incredibly easy A grade due to the curves he gave to my class. You need to read the chapters, get a B on the exams, and he'll save your grade with the curve. The lectures lightly brush over the material, so they're only helpful as a brief introduction to what you should read. Study guides kind of help.
If you're a high-achieving student, he's awful. Doesn't prepare his own lectures, uses the textbook's slides. Doesn't go far beyond repeating what the book says. Hardly any new material, doesn't apply old concepts in a new way. Doesn't make the course interestingchallenging. Exams can be too specific. If you don't care about learning, he's great.
Mark is one of my favorite professors at UD. He has a no excuses kind of attitude which isnt a problem if you keep on top of your work. We had 4 exams, but only 3 of them counted, so if you were happy with your grade, you didnt have to take the final. There was also one group project which wasnt bad. He also brought in employers which was great.
I absolutely love Mark as a professor, he's a great guy who succeeded in the business world and speaks a lot from experience. He does a lot of community service and donates a lot of money. The tests are all textbook so you really have to read but he gives a helpful study guide. One of my favorite professors I've ever had.
Avoid at all cost. Boring lectures, tests are more about understanding wording than actually understanding material, claims he helps you a lot but office hours are only at 6:30AM. Poor public speaking that interferes with clarity of lectures
Professor Bambach tries really hard to get his message across. However he just reads power points to you and does not use real life examples which makes tests difficult. Tries to create good relationships with students however come off as too much. Attendance is mandatory, 4 tests, project, attendance make up grade. I would stay away if possible.
I took Management 121 online with this teacher, he is very good with communicating with student, sends out e-mails almost everyday with tips, reminders and instructions for the class. He is very friendly and helpful, if you message him, If he doesn't know off hand he will respond and let you know when he will get back to you with the answer.
Honestly my least favorite professor at UD. His lectures have nothing to do with his exams, so pretty much read the entire textbook in order to do well in his class. Participation is part of your grade which is helpful. He is pretty self-absorbed and talks about himself a lot.
Took this for credit this winter and it was pretty rough. The reading is doable and quizzes are a good added bonus for your grade. The tests, however, are the most textbook specific tests I've ever seen. In order to get an A you would have to outline every word of every paragraph and I wish i was exaggerating. You're at the mercy of the test.
Absolute beast. Incredibly cool dude and extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Exams are straight from the textbook, but makes a relatively boring course load interesting in class. Would highly recommend. Percentage of grade is attendance so you have to go to class.
He's a really cool guy, I had him for 301 in the fall and got a C+, but it was honestly because it was at 8 am and he occasionally takes attendance/gives you a mini assignment (nothing hard) and I never went. He gives you a study guide with the sections that will be on the exam. Great lectures- I recommend just not at 8am
Great Prof. Lectures are a little boring, but class never lasted the full fifty minutes. Definitely buy the textbook. Test questions are hard but fair. The first exam average was low, but he curved everyone's grades by 8 points. I would definitely take him again
this man is who you want to take. He has seen extreme success in the entrepreneurial world and brings his knowledge to class. He teaches right from the slides but each slide is very simple and easy to take notes from. He will randomly drop a hilarious one liner with a straight face and everybody loves it. Get to know him!!
Bambach is the man. His lectures are amazing and super relevant. Study the book and actually read it you'll be fine!
Awful teacher and awful person.
Mark is a great professor. He teaches some of what you need to know, just make sure you read the chapters also. He has been very successful and brings a lot of that knowledge to you, even offering to help with everyones resumes. He does want you to succeed and gives you plenty of opportunities. Take 301 with him if you have the chance.
Worst professor I've had. Nothing he teaches in class is on the exams, even if you memorize the book you still will never get an A. He always has to curve the exam like 12% and we all still get Cs and Ds WITH with curve. Apparently he used to be good but doesn't care any more. Whatever you do, do not take marketing with him if you care abt ur GPA
Bambach is an awesome professor but his exams are very tough. He teaches what you need to know for the exam and provides study guides, but you absolutely 100% need to supplement what he teaches with the textbook. Attendance isn't necessarily mandatory but he does show videos every once in a while that you need to take notes on.
Bambach is so chill!!! He's a great professor, actually cares about his students, and curves his tests A LOT! Very available to meet for office hours and talk about your grade. You do have to read the textbook pretty thoroughly to do well on the tests, you can't just study lecture notes. Genuinely a cool guy
I guess Bambach is an okay professor but he is awful at working with the DSS office to accommodate students with disabilities. Also very rude when you email to ask about the status of accommodations. The class is easy enough but I wouldn't recommend taking it with Bambach.
The material he teaches seems very easy until you take the tests. He will test you on the smallest term hidden within the text. You need to know EVERYTHING from the book to do somewhat decent on the exams. He is a nice guy and the class goes by fast and the material is interesting. However he doesn't have office hours and is not that approachable.
Mark is a very knowledgeable teacher that makes this class fun. However, his tests are very tricky. I studied hard for each test and never did higher than an 83. It's great if you have a photographic memory while reading the text, I don't. That aside, I recommend this course because you will learn a lot if you want to learn.
Mark, as he prefers to be called is a good professor. You must buy the book if you want to pass the class. I took the course over winter so it was very fast paced but do-able. Overall, Mark is a good professor, a littler rude, but overall a good choice. I would recommended taking his classes
Go to class he gives random in class quizzes. Difficult exams but curves. Could not care less about his students, is very rude, and has 15 minute office hour appointments which is enough to say my name and that's about it.
He is more like a business man than a professor. You may read a lot but still don't know the answer about the exam. The pop quizzes may be the only reason for the attendance. Did curve, but not that much.
Pretty good professor. You HAVE to read the textbook to do decently well on the exams, and even then it's really hard to get As. He curves them, but not a lot. Office hours are early in the morning and very quick and he's not that much help outside of class. Sort of blows you off. Overall not a bad class, but worked super hard for less of a reward.
worst BUAD prof.
You take 4 tests and that is basically your entire grade, the tests are all based off of the book, and a lot of the questions are difficult to understand. To see what you got wrong you have to go to his office hours which are before 8:00 Am and you only get 15 minutes...
I love him! He is so nice. You really have to do the work to get a good grade (pay attention, read the text), but he makes the class so enjoyable for students. I loved his classes!!!!!!!!!!
Honestly this guy is the worst professor I have ever taken at UD and I've had some bad in the past. He is not a nice person and teaches NOTHING that are on his exams. All he does is stand up there and flex how rich he is. You literally need to memorize the textbook in order to do well. DO NOT take this professor - there cannot be anyone worse.
Professor Bambach is the hardest professor I have had (I'm a senior) for a course that should not be. The material seems practical and interesting but his exams are completely conceptual. You memorized all of your notes? It won't help you. I have never rated a prof but I thought this was necessary. Do NOT take him for 471. Extremely disappointed.
exams were pretty hard, you really have to read the chapters before not just look at your notes. the class wasn't too hard just one easy presentation and 4 exams. mark is a good professor if you want someone to help you with internships and jobs. however, he is not approachable at all if you have a question he seems annoyed if you talk to him
I didn't hate Bambach. He was kind of a jerk, but as long as you went to class, took notes on his lectures (he would talk about concepts and use examples, and test you on exactly that), you'll do fine on the exams. There's a group project, but his exams are straight-forward. Don't get the online book. You don't need it.
Professor Mark is a nice person, a knowledgable businessman. He shares helpful resources to students who need an internship or job. However, he does not pay much attention to the grades. Lectures are inspirational but are not so helpful for the exams. 4 Exam's questions are wordy and illogical like a crossword than comprehension. READ THE BOOK!!!
Mark is such a respectable man. 3 exams & a final, lowest gets dropped. 1 group project that was easy. Helps a lot with career advice, resumes & offers so many job opportunities. Got an A in 301 with him also. Do the practice in the book for exams. He's funny, if you have a good sense of humor. Direct & accurate representation of the real world.
Worst professor I've had. Nothing he teaches in class is on the exams. He always has to curve the exam like 12% and we all still get Cs and Ds WITH with curve. Apparently he used to be good but doesn't care anymore. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS.
Worst professor that I have ever taken. He doesn't care about students at all and doesn't want to be bothered by anyone. He tries to act nice by curving the exams a little but he also tells students to send him wine after he curves them. I would recommend never taking a class taught by this man. A complete jerk.
Great professor. People say he is not a caring professor but he just doesn't put up with BS. If you put the effort in you will be fine, he also curves the exams a lot. Would definitely take his classes again, he knows what he's talking about and is also a pretty funny guy.
Mark knows a lot about business but also is really sarcastic and a bit harsh. We were mostly graded on exams, which were tough and really specific. I read the textbook and studied a lot but still struggled. He curved them because he wants students to do well, but I felt like this class required a lot of work and I didn't really learn much.
Mark is a great professor that genuinely cares about the grades of his students. The tests do require you to study quite a bit, but the MyLab quizzes really help to prepare. His exams are on proctorU, but he curves his exams to help everyone out a bit. Overall, there's 1 easy paper, 4 exams (lowest drops) and MyLab work every Sunday.
Pretty good professor. His lectures are very helpful. Lots of easy homework to boost grade. Exams are pretty straight forward as long as you study the lectures. He usually curves the exams and is very understanding. Also, assigned a super easy paper about ourselves that was an easy A. Learned a lot from this class!
He gives good lectures, if you pay attention you will learn useful career information. He provides lots of internship opportunities. The book is a bit of a drag. The chapters are long and dry. The tests are all from a test bank, look up the quizlet questions for each chapters before the exam and you'll get an easy A. Don't stress about the paper.
Our final grade was just made up of 4 exams (the lowest exam gets dropped), an essay which was an easy 100, and homework. The homework was easy and you can find all the answers online. It was weekly, always due on Sunday. I didn't show up to any classes and I still managed to get a B+ easily.
Bambach's class is pretty good. 3 exams, each on 3-4 chapters of material and a final. Lowest exam including the final is dropped, even if you don't take one. 1 essay which is easy and then weekly discussion board posts and a weekly online quiz, answers easy to find on quizlet. Fairly easy to get an A.
Pretty straight up and easy class. There's 3 exams that were pretty difficult if you didn't study but if you actually put the time in to prepare you're fine. Had weekly proctored quizzes that were difficult if you didn't actually watch the lectures and read the book. He curved every single quiz and exam though which helped
I personally did not like this class at all. The exams weren't really what we did in class. The only thing I liked is he drops the lowest exam and applies a curve if necessary. The homework and yellowdig discussions saved my grade because the exams were awful. Overall he is an okay teacher, just the class is boring as it is.
Bambach is a great guy who really knows his stuff. His classes are only 50 minutes 3 ties per week, so it's extremely easy to sit through them and in general if you pay attention to exactly what he skips throughout his lectures and study his notes/make quizlets for all the vocabulary on the slides then you should do well. An easy A.
Four exams, MyLab, Yellowdig, and one paper make up the entire class. Drops one test and curves almost all of the remaining exams. You have to put in the work to study, but you can get an A if you try hard enough. Nice main and even though attendance isn't mandatory, he's a funny guy who will teach you life skills if you go to class.
Really clear and concise course- took BUAD471 online. Two quizzes a week that are five questions and three exams. Take this course online with him if you can; I still learned a lot with an asynchronous class and it was easy A. I recommend using the smartbooks to study for exams.
Not going to lie the class was pretty boring but Professor Bambach is a great guy and he heavily curves each exam. Attendance is not mandatory and the bulk of the course is graded on the four exams. I would recommend taking this course with him because he cares about his students and sticks to the syllabus.
Mark is a great guy with extensive experience in the business/marketing field. Course is made up of 4 exams (he would curve&lowest is dropped), weekly homework, and discussion posts. My advice is to study the "Dynamic study modules" found on Pearson. This way, if you know the vocab, you will do well on the exams. Highly recommend Mark for BUAD301.
Bambach is one of the most qualified Professors in the business school and does a great job making the subject matter interesting and relatable. Grading is very clear, and I've gone as far as to recommend this class to non-business majors as it will help just about any career choice. I only wish I could take more classes with him.
Prof Bamback is such a chill guy. He cracks jokes in class and doesn't make it hard to do well. Exams are kind of hard and he makes you take them at the testing center. Just study hard and you'll do well. He also offers EC and curves most exams.
Mark is a great guy and really straight to the point about everything. 75% of the final grade is determined from 4 exams but the lowest of them gets dropped and the 4th exam was optional. He gives a few options for extra credit here and there but he only announced them in class. During the semester he brought in job reps for internship & job stuff.
I just dont think he cares at all. No in class review or any outside help/ He has mentioned how he is retiring multiple times in the next year or so and its only week 3. He is not super accessible except for his office hours held at 6:45am-7:45am. Good guy, just does not want to be a teacher anymore.
I have not been to his class since the first day of the semester. I have not watched a single one of the online lectures either. You have a fair amount of tedious homework every week but its pretty easy. The exams are super short all multiple choice but you need to go to the testing center. Just read the chapters before the exam and you'll be fine.
Only attended this class for the first two weeks of the semester. There is really no need to go to class and attendance isn't mandatory. Watch the recorded lectures, do the research requirement, and do the MyLab and YellowDigs and you'll be fine. Easiest class ever. Always gives extra points on the exams.
This professor cares about the students and it shows, drops the lowest exam grade and attendance is optional because he posts all the lectures. Very nice guy
Professor Bambach makes the material engaging, and drops the lowest exam grade. The class is manageable if you stay on top of the homework and use resources like unstuck ai to prep for exams.
The professor is rude, does not know what chapters are on his own exams when you ask him. If you ask for help he criticizes you for what you did when trying to make a good effort to pass the exams. Bad attitude and always in a horrible mood. Take marketing with another professor or under another program, he is simply no help. Always rude in emails.
Very nice lots of extra credit
i have never written a review for a teacher. This professor is extremely rude acts like he is above everyone every email i have sent to him he responds in a very condescending way. He reads directly from slides and texbook and never knows his own information
I thought his 301 class was very easy. He curves all 4 exams and drops the lowest of the four. Attendance is never mandatory as he records every class and uploads it to canvas. He definitely has an attitude/humor that isn't for everyone but overall was a nice professor who wants all of his students to do well.
This is the best marketing professor at UD. Try to take him if you can.
Really nice guy. You don't need to go to his lectures, he gives 10 point curve on every test, the online homework is a lot but it is like the only thing you need to do for the class. Just study for tests and its easy to get an A. He drops the lowest test grade so if you do well on the first 3 you don't have to take the final.
Really chill, laid back guy. Lectures are recorded so no need to go to class but I liked going anyway. He has a lot of advice to give and is definitely worth talking to. Exams are based on class material and textbooks reading -- pretty straightforward. There's also weekly homework, discussion posts, and extra credit. Exams have a solid curve.
I have NEVER written a review for a professor. Literally never. But this is the worst Professor I have ever had. He is cruel, condescending and doesn't care about his students at all. He is aggressive in both emails and in person and not understanding at all. He's rude and only eager to be right. Take anyone else if you can!!!
Take anyone else. The professor does not care about anything because he's eager to retire. He's hateful honestly, that's the best word to describe him. I don't think he cares if you fail or not because he's no longer interested in teachi,ng as he's said in class multiple times.
class is optional as lectures are recorded. Exams are at the testing center, they are a little difficult so make sure you study not just the words he tells you but all the notes from the semester. Assignments are easy and hw
