Awesome professor! VERY cool guy. Easy going, and as long as you listen in class there's no way you can fail the tests or class.

Awsome guy. Two tests and project. Tests were essay test but he gave you a study guide, and questions were exactly the ones on the guide. Super nice guy on top of all that, more than willing to go out of his way to help you. Fight people to get in his class if you have to, its worth it.

Great prof! Took Psych History and System and Perception. Powerpoint lectures that are available online with all the bells and whistles, two tests with study guides, three "mini-reports", and one group project. Nice guy, too.

I took Berg for Experimental Psych and Organizational Psych. He is by far the best teacher i have taken at stockton. For WHATEVER class you could get with him TAKE HIM....TRUST ME! Awesome personality too.

Group project 25% of grade, easy. grades easily. Would not recommend taking 830am class, will fall asleep. Always answers questions. Answers emails. Hes great!

Best psych professor in stockton. Easy going, very knowledable, really cool guy overall. Course material matches personality, very lax and easy yet you always learn something new and learn it effectively with him. Do not leave stockton without taking at least one of his courses.

Mark is a great professor, I took him for Perception. Although, he is not the easiest, he really challenges you to perform at your best. Mini Reports/Final Report and a midterm/final which are pretty easy if you pay attention. He posts blogs online and gets you engaging in the class, perceptionsense.com. Take Him! He is great

Perception was a dry class. More physiology than psychology but the class was informative. the Power Points were long and boring but honestly I learned a lot about the subject. The tests were kind of difficult but i got a good grade by studying the Power Points slides which he puts on line. Never bought the book---it was crazy expensive.

I took professor Berg for experimental and motivation. He uses short video clips to better explain the course material, which I really liked. For motivation we had two tests online. For experiemental we had to do one experiment which was conducted during our class time. Also, for experimental there was four easy critique papers and two exams.

If you have to take such a tough class why not take it with someone who will make it super easy for you? The only thing that sucked was how boring his classes were. He himself is funny but his classes are boring and seem so long but you can skate threw

I have had him for 3 courses and they are all similar. If you show up and watch the power-point You will do well! Take notes and post on the blog (interesting) and read the posts. Subjects vary for interesting or boring--we are all different. He is helpful, easy going and it is easy to get an A--if you want.! He does not take attendance-up 2 u

He is very smart. Not very personable, almost seems shy. Very, very easy though, if you do the work you're assigned. Article quizzes are easy, the research paper is done in parts, & the 3 quizzes are hard but he is SO fair and curves so you pass. Take him for experimental if you want to learn the material. He does forget things a lot though.

Absolutely love him! He cares more about you listening to him instead of cramming info at you that you will forget after you take a test. Really genuine guy and one of the only professors that really helped me retain information after his class was over. Not bad to look at either.

Mark is an awesome professor. Experimental psych is fairly easy, just show up and do the work and you'll do well. His class is also really interesting - I had it at 8:30 and didn't mind waking up early to go. Plus he hardly ever has class on Friday. He's very interesting and super nice. I'll be taking more classes with him

Extremely easy, but dont really learn anything. Book is not needed until the end. 1 poster project, 3 easy critque papers, midterm, and final. I would take if you want easy and dont really need to know how to conduct research/experiments. Attendance not manadatory.

Mark Berg is a great professor but it was a shame to see just how EASY this class actually was. I barely did any work for this class and still passed with an A. If you need an easy throw class, Pseudoscience and the Paranormal is your best bet.

So. Frikan. Easy. You show up to class for 2o minutes, fill out a little paper so he knows you were there then leave. This class was originally Tuesday and Thursdays but only had to go Thursdays. There is one final group project but its very simple and doesn't take long. Easy A and definitely a GPA booster hes funny and young, take him if you can !

I took Berg for Pseudoscience and it was the easiest class. It was a Tues & Thurs but we only went on Thursdays. There is a group project on a book that no one reads which requires two meetings with him on Tuesdays that last less then 10 minutes. The midterm and final are online at home and you can miss two classes. I highly recommend this class

I agree with many people on here. Mark is amazing he is very chill and Layed back. If its a three times a week class hell make it two days a week. No hw. Test questions given before hand and/or online to complete. Honestly so happy to have taken him before I graduated. GPA booster to the max

Will be one of your favorites. His class is completely relaxed, but you still learn a lot. He always makes his MWF classes just WF. He's just a really nice guy. Everyone loves him. I took him twice before, and I just registered for 2 more. I hate history and he made history of psych interesting. Participate in class if you want to see him smile.

I took his experimental Psychology Class. He is very laid back and relaxed. He has a mid term, final and 3 papers. The exams are relatively easy if you study. The papers are not very difficult as well, just do the work and you will do fine.

Dr. Berg is the best, I took him for my freshman seminar and it was the easiest class ever. He is super funny and overall a laid back professor. There isn't much homework. Just one chapter every week and one quiz per week that relate to the chapter assigned. I would definitely take him again.

Very chill! I had him this semester for three courses and his classes are all pretty much structured the same. Met twice a week, 1 for lecture and the other to work on group reading. Super easy!

Super chill professor! He's so funny and really wants his students to succeed. You definitely need to read in order to do well on exams. The group projects are fun and interesting. I took him Psychology of Learning and Perception and I loved both classes!

Tuesdays are lectures about very interesting supernatural topics and debunking them. After the lecture we Answer 4 questions about it and turn it in. Thursdays are group meet day where your group fills out a worksheet based on the book. Other than that there is a midterm, final, and book project. No homework, very easy, and very cool professor.

Professor Berg is amazing and hilarious. His lectures are always super interesting. There's no homework, most things are done during class. He always lets everyone out early. There's a group book project at the end of the semester that will be your biggest grade but it's so easy. Would definitely love to have him as a prof again.

Berg is a solid choice for a professor for an easy A. I took his Pseudoscience and the Paranormal class and loved the topic and loved the way he taught it. Only had a midterm and final for exams which were open note. His lectures are very interesting yet he is very hard to reach and did not respond to any of my emails.

One quiz per chapter (15). Very easy class. I had asynchronous and wasn't exactly sure about what he expected from the students, but just take the quizzes and exams and you will pass. One poster project @ end of semester (individual if you're asynchronous, group for sync/in person) on movies related to senses. That was kind of vague but fine.

Psuedo and paranormal. Online sync. Same schedule every week, decently easy and interesting. Lots of reading so sign up for an interesting book. Funny guy. Midterm was easy and final is supposed to be the same. No tests or quizzes. Be ready to participate in book group, but its easy. Good GSS course. One of stockton's only lectures

For this course it was online. He had 3 papers and a midterm and final. you need to get the book to do the case study. Other than that super easy class, doesnt make you turn on camera or microphone very easy going professor who is also very understanding

Professor Berg is an easy-going, down to earth, and funny guy. Overall, this class was enjoyable and I actually learned a lot. We did have two novel-like books to read, but they were great to read! His lectures are informative yet quick. 10/10 recommend this professor and course.

DEFINITELY recommend this professor. He was super hilarious and managed to keep things interesting. He's a very easy grader, and both the midterm and the final paper are open note. As long as you complete the assignments, you'll almost definitely pass. A very easy A!

Mark is honestly a really great professor, I had him for Pseudoscience and the Paranormal and its a really fun and easy class. You do have a few group assignments but theyre pretty easy and the only reading is one book of your choosing. I highly recommend this class for anyone looking for a GSS

I currently have him for Critical thinking and reading. Mid term and final are taken at home. If you put they effort in you will do very well. His lectures were interesting and included participation and videos. I loved this class!! The best teacher I have had so far and probably within my entire college career.

Highly recommend taking! Weekly quizzes, all open note, and midterm and final also open note. Although there is a lot of content in the class, he helps you understand it through cool and engaging illusions and examples. PPTs for every chapter available online. Overall, a really cool professor who wants to see you succeed and a fascinating class.

Had him last sem for 2 classes, I highly recommend Dr. Berg. He is knowledgeable and passionate about what he teaches. He made class a lot of fun and I always learned a lot. He does a lot of power points but they include videos, photos, examples for you to think about. I miss having his classes!

Dr. Berg was a super great professor, super nice and helpful. I was in his pseudo class and its a super interesting and fun class. Very few assignments and attendance isn't mandatory but he does do reflection sheets that are graded after each lecture.

Only complaint is that his sylabus isn't always accurate, but it didnt matter too much bc he's an easy grader. His Pseudoscience & the Paranormal class was by far amazing, lectures were straight to the point and always fun. Book project was due at the end of the semester and was extremely easy, loved this class.

There was only about 6 assignments for the semester: 2 tests, 1 book report and 3 posts to the class blog. The test questions are based on his PowerPoint slides, the book report is only two paragraphs long and each blog post only has to be a paragraph. Some of the class material is general knowledge but interesting class! Easy A!

Chill professor. Midterm, final & weekly quizzes open note/internet. Book club project: you choose a book and make a poster w a group. You also do rat labs, which really makes this class worth taking: You observe it being rewarded for behavior and challenge its reinforcement schedule towards the end.Overall Berg wants to see you succeed & fun class

Class consists of weekly chapter quizzes online, a midterm, a final, lab reports, and a final book group poster. Overall a really fun class and fun professor, lectures are really interesting and you learn a lot. Easy class if you just show up. Definitely recommend.

Literally the best and easiest class ever. You can do all your work online and not show up to class and be fine as long as you turn it in when its due.

Honestly such an easy class, we had a midterm and final (which he gives the questions for ahead of time). The syllabus had more than 2 critique papers however we did not get to do all of them (easy, they were either pass or fail). The last thing we had was a group final project on a topic of our choice. I enjoyed taking this class.

I loved this class. He was very simple from day 1 on what we would be doing and how the class is going to go. This is the easiest class I've taken so far and I'm glad to have taken it. 10/10!

Easy class about critical thinking. Still choosing to believe in the Jersey Devil though. Short answer responses to the lecture each Tues. and book report review each Thurs. At the end of the semester, you do a poster related to the book you read with your group. Super easy class and an interesting topic.

Berg is an awesome professor. He takes your home life into consideration. He doesn't grade hard and gives you chances to make it up. Had him 3 times now and plan on taking more of his classes.

Very easy course. He only keeps you for 30 mins to an hour and its discussion boards. The midterm and final are take home online.

pretty easygoing guy, class is not difficult at all, there are only a few critique papers, a group poster project, and a straightforward midterm and final. doesn't keep the class beyond the time he needs to teach. he's also very patient with the class, more so than i would be lol

I LOVED Berg, I had no issues at all with him all semester, lectures on tuesdays, book groups on thursdays, lecture days there were in class quizzes based on textbook chapters, but you could get away without reading the textbook, final was online at home, nothing bad to say about him he was so sweet
