Every lecture is pretty similar. He draws a supply and demand graph and a bullet list of main points, and then jumps around to random sections of the chapter leaving the class confused. If he would use the chapter PP slides to stay on track and engage the class with questions i think you would see some results there. Nice guy, just unorganized.

Great teacher! He does a great job of providing the tools necessary to do well in his class. One must make time to carefully go over the material until the concepts start to make sense. Time-consuming class, however, the knowledge gained is well worth understanding and Mr. Blaisdell does a great job of facilitating one along the process!!!

Both the econ classes he teaches are ridiculous. You read the textbook and have no idea what you're even reading. You read his lecture notes and they make a little more sense but help you in no way when trying to do the homework. You have no examples for the homework and the questions are not even related to the textbook. Tests are really hard!

It really doesn't matter what Professor Blaisdell is like if you're taking his all online class, because you will be taught quite entirely by a Cengage textbook! Tests and exams are multiple-choice, can be a little tricky but mostly fine. Readings are SUPER dense, make sure you pay attention. Be very thorough on discussion posts, he does read them.

There aren't very many grades in this class so your grade can slip relatively easily. There are weekly discussions (10 points), chapter quizzes (12-16 points), and 2 unit exams (100 points each) that make up your grade. Your homework is worth 100 points and it's whatever grade percentage you get in Cengage on your homework (94%=94/100 points).
