Eh. Not very clear on what he wants from his students. He was tolerable since there were only several students in the class and he was very lax on us. But helpful enough.
He is a funny guy. not very clear... but gives really good help to papers randomly in class

Cool guy, interesting class. I don't know why people say he isn't helpful. He was very helpful, quick to give feedback and respond to emails.
He was unclear about what he wanted from students initially, but gave some feedback on presentations.
He's Ok. Funny, but boring. He doesn't write out notes or give handouts, just verbal. You have to take good notes or else. No papers to study for midterms or finals. And he skips over a lot of stuff in the book that are tested. Bring candy or juice to this class.
He is a good guy. he knows his stuff.. If you do the readings(which isn't a lot) then you will be able to participate in class and make it that much better!

he gives you all the answers before the midterm....class a little boring but he's a good guy
Not a hard class, but very boring. Except he can be funny at times.
Great Guy/ Professor. Very informative and laid back class. Defintely take honors course as it is easy and fun. Enjoy!
The topic was interesting but he was boring. He would show websites of organization and start reading from them or he would show very boring old tapes from some other school on different organizations. The workload isn't bad and the grading is fair.
Boring, and he is one of the most egotistical people I have ever met.
This class is all lecture. Very boring so bring caffeine. He has a dry sense of humor, seems nice though. There is a paper due, a presentation, and participation. To get a good grade you need to participate. Don't waste time reading the chapters. Just take good notes; it will help you write paper.
This guy has problems. He has the worst jokes, and the worst part is that he thinks he's funny. His classes are boring...and he has an attitude problem. He flipped out at one of my classmates for NO REASON making a big scene. Dont take unless you need to.
you HAVE to show up to class and you must participate. if you participate a lot he will respect you and it will pay off- trust me.
Fair if you participate and are not punky..no homework, just three papers and a presentation..easy b-b+ if you attend
his attitude sucked. he would help at times. the class was boring.
Its all lecture classes. Not very helpful. Easy grader extremely, and just show up and definitely participate.
nice guy, knows his stuff. He can be a bit arrogant, and what's up with those nipples?
Nice guy, really chill professor if you don't screw up... easy tests with full previous reviews (never miss one!!!)...
a lot of people think he has a dry sense of humor but all in all he's a great guy, i personally think he's funny. This class is all lecture, a little boring, the tests are very easy as long as you attend his review sessions. He's a cool guy.
this guy is awesome
Blodgett is the man!! Extremely easy grader. All you have to do is show up and you'll basically get an A. Would definitely take him if I could again.
Easy "A" but the guy is a joke. The epitome of "those who can't do, teach". $300 of textbooks barely referred to. Take if you want an easy class but don't expect to get anything out of it.

The comments about how he's a joke are false. He's a an accomplished, published international attorney that also happens to be laid back. All these kids expect teachers to spoon feed them knowledge instead of trying to learn it on their own. He's definitely an easy grader, and there's no reason why anyone shouldn't get an A. Take him.
A very accomplished, well rounded and intelligent professor. He is extremely laid back, but gets the class involved in lively discussions. Would certainly recommend.
You will learn nothing form class.
Don't take his class. He just give you a grade based on his feeling.
Just took him for Freshman Year Experience. He made us go to class when he himself didn't show up though. He's very very lax. He's a nice guy though from my SU experience.
I have never met a professor who cared as little about his class as Blodgett. He is very forgetful and assigns grades based upon how he thinks you did, despite the fact that he couldn't remember one name in my class.
He is extremely laid back, classes basically involve lectures and videos. He gives you all the answers to test, no matter how hard you try in the class he grades you depending on how he feels. Its a waste of time and money, you wont learn ANYTHING. I would strongly recommend not to take his class.
Super boring class but he makes some funny jokes about random things. Make sure to bring your laptop to class. Not a lot of work. The two tests are short and easy. I'd recommend him for Globalization.
DONT BUY THE TEXTBOOK FOR BLE317! We didn't use it. We used the Nexus Library tool for the cases and he gave us handouts and posted material on blackboard when needed. Saved all of us so much money. He's a pretty laid back guy and but knows his stuff. Very helpful and he kept the course fun/entertaining. One of the best professors by far.Thank you!
easy teacher All homework is online minus the group presentations gets a little boring after awhile but he can throw some jokes in there
Good guy, helpful, interesting, good teacher.
This man tries to be funny, but he is a joke himself. He will be nice to you but then he will give you a grade based on what he feels for you which might turn out surprising. A snake like this fits JD culture I suppose, but he shouldn't be teaching for sure when he cancels class all the time.
Take him for globalization!!! Super duper easy. Don't even have to show up. 2 easy MC tests all semester he basically gives you the answer class before. Rest of time you work of the time you work on your presentation. Do NOT BUY THE BOOK!! He never uses it. O yea no HW ever
Professor Blodgett is a pretty dry teacher. Lectures are pretty long. Although there are no tests, he does not grade the 2 papers of the semester fairly. Astonished that he said "do not contact me about grades" best thing about the class is he doesn't ever take attendance.
He just talks about random stuff. Learn Smart Connect and is basically where your grade comes from. You have one test. You have a group presentation in front of executives which basically decides your grade for the class.
Just take him, he's super nice and an easy grader !
very cool guy. doesnt drown you with work. couple tests with whole class reviews prior. there is a big project and paper but follow the rubric and you will get a good grade. doesnt do a whole lot of book work. teaches what he thinks is important. shows good informative videos. take him, do the work get an A no problem
Great professor overall. Mayor assignments where two case studies and a final case. would definitely take again.
Professor Blodgett is such a great teacher. I took him for ENT and enjoyed being in his class so much I took him again. He really wants all his students to do great in his courses. He prepares everyone really good for tests and group projects. He is very nice, hilarious, and helpful. Be prepared to laugh hysterically at all his jokes.
Prof Blodgett stepped in last minute in spite of our older professor being on med. leave. For the chaos that ensued, Prof Blodgett organized the class incredibly was specific and let students be creative in their findings. Do the work and go to class he is a solid prof. People that complain, usually are the ones who don't participate.
Blodget is a great choice for all BLE 215. Unless he notices half the class is missing, he very rarely takes attendance and the work is not hard at all! All you do is read chapter cases in the book in class and talk about them. 3 exams total and he'll review the whole test the class before so make sure to listen what he says. Overall, easy A.
Blodgett is a character, but a good professor. His humor tends to be dry but because it is, it's funnier. His lectures can sometimes be dry as well, but the case studies make it more interesting to engage in. Blodgett is very laid back and is an easy grader. Tells you everything that's going to be on the test and what he is looking for. Take him!
The best... easy, great, funny, chill, reasonable. Take his class.
Don't even buy the book for this class, all it will do is confuse you. The things he talks about in class have nothing to do with the reading and be prepared to teach yourself. All he tells you to do is google things and use wikipedia when preparing for tests. The only day you need to be there for is review sessions. Everything you learn is online.
Uses a lot of trick questions in exams and loves the sound of his own voice. When stuck listening to ethics for a three hour class, a little participation and activity goes a long way but he was almost annoyed anytime anyone tried to contribute to the class.
Very boring because all he does is talk and talk. He graded based on tests/exams. Rarely any homework but he does give an extra credit project at the end of the semester. The class is easy just make sure to study. You better get the textbook because it is used 99.9% of the time.
Straightforward with class content, doesn't stretch the time unnecessarily. Exam reviews are concise, study whatever he mentions and you'll do well. His style is sort of an acquired taste as one can see from the range of reviews; eclectic in his own way but nothing bad or majorly discomforting. Participate and you'll do great in his class!
Blodgett is an excellent professor! I had him last semester and this one. It's lecture heavy, but you don't need to know what he's saying. He goes over what's going to be on the test the class before, and that is the only thing you need to pay attention to.
Professor Blodgett is a nice man - very respectful and friendly towards the students. For the class I took with him, we did not have a textbook, rather we all came in and discussed the days topic - whatever it happened to be. It was a good class!
He is a really chill professor, just don't make him repeat things. I feel like you could be absent most of the time, just show up the class before tests. He will give you the answers to the test, in the class prior.
Really good professor and an easy A. He's a bit lecture heavy but he'll tell you everything that needs to be on the test, and that's all that really matters.
Blodgett is the most boring professor I have ever had. Puts me to sleep. Easy class, because it was just SBS 101, but for real I would never take again.
There's not much work in the class. Try to pay attention to the lectures and participate. It was a pretty easy class.
Genuinely hard to fail his course. Only like two or three assignments all year, and does not take attendance. Showed up maybe 6 times all year.
Very easy professor. Long, boring lectures but he can be funny
This class was an easy A, but put me to sleep. Blodgett was one of the most boring professors I had ever had, but he made the TA do basically everything and she was much more fun and engaging. If I had the chance I would not take him again just because that class was such a drag I literally wanted to fall asleep every time. Easy. But boring.
Clear about grading. 25% each for participation, group project, test #1, test #2. Realy straightforward. Goes over test the class before. Class is mostly discussions - participate, he notices, and it helps. I've heard there's a free older pdf version of textbook sections online.
Prof. Blodgett is an absolute Stud. Funny, intelligent guy. Great lectures, its worth reading the chapter so you can contribute.
he was great, he makes a lot of jokes all the time
He's a decent guy overall. I wouldn't recommend once a week classes. The lectures can get kind of boring. He tries to make things easy. As long as you show up you'll pass.
Just participate and show up to class! This professor sets you up to succeed and get a good grade.
Show up, do the work, and participate once in a while and you'll pass it easy.
The GOAT. Literally do nothing, at all, half of the class is him showing youtube videos he finds interesting. Likes to talk about Walmart. Super funny guy if you listen to him, he's very monotone so I get why people fall asleep. Easiest A ever.
Everyone says his classes are easy to pass, which I agree with, but that's because he's a great teacher that doesn't want his students to fail. Don't take advantage of his flexibility, especially since he does recognize those that show up and participate. If you do the work, you're golden. For BLE325 he assigned 3 group presentations.
GOATED! He might be monotone, but he always finds a way to make his lectures interesting! He sends no homework EVER, assignments are easy, soft grader, makes plenty of relevant funny jokes, doesn't stick to the syllabus instead he just goes with his own flow. Take this class but don't buy the textbook, sit near the front, and be ready for groupwork
Easiest A ever. Take your classes with him!!!
Great guy
Didn't give much filler work only 2 tests, and 2 group presentations and the final was a 2000-word paper. Easy class with a funny professor.
Thought the class will be challenging at first, but it was the opposite. Two in-class exams, three presentations, and showing class for participation will surely give you a decent grade!
At times taught well but just never really projected the material. Was sometimes rude to students who asked questions and couldn't control the classroom. He makes you keep the same groups all year, so if you have a bad group ask to switch. I had a bad group, and was evidently the only one who knew what the content was about and he didn't care.
You only have 2 tests, so study for them. Try to get a good group for the final because you'll have to write a paper. He is very helpful when it comes to the final paper and gives feedback. He also lists out all the topics that will be on the 2 tests. Overall, show up, study for the tests, and pick a good group.
Great person and it's reflected in the course. 2 tests and 3 group presentations all year. He provides all the material on the test the class before. Groups stay the same all year, and you write a group paper. If you show up, take notes, and do your group work, you'll be just fine.
2 tests and 3 group presentations with the same group. Classes are spent just listening to lectures. Definitely recommend taking classes with him as they are not difficult at all. Classes prior to exams are spent reviewing everything you'll need to know. Can be a little boring at times, but worth it in the end. Show up and study, you'll be fine
Took attendance every class. Never got out later than 6:30 for a 5-730 class. 3 really simple presentations and a simple final one (all with same group). Midterm and final are all true/false and he literally writes down and explains everything that will be on it. Basically impossible to fail.
Great professor, only 5 graded assignments (2 tests and 3 projects) in the class. He can be monotone at times but is also pretty funny. Pay attention and contribute to group projects and you'll be set
Show up and participate and easy class
I do not have anything good to say here. Class is lecture based, but he's impossible to follow. His canvas is useless and he doesn't post material or follow his own syllabus. Gets frustrated/ disrespectful when asked questions and makes no effort to get to know or show care for students. Changes requirements as he pleases, and grades based on mood
He's funny, overall, very easy class, very chill, lets you leave early almost every time! Super easy grader. Would recommend 100%.
