Quite possibly the worst professor I have ever had. Nice guy; bad teacher. Participation is forced, but does not really add to the learning experience. Prof needs to learn that the class is not about him, but rather the material. Too much class time spent on impressing him as opposed to learning material. Definitely has favorites. Too bad.

This class revolves around case study method. Professor encourages students to think critically and SPEAK OUT in class - good skills to hone prior to graduation ... as one is not graded on his/her multiple-choice test-taking skills in the real world.

Reading assignments too academic-limited practical use. Talked alot about CRMs, ERPs without details on useage. Majority of time spent in discussions intended to develop critical thinking - actually mostly repetitious responses that added little value. Prof more interested in provoking debate than reinforcing major subjects. Does have favorites.

You get sick of hearing students argue with eachother for participation credit!

This has been one of my favorite, most intriguing, and applicable courses in my entire college education. Dr. Chun prepares great topics to get the class engaged and really wants the class to succeed and get involved in class discussions. While at times he challenges his students, I think everyone would benefit from taking any of his classes.

Great professor, if everyone reads the assigned readings and is ready to participate as my class did the class goes very smoothly. Mark gives great feedback to points brought up in class and makes you think. Very caring and a super nice guy. My favorite professor in my college/grad career.

AVOID! It's a disgrace that pepperdine can have such a teacher teaching. His class makes no sense. 1/3 of the people need to RETAKE this class every year!

SAD!!! Advice conditionally students do not choose his course, not only lots of homework requirements, do not do well, there is no good grades, spend time there is no good grades. He even has his own failing KPI, every class must fail 1/3, are you ready?

As many other students have warned, avoid taking this professor at all costs! He prides himself in failing students in his class and plays favorites, particularly towards those that are also Asian/Hawaiian. I don't understand why he's a graduate professor at such a school like Pepperdine! I got an A and the most I learned is how to play with Legos.

Not a great experience. The course lacked depth and grading felt inconsistent. Some students seemed to receive preferential treatment. Activities didn't match the level expected from a graduate program. I'd recommend exploring other instructors if possible.
