AWESOME PROFESSOR! I am surprised that he only has one review. He is really easy and you learn a lot too. Tells you exactly whats on the test, and you get out early. His class is so stress-free. His online quizzes requires the textbook so you will need it but overall his class is very easy and to the point. Take him, you won't regret it!

Professor Clementz is the best you can take for Micro lab. He teaches you what you need to know, class never lasts long than 45 mins to a hour. There is a blackboard quiz you need to complete before every class. All the power points are also on blackboard for you to print out before class to take notes on.

I thought this class was fun because we had a quick little experiment every class that we weren't graded on, and then we could go home right after. You can't miss any of his classes or show up late because he takes a lot points from your grade. Quizzes are open book, tests are common sense. laid back professor/classroom environment. Recommend.

Professor. Clementz is firm, but fair. He doesn't give any HM except for quizzes online that are very easy. His tests are difficult but easy to pass if you study from his lecture and course notes. You won't regret taking him!!

Very nice guy. Class was usually short. We come in he lectures and tells us exactly what the lab is and that's it. Quizzes were online. You have to study for the midterm and final though but he reviews them thoroughly. Go to class and don't be late because he deduct points but give you extra credit for attendance.

He puts all his powerpoint on blackboard and as you go through them he tells you what slides will be on the test. He also drops your lowest test score and gives you 10 extra credit points if the whole class does the class evaluation at the end of the semester. Also there is no midterm or final it is just 6 test on the chapters that you go over

FANTASTIC professor. He makes difficult concepts easy to understand, and I really enjoyed his class. Don't buy the textbook, you won't use it. Dr. Clementz is awesome! Really enjoyed both his lecture and lab - you should take him for both! The lab is fairly easy, you just cannot miss any classes or it WILL affect your grade - and you need to study for the midterm and final. His lecture class is easy as well; 6 tests, and he drops your lowest test grade at the end of the semester!

Easy A! MUST ATTEND CLASS and if you pay attention to power points you should pass. Professor gets straight to the point on lecture topics. We completed labs for participation. There are 10 quizzes, a midterm, a final, and a chance for extra credit. Also you do not stay the entire time in class. There is a review before midterm and final.

Professor Clementz provided great lectures with humor to keep you engaged. He is very clear about the content and will take time to review any material that there may be questions on. He's easy to approach and cares that you learn the value of the material by giving real life examples and situations for reference.

This is one of my favorite teachers by far. He knows our attention spans are limited and he keeps it short and sweet. This has to be one of my favorite professor I have ever taken. This has been my 3rd attempt taking this class the first 2 times were at Indian River State college . I could never understand the concept but professor Clementz makes it short and simple. He doesnt mind going over the slides you missed If you come late or didnt understand something.

Great professor! Participation is crucial, if you don't come to class you lose points, you get to do fun lab experiments every class and he only grades on participation. There are online quizzes, however, answers can be found on the notes that he gives you online. Mid-term and final he has an in-depth review to prepare you for them.

Best to ever do it. Wish he taught more subjects. Dont be discouraged by the 1st class he just wants to start off firm. HES AMAZING. he made it fun and interesting. i dont think anyone dropped this class either which says a lot. i wish i took him for lecture too so if you have a chance to take him for both, do it. he makes me want to be a scientist

Couldn't get any easier. He explains and breaks down any questions you have. More than willing to help before, after or outside of class. Every test has a chance for extra credit. Power points are very well organized and clear. Grades tests quick, so you always know where your grade stands.

This was an awesome class, the way he teaches his lectures is awesome and it makes the information stick. His test a fair and everything on the test came from his lecture. In the end he drops the lowest grade.

Honestly I have really enjoyed this class. Very smart man, and for a microbiology class he makes every lecture very understandable. Only grades exams, but if you pay attention he lets you know what to focus on for them and what not to. He is precise and clear while teaching and has kept me interested. Great professor! Took his class in the summer for MCB 2010 and although it is only a month long to learn the material he breaks it down in a format that although you have more exams it gives you ample time to really understand each information studied. Honestly, professors should take note of his teaching method because it really enables learning

I took Prof Clementz class and his teaching is very precise, he teaches you what you really need to know and if you do not understand it, he goes over it until you get it. If you read the materials given after class and take your time to understand the question on the test, then you have no reason to fail. I enjoyed his class and I recommend him!

I took this class over the summer and it was great. No homework or nonsense assignments. Grade was based on our tests and attendance. Lectures are based off of his powerpoints and are clear and concise. Hes well versed in the material and can answer any questions.

Really good professor. I took his class for summer and there is a 30 question test every class but he only scores it out of 25 so you could miss 5 questions and still get a 100. If you pay attention to his lectures he will tell you exactly what you need to know for the tests. He is very willing and flexible to work with you on any issues.

Take him for microbiology hes great .Take him in the summer trust me he is easier . If you take him in the summer your going to have a test every class, but he gives out 5 points extra credit on every test.

This is a good and organized professor. If you take his microbiology class be prepared to show up, listen and pass. Notes are not allowed for quizzes, you need to learn the information that he tells you to learn.

Mark was a great teacher. Took his class for a pre-req and it was my easiest class I've taken in college. just show up for his lecture and go over anything you don't understand and then he dismisses you. easy A highly suggested. there were 5 tests and the 5th one was the final.

Prof Clementz is a very caring and respectable individual. The PowerPoints are very difficult to understand and you will have to put out additional time to rewatch lectures to understand. Great professor, he is very good at simplifying difficult topics. Was a little difficult for me to get used to learning through lecture videos but once I did, the class became much easier and more interesting. Be prepared to study and watch the videos but he is great once you do that!

Fairly easy and straightforward online class. Canvas was super easy to navigate. There are 5 units with 4 chapters each—each chapter has a 50-minute video and a quiz. It's time-consuming and the videos can get boring. Exams use LockDown Browser with webcam/audio (5 exams), but everything else is pretty smooth.

He's super chill and relaxed. His lectures are accessible and easy to follow. Very down-to-earth guy. His exams aren't surprising — the material you study will appear on the test. He's very understanding and offers an extra credit opportunity at the end of the semester, which is the best thing ever. 110% would take him.

I usually don't rate too often, but Dr. Clementz is sincerely one of the best professors I've taken an class with. Everything is so clearly laid out for you to succeed in the class, and his lectures are very engaging. You can tell he cares a lot about his profession and is genuinely interested in the content, which made me enjoy it more. 10/10.
