Dr. Cloud can be very hard, but you will learn a lot in his classes. You definitely need to study!

He really cares about his students' understanding of the information. He also gives great examples in class. He makes you work hard, like any GOOD professor should, and those who don't like him don't apply themselves and blame others for their bad grades.

Unfortunately very intimidating

Dr. Cloud is the freakin coolest teach ever...if you dont like him, it's because you are a bad student and you are taking up space in a seat that others could take advantage of. You can tell he really is passionate about psych!

The exams have so much information on them it's insane. He's alright.

Cloud is one of the nicest professors at LHU. He takes time to answer questions and makes learning interesting. I have learned so much in his class. I'm very happy to have him as my professor.

Dr. Cloud is great. I have Brain & Behavior with him next semester. If you are awake during class it is impossible to not do well on the exams. There are lots of opportunities for xtra credit. An A is definitely obtainable. Do not be intimidated! Appreciate his intellect and enjoy learning from him!

diss him all you like, he's a great teacher. He can be sarcastic and occasionally rude if you are a bad student. However, his class is informative. His summer class is paced faster, but I found it easier. Plus, his daughter is HOT

I think Dr. Cloud is an excellent professor. Aside from his tests being lethal, he's very passionate about what he teaches. If you study and pay attention, you should do well.

I loved the material! Cloud is pretty cool once you get to know him or talk to him outside of class. He has a habit of treating you like you're stupid and don't know as much as him, uh-huh, well we don't now do we?! Still recommend his class since I learned a lot from it.

his first exam is not fun but after you know what he expects it isnt that bad..he is open for questions and is willing to help...the online discussions just confused me so i never did them

Dr. Cloud is extremely intimidating so much so you start putting off other subjects for his because your afraid you wont do well or at least I did. He does help out a lot on online forums and if you try hard you will do very well in the class.

First test is really hard. Then it gets easier. He grades extremely hard on the essay questions so watch out. He does give lots of help with online chats and the Help me forum.

The class is hard, and he really makes you think. (But then again, isn't that what we're here for??) He has a "Help me someone" forum on Ecollege where you can get help 24/7.. and he would go out of his way to help ANYONE, especially if you go to him during office hours! It's hard to fail that class if you take advantage of the offered help.

He was a great teacher and he had alot of examples during class. He gives you a term and concepts list before the test and for the final and their all test questions so, if you do your reading and use his study card method you should do fine. I also had a tutor and that was very helpful. But the class is interesting. I recommend him as a professor.

Dr. Cloud is a man of science but he teaches a fascinating subject matter. He's passionate about the material and gives you all of the information that is necessary to pass his class. All you need to do is keep up with readings and try. He offers his help to any who need it. He can be intimidating but is a great teacher.

the class is easy if you read the assignments and come to class.professor is OK,if u r a blind sheep he's the right guy for u.imposes his ideas which majority of students don't bother to question,very biased.what he thinks is right is 100% right,otherwise it's BS(including Freud).overall not bad.

the guy is not bad,but his hand-outs were pissing me off(completely useless),and his attendance policy is for kindergarten kids,seems like there is nothing more important in your life except for his class.he should learn by now that he's dealing with students.maybe he's just afraid nobody shows up for his class.

At first it can be hard but this class really makes you learn how to study. You really do learn from him. Make sure you go to class, read the book and study. If you do those you should be fine. I've had Dr. Cloud for many classes. He is a tough teacher, but you are better off in the long run taking his class. He teaches the class so that you actually learn the information and can actually remember it long after the class is over with. One of the best psych professors!

I really liked this class, there was alot of work and if you use to note card method it helpes alot, you'll get a good grade.

He is an overall good professor. You have to really study for his class. Some of the material on the test is not what he covers in class, so you have to do your reading. He has a sense of humor and he has ways to help you remember certain things. The study card method really does help you. If you need help he will help you, take him. It's worth it!

I loved this class! Dr. Cloud was one of my favorite professors! He knows his material and his tests aren't too bad if you bother to make the study card and actually study them. And he is willing to help if you are willing to ask for it!

Research Methods was a challenging class, but worth it in the long run. To survive this class, you must GO TO CLASS, study (notecard method never fails!), and participate in class. He has on-line chats the night before all the exams for you to ask him any last minute questions. He's always there to help you, don't be intimidated by him!

My major is Psychology, so obviously I enjoyed this class a lot. I think Dr. Cloud makes the class interesting for everyone, even if you aren't a psychology major. He's very dedicated to making sure his students succeed. There are exams every other Friday, but every night before an exam, he holds a chat on ECollege to answer any questions.

His class was very interesting. DO THE READING!! its annoying, but it really does help you out in the long run. He memorizes everyone so make sure you go to class. And if you do, notes are really easy. Just fill in the blank. But make sure you pay attention. He's good at saying and doing things that help you remember difficult stuff for tests.

If you don't get an A in this class, you're trying to fail. He goes over everything that is on the exams and has a study guide. He gives reading checks that really help your grade if you just take 20 min to read the material. You only have to write 2 critiques and rarely get homework. He is extremely helpful and really likes teaching the class.

Dr. Cloud may come off as arrogant and I did not like him at first. However, he knows what he is talking about if you go to class, read the book,make the study notecards, and work hard on the critques there is no excuse for not getting a good grade. He even takes extra time to make a booklette of notes for students.

He makes his classes a challenge, but they are definitely helpful and passable. He is willing to help out anyone, and can give very good study tips. If you actually want to know what you're talking about when you come out of the class, take him.

Dr. Cloud is VERY arrogant. He piles on work like he believes his class is your only and most important one. But, he knows what he's talking about, and if you can sift through the arrogance, you can learn a lot. The class takes a lot of work, and making his study cards actually does help. Be prepared, but the class overall is manageable.

I think Dr. Cloud is an amazing teacher. He lays everything out for you in a clear and organized manner, goes over things very clearly in lecture with very good examples, and is always willing help if you need it. His classes are not necessarily easy and he does expect your attention and participation but in my opinion every professor should.

Dr. Cloud is a great professor at LHU. I wasn't quite sure if I wanted to take his class because I heard that he was a hard professor. You do need to study for his class but he covers everything in lecture and his notes are very good! He is a very interesting professor as well. I highly recommend Dr. Cloud!

Dr. Cloud is brilliant and an amazing professor. If you do poorly in his classes then you were not paying attention and reading the book. Although he talks above most students understanding, he will explain what he means if you go and talk to him. He cares about his students and the psychology department is very lucky to have him.

His biopsychology class (Brain and Behavior) was what really got me interested in the neuropsychology field. His lectures are very entertaining. You WILL have to study and you have to read the book for the daily quizzes. Other than that, I loved the class

Dr. Cloud was cool if you go to class and put the work in you'll pass. He gives a study guide for each exam, if you use the study guides you're sure to pass. Use his study card method IT WORKS.

Dr. Cloud kind of scared me in the beginning of the semester. He yelled a lot and was intimidating. As the weeks passed, I realized he is actually a very fun guy and if you do all your work you'll get an A. Exams are only 25-30 questions and he gives you a study guide and he does a live chat before the exams. A lot of homework, but it's easy!

One of my favorite professors and he's my advisor! He will respect you if you participate and pay attention. I was able to catch up when I missed class and his homework is easy. He has a tendency to swear, but its tasteful.

Dr. Cloud great professor. He makes lectures interesting and gives you a bunch of examples to relate to the topic. If you don't go to class you won't pass. He gives a moderate amount of work, but nothing outrageous. His exams are kind of difficult. I study really hard for them and still get in the 70's, but he is more than willing to help you.

He honestly is a good professor. He tries to make the class more interesting, gives a lot of examples, willing to help you anytime and wants us to succeed. This is a hard class and you'll have to work for your grade. There is a lot of work online and the tests are hard, but if you keep up with it/study ahead of time, you'll be good! Read the book!!

I had Dr. Cloud for Research Methods. It was a very stressful semester because he is very demanding. That being said, he is very through, providing plenty of examples and a ton of opportunity to practice what we learned in the lectures. I would take him again for a difficult class that I need to be sure to pass for my degree.
