He is not an instructor. Anyone who has had him knows that he has no clue what he is doing in a classroom environment. His Aviation Career class about had a mutiny halfway through the semester and he acted like a child when people confronted him. Shame on the University for sticking with him.

He is self taught on most of the useless information he has memorized. He has 105min lectures where he copies and pastes full paragraphs out of the textbook into a power point, that he just reads word for word. Also massive workload of 70+ question online discussions every week. He is otherwise a friendly guy, but deducts points for petty reasons.

The guy puts no effort in teaching, and the students on their computers/phones show that. He reads word for word from the textbook. He docks points and gives no explanation why. Get ready for thoughts of dropping out of college. This guy cannot take feedback, is the worst lecturer ever, and assigns so much homework you'll drop ums. After ISU hired professor Collins, there is no value to the UMS program. It is literally not worth your tuition money to sit in his courses. He is not knowledgeable, he does not know how to run a class, and is extremely inconsistent with grading. Definitely a bookwork-heavy class. He tends to nit-pick on assignments. He gives half credit if your responses aren't in a word document. Takes off points if you dont cite even if you refrence something you learned in class (not from the book/other). He was genuinely passionate though, and really did show his care for student success. Loved to fly.
