Dr. Condon is a great professor! He gives out lecture outlines and is very easy to follow in class. His labs are very relaxed and tests are straight-forward, just be sure to study. Overall, he's the best professor I've had in my academic career so far and a helpful advisor.

Dr. Condon is by far the best teacher I have ever had. I've taken him for two science courses and got an A in both. He makes the material very clear and teaches what you really need to know. Dr. Condon makes intricate concepts and facts easy and memorable with his bright personality and innovative teaching excercises. You don't have to be interested in his class to do well; you just have to listen and take notes. If you have those basic skills down, his classes are not only fun and intriguing but inspiring and motivating as well.

One of the best teachers I have ever had. He makes the class fun, interesting, and is a masterful teacher. He should be teaching at an Ivy league university, and not some community college. If you have to take any classes that he teaches, make sure to take the class with him.

Such a great teacher, really clear but also really funny. His exams are pretty simple if you study. He writes a lab manual and complete lecture outline where you take notes so everything is broken down really nicely and it makes studying a lot easier than going through a textbook. Love his class, I plan on taking BIO102 with him next.

He's the BEST. His genetics class is almost fun. Relevant videos. Interesting labs. He really gets excited about stuff in the most nerdy, dorky, and adorable ways... :-D

I love this guy. He teaches so that the students understand what he is talking about. The breaks down the difficult concepts so they are understandable. He also teaches deeper than he tests so that when you get to the test you understand the concept and not just trying to memorize things for a test that you will only understand for his class.

Such an amazing teacher. I would certainly recommend him to anyone who is doing biology for the first time. Attendance to lecture is not required- but strongly recommended. Attendance to lab is required. No homework- hard tests, but if you study the notes you will be fine. Pay attention to sidenotes he gives!

Extremely smart and gives real life examples to help students understand the material. His tests are pretty hard but he gives you EVERYTHING you need to study in order to do well on the tests. No homework. Very fair; gives 5 extra points on exams that he fails to hand back within a week (happened a few times) Would definitely recommend to anyone!

After a string of hard to understand teachers I gave up on science, which I love and left college for 20 years. I decided to give it another try and his method of teaching makes science fun and interesting again. He makes things easier to understand and his lectures and labs are always interesting and relate to the real world.

out of all the biology teachers at dutchess, condon is the best. he knows exactly how to teach a class. he kept his lectures funny and interesting. he explained things perfectly. i highly recommend if you take biology 105 or 106 take it with condon you wont regret it.

Best biology professor I've had at any level! Clear teaching style, takes the time to really explain the lessons, makes sure there is enough time to go over lectureslabs. Uses a lot of analogies to get a point across which was VERY helpful. Studying for this class is a MUST. Recommend a voice recorder, says random things in class that are on tests

Oh my goodness... take Dr. Condon! I have had him for both 105 and 106, and I am glad that I did. He is my absolute favorite professor here at DCC! But don't think that his class is going to be easy. If you are dedicated to biology and willing to put in the effort, this class will teach you so much more than what is on the syllabus!

I had him for both BIO 105 and BIO 106 and it wasn't easy but you knew your stuff when you finished. He is very clear and makes the material interesting. I wish other professors were this interesting.

Take Dr. Condon he is the best!! I took him for Bio 105, and I truly think he's the reason I decided I loved biology, his lectures are really great I still remember the Krebs cycle bc of his lecture on it. I wanted him for 106 but instead I had Elizabeth a terrible prof in comparison. Ended up taking Bio 107 with him too and loved it again!!

I suggest listening carefully to his lectures, he's very helpful if you ask for help. Don't be afraid to ask questions. He is an amazing professor and you'll get an A if you try for it.

Dr. Condon is a great professor, but was not conducive to my learning style. If you are the kind of student that perfers to get the gist of the topic in lecture and learn it throughly outside of class I would steer clear. If you rely on lecture notes, this is your class. If anything Dr. Condon taught me good notes are important.

Condon is one of the better Bio teachers however, his tests are hard. He has no notes online, all his lectures are written on a whiteboard. Notes get very messy. Sometimes skips around making it harder to understand his lectures. He said study all tests for the final and you'll be fine, not quite the case.

Condon was the only truly inspiring professor I have had during my time in Dutchess. He explains why things happen! His tests are hard, however, I found the time I studied for them to be rewarding as I still remember the things I learned. To those whine that he is a bad prof: you are in college, time to grow up and start doing some hard work.

His course isn't east by far, but biology is a hard subject in general. He totally makes learning fun! Love that he doesn't give Extra Cred, goal is to learn, not pretend!!

Condon confirmed my love for Biology. I always looked forward to his lectures and he doesn't believe in powerpoints. You have to buy a binder of "notes" that have fill-in-the-blanks, but most of the information is already typed out. It saved a lot of class time, because people could listen to him, rather than focus on writing things down aimlessly.

Condon is a great professor. He gives you the lecture outline with all the notes in the beginning of the semester and follows it exactly. His tests follow exactly what he teaches and he basically gives you the answer in class, you just have to study. Hes really nice and fun !! 100% recommend him

Dr. Condon is probably the best biology teacher at DCC. His class requires a lot of studying, but if you pay attention to his lectures, all the answers are right there. I will never forget his lecture on cell metabolism. If you're willing to study and read, you will do fine.

Phenomenal teacher --- multiple choice lecture tests and he doesn't need to use a powerpoint in order to explain the materials superbly well. Personally --- he is funny and social, however, he teaches many students so he will probably forget your name after the course is over unless you talked to him during his office hours/out of class.

Dr. Condon is fair, kind, and wicked smart. Pay attention to his lectures since all test material is from his lectures. He speaks quickly and expects a lot from his students. He tries to make sure that students understand the deep, underlying concepts and themes that enable life to exist. If you can't keep with his pace, it will be hard

Wonderful person easy to talk to and very understanding. Goes above and beyond to help his students understand the subject he is teaching. Will make his own models of a process to help you remeber it. Office hours are a plus and you should really take advange of them to go over your tests. Personally I didn't use the textbook but I did go to class.

He is a really nice person and is very accommodating if you have accommodations. If you have questions he is always willing to help explain them. Write down what he writes in the lecture outline and study it because most of the time that's exactly what is on the tests. Overall, great teacher if you like biology.

Dr. Condon was an amazing bio105 professor. I took this course during the pandemic entirely online so there was no in person lecture. He recorded detailed videos for each topic and I felt like I had a very good understanding of everything we covered. For zoom meetings he went over anything we needed and the tests/quizzes were very straightforward.

Dr. Condon is one of the best professor's I've had. The subject matter was challenging, but he was happy to answer questions and holds office hours. He makes his own teaching material with helpful analogies to teach difficult bio concepts. If you want to learn about Biology on a deep level, he is a great professor to take this course with!

Three assignments over the semester, all not too bad. Condon is very good at helping you achieve your goals, and I would definitely utilize his office hours.

Condon has a real passion for his subject. He is accessible during office hours and is great at giving in-depth explanations as well as giving simple answers when needed. He gives you tips to help you remember the material, and teaches the lesson in a way that students can understand. The lecture outline book he created for students was also very helpful.

Great professor, knows what he's talking about. His tests are incredibly hard, great at explaining the material, goes into detail. If you ever need help, he is always down to see you during his office hours. One time I couldn't attend his office hours because of work and needed his help. He held a private Zoom office hour, which fit my schedule.

Condon's class is challenging but rewarding. His teaching style may not suit everyone, but he's passionate and willing to help. Utilize his office hours and consider using Unstuckstudy for study prep - it really helped me stay on top of the material.

Very kind teacher and will help you with anything you need. He truly loves teaching and wants everyone to understand. The only thing is there is no extra credit so do well on assignments but that's it. With all the help he gives, extra credit is only needed if you didn't do the work to begin with.

Not bad. Questions can be fairly tricky on exams. Make sure to study-mainly-his books and you'll be set to get a good grade. His ways of teaching weren't for me, as he can be quick and will get straight to the point. Make sure to go to his office hours if you're extremely confused. Quizzes can help your grade, theyre every week or every other week
