Dr. Corson rocks! While he expects a lot out of his students, he also gives them the tools to learn it. Too many teachers don't have high expectations anymore. When he gets back, his classes (Political/Middle East) are going to be must-takes!

Dr. Corson is the coolest professor here! He RULES! If you're wanting to take any intro classes, hold out until he gets back...it's worth it. He's tough, but helps you anyway he can. You have to earn your grade in his classes. He rules!

Middle East was such a good class. I would recommend this class/professor to anyone. As he's in the Middle East right now, his perspective on the sitch should be fresh and intuitive. He's our Sugar-Daddy!

Really is a nice guy. Class may be a bit challenging at times, but seriously it's not hard. Quizzes over every chapter online, fairly easy and you can use your book and everything. Has a teaching assistant who is very helpful. Many opputunities for extra credit.

TAKE THIS COURSE! He is helpful, knows his stuff and is willing to help every way possible. Tests are not totally easy, but worthwhile to take.

Great teacher, always makes class a good time and he loves to tell stories, plus always takes some time out of class for the "7th inning stretch" which is good when you've been sitting in an uncomfortable lecture hall for ah hour.

You have to take this guy! He's hilarious and actually made me interested the entire time. He jokes around a lot but is devoted to helping you learn and understand everything. Very approachable and awesome guy!

He is a great teacher. I could only guess that anyone who has taken him would tell you to do the same. It is worth it. He is fun and interesting. If you struggle with the subject there is enough extra credit offered to save you . . . or at least save you enough. You should take him!

He is just awesome, hands down, take him. He is so funny, a little intimidating but if you talk to him he is great. Study the SLO's and you'll be fine. I even converted my major to geography because of him. He is spatial. Offers at least a letter grade worth of extra credit. TAKE HIM!

I took this class three years ago, and I still remember how cool Dr. Corson is. I learned a lot in that class, even if I didn't care about the subject matter. He made it very interesting. It is like he got you involved in it. I too say TAKE DR. CORSON!!!

The topic of the class and textbook were perhaps the best I have had in college. Corson made the class interesting with stories and visuals. Can be kind of impersonal at times

Geography was not very interesting to me before i took this class, and at the end of the course i had decided to be a geography major it was all because of Dr. Corson's enthusiasm in the class and he helped me through very tough times. i would reccomend him to everyone.

Get a front row seat, He emits tons of heat, he's hot like the sun, and he's fun, fun, fun!

Seems like a tough guy, but gives it to you letter by letter, if you fail this class it is your own falt. He is very helpful on what to study. Sit in the front, he appreciates it.

Dr. Corson is your PARTNER in education. He wants what you want, which is usually a good grade and easy work. He is very straight forward, and ALWAYS gives you the answers to the first and second pages of the test before you take it, so you can study it!

I am from a different department, and I am taking this class for my minor. I believe my current department is extremly challenging, and I heard geography professors are easy. Well, I think Corson fits in with the professors in my department as far as challenging! Which is a good thing. Hilarious! Very intelligent!if you want to learn, take him!

THE EASIEST geography class you will find! I definately recommend taking it. Teacher is not boring! Go to SI sessions before tests and you will get atleast a B. The quizzes are online, only ten questions, get an hour, and you can use whatever you want. ALOT OF EXTRA CREDIT oppertunities!

Seriously, the only teacher you will want to have for Geography... I absolutely was dreading taking this class.. but now it's the only class that I actually want to go to. He keeps you awake and I've gotten an A on every test.

He is a GREAT teacher. If you get offended easily still take him because you will actually enjoy your class. Yes, he uses "bad" words, and he picks fun. But, he never is biased in only one way. STUDY SESSIONS from Diana are the best things ever. They both want you to get an A, and strive to make the class enjoyable and worth your time.

Great Class! Tests are super easy, he gives you the first 2 pages! Lots of extra credit, but make sure you don't put it off..because most of it is the beginning of the year. make sure you at least skim text before taking the online quizzes.

Dr. Corson does an excellent job of presented the objectives of the class and doing his best to ensure that we are given the assistance we need to succeed. He is passionate on the topics given and is relatively tolerant of our shenanigans. When it comes to needing us to do work, he'll do what it takes, however.

Homeland Security and Defense. Although Corson may seem intimidating, he is super nice and helpful when you get to know him. Attendance is not for a grade, but he knows when you do not show up. There are two tests, which he held a group study session for. 10+ online quizzes with the answers directly out of the book. Gives 20+ points extra credit.

This teacher had me worried on the first day of class when he was cursing and being kind of shy. However, once the class got under way the teacher was amazing. He makes class interesting and I look forward to going to his class! He is very clear about things and gives so many resources to use on tests to make sure we pass!!! Highly recommend him!!!

Dr. Corson is hands down my favorite professor here at NW. He is my advisor and I'm taking Homeland with him now. He is hilarious, expects a lot from you, and pushes you to be a better student. He is a great person in general, definitely a man you want to get to know. A humanitarian homie through and through! He's definitely got your back.

I actually chose this course with him because of RMP and the comments are spot on! He is a great professor and really cares about his students! He likes to lowkey embarrass people, but its funny! just laugh and go with it!

Cordon gives clear guidelines and objectives for Intro to Geography. His lectures are engaging and he posts the powerpoints and extra learning tools on Canvas. He offers extra credit and hosts study sessions before each exam. Highly recommend taking his class.
