This guy is a pretty good teacher. He gets upset if people don't participate in class, but isn't confrontational. He has a relaxed teaching style and goes through problems step by step, answering any questions you may have along the way. He will occasionally throw out random jokes and trivia to keep things light.

While his teaching style is very relaxed, he is not the best at helping students. Whenever I asked him a question, he would never answer me, just send me back to search my notes. Sometimes you just need a push in the right direction instead of searching all over your notes.
good teacher listen, ask questions and take notes...youll be fine, recommended
He doesn't explain things cleary and does not write problems down step by step and goes through the problem very quickly. He also gives pop quizzes and does not give review sheets/study guides for tests, he tells you to use your notes and old quizzes. He is also very unclear on his directions on the test.
Quite the challenging class. He is not very helpful when it comes to giving tips for tests. If it wasn't for his very easy grading, it would be extemely difficult to do well in his class.
I enjoy his class but, alot of people i have talked to cant stand this class. I would take a class with him again if I could.
would not take again! i had surgery and he wouldnt let me take a test late, so i failed it. would not take if you know you will miss more than 2 classes.
HORRIBLE!! dont ever take this guy!! he is too good at the subject so he's not good at teaching it!! I am good at math and i dropped the course! His tests are IMPOSSIBLE!!
Avoid taking his class if you can... I am good at math and he confuses me. He erases the board with his hands so he always looks dirty. hah. He's a nice guy, just a really bad teacher. And he gets upset when no one participates.. which is dumb. it's a math class..
Very bad teacher, confuses, and no hints about tests, extremely hard test.Thinks math 110 as if its calculus.
Learned a lot in this class. Not always interesting but explanations very clear. I got a low grade on first test because didn't know how to study for it. Worked hard to pull out an A the rest of the semester though and feel very ready for Calc.
he was okay and i understood what wasgoing on but he used this math XL thing which is fine but in the end Math XL calulated my grade as a 79.9 and he didnt round it up and i got a C and not a B i emailed him about it and no response so hes on my bad list.
when he teaches it all makes sence but then he makes the tests twice as hard. if you go to mathlab and get help you might get a good grade but unless you have someone else's tests from previous year to study off of you're pretty much screwed. hes really nice and does help if needed
I really liked Mr. Crawford. I'm good at math & find it hard to be challenged sometimes at Waubonsee. He was definitely a good teacher, his tests weren't that easy, but they were fair & if you pay attention & practice you will definitely succeed in your class. He treats students like adults, not highschoolers. I got an A in his class. Very possible
Hard class, but you end up getting a lot out of it. Would definitely take another class if Mr Crawford taught it. He gets really into the material, and makes things not so boring.
COL ALG. Best Math teacher I have ever had. He fully explains everything you need to know for the test. To get a good grade you must show up, and pay attention. He lets you use Math XL for HW which is a big help as well.
I dont recmomend taking him. He is one of those people who loves math but shouldnt be teaching it.I dont mind math (FYI)The things he teaches in this class are not difficult but the way its taught is like learning a new language.I learned more from reding my book. His tests dont really connect to the material taught.
I really thought he was an amazing teacher. Contrary to other descriptions I've read, he is an excellent teacher who loves what he teaches and knows how to present it to an audience. I went to school full time and worked full time so this class wasn't hard, doing homework wasn't hard, doing the tests weren't hard, quizes- meh. take him.
I've had him for 2 classes, College algebra and Finite Math unless ur already familiar w/ the topic...don't take him. He's very knowledgeable, but is not good at all at communicating the information. If you still decide to take him, I strongly advise you to use the math lab after EACH lecture.
Confusing, fairly difficult daily quizzes, and pretty boring. Not my least favorite math teacher, but maybe not my worst.
Hard material, hard to keep up with what he is saying
Mark Crawford is extremely hard to follow throughout the course. His notes are unorganized and when you need help he doesnt help at all. His instructions are not clear so be careful when doing problem sets.
He teaches like your in preschool, which helps. He makes MathXL easy for you if you listen. There is almost NO textbook use. Don't even bother buying it (for college algebra). If you ask questions they will be answered, and it is very easy to get an A if you do homework once a week. Tests are only 10-12 questions. Note: He also makes it a math history/applied class. If you can't apply what you learn, don't take this class.

He is a very good Teacher with high level of math knowledge. His tests are very hard because you don't know what he is looking for.He uses Math XL which is very smart way of learning.Last but not least do not miss his class because then you would be lost.
Where to begin, just because you have a MBA in math does not mean you can teach it. Which he cannot. His notes are extremely unorganized, tests are impossible, and if you have a question, he will not help you. I had to drop because I did not have the time. I was in the math tutoring center every MW. If you take him, be sure to go to the tutor cente
Every morning he has REAL facts, interesting & funny. Class is interesting although you WILL be expecting a QUIZ at the beginning of every class. Grading is ok, but very though teacher. Study max 9hrs and you will be fine, does not grade on curve...and tests are HARD. Overall nice teacher is available for help but during tests will not help you out
Mark seems like a very nice person. He definitely knows the material, but what he teaches is simple compared to what is on the tests. The final is difficult and is 25% of your overall grade .He will not help with test or problem set (practice) questions. I see him as more of a coach trying to push you in the right direction. The class is hard.
Let me start off by saying that I'm actually pretty good at math, but what he teaches you in class doesn't prepare you for the tests. He teaches the basics, but expects you to teach yourself how to build off them to solve much more difficult problems. I recommend staying away from him if you can.
The exercises that he covers in class are relatively easy. Problem sets and exams are incredibly difficult though.Even though he seems helpful, he won't give you answers to your questions. You will need to figure out everything on your own using the textbook.
Mark Crawford has a lot of negative ratings, but I thought he was a great teacher. He knows the concepts very well and explains them in a way that anyone can understand. As long as you take good notes, pay really close attention in class and do the mathxl assignments, you should be more than able to get an A in his class.
Took his algebra class and it was, without a doubt, the hardest class I have taken there. I mostly blame this on Mark though, he hands out review packets to help us review but refuses to help us when we are stuck. He also puts things on the exams that he never taught. Unbelievable class, never again. oh yea i dropped him before the semester ended.
I had Mark last semester and that was the worst mistake of my life. I had a 4.0 before I took this class. Mark makes difficult review packets and tests to try to show off his math skills. Very Arrogant, unhelpful, and would not reccomend this teacher to anyone.
He teaches the material very well and is very thorough with notes. However, he will not answer any questions directly and his tests are 100 times harder then the homework he assigns.
Straight off the bat this guy seems cool and all, until he get to teaching. His notes and example are really easy to follow and understand, even his teaching is comprehensible. But, when it comes to test is just unbearable. He gives useless packets as review, that you must do, but doesn't help you on them because "they are graded". I dropped btw.
First impression of Crawford was he was a laid back guy. He knows the material well but it is difficult for students to understand because he shows odd solutions that aren't evaluated in the book. Class is pretty much watching him solve problems. He doesn't answer questions well and it's difficult to understand what he's talking about.
it is truly just watching him do problems on the board. His lesson plan is essentially pulled directly from the book that is the problem his teaching is like the book with corny jokes interlaced with test that have problems harder than anything done. Do not really learn how to do it rather that he knows how to do it and still makes mistakes often
His classes are interesting because h usually tells anticdotes and jokes to keep you interested. Moderate MathXL homework with lots of note taking. My biggest issue is that the tests do not match the difaculty of the homework or quizes. You can feel prepared but end up sitting there with a test infront of you thinking its in a different language
Mr. Crawford was a great teacher who has a passion for teaching. He was always well prepared and presented tough topics well enough to understand, always utilizing examples which was extremely helpful. Considering it was a difficult class and he does challenge students, overall I still really liked taking Calculus 2 with Crawford.
Nothing he goes over in the class is helpful with the tests or quizzes. Very hard. Dropped
Many people in his more advanced classes seem to find him pretty hard, but for Math 101, I thought he was pretty good. His examples were usually really thorough and easy to understand. It was also always obvious that he is really passionate about teaching and math/logic and I think that made him a better teacher.
I thought Mr. Crawford was a great teacher. You need to study out of class from your notes and the textbook not from mathxl to get an A like I did. Overall would take another class from him.
Nice guy but the exams are very hard. Quizzes and homework are really easy and the class is entertaining. Watch out for those tricky exams!
I enjoyed this class. Although his teaching is kind of confusing, just do the homework and understand it and you should be fine. When he gives a study guide of all topics you need to know for an exam, make sure you look over each topic and you'll be good. Tests are open note open book. He is a nice guy and understands if you turn in something late.
Very good at his job.
Great teacher and explains things very well. The Math XL and exams don't match up very well so it's important to learn the concepts and know how to apply them, which is what a class is supposed to do. Best teacher I've had at Waubonsee.
After reading negative comments about this professor, I decided to take the class anyway, thinking that the usual "underachiever" students were just complaining. How wrong was I. Concepts aren't explained well at all and quizzes are nothing like the homework or examples in class. Do not make the same mistake I did.
Tests are tough, but the homework is optional and he is good at explaining the material. I took it in the summer, so we had quizzes every day, and they were very fair.
the weekly quizzes just get harder as the semester goes on
He is a very nice teacher, always responds to email and such.. His quizzes are difficult as well as his test! Make sure you study EVERYTHING && UNDERSTAND IT! otherwise, don't even both taking the test. I would recommend picking another teacher if possible though...
Do not take this class. It is very long and boring. If you have trouble it will double. He never has us do problems on the board and teaches himself the material. Furthermore, the homework is online, so its a triple whammy. Please do not take this course with this instructor. You will be frustrated.
Take another teacher!!! He only uses the examples that are in the book, so if you don't understand the book, you won't understand him. Quizzes and test are far beyond comprehension. The whole class groans when they take them. Half the class dropped the class.
He makes the class much more difficult than it really should be. Tests and quizzes aren't reasonable at all. I would never recommend anyone this teacher.
I would recommend Mark if you want to be confident in the work that you do. The material is challenging, and there is no getting around that, but if you work hard in his class, the knowledge you retain is there reward.
So let me tell you about Mark. He is a very hard teacher. 89.99% is still a B not a A. He does not round anything and is tough on you. he expects you to know "everything" to prepare you for the next course you take. With that being said if you like to do homework all the time and take weekly quiz's and tests that are hard. Go for it and take him.
Very nice guy but not a great teacher unless you are already good at math. He wants his students to understand the concepts which is a great idea but does little to ensure that that happens. Quizzes and tests tend to be problems not seen anywhere in the homework so the homework does little to prepare you. If you are not a math whiz, avoid him.
I admit when i read about him on this website i hesitated to take his class.Everything they said about him on here was true. His tests and quizes were much harder than the homework on mathXL. But if you listened in class it is possible to do well. I would recommend him, but it is a tough class! *you do get to make up quizzes which is great!*
Prof. Crawford is very knowledgeable and fair. This is online course which means working hard and practice a lot. There's only one thing: The online MathXL and exams don't match up so it's important to learn the concepts and how to apply them. Thanks Prof. Crawford
Really disliked this class. This was an online class but we were forced to go to the school and take the exams. The reason I took an online class in the first place was to prevent this very thing! Also, Mr. Crawford's test dont have much relevance to the Mathxl homework so the content on the test can come as a surprise.
He expects a lot from students, but he is a very good teacher and definitely prepared me for future math classes. Tests are very hard, but as long as you go to class and take notes you should be okay.
I took the easiest college level math course taught by this professor and was intrigued by how well he explained the topics in class, but more so surprised at how unreasonable and irrelevant his tests were compared to his lectures. I would ask how a specific question applied to our material and he was reluctant to give a straight answer.
This guy sucks, he doesn't care about you, and his tests are very tough. I do not recommend taking him. He is a waste of your time.
As a student at a University I took this class at a Community College to get an easy A to be honest with you... This class is anything but. The homework and tests do not match up. I send e-mails on the weekly asking for helpadvicepractice problems none of which he ever gives in return. Overall the only thing he does well is e-mail you back.
Mark's lectures are clear but his exams are unreasonably hard and unfair, he doesn't teach at the level of his exams. I'm telling you guys now DO NOT take him. I wish I would've believed the comments I had read here when I signed up for the class. If I could go back in time and not pick mark as my calc 2 professor I would in a heartbeat.
Mr. Crawford is a great teacher. He always expect the best of his students. His test and quizzes are hard, but this will help you to get ready on the next level math class and be better. He helped me realized that I was not in high school and in order to pass his class I had to work hard. He is very fair teacher.
Professor Crawford does a fantastic job explaining the material both in and outside of class. He enjoys telling corny math jokes, and his lectures are great. However, his exams are brutal. This is no joke! I attended every class and did all of the homework assignments and still struggled. A good chunk of our class dropped after each exam.
Mark is a really nice professor. His lectures are very clear and interesting. However, when it comes to exams, they are your worst nightmare. Homework and quizzes are ok. Watch out for tricky exams!
Lectures are entertaining, cracks jokes and explains real well. Quizzes every week and will bring down your grade if you repeatedly do poorly. First 2 exams are pretty hard but the final is easy compared to all the others. I barely passed with a b, i though for sure i would get a C cause again the final is easy. Do the hw and aim for 100%.
There is a quiz every week and they are hard. However, you can retake them as much as you want until you get the grade of your choosing. He gladly helps struggling students. There is HW everyday. At the end of the semester, he drops a couple of your lowest HW grades. He's really dorky and cheesy but he's a good man. Very intelligent mathematically
Has a funny sense of humor. I was a little worried when I read the comments here after signing up for his class. It's not as bad as it seems He doesn't do reviews and is a little unclear about when there is going to be a test. I don't feel like he is super approachable if you have questions, especially if you're shy.
Do not take his online class. Your lectures, grades, quizzes, homework and tests are ALL on mymathlab. if you want to get taught by a video from the 90's, go for it. No extra credit is avaliable and you have to go to campus to take the tests that are 65% of your grade.
I HATE THIS CLASS! 1st things first He's a fast lecturer. By the time you finish writing one point down he's 3 more points ahead of you. There is a 10 point quiz every Monday and they can destroy you however you can retake them. There is online homework every night and it is a pain to do online, and it is long. He's a good guy but a boring teacher!
Does assign homework but does not check or grade it. Homework helps and paying attention during lecture is very important. Attendance is not taken but if you miss class you will miss out on a lot of information. Allows quiz retakes which helps a lot. Also is a fast grader. Does not use blackboard so you don't really know your overall grade.
The tests are difficult, but between the lectures and homework he gives you all the information you will need to prepare for the test. Calculus isn't going to be easy, but he is helpful and lets you retake the quizzes.
He starts the semester with a story about how he basically failed all of his undergrad classes, but wants you to succeed. He really has good intentions, but he is not a good instructor. As a second time Calc student, I thought he often over-complicated things, his tests were very difficult, and he was hard to catch after class.
Nothing stellar tbh. Make sure you stay on top of the homework though, it adds up quick. I could've gotten a better grade if I had just done it all. Tests aren't too hard, but there's a quiz every Monday which can trip you up if you aren't ready. He's not a bad guy, makes lots of corny jokes, but he cares about the subject matter and his students.
Great guy.
Mark's a really good professor but there is a lot of homework that isn't worth many points but it does help with the quizzes and tests. The tests are hard, but nothing he doesn't cover in class. You don't need the book just the access code for online homework. He's enthusiastic and knows his stuff. Good professor but you have to be willing to work
Average, tells lots of bad jokes but it's entertaining. It's nice that you can tell he likes the subject a lot! Not a huge fan of the pop quizzes but they aren't too bad.
This class was the hardest math class ever. Quiz every other time class meets. Homework is time consuming, yet can be taken multiple times. Tests are hard.
Pre-calc 1/ 2 definitely does not prepare you for Crawford's calc 1 class. He teaches very fast and treats it as if it were advanced. He does not allow notecards for exams, everything has to be memorized. He has weekly homework assignments that are 2x harder than what you learn in class, expect F's on them. Exams questions are also difficult.
Definitely the most difficult class I've every taken, although Mr. Crawford does a good job teaching the material, and his passion for the subject is obvious. He is willing to help outside of class, although wouldn't help by offering any EC. Exams were incredibly hard, and I didn't think that the HW adequately prepared the class for them.
I had Crawford for an online class and had absolutely no communication with him during the entire class. He made it clear at the beginning of class that he is not available to help you with questions you may have about your homework so I spent entire weekends watching YouTube videos made by professors from other colleges to understand the material.
Mark does not prepare any student for any quiz or test. He actually showed us all the complaints of previous students, to the fact that he is too lazy to create us any study guides, or at bare minimim give us any expectations. Lazy and unfair grader. Not recommended. He is only good for informing you on college mathematics, beyond that good luck.
Literally takes the book and copies the notes off of it. His lectures consist of writing notes on the whiteboard. He never condenses the notes and instead writes way too much. Very lazy and does not offer much help. The tests he gives include problems he words differently, so nobody does well. He teaches the material in a complex, confusing way.

A solid professor. Many people rate him low because the class is difficult. I won't lie, he doesn't pull any punches. His HW is tough, and I don't think that's a bad thing (It prepped me well for tests). Many people don't realize that the class is difficult, and a professor can't really make it "easy." TLDR: Good professor, hard class.
Cant teach whatsoever. Likes to talk about what people think of him but doesnt change the way he teaches. He says he loves criticism and thinks highly of himself. He doesnt like to admit when hes wrong or take ownership for anything. He may be nice but hes not good at teaching. Please dont take his class.
I took him online and he emailed the class twice the entire course. When I emailed him questions he would copy and paste from the syllabus. When I asked for help I had to email him 3 separate times to receive an answer the generalized math itself. Every week of exams I was relegated to memorizing for 15+ hours for a 20 question exam. don't take him
He gives plenty of homework which he grades quite diferently. You are given 10-20 questions and out of all those he only grade 3 or 4 and regardless to how many you get right if you failed those you get an F. So after 8 hours of homework and checking your work you can get 16/20 right and still get a zero.
Mark Crawford was and remains to be the best math teacher I have ever had. I took 3 total classes with him, and after my college algebra final he pulled me aside and implored that I go into a STEM field. I am about to graduate with a bachelor's in Statistics, and I owe it to Mark. Yes his class isn't easy, but HE IS FAIR and an EXCELLENT TEACHER.
Took him for an online class and it was horrible. Many people I knew had taken and liked him, but I will never do that again. Any online classes with him are the worst, beyond difficult and he's too hard to get ahold of for help. You're basically on your own with him, yikes no thanks.
Good guy. Teaches many things applicable to real life.
Dont take his online classes
I took Finite math 210 online. Prof. Crawford is always available to help, his lectures are excellent, you can see that he really loves math and wants to share his knowledge. Organized, clear, well structured lectures, and yes, calculus is hard, so it's a lot of work.
He is literally the worst professor ive ever had. He is not available for help, I have emailed him for help multiple times and did not get responses. He does not communicate with the class, only sent about 2 emails the entire course. I took this as an online class and I would never take him again. He is awful.
Based on the reviews I thought the class was going to be hard. Although I did find it a nuisance having to turn my camera when taking exams, I didn't struggle much. You're able to take practice exams as many times as you like, grading of the highest score only. Scoring 100 on homework was easy. Test every other week due to summer course. Good class
His tests account for 60% of the total class value. His Pretests account for 25% of the value. The homework, which takes per the syllabus a minimum of 9-12 hours a week (for me almost 20) is only worth 15%. Sections are locked on the homework until you pass certain areas. His only contribution was implementing a math system (ALEKS). Nothing else
Decent professor. He uses ALEKS for everything in MTH129 which is a decent platform. The class was mostly hybrid/online and you only came in to take quizzes and tests which irked me but that was just the format. He will explain things after quizzes or tests and go over questions. You can take him but he wont be a very impactful teacher.
For Calculus II: Very good in class, explains concepts well. Assigns difficult homework, but if you complete it the tests aren't that bad. I emailed him several times about hard problems and he gives great feedback. The textbook is free and only necessary for homework problems.
I love this professor! He was so great explaining in his lectures and offers great notes to print and follow along. He always stated he was open to help us with homework if we were having trouble, and just to shoot him an email with a picture of our work. Shows many examples and made his class easy to navigate online. Definitely recommend!

Crawford is a very helpful professor. I took his hybrid course and he was always asking if we had questions or if he could help in any way. He truly wants to see his students succeed. He is a little strict on how things work in his class but as long as you communicate with him, I'm sure he's willing to work things out in your favor. Great professor
Took a hybrid class with him a while back and this is one of the worst professors ever! His teaching relies on a math webpage known as "Aleks" and that is it. There is absolutely no teaching from him at all, he literally only assigns assignments with Aleks and expects you to know everything giving you a quiz every week.Sounds easy but its the worst
This professor is the WORST! He assigns 3 different homework assignments a week ranging from 10-20 questions for each. On top of that his lectures are an hour long for each topic of the 3 assignments. Meaning you are supposed to watch 3 hours of lectures online before starting the homework. The homework will also take another 2-3 hours. NEVER AGAIN
Loved him during lectures, but he was a very tough professor. No calculator, no formula cards, and gave weekly homework that was typically 10-15 questions, despite only grading around 3-4 of them. Very helpful outside of class, very responsive to questions. Tests were also quite difficult as well. Hardest A I've ever gotten. Learned a lot though.
I can't speak for professor Crawford in himself but the class is ridiculously difficult especially for a condensed 8 week summer class. 250+ topics for a single class that contains zero face to face contact is borderline in humane. Do not under any circumstances take this class as an online course as it will push you to the verge of insanity
Do not take this Professor for a hybrid or online class! I took his hybrid class Algebra for business and science and it was horrible. All of the learning is online, no face to face instruction. He wasn't a bad teacher when he went over some problems(which was rare) but I just think the class design was really poor.
He is a good professor in terms of teaching the material, but he made the course pretty challenging. No formula cards/calculators on tests, exams worth a large % of your grade, etc. This may have helped me as a mathematician but he could stand to let us use a formula card sometimes. He's great at teaching but be prepared for no aid during exams.
Although he does quizzes every week, I don't really recommend this approach. I know its three questions long, and its up to you for studying. He also grades you on the ALEX system on your practices to ensure you're on top schedule which is an OK thing, but be ready for tons of papers on his Hybrid class.
I'm not sure why other people are complaining it's an online class when you can choose whether it's online or in person. Anyways, math sucks, but the online lectures are nice and he explains the stuff well, he answers emails quickly too.
The absolute epitome of a walking L
AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS. He lies about his class description. It said FULL ONLINE and he made us come to class for exams and would not accomodate and let me take the test at home because I had no way of getting to campus. He even doubted when I told him this and said I was lying about not being able to get there which was very unprofessional.
The Professor prioritizes "Aleks" math program over teaching, offering minimal guidance except after tests. Lectures are absent, and accessing help is difficult due to limited office hours. Students receive assistance post-assessment, with more material assigned for upcoming tests.
Took Mr. Crawford for Calc2 online. Although I did pass with an A, the average for our tests was around a 55%. This class has A LOT of material and homework. He is a very strict homework grader as you have to have all your work done perfectly! Even a silly mistake will lose you 10%. Tests are easier than homework but no formula sheets!
Unintuitive teaching style that consists of briefly touching on formulae and then breezing through example problems. Expects us to memorize every formula, identity, etc. and takes off points for something as basic as not remembering a trig identity. Class drags on and on for 100 minutes. Often takes days to respond to messages.
Honestly WORSE PROFESSOR EVER. You get over 13 new topics each week, and the tests are every four weeks so you can do the math. You must turn on your webcam and screen record your test, the practice exam is half of what the actual exam has. If you want to go over the homework you have to go over it at that moment in Aleks because he locks it. AVOID
Avoid worst teacher ever, ever I say.
Professor Crawford uses a lot of ALEKS assignments, but if you engage with them, the class isn't too bad. The lecture-based hybrid format can be tricky, but unstuck ai helped me prep for the weekly quizzes. Overall, not the most engaging prof, but doable if you stay on top of things.
I don't know why everyone else is complaining so much. The Calc2 class is certainly difficult but his lectures are very easy to digest and he offers tons of office hours to attend. You get the whole week for a homework that's 10-15 questions and he'll sit and do them all with you. It's not difficult to pass if you just put in the time.
I get people want a professor who teaches and doesn't use Aleks. I personally liked the format he'd assign the homework it's exactly as the tests so practice thru aleks and it's easy. There is a quiz each week beginning of class to make sure your practicing. Often 3-5 questions based on the chapter. Then exams seam easy as well! Currently got an A!
Great professor. Lecture notes are very useful for understanding and for preparing for the exams. Gave personal attention and feedback even in an online class. Highly recommend.
Calc 2 is tough material, and you'll need some coffee to slog through each lecture. You'll spend a lot of time memorizing formulas and doing the homework, so visit his office hours and he'll help you. If you take 132 in the spring, don't go to the integration bee since the extra credit offered is just a round-up that's required by Waubonsee anyway.
Great all-around professor.
This class is certainly one you will have to study for and pay attention! There are quizzes every week but homework is pretty manageable. His office hours were a great was to get help. He is very understanding to when I was worrying about the class and he helped me through that. If he sees that you put effort in, I am sure he will be great.
