Professor Crowley is the man. Explains everything well and very good at adressing student questions. Funny guy too.

He makes class fun by telling his corny jokes, Goes around the room asking everyone 1 question, then if your a person who dosn't like to answer allot of questions like myself, your done for the day. I litterally only opened my book just in class, in case he called on me never rly looked, and ended up with an A. A+++ Teacher(More+but350 char limit)

He is great at explaining things. The things on his exams are usually from previous quizzes or exams so they are pretty easy.

Definatly take this professor!! He's great and pretty funny too...talks about Jonas Brothers a lot but if you can get past that he's a wicked nice guy, also makes accounting easy and interesting, always wants his students to do well and gives good grades.

LOVE his outfits and his stories. I don't feel like I learned a ton from him, but it was Intermediate Accounting 2 so not a ton of new concepts, just applying concepts you already know so it was fine. I'd hug him if I could.

He makes asking questions easy and doesn't make anyone feel stupid for asking. His tests are long and can feel tough as you take them. No homework assignments to turn in. You are on your own and need to do the exercises at the end of each chapter to ensure you can pass the tests. Would like to take him again.

LOVE HIM!! he's awesome. very helpful and friendly. tells jokes alot. people in my class actually wanted to attend his class. he is very funny and gets to know his students. had no homework just 3 tests and a final. tests easy as long as you pay attention in class..& he tells class wat will be on the exam ahead of time

Prof. Crowley is the man. Keeps class interesting and fun, which for accounting, is almost impossible. If you participate, do a little work, and study the classwork he gives you, you'll get an A. Extremely helpful, there are no stupid questions in this guys class. He made everyone feel comfortable. I truely enjoyed taking this class with him!

He's funny and a bubbly person. Though it's a very boring subject, he makes class entertaining. The tests can be easy or on the difficult side sometimes, but he did allow us to use a cheat sheet. I wish he went over more stuff though since some of the stuff on the tests we didn't really go over in class. He assigns homework but doesn't collect it.

I read the reviews on here and decided to take him, litterally all these reviews are exact. He is so nice, loves to teach and he even goes to sporting events so he obviously loves his job. My one complaint is that he calls on you atleast once every class, which for me is nerve racking so i tend to focus on if i looked stupid rather than accounting.

His class was great. He likes to joke a lot and relate it to the material he is using. he will help you with anything you need. you have 3 or 4 test, online assignments that don't count for much but help a lot with the test. I bought the book but never once opened it. he prints everything that you will need. def take him. rarely takes attendance.

Probably one of the best teachers I've ever had. Goes over everything in class. Tests and online homework are just like handouts. He calls on everyone to participate so nearly impossible to not pay attention. Very funny and knows the material very well.

This guy is the man! I took him over the summer and didn't even mind going. I'm not an accounting major and didn't have any intrest in accounting but I loved this class. Tests are fair. All in all, a great guy and great class!

Thought this was going to be my toughest class because its accounting.. turned out to be the easiest because of Crowley. Makes everything crystal clear and doesn't put much stress on you. Pretty much gives you everything to help you out. If you need to take accounting 100, def take it with Crowley and it will be easy. Awesome and caring guy.

Mark Crowley is sincerely a great guy, but a mediocre professor. We often do homework or SLAs in class, then have to repeat them and do them online for credit, and turn in our SLAs to a course tutor during our free time. It's just a bit tedious. I feel like there's a better way. Other than that, he has a very dry, but enjoyable sense of humor.

Mark Crowley is great. Attendance is not required but you might want to go every class because he usually does the connect homework and SLAs in class that you have to do online for credit. He has a lot of corny jokes but it makes class enjoyable. I don't think I retained anything from the class since the answers were always given out, but oh well

Crowley is the man! Probably the best professor at BSU. He gives 2 tests and final and they are easy. He has a great sense of humor and is a generally nice guy. He cares a lot about his students. His class flies by so quickly because it is not a boring lecture the whole time. If you need an accounting class you should choose him over everyone else

Professor Crowley is a very good professor that made the course easy to understand by taking his time to give good explanation to some difficult topics. Participation is important in his class and thus engage students.

Highly recommend taking any class with Prof Crowley! He made a boring summer class fun. Always kept the class interested and made it easy to learn accounting. Definitely would take his class again!

I had to take a Monday night class that was 3 hours long which I wasnt thrilled about he honestly made it bearable he was super funny and easy to listen too Theres 2 midterms and a final. only thing that sucks is he cold calls on you i shook my head and said idk 90% of the time and he didnt care just moves on. I would take him again for sure

He is a funny teacher. Not always great at explaining content so youll have to do a little extra work. But, he is easy and accessible so he will let you improve your test grades if you failed.

I love this professor. I am a Senior and throughout all of my years at college this is the only professor I thought was so awesome and worth my time to rate on here. If you have the chance to take him for any accounting class at Bridgewater State, take it! You will not regret it. He is wicked funny and really cares about his students. Class is easy

LOVED HIM! I have never had a teacher that actually cared so much about students actually learning the material. Plus, he's an absolute legend, be ready to laugh your head off. He makes sure you understand what he's doing, and if you don't he will repeat problems until everything is clear.

Professor Crowley is a great professor. His lectures are fun and he is super funny. When we had to transition to online classes due to COVID 19 he did a great job of planning meetings every MWF. He calls on you randomly though so if you don't like that wouldn't recommend taking him. Only 4 tests all super easy.

Dr. Crowley handled teaching in a pandemic online with ease. Clear notes. Clear expectations. Very willing to help in and out of virtual class. Only 4 grades for the class midterm 1(30%) midterm 2(30%) final 30% and class participation 10%. Pay attention in class you get an A on exams.

There's not a lot of extra credits because we don't turn in homework, we get graded on 3 exams total and that's about it. You have to do well in the exams, so if you miss a class you would miss a lot of materials. Class participation is key because it makes you really understand what you are doing. The professor is really nice, this class was great

He is the best Accounting teacher. Only 3 exams, he provided a review for the exams. He is funny, kind. He always push you to learn. I wish he could teach all my Accounting classes. Take him and you won't regret it.

Mark is a very helpful professor, he really cares about his students and wants everyone to do their best. He wants to hear back when his students pass their CPA test, it makes him happy. He wrote my recommendation letter for me even though I only had him once before. He is just a very smart professor and also very funny. Makes lectures enjoyable

Super easy class. Attendance matters and he will randomly call on you but course content is easy to follow and his questions are easy to answer. Minimal homework and he gives answers before they are due. 2 exams and a final, but he gives you a study guide that you go over in class that is a replica of the tests. Definitely recommend.

Professor Crowley gets to know everyone's names and is a very generous grader. There were 2 midterm exams and the final exam. Professor Crowley is one of the few professors at this school who actually cares enough to make a connection with each student. He goes the extra mile to help you love material that you wouldn't. Sweetest, kindest, funniest guy.

Professor Crowley is a great guy. He cares for his students and tries to get to know them. To learn the material you have to read the book. In class he just does examples of different accounting statements and always ends early. I wish that he explained things more but it is overall an easy class.

He will call on everyone in the class once or twice a day. Quizzes are basically just a copy of the notes. You fill out a note packet everyday in class by going around the room and each student fills in an answer. The material is straightforward enough that you will know the answer, but he's so nice if you don't. Lots of funny stories every class!!

He's very funny, but he also cold calls on students so pay attention but he's very nice and helpful. If you show up and pay attention and complete the online assignments then it's impossible to do bad in his class.

Really nice and funny dude. I wish the way he formatted this class was different, but it's not bad at all. Cold calls on every student twice a class, and doesn't really teach or explain the material, but he's a respectful person, so it's never stressful or overly difficult. Just make sure you show up and you'll do fine.

Love this guy. I wish he were my grandad sometimes...im gonna miss his classes. he takes the time to get to know you and makes sure to say goodbye to every student before we leave and will throw in some compliments. just make sure you are paying attention and dont suffer in silence so ask for help because he will help on tests. just don't be shy.

If you have the opportunity, PLEASE take this professor. He is super funny and keeps the class engaged throughout the whole lesson. He does call on everyone, usually multiple times per class, but makes it super easy to follow along. Also if you don't know an answer, he will take time to explain if you ask. Class ends 15mins early almost everyday.

2nd Review (this time for 341) Nice guy, tries to connect with you and make sure everyone can participate. This was a summer course over zoom, but he handled the technology well. Clearly has a lot of practical experience but maybe struggles to translate that to an educational environment ie. mistakes in notes. But we eventually figure it out.

This guy is just the best. All around. He is funny and gets everyone to participate but he helps you through questions when they're not layups. He tells stories during the lectures to make you understand the material more and often he loves when people joke around. Tests are sometimes a little challenging, but overall it's a great environment.

The content in this class is pretty tough, but if you have gotten this far, you should be good. As usual, Dr. Crowley's class is enjoyable though sometimes it gets a bit bumpy as far as everyone being on the same page. Definitely important to put in work outside of class. But Crowley is a real nice guy who definitely cares!

Wicked easy lectures, if you don't know what's happening, he'll guide you through the problems and help you understand them better. A couple exams, and a lot of connect assignments that were kinda brutal but even then the class was pretty light. Notes posted on bb, as well as a practice final at the end to help study.
