He's quite religious, which was fairly annoying in a class setting. Tends to go off on a tangent, so make sure to read the text.

Should be an extremely easy class but it's not. He makes you work if you want a high grade. Gives you the test questions in advance. If you remotely have any 'elitist' views keep them to yourself he is extremely bias about that. Will help you if you seek it. Tons of easy assignments but he expects a lot on exams. If you work hard you will get an A.

Absolutely horrible. Half of our class had dropped it by mid-semester. Teaches the intro class as if we were 4th year socio majors. EXTREMELY disorganized content. Uses AI a ton. Gives vague assignment expectations, then nitpicks grades. He mis-tracked my attendance and dropped me from an A to an A- over 0.1%.

Mark's great, depending on the class. Highly recommend research methods. He was engaged when teaching and you know he knows his stuff. Less math and more nuance leads Mark down the slippery slope of AI though :(. Start on the projects early - send them to him and he will give you very helpful feedback - listen to the feedback to get an A.

This has got to be me worst experience with a professor. He never answers emails. He does not know how to explain anything. For our final exam he failed to answer multiple emails to the point where the IT department had to get involved. Not fair at all. BEWARE.

Mark is my goat. He is so caring! Yes the end of this semester was rough but the poor guy was HOSPITALIZED. I will never not take a class with Mark.
