Very caring and helpful. Great sense of humor, I didnt do great in his class but it wasnt for his lack of trying to get me to do my best.

Interesting class though I wish he didn't spend time messing with students and how they behaved. He was very helpful and tried to make calculus fun.

Dr. Faucette is a very cool teacher. A real character. His class was tough, and I ended up dropping. His class was fun, but I didn't learn the material very well. The very next semester, I took CALC 3 with Dr. Gordon and made an A.

OMG, you can't fail this class. I took this class over the summer and all we did was homework and an open-book final. Also, he's a very nice guy, albeit a little weird.

Faucette is the man. Don't listen to anyone on here who says otherwise. He is extremely caring and is very negotiable and reasonable. Tests are easy and from the homework. He has the best sense of humor out of anyone I know. Do not miss this opportunity to be in the presence of this god!

This class is incredibly easy. I didn't do anything but study the practice sample tests and made an A in the class. He is a very kool guy, with some pretty wack stories about random stuff is. Just go to his class. He will make you erase his board a lot if you are late. I ended up erasing his board like 50 times this semester. It's a very easy "A".

Dr. Mark is a great teacher, he goes through things fast but is willing to take any question that you have. If you need extra help he will be more than willing to help you. Gives practice exams befor each test and always puts a curve on the test. Best math professor i have ever had. TAKE HIM!!! Deff. one of a kind!

Faucette is an awesome professor, and is very willing to help students. He makes an effort to at least know everyones name (even the people who don't come to class.) He gets off subject alot, but still covers all the material. If he doesn't talk about it that much, it won't be on the test. Don't take him for anything below Calc I, though.

He is overall a good teacher. He will help you if you go to his office and ask for it. DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND SHOW UP FOR CLASS and you will do fine.

Took him for precalculus, LOVED DR. FAUCETTE!!! If you don't mind listening to his cat stories, definitely take him. Hilarious teacher, you never sleep through class and would want to go to class. You also learn. Easy multiple choice tests.

Took him for precalc. I don't know why the rates are so low cuz he was totally an awesome prof! Unless you really don't like cats... He gets off topic but I could pull everything off pretty well and ended up with something like a 98 in class. It's a fun class, so take him!

Dr. Faucette is truly a unique character at UWG. At first glance, he is hard to take seriously because of the way he dresses, but make no mistake about it, he is one of the most caring and considerate professors I have ever had. He knows his stuff, and makes great strides to help his students succeed. Failed Calc II twice, got an A this time.

Great teacher who really cares about his students success as long as they try. He is willing to work with you. Just do the online homework/quizes. The sample tests he puts on his website before the test are the exact same questions, sometimes just with different numbers. If you need Math 1113 take him!

During class, he sometimes does not explain everything in full detail and the online homework program can be frustrating. However, if you have trouble, especially with your grades, he's more than happy to help. His test are also easy if you do the practice tests he gives you (it's basically the same thing!)

He is a great teacher im taking him this semester. He is really nice and cares about his students. He is fair, and nice. I mean if he catches you cheating ur going to fail. Which is like duh. but hes great.

Great Professor! I wouldn't recommend anyone else! Great with explaining things and doesn't rely on the book. Do the online homework and pay attention when he reviews for the test and you will most definitely come out with an A. He loves to talk about his cats, makes class very enjoyable.

Professor Faucette is a really nice professor!! He wants "student happiness in his class"! And if you work hard in his class he will help you get the grade u want. I managed to get a B in his class thanks to him, my friends, Jesus, and God!!! Go to class, take notes, pray, and you will do fine in his class!!! Good luck :D

I loved this class and Faucette! He's hilarious and easy to understand. Must come to class (iclicker). Online homework, so no text needed since it's on the CD (but I recommend it). Don't get behind. Easy A if you do your crap. Always has office hours and he helps a ton! He's that awesome. People that don't like him probably just don't like math.

He's Brad Pitt in sweats. It's such a joy taking Calc3 with him... Such a beautiful, eloquent sack of a man. I love him and his wonderful little cats. ALBUS! Take this professor if you want to learn a little math and a lot of cat.

Professor Faucette is very fun loving and easy to get along with.The big thing in the class is attendance get there and take notes and you'll do just fine. Most homework and quizzes will be done on MyMathLab and he also gives sample tests on his website days before a test. Do them and you're almost guaranteed and A on his test. Good luck

Faucette is a decent teacher and a great person. He'll work with you as long as you talk to him. Class was easy, got an A on every test. He puts up a sample test online the week of the tests that are almost exactly like the tests. The only bad thing about his class is that attendance is MANDATORY & you have a ton of homework/quizzes on MyMathLab.

Dr. Faucette was one of my favorite professors I have had in college. Although I hate math, he was very helpful when I went to his office and ended up pulling a B in the class. Do your homework and you will be fine.

Knows the material very well, but often skips steps. Very good about giving many examples and helping when asked. Test can be difficult and lots of online homework.

I literally only passed one test and still made a B in the class because I did well on all the homework and quizzes. There is hope if you do poorly on any test!

Took summer class and it is very fast paced but manageable since the homework/quizzes are online and test were 25 question multiple choice. Made an A in the class and missed about 5 days the entire semester. Great professor and I would recommend taking his class if your unsure about others.

Prof. Faucette was always very supportive and took extra time to help those students who asked and wanted to learn. I had not studied Calculus since high school, 25 years ago and Prof. Faucette really went out of his way to help me - with out his extra time and support I would not have had the patience to study hard to make him proud!

He's a great guy who cares a lot about his students and his cats, even when it doesn't feel like it. He makes lectures bareable. the amount of homework helps boost your grade from the tests. His tests are short & cover a lot of material making them hard. If you want to actually learn, he is a great professor, so don't take him if you wont try.

The most interesting class I ever had. Dr. Faucette was so hilarious! Math is boring, but his class was fun because he is so funny. This is one class I will never forget!

Oh Dr. Faucette!! I loved him. So sweet, caring, and hilarious! But, SIT UP FRONT! I'm a quiet student but I sat up front and he got to know me and my friend, and he liked us. He even emailed us about taking calc, but it didnt work out. Study and try and you'll do good. Dont be scared by his syllabus (lol). He is just trying to be funny!! Recommend

I took him for calc 2 while i was a junior in high school. He was really supportive. GO TO HIS OFFICE! and sit in front. Taught well and you will do really well as long as you do the homework. He works lots of example too

I took Dr. Faucette for Calculus 3, Non-Euclidean Geometry and Linear Algebra! LOVED him in every course. Take his class. You will work hard, learn a lot and love him!

You can tell Faucette cares about his students, at least more than the typical professor. The tests are not proof-based, so as long as you understand how to solve computational problems this course will not be difficult. The weekly homework contains proofs and takes multiple hours to complete on average.

Dr. Faucette is one of the best in that whole department. If you genuinely want to learn math, this is the guy to take. If you simply want a passing grade, look elsewhere.

I love this professor. I'm horrible at math but with him everything look easier. I got a B. Take this professor if you are not good at math ! He is a funny guy. Homework are online.

He wants all of his students to succeed. He is truly dedicated to giving UWG students a UGA education. What a wonderful guy.
