Dr. Foret is great. You should consider taking his course if you are headed into any medical position. He introduces you to many real life stories that bring the book into clear perspective. Home work is low, studying mostly. Test are harder, but multiple choice which keeps them fair. VERY helpful!

I had Foret for Lab. Very excellent and clear to understand. He knows the material very well. Our lecture instructor would leave us confused, and then Foret would straighten us out. A great professor and a great person. He takes a genuine interest in the lives of his students. He also tries his best to make the material interesting (not always an easy thing). He gives handouts for each chapter which are far more useful than the textbook. He teaches A & P as well, so if you need to take that, he's definitely the guy to see.

Listen up, take him but make sure you study real good cause there are no study guides, but its not rocket science either.

Great teacher, extremely knowledgable about his subject. You feel like you are really learning a lot. His tests can be quite hard though and many times he tries to pander to female students too much by making fun of and putting males down,which I don't this is right.

He was very friendly and very helpful. He was always trying to be the best professor he could, though i wish he went less into the medical side of biology (not everyone was going to be a nurse).

He is a wonderful professor (Dr.). His classes are very informative and fun. He corresponds real life situations with the book. His tests are hard and you need to study, but he is more than fair, and offers a bunch of extra credit.

DR.Foret is the best professor i have ever had. If you are lucky enough to attend his lecture and lab, you will be amazed at what you learn! You need to attend all classes and study hard and you will get an A. He is very entertaining and you will never be bored in his class. I looked forward to every class and i was sad when class ended!

hes very extremly teacher. i swear hes very helpfull in grading. im not good at biology but. so far im getting As in his tests. hes test not very east but he gives high-misses. that the question every one gets wrong he gives it extra cridet poit.

Mr. Foret is a wonderful professor. Explains things so well. The class was very hard. It should be its science. But he wants his students to succeed. I got a 76 on my 1st exam; but with his motivation and excellent & detailed way of teaching, I stuck with it. I got a 94 & above on the last 3 exams. I never took science b4. My foundation is good now

Dr. Foret is a treasure Probably my favorite instructor ever and I''ve taken A LOT of courses. He''s actually an MD doctor not a PhD doctor and for biology students interested in health careers his knowledge and real-world applications make all the difference in staying engaged withretaining the material. As a fellow teacher, I have the utmost respect for Dr. Foret. I thoroughly enjoyed his class and felt very comfortable participating and adding my own thoughts to the lecture. He's an amazing guy and teacher but YOU have to work for your grade. His tests are hard but doable. Attendance doesn't count so basically all you have to do is read chapters and come to lab. His class isn't an easy A but I can definitely say I learned a lot of things this semester.

If I could take all my Biology classes with him I would. He's a former emergency medical doctor who has studied abroad therefore is wealth of knowledge is great. He cracked alot of jokes (some not as funny as others) but made learning fun. Be sure that you are on time for the quizzes as he hates to start late.

One of the best professors I've had. He gives you everything you need to get that A, the rest is up to you. Show up to class and lab, do the homework, and go over your slides and notes about an hour a night you should be fine. Don't expect him to just give to you have to do the work but your well facilitated.

GREATTTT! Had him for lab, make sure you show up every period. Tests are easy if you pay attention to the labs. READ the lab book he bases his tests on the bolded material in the reading as well as the labs. He makes class exciting and Sooo nice! I highly recommend him.

Dr. Foret is easily one of my favorite teachers. He's very clear and straight forward so there aren't any surprises in his class. What he teaches in class is what you should expect on his tests. On every test, he removes the questions that most students got wrong and if you got them right he gives them to you as extra credit.

I never really liked bio, but Dr. Foret seriously made me LOVE bio, thats how you know how good of a professor he is. The fact that he's an MD and can relate back to medicine and his experiences made EVERY lecture SOO interesting. I miss Dr. Foret's class. He is so personable and makes the material so easy. A real gem at hfc. Would take him again and again. I had last semester but had to come back to write the review. He reminds us that teachers are human too and not robots. There is a lot of material in each section so I can be hard knowing what to study, but he gives E.C.

Mark is a swell guy. He is a little rushy though. For example, during the frog dissection, I was personally unable to enjoy (let alone learn anything) without him constantly asking where we were, and why we weren't done. His test are easy-ish. You definitely need to study for them. Overall, great professor. He just needs to ease up and give time.

I had Dr. Foret for only lab in Spring semester, but I learned so much from him that I regret that I didn't have him for lecture as well. His anecdotes make class fly by. The only thing I did not like about his class is taking an exam from a powerpoint, but I adjusted by the end of the semester. Very personable. He's a treasure to Henry Ford.

He is a great teacher, everything he would talk about in class was on the exams. I had him for lab in the spring and all I had to do to pass the class was just go over what he talked about in class and my lab manual we would fill out together as a class. Very nice teacher!

Dr. Foret was one of the best professors I've had at HFC. He doesn't read slides off the whole time, he makes lecture interesting . If you read the book, attend lab and study for tests you will easily do well. He gives plenty of EC and gives points for &quot;high misses&quot; on tests. I wish he taught A&amp;P because I would take him again. Highly recommended.

He does HIGH MISSES! Doesnt read from the slides &amp; adds his personal INTERESTING experiences to what he's teaching. wish I could take him for all science classes-I learned so much from him!! Def looked forward to this class every day. He probably has taught me more useful science than any AP class ever could. HFC is SOO lucky to have him. TAKE HIM!

I really like Dr. Foret except for the way he insults students that are struggling. He sighed once and said &quot;omg this is the future of healthcare&quot; in front of everyone! But, the class is straight-forward and easy to pass if you're paying attention though. Just highlight what he says is important in lab manuals and memorize it. You will get an A+

One of the best professors I've ever had. I will be forever grateful for the fact Mr. Foret emailed and told me that I had mistakenly turned in a blank assignment, and he let me email it to him for credit. His grading was more than fair, and I would even take him for in-person classes because he doesn't mind helping you.

Foret is the best Professor Ive had. He gives a speech on day 1 about how hard his tests are but dont let it scare you. His high miss system gives you like 10 points back on every exam. He can get off topic with stories but they are interesting and so is his lecture overall. Made me enjoy science and pursue it as a degree.

I only took him for lab, the class was easy. He drops a couple of things at the end of the semester. Don't expect to be able to send in anything late he will NOT accept it, literally for any circumstance.
