This is my favorite class. I have been studying Chemistry for the 3rd straight year now. High School Chemistry will never be the same. Great professor with amazing teaching styles.
Great instructor. Gets excited about his topic. Fast paced class.
Great teacher with interactive lecture style. Gets very excited about Chemistry and transfers that to his students. Tests are straight-forward without tricky questions. Gets across difficult concepts well. Great teacher for learning the basics!
awasome teacher. loves chemistry if u want to learn and pass chemistry take Garner. he is the best chemistry teacher i ever had. 11% of our grade is Practice Questions whiich are really easy.. and u get to drop ur lowest test/quiz grade.
He is very passionate about chemistry is for sure. I loved his class. He is easy to understand but don't miss a class because material builds on from previous chp. Make sure you read if you do miss a class.
Took this class as a refresher and Prof. Garner is amazing. He is very VERY passionate about Chemistry, which is cool because it gets you excited. Says "Isn't that cool?" a ton. Very nice guy and as long as you read you will be fine. Recommend A++
Genuinely a great guy, teaches with passion, Make sure you read and do the red homework problems. Practice these problems because they will prepare you for both his quizzes and exams. Make sure you get everypoint on the HW/Class quizzes so you dont stress too much on the final =) Bonus points from LAb help alot also, so try to take that advantage
Best chem teacher ever
Professor Garner was a great teacher. His lecture outlines come in handy so show up to class for his notes. Pretty lenient on his grading, but there are quizzes every other day and online quizzes that were due every weekend. So, study hard and you'll do well in his class.
Dr. Garner is good at explaining difficult concepts to students without a lot of science experience. I learned a ton from him. This class was hard, but I worked lots of book problems and spent a lot of time in his office getting extra help. He is very helpful and approachable, and he gives lots of assignments to help his students earn high grades.
Be prepared to study a lot. This class required a lot of hours. I studied so much and still end up getting C in this class. I got A in the lab, but it didn't matter. Good luck to everyone who's taking this class.
This is a hard class, I wouldnt take it unless forced. Dr Garner however is quite a character. He is hilarious. I hate chemistry; I love his lectures, LOVE them. He makes class an absolute joy. Just when my attention drifts off he does something rediculous and sucks me back in. I heart Dr. Garner.
Took him online in spring and it was horrible. There are 2 weekly quizzes, 5 activities, and 5 exams throughout the semester. If you take him, expect to study your butt off and not understand a thing unless you're rally good at chem. He's not very helpful either.I'm an A student and this class didnt make any sense at all.
He explains things very well. Online quizzes are hard but you get 2 tries. The final exam is worth 200 points so if you do poorly on it then you're screwed. Even if you get A's in every exam, a bad score on the final exam will pull you down a letter grade. That's the only tough part about this class.
He prides himself in being "Easy A Garner," but the true is he's NOT! More like "Easy C Garner" and if you study a little you can easily pull off a B. Overall, he's a GREAT teacher and I prefer his CHEM 103 class though.
I am currently taking garners' class and I LOVE IT!!! He is so helpful and so hilarious! You will never get bored in chemistry! LOTS AND LOTS of opportunities to boost your grade..like group activities, online homeworks where you get 4 chances at one problem.. AWESOME CLASS!:)))
He is such a great chemistry professor.. I didn't enjoy chemistry as much as I did, before this class. If I could I would take his chem 121 class, but I'm taking it over the summer and he doesn't teach it then:(!!!! But I recommend this class to anyone!!!!There was never a moment where I dreaded going to class.
everyone professor needs to be like him. he makes other professors look bad.
he is the best teacher. no doubt about it. yes, there is a lot of work to do, but if you do it, you will learn and take it with you. Because of him i was able to pass the class. great professor. great teaching
I was so scared to take this class only because i got an F in high school. He is not easy but he is a GOOD teacher. He explains everything so well and the book is very easy to understand. There is alot of work. (1000 pts worth) But its worth it,it helped me pass all his tests. Thanks to him i love chemistry and can't wait unitl i take Chem 121.
Massive HW...takes HOURS! Let's u drop a grade in every area: test, in class quiz, online quiz, HW. What he explains in class is not always helpful for HW. Bounds of charisma, super nice, funny. Good teacher, but could match his lecture more with material in HW & tests. That said, still take him.
I commented under this comment saying how good of a teacher he is...but he is not very generous with grading.most professors if you have an 89.86 will round it up to an A, but not him... I was 1.4 points out of a 1000.it was just a big shock because he comes off a very nice guy! but he is definitely funny! so if you want to be entertained take him.
Professor Garner is the Greatest!! He makes you laugh with his quirky sense of humor and makes chemistry a lot of fun. He makes sure that you understand chemistry. Great course!!
To the reviewer who said, "...he is not very generous with grading.most professors if you have an 89.86 will round it up to an A, but not him... I was 1.4 points out of a 1000." So Sorry, but 89.99 is STILL a B! Get over it!!!
He is the best professor I have ever had. If you have a chance, take him. He is helpful, and really cares about his subject and his students.
Turns out, he's a great professor and a great guy. Old quizzes and tests are very helpful. You'll have to read the textbook for a full understanding of the material because there's just not enough time in lecture to cover it all.
Dr. Garner is extremely helpful. He does all the problems similar to the text book and his old exams is very helpful. Study all the old exams and do all the on- line practice homework & you'll do well in the class with an "A".
This professor was amazing and made an otherwise very tough subject easy to understand. Prior to this class I had never taken a chemistry class and he was incredibly helpful. Very enthusiastic about the subject and makes it interesting enough for me to consider taking another class. LOVE having him as a teacher! Take him if you can!
He is the best!!!! He has sample quizzes and exams on angel which are a replica of the exams and quizzes he gives in class, excellent teacher!
He was very helpful! Although the subject isn't very easy, he does his best to explain all of the concepts. In Chem 103, there are four main tests, 5 (really easily predicted) short pop quizzes, and around 20 homework assignments (10 online, 10 in class). He is very quick to respond to e-mails regarding any questions and truly does his best 2 help
He was a very good instructor; however, he teaches the subject like you already know it. It would be very helpful to study the textbook and work on sample problems before coming to class to fully understand the concepts. If you have the time to dedicate, wonderful class. Dr. Garner is extremely quick to respond to e-mails anytime.
He was a very good professor. From what I've heard, he seems to be the 'easiest,' but by no means is this class easy. There are 11 group assignments, 11 hw's. 5 (easy) pop quizzes, 4 tests, and 1 final. This class requires A LOT of time and effort and studying. It's not a breeze. Read the chapter before showing up and you will do well.
Tough class but he really helped. He is very approachable. Ask Questions, you are not the only one with that question. He will help you understand.
I love his class.he is cool funny knowlegeble and respectful.teach clear specify all exam practice and you really know how to study or hoew to read .
If it weren't for Dr. Garner I would've failed chemistry. He's so helpful & patient & such a good teacher that he basically taught me the entire subject during lab downtime (by explaining anything out of the book that I didn't understand, which was a lot). Because of him I got an A, without even attending lecture. Definitely a top notch professor!
TAKE HIM! His exams are similar to the practice exams he put up online. He's very helpful and cheerful too.
Garner is probably the best chem professor at CSN. He doesn't really use the book but he uses the online mylabsplus system for homework. if youre willing to put in work and study, his tests aren't difficult to pass and he has a couple of in class quizes that he always tells you when they will be
Professor Garner is a great instructor. General Chemistry is a difficult class, however he makes it easy to understand. I had him last semester as well for Intro to Chem and I got an A! There's lots of work, but its to help you understand the material and ultimately do well on the exams. Just as long as you put in the effort you'll do well.
I took Garner for Chem 103 and 121, he really does all he can to give as much supplement possible for the class. It is difficult and requires a lot of outside work, but an A is very possible. He posts reviews, has online homework, and worksheets.
Dr. G is probably the best chem professor because the way he lectures, all we do are problems after problems. To do good on the exams, do the worksheets, understand the concept, and take the practice quizzes on mylabplus because his exam problems are similar to them.
Prof. Garner is very helpful professor and I like how he explain the chem equations through examples, questions, practice, online homework, and even a book examples. If u wanted to pass, use all these examples and practice and ask him for help which he does it well. He gives students worksheets to work on and handouts for you to study and use.
He's a nice professor but it's chem so of course, you have to give your time and study a lot. You can't just sit back and chill. The very good thing about him is that he gives the worksheets for each chap, which help your grade a little more. I like his class and I'm taking him again for chem 122 :)
I took his CHEM 105 class online, and it really does require self motivation to pass with a good grade. The textbook is a must have because the questions from the homework, quizzes, and exams are based from it. Despite being on online class, he requires that all exams must be taken at a CSN campus testing center. Weekly online quizzes are assigned.
HW, sample QZ & EXAMS are 90% plus not like real test. Students spends time doing them all and is mislead to think you got it then you fail. Definitely NOT the great professor in lecture or lab that people says he is. If could turn back time would choose another prof.
Such a great teacher. Can tell he likes what he does. Always has a ton of energy in class which helps make chem tolerable. Available for help in person or email with any problems leclab. Gives partial credit for short answer test questions. Would definitely take a class of his again.
He might be the best Chem teacher I have ever had. He really loves chemistry and his lectures are not boring because he is so passionate about the subject that it makes it interesting. He does worksheets to help you pick up the material. His test are not bad if you study but I would definitely take him again.
Mr. Garner was by far one of the best professors I have had. He is very passionate about Chemistry and his lectures are about as interesting as one can make Chemistry haha. Class moves fast, but it's Chemistry 121 and its a weeder course, so it's expected. Most "willing-to-help" teacher I've ever come across. If you're taking Chem 121, take him.
Dr. Garner is the best! I've had bad experiences with chem professors but he's extremely supportive , kind, approachable & wants u to succeed. U just have to put in the time. The 1st few chapters will be scary but it gets better. It's all about the amount of effort you're willing to put in. review testsquizzes are great . 4 tests 6 quizzes & final
2nd & 3rd time Chem 122 students do better in his class but not 1st timers. Had Dr. G for Chem 121 & did well but for Chem 122, was a totally different teaching styleperson. Presentation of course material was sloppy. Students often questions the points being made & begs for review but always referred to text which didn't help. Not as rated.
Professor Garner is an awesome professor! Chemistry is hard, but He really has a passion for chemistry and genuinely wants to help you understand it. When he's not in class he's in his office helping"bonding" with his students, and I appreciate that! He's a great professor !
I love Dr. Garner. Take him for lab. He is easily one of my favorite professors I've had thus far. He's someone you really want to hang out with because they're just that awesome to be around. He's always willing to answer questions and is very kind when it comes to grading. The three hours of lab are enjoyable because of him.
I had Dr. Garner for lab. Wish I had him for Gen Chem lecture too. Good professor, he explains things very succinctly, clearly. He makes lab fun. If you feel lost or have that brain fart moment, he is there to help you out and doesn't try to make you feel like a dolt, as some profs are wont to do. I enjoyed his class immensely. Weekly quizzes.
he is awesome. he really likes chemistry and you can tell. things that weren't clear in lecture he made clear in lab, i learned more in lab then lecture this semester.
The use of MasteringChemistry (MC) in this class is ridiculous. Overall grade is based on 5 quizzes, 11 MC hw sections, 11 group activities, and 1 comp. final that is nearly 25% of your grade. Garner uses Pearson slides, lectures, and products so he's regurgitating a pre-built class. Tests/quizzes/assignments do not match MC assignments. Good luck!
He's by far one of the best, he knows what he's doing, he's very helpful in or out of class, this class is hard, he makes it easier, you'll have quizzes every 2 weeks, you'll have worksheets, and tests, basically good ways of always improving your overall score. I'd highly recommend him, and would take him again for lecture. idk about his lab.
Awesome teacher. Passionate about teaching and chemistry.
He is a wonderful professor. I wasn't too excited to take chemistry, but he made it enjoyable and worthwhile. He knows the material like the back of his hand and is happy to help with anything a student needs. There are 5 quizzes, 4 tests, and a final. 11 group assignments and 11 online homework lessons. Not an excessive work load. Great class!
One of the best professors I've ever had. Chem professors at UNLV can't even compare to this man. Take him!!!
Probably the best chemistry teacher in the world! He has perfect lecture teaching techniques that engaged me to know exactly what is happening the first time being taught the information, so he is good at sticking information into your head during lecture. He is always there for you and enjoys teaching.
Professor Garner truly cares about his students. He was always so eager to help if extra help or clarification was needed. I have NEVER been good with Chemistry and I got an overall A in his online class. You take five exams (two chapters per exam) and a quiz a week on each chapter. He gives many opportunities for extra credit as well.
Had him for Chem 103 & 121. The material was tough, but he definitely helped clear things up and answered questions if you were lost on some concepts. His final was HARD. If you can take his lab as well take it. He didn't teach it for my semester so it kinda sucked. Overall, he's a great professor and is always willing to help.
Prof. Garner instilled in me a wonderful interest in Chemistry! He's very knowledgable, so he's able to explain most things pretty clearly and can answer questions easily too. We had four tests and a final exam. We also had at least one assignment per week that you could only get if you came to class, so attendance is important! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
DR. Garner is my most favorite professor at csn because of his way of teaching and always make his students focus on lectures. He always makes lectures more clear and understandable.
Hes by far the best chemistry professor you can take. He makes you feel comfortable, even if you think your questions may be dumb. Hes kind, very respectful, and helps his students in anyway he can. He has practice tests so you can have an idea of what youre expecting on the actual test. Super helpful!
I followed him from 103 to 121 with lab and he is the best prof at csn to teach Chem. He is thorough with his lecture to the point that my textbook is still brand new. All you need to do is your homework(mastering) and worksheets weekly. His exams are fairly easy, final is the hard part but he curved at the end according to average.
Hands down the best chemistry professor. Ive had him for chem103 and chem 121. He makes chemistry very easy to understand. Ive always struggled with chem and hes there to answer all my quesions. I would definitely take him again.
I love how organized Dr. Garner is with his lectures. He goes by the book and uses Mastering Chemistry for homework that helps A LOT with exams and understanding the subject. He has made learning chemistry easy for someone who has never learned it. I would definitely take CHEM 121 if it coordinated with my schedule!
Professor Garner is good professor and I wanted to take him for Chem121 but his classes are already full. He's available out side class and is willing to meet with you aside from his office hours. Class isn't hard but it is chemistry. He makes it as easy as possible. he offers extra credit. 3 exams plus a final which is a cumulative. Take him.
Professor Garner is an amazing chemistry professor. This is my first chemistry class i've taken in my life. I 'm going to take him for Chem 121. He is passionate about Chemistry and it shows in his lectures. There are 4 exams, 5 quizzes, 11 group activity sheets and homework every week.
DO NOT TAKE HIM! He is the worst professor when teaching. He speeds up lectures way too fast, he knows the info but students do not! His tests do not match his practice tests or his hw! CSN needs to hire better professor. If someone asked a question or told him to slow down, he would seem bothered. Please save yourself from taking him!
He really loves Chem & teaches it reasonably. Do the homework & study guides at home and ask in class. His lectures and tests are simple. If he says to memorize, do it. The final exam is easy if you do. Ask him questions, he doesn't mind.
Im currently taking him for 121 because i thought he had good reviews and let me tell you he just hands you worksheet after worksheet and doesn't explain very much and expects you to already know the info. or something. He has power points but hardy lectures and just goes off his brain, so im defiantly not taking him for chem 122
Prof Garner is truly an incredible teacher. The class is packed with many topics so it feels fast paced but he clearly articulates the material. His practice quizzes and exams are almost identical to the ones he gives in class. He is extremely fair when grading and he gives you all the materials you need to succeed. By far one of the best profs.
Do the online homework & worksheets. You will pass as long as you understand the concepts. Dr. Garner speaks clearly and answers every question. Practice exams and study quizzes are always available. Lots of office hours if you need to ask him questions after class. He's passionate about chem, and is the best choice if you haven't taken chem before
Mr. Garner was great. He cares about the students and genuinely wants everyone . to understand the material. He is fair with grading and the homeworks help with explaining further details and really memorizing the concepts. Some of the online homeworks took a really long time to finish, otherwise great class. I like chemistry now!
he is a good professor but he goes waaaayyyy too fast during lectures. he doesnt really explain how hes running through examples. he will just do them and then ask if we have questions at the end. he does give partial credit but you definitely have to work for it. class is hard in general so you will have to study everyday.
Amazing. Took Hudson for the Fall semester and it was tough with her, so I had to audit. I took it with Garner and he explained things way simpler than Hudson. 7 Quizzes (one dropped) 4 exams and a Final (no exams are dropped). He literally helps you during the exam. He is even accessible when you ask him for help. He is amazing + gives gd feedback
This is my second time taking Chem121 because its been so long since Ive been in school that it expired. But Prof Garner is the most amazing chem professor I have ever had, and Ive taken chem, ochem, bio chem. 12 reading quizzes, 12 homework assignments on MasteringChem, 10 worksheets, 4 exams. You can drop two quizzes, 1 homework, and one exam.
Absolutely wonderful professor. All classes I've taken mid-quarantine just makes me feel depressed and distant, but not Dr. Garner's. He has a very wholesome chuckle and encourages interaction in his class. I feel very comfortable messaging him and he explains things well. If you're a chemistry major, Dr. Garner won't let you down.
Prof Garner grades test quickly, basically the next day you have your grade. He is quick to respond to email questions. Make use of office hours if you have any questions. 4 exams during the semester which can be taken anytime during test day, the final is a full 2 hours and it's rough! I would not have passed without his help.
Dr Garner was a great introduction to chemistry. He makes things easy to understand and can truly teach. Lectures are organized and done well so you should attend class for sure. I 100% recommend this professor.
Dr. Garner is such a good professor. He takes time to explain how to do a problem or further clarify a topic. The only problem I have is that he doesn't grade in a timely manner and I'm kinda left in limbo on my exact grade.
This was my second time taking a class with Garner and honestly it felt like he kind of lost his spark. I think that had to do with being online now compared to in person. The class was still good and he makes everything make sense. The quizzes/tests arent proctored or anything which was nice because proctored tests can be extra stressful! 10/10
There's A LOT of homework, but it's helpful with learning the material. Dr. Garner is a caring professor, and he's always willing to help. You will have to put a lot of time and effort into this class if you want to have a good grade, but I think that's just the nature of Chemistry.
Prof. Garner's lab was really a fun class. I enjoyed all of the experiments, but the trick is in the detail. All the grades were clearly presented and Prof. Garner would go around all of the lab stations to make sure we were good. Overall a really entertaining class, assuming you pay attention.
Even though the homework would take 2-3 hours, he gave us a week to complete it as well as Activity worksheets and a quiz. Because the work was a lot, I had a better understanding of chemistry and I am taking him next semester.
I love Professor Garner. He explains concepts in-depth and in various ways. Pay attention to his lectures and participate to get the most out of his class. He NEVER shames for asking questions. He will also explain a concept in different ways in order to really understand the material. He makes chemistry a joy to take. Both lecture and lab.
The lecture material is dull and boring, but he makes it bearable. Always available during office hours. He is the perfect professor if you can just listen to a lecture and watch some practice problems be done and just grasp it. Graded on tests, quizzes, HW sheets, final, and lab. Quick to grade tests/quizzes, slow on HW.
I took Garner in the fall online for chem103 when campus wasn't open, he is amazing, always a clear grading criteria, throws jokes into lectures to make it more exciting. He provides blank exams on canvas to help study for tests. If you don't study you will fail. Put in the time and the grade will show. ALL IN ALL... TAKE GARNER!!!!
10/10 Take Garner, He makes dull Chem topics interesting and really cares about his students. I took him for both 103 and 121. quick to grade tests and quizzes. 4 exams, 1 final, homework and a quiz each week that are easy. I will be taking him for 122 as well.
Professor Garner is probably the best at CSN. He presents the info in an understandable way and wants to make sure all students are understanding the material. He's pretty clear about what will be on tests and quizzes, and isn't too harsh of a grader. He provides worksheets/practice quizzes that really help you practice the material. Take him!!
I took him for CHEM 103 and I am going to take him as long as I can. His lectures are amazing and you can pass without reading the textbook. He has 4 tests in which he gives study guides and blank tests with answer keys. He had us doing activity worksheets which really helped.
Garner makes chemistry fun! I love his passion for the subject. He gives great feedback and is not at all a tough grader. Exams are usually curved and the final exam is very much curved so do not stress about it too much. If most students miss the same question on an exam he will give us credit for it. His worksheets are great for practice; do them
Professor Garner is a great person, but the class its hard we begin with 40 student there were only 15 student's at the end. There's more than 5 worksheets per week plus there's 2 assignment on pearson per week that takes more than 2 hours to do. You need to give at least 4 hrs to this course after each class to pass.
I took lab with him, amazing professor! He demonstrates every important procedure before letting students start their lab experiments. There's always a quiz for pre-lab in the beginning of the class before every lab experiment, it is worth around 5/20 points. If you ever need help during your lab experiment, he is very understanding and helpful.
5 worksheets. 7 quizzes--lowest is dropped. 4 tests--none dropped. 1 final. nice and approachable. easy grader. sit in the front, ask questions, and work hard. study for quizzes and tests a few days in advance. i used the presentations on canvas as my main resource to study. i've been hearing he's rushing his chem 103 classes though.
I had him for CHEM103 and CHEM121 and I love how he teaches. He provides study guides to help with quizzes and exams. If he would teach Organic, that would be even better. 4 Exams and a final which has a lot of info. He lets us has 1/2 a sheet to fill with any formulas/notes we need.
Prof Garner really cares about his students, great lectures, gives you all the info you need in his lecture slides--I never used the textbook. He's approachable, responds to emails, and even goes over tough problems from quizzes and exams in class afterwards. If you attend lectures, take notes, study the practice quizzes, you will pass.
Class is definitely challenging but tutoring helps a lot. He gives out worksheets to do for practice which are due at the end of the semester. Tests(4) are composed of around 11 "math" questions, and the rest are multiple choice. Homework is very time-consuming and you need to purchase it (~$100). No midterm, there is a final.
Garner is a good professor and does a good job of trying to teach material that is simply very difficult. he is trying to prep you for organic chem and has very little homework for you to do, it is on you to get practice problems done, but attending SI helps ALOT. plenty of practice tests and quizzes, and lots of good notes. if you focus you pass.
A lot of extra credit opportunities. Dr Garner provides detailed examples & walkthroughs in class that will be on the test. Practice tests w/ similar questions to actual tests are given. One test dropped. No quizzes. He likes to crack jokes occasionally. Lenient grader. Office hours significantly contributed to how I was able to excel in his class.
This professor honestly destroyed any confidence I had left in chemistry and teaches FAR TOO FAST. This class is paced like an 8 week summer course taken back to back. I took from this professor in fall of 2022 and I REGRET IT SO MUCH. DO NOT TAKE FROM MARK GARNER EVEN IF ITS YOUR LAST RESORT!!!!!!!
Took Garner for Chem 121 & 122 and he taught both courses very well. Garner is a great lecturer and walks through many practice problems. His practice exams are very similar to his exams. Exams have extra credit opportunities! If you have any concerns, you can go to his office hours and he is more than happy to help. Overall 10/10 recommend!
There's a reason why his classes are the first to fill up! He's been teaching at CSN for over 20 years and is well respected. He truly cares if you don't understand the material and will walk you through the homework activities so you actually learn how to work out problems. Makes the classroom a warm environment for those who struggle with chem.
Garner is probably the most chill professor I've had at CSN. He's so nice and always willing to help when you ask for it during office hours, like he actually wants you to do well! I wish he was teaching O-chem
He is a really good professor willing to work problems out with you and happy to answer questions if needed. I challenge with chemistry but I'm glad he was my professor.
Love this dude.
Students can bring one formula sheet per test or quiz in Garner's class. The tests are challenging and carry a lot of weight. It's not worth doing the practice tests or quizzes because they are mostly different from the actual tests. If you don't want chemistry to consume your life for the semester, I would recommend choosing a different professor.
Best chem professor. Hands down. Amazing lectures. Cares about his students. Had 7 quizzes (lowest one is dropped), and 4 tests with one cumulative final. His lectures cover what will be on the test, so just pay attention and you'll pass. Garner is the guy you take if you wanna learn and pass Chem 122. Take him!
Prof Garner is super chill and really wants students to succeed. The tests are tough but he provides great support - study guides, practice quizzes, and office hours. Plus, Unstuck ai is a lifesaver for extra Chemistry prep!
Dr. Garner is awesome! He's very chill, provides good feedback, and cracks jokes. His study guides are very similar to his exams, 4 exams with extra credit, lowest dropped, and one final. Homework and assignments will boost your grade!! His office hours were helpful. Choose him if you're struggling in chemistry, he would get you through! :))
His lectures are kind of fast but its a lot of information to cover and he uploads all the material he covers on canvas. A few homework assignments; grade depends mainly on quizzes and tests. He provides practice quizzes/tests and lets you use a cheat sheet for everything including the final which helps a lot. Recommend if you want a good grade.
The class is very fast-paced. The professor is nice, but there is so much information at once. I would not recommend this class if you're taking other classes while working. I've taken four credit classes easier than this class. I would not recommend this class if you have a busy schedule unless you have a solid foundation in chemistry already.
