hes a little crazy, and gets off the subject A LOT, but thats ok bc I hate math. he will help you if u dont understand, and he never makes you feel dumb for asking anything.

Hes great at making you laugh to ease the tention in the room. So in that respect I think he is great to have for an instructor. He does make things easy to understand. Wait till I tell him he has a rating LMAO!

Great teacher. Looked forward to his classes. Makes learning fun and breaks it down so you can understand. He does get off track but has a lot of helpful information that can help you in other classes. Very informative. He does not like English teachers. :-) If you do the homework you will do well in class. He reviews before most of his tests.

I had Mark for Math 031 and 032 and learned so much. I didn't have the same experience in his Math 101 class. He just didn't seem as passionate about teaching this class. He likes to put trick questions on his tests but gives partial credit which is very helpful.

Great teacher! very helpful, trick is to do what he says and do everything he gives you! Had a great time in this class, wish I could take him for 102.

He is the best teacher that I ever had in Math. He is so good and his class was very interesting. I've learned a lot from his class. He is very helpful. You just have to do your homework. His test was a piece of cake if you spend time on your homework. I advised you all to take his class you will never regret it. You will have fun with his class.

Mark is a great teacher, but you have to ask the questions if you don't understand!!! I don't just hate math... I loath it!! But, because he is able to explain things 10 different ways, I actually pulled a B out of this class. He gave me the foundation I needed to get an A in Math 102. (I haven't made an A in a math class since the 6th grade):)

He was the best math teacher I ever had and the first time I ever earned an A in a math class. But with a lot of hard work, his help and the math center I DID it!!! Awesome teacher. Wish he taught Stats..lol.

I sure wish I had him this semester..already miss the stories. He was an awesome instructor, just don't get him started on political conversations...or maybe should. He really does care about his students and that they grasp the concepts.

Ok so this class just started and he mentioned this website. So far he is pretty amusing, but what I really like so far, is that he really seems to care that we understand the subject. I honestly don't know how to use this calculator and he took time making sure we got it..I don't feel stupid in this class. I might even ask a question or two. Whew.

He is the best teacher. I had a C in 101 and I have an A+ in his class. He gives some extra credit and doesn't load tests with all the hard stuff. He talks a lot about stuff unrelated to class but he's at least interesting and makes some good points. Definitely recommend him.

I was dreading taking another math class, but Mark definately makes this class interesting. He really cares about his students. If anyone is looking for a teacher that cares he is the one.

I hated all math until I got Mr. G as a teacher.He explains thing 1, 2 or three different ways until you understand it. He talks about everything in class be it politics, kayaking, skiing, and when you think there is no way for him to wrap it back around to math he finds a way. He is great!

Mr. G however is AWESOME. I actually have a grade worth putting down on paper. He will help you and he hinks out of the box. If you have had problems in math (like moi) please take this man's class. If you have been afraid of math, he gives you a chance to LEARN it. He is a little scatterbrained but Good with it. Lots of extra points on test too!

I learned alot of new math tricks that would have changed my opinion about math at a younger age had I learned them. H eis a good teacher and will let you disagree with him and not take it personally.

I highly recommend Mr G. He is amazing in his teaching style becase you LEARN not just retain for the semester. I am taking him again for 102! He's also nice and charming and if you have to be out he is not a upset about it like the other people that call themselves teachers. He will help you as much as he can but he is so good u usually know it!

best damn math teacher at gtech... Took his 5week 102 this summer. Took me 5 times to pass this class and finally did with him as my instructor!!

Mr. G was an enjoyable teacher. He is very helpful, very fair on the tests and also offers some extra credit. He likes to talk and sometimes you need to just tune him out and work on the given problems. Sometimes there is a little cramming before tests but again he is a fair teacher. I would of liked to have him for 110 if he was teaching it..

Very good teacher. Explains the subject well and offers a lot of help to the students. Not only does he give an extremely clear understanding over math, but he makes the class entertaining with some of the off subject things he says. I'd say if anyone is attending Greenville Tech and you get him as a teacher, you're more than well off.

I liked him very much very good teacher. He will keep working with you til you get it. Gives partial credit if you show your work and you tried even if it's the wrong answer in the end. Gonna try to take him for 102 as well.

Mr Gollwitzer is the BEST!!!!!He is fun and treats everybody with respect. Being in his class makes you WANT to learn Math because you feel like somebody finally has your back!!! I highly recommend Mr Gollwitzer to anyone who wants an AWESOME math teacher. : )

He is really helpful.teaches us 3 different ways to solve one problem. I hate fractions, especially dividing them but he made them seem like a piece of cake. He always talks about what he reads,see's on tv, etc. but transforms it into a math equation. oddly awesome guy and great teacher.

Mr. Golliwitzer has a way about teaching that sneaks up on you. He maked class fun and down to earth. He has a way with telling stories that makes you think about not only math but life. I loved sitting under his tooliage.

I have taken Mr. Gollwitzer class for 2 semesters. I would just like to say if you have ever had trouble with Math then you sould take Mr. Gollwitzer's class... have a good semester..

Mr Gollwitzer is that rare teacher who understands that some of us are terrified of Math and does his best to take that fear away. He makes it okay to ask questions and make mistakes and he treats everyone with respect.I have learned so much. Everyone I know who has had him LOVES him including myself. Professor G-Witz is a mathmatical genius. His teaching was are sorta un-ethical but it works and works very well. I believe that all math teachers should have to go through a course with Mr. G-Witz in order to be able to teach math at any level. Its also cool to have a professor like his job so much, which makes him have fun while hes teaching.

This man is awesome! I was horrible at math and then I had him and everything makes since! He's still teaching so get him while you can!

I was really lucky to have Mark Gollwitzer for Math 032 and 101, I definitely plan to catch him for 102 and I definitely recommend him to anyone, while he does talk alot about random things sometimes he does a great job of teaching and is very patient with his students and willing to take the time to help them understand everything.

I believe he can teach any one who is willing to learn. I would recommend him to any one taking any math that he teaches.

If you are willing to learn, Mr. G will teach you. As a teacher, he does his job well. As a person, he is one of the nicest on campus and is friendly everywhere you see him. His humor kept the class going and was all tied into Math.

if you take 101 or 102 math this is the guy you want, he is hilarious, and a super laid back guy.

He made sure everyone understood what we were learning. Wanted to have him again for 101, but he doesn't teach when I am available. He made class interesting with his witty personality.

Mr. Gollwitzer is a great teacher. He makes it seem like you're not even in math... it's awesome. I would definitely recommend him to any student. I took his emporium math 102 and we didn't use the textbook but I'm sure in his other classes it is needed.

Mr. Gollwitzer is a very good teacher! Be ready to hear lots of stories about random things and corny jokes! Super sweet guy, caring and full of life! Fun class, can get kind of boring when he goes on and on about his random stories but you will learn a lot if you listen to him. Would recommend him!

I had him for fast track Math 031 & 032. He gets off topic a lot but at the end of each class session you'll know what's going on in the lesson. Doesn't care about students being on their phones because it's you grade, not his.

Mr. Gollwitzer changed my life!! Recommend this awesome instructor to anyone who has difficulties in maths. I'm on my way to become an engineer thanks to him.

After failing my first semester of math I was very skeptical about passing my next semester. Mark is a great teacher and made the math very simple for me. He does get off topic very easily for quite amount of time; he lets you know what all is on the test and gives easy tricks to help remember how to do problems

Great professor. He does talk a lot about stuff that you don't think will go along with the course but the guy knows his stuff, and he knows how to teach. As long as you pay attention and make an effort to learn how he teaches you to attack a problem, you should have no problem passing.

Prof Gollwitzer is a great instructor. There are times he rambles on, but seriously the class is so easy that there is time to spare, so why not talk about other stuff. He makes math simple and easy to understand. Would definitely recommend and take again! Give him a chance, and show up for class -- you should have no problem passing his class.

Professor G has a sarcastic attitude, if you understand it.. its very funny. I enjoyed the class. He jumps around a lot from conversation to conversation.

Mr. Gollwitzer is the best instructor Ive ever had. Every math class Ive had since elementary, I have barely passed. But with Mr. Mark, I finished with a 90. He will go off topic, but it usually has something to do with the course. If you pay attention, which you should be doing anyways, you will pass no problem. I would take his class again.

Mr. Gollwitzer really helped me gain confidence in Math. After taking MAT 100 with him, I went on to pass Prob&Stat with a B, which I never felt was possible. Mr. G makes class fun and provides real life context to the Math problems. Any negative reviews are probably from Students who failed to apply themselves.

Professor Gollwitzer will teach you everything you need to know. Be present in class and pay attention and you will walk out with ATLEAST a B. He is a very funny guy. He likes talking and gets off track sometimes, however somehow it always circles back to what you are learning. I highly recommend if you don't mind showing up to class.
