Before this class I didn't care for politics (with the exception of the Daily Show), but Guerrieri has a way of making it fun and interesting while you learned the course objectives. He is a little quirky, but very funny and interesting. Highly, highly recommended!

This guy his a sweet teacher, he plays a lot of current event videos off the internet and he actually cracks some good jokes while teaching. Very good teacher!

Mark was a great teacher. Class was easy and I learned quite a bit. There is a large portion of the class spent watching current events videos which was kind of boring.

he is a very nice professor. he makes his class interesting. he jokes during his lecture, but he goes so fast and there is no time for us to react. i think he is acturally a very funny guy. you can do good on test if you attend his classes. book can be helpful. i discovered that politics can be fun after taking this class with this professor

I took this class as a hybrid, which is the best way to take it because you only have lecture once a week and you turn in assignments online with variable due dates. If you go to class once a week and pay attention that is all you have to do to get a good grade-no need for a book! The best part is that he made current events interesting!

If your looking for a easy 4 point and don't want to buy another text book this is your class. Biggest advice just go to class and turn in your paper, and midterm, and you'll walk out of this class with a 4 point.

Professor Guerrieri was crystal clear in his syllabus and directions. I learned more than I ever dreamed about politics from Dr. Guerrieri. He did an excellent job preparing us for each of the exams.

Mark is hilarious! You rarely use the textbooks, just take notes he provides in powerpoint slides. On test, if you write an answer that somewhat relates to the question, he'll give you full credit. He extended our deadline for term limits paper from mid Nov. until the the last day of class. He is AWESOME! Dont buy book, he emails powerpoint slides!

Very well respected in the political community. I went from intern to paid legislative staffer in the State Capitol. I could not have done it without him.

He is cross between Bill Maher, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. I have never absorbed so much political information in such a short period of time. He certainly holds your attention for 2 hours. If it is discussed in class you will see it on the exam.

Ladies and Gentlemen: Mark Guerrieri cares about the everyday student and understands that life issues (such as being hit by a car) do come up. Everyone says it's an Easy 'A' and they are correct, however you earn your A. Even if you hate politics, you have a new respect for them after taking the class. You walk away with something more than an A.

I absolutely love Dr. Guerrieri! I am taking this online class now and he is fantastic. His class is very basic and easy to follow along, just stay on top of all the work. I actually used the textbook because it makes life easier but you don't really need it. He has quizzes every wednesdays which are easy. Overall a great prof! take this class!

I took this class online and loved how simple it was to follow along! Each week is planned out the same so there are no surprises thrown into your already busy schedule. The units are very basic, which helped me going into this class not knowing much about politics. By far one of the best online classes I've taken!

Would definitely take Mark again. Almost no reading required, offered extra credit for speakers in class. Two exams, department final and a 5 page paper were all that was required. Easy class, great teacher.

Prof. Guerrieri made this class a piece of cake. He made it very clear when things were due, how they were graded, and how you did. The quizzes are nothing to sweat over and if you do the reading the homework is easy to do. The hardest part of this class was the current events report, which have to be 3-4 paragraphs, and even that isn't that bad.

Dr. Mark is a excellent professor. He encourages us to engage in critical thinking. He brings a huge number of current events related to the topic into class lecture. He uses several short interesting political clips during each lecture. He must spend many hours preparing for a current lecture for each class. He also wants to hear students in group

He is a nice person and a great professor. After taking POLS 120, he got me an awesome government internship. He is constantly updating lecture to make them current and timely. Two thumbs up!

Professor Guerrieri made learning very interesting. Everything I learned in the semester was important to take note of for the departmental final at the end of the semester. He responded to emails quickly and efficiently and had the students best interest in mind. He was clear on the grading criteria and gave really good feedback.

Online class with the typical workload but everything is super easy. All the quizzes have the answers online and your current event papers can be done quickly and easily get full credit. The final exam is just compiled of 60 questions of his quizzes and multiple choice. Very easy to talk to and very understanding. Highly respected and very smart.

Dr. Mark is an excellent teacher. He truly wants his students to do well. He spends many hours updating his lectures each day. He encouraged me to do a State Capitol Internship. I changed my major to Political Science because of him.

The most prepared Prof I have ever taken. He presents and reviews all the latest political news stories related to lecture. It make for great class discussions. He also invites great federal, state and local politicians to take questions from students in a press conference format. I highly recommend his classes!!!

Dr. Mark is my absolute favorite professor! I have taken three of his classes (one was online and the others were hybrid) and his expectations were very clear and fair for both. He knows his stuff and seems to be a kind person as well. Both classes required 2 assignments, 1 quiz, and 1 2 pg essay every 2 weeks, but these were all easy! 10/10!!!
