He is one of the best teachers I've taken - VERY ORGANIZED! You do have to work had in his classes but it's worth it - you need to drive the class, he wants his students to THINK! (I love that!)

I have taken 3 different classes with Mark. He's a great teacher and I learned alot with him. He even does Field trips (county jail). That was interesting!!Great teahcer!!

Dr. G was a great online teacher. He is very clear in his expectations and helps if you have questions. He encourages discussion and his quizzes were very fair. I would take him again in a heartbeat. I love the way he organizes his classes.

I have had Dr. Guillette four times. He encourages open discussions in class and tries to get his students to learn the subject he is teaching by using the real world. If you fail this class it's your own fault, with SOME work you can get an A.

Great Professor! He's funny and open-minded. I took him for Tech for Educators. Some online quizzes are a bit wordy, but other than that, the quizzes will appear on the exit Final. Easy grader when properly using the equipments in class. Good luck!

I only had class with him once a week. Yes, he has us in groups teaching on assigned days but you leave with learning something because class discussions can bring out a storm of opinions. The discussion forum was always interesting & controversial!

Dr.Guillette simply ROCKS. He keeps the class focused and entertained as well. He is smart,funny and FAIR. He asks and cares what the student has to say about the topic in class.Take him,100% fun class.

Great professor and interesting class. He makes his expectations known. Very strict policy on being late. If you're late, you have to teach for 10 min. Application paper was easy enough as long as you follow guidelines. Interesting teaching style and great videos. Makes you view things differently.

He a good teacher, I also like his teaching style also. If you read every chapter and do the reviews you will pass his quizzes and he do his application paper by the guidelines you'll be okay.

A few years ago I took Dr Guillette's class at Barry University called "Death and Dying." It was a very challenging class. Because I needed to take an elective to finish up, I took his class at Valencia. He is a very strict professor, but if you follow his syllabus to a "T", you'll get an "A."

For his online classes he is very lineant and allows a week for you to take 2 quizzes per week. You "do" have to read the book, however he is not tricky and the paper in his classes are fair and short. I got an A and I feel you can too!

I didn't have to take this class but I did. I was not inpressed at all. He says read 4 chapters over and over again before the test. No direction on exams. I did get an A but he doesn't give them often. I have heard his online class is better. Try other Sociology teachers 1st.

I never met him but whenever I needed help he was there. The class is broken down to read a chapter take a 20 question quiz. Post at least 1 comment a week. 1 paper(Easy to do). the only thing that sucks is a cum. final at the osceola campus. YOu are lucky if you take him online b/c its easier than other online classes! I recommend!

What an easy class! The professor was so helpful when I emailed him with questions. I would take another class with him anyday. Easy class and fun too.

This class was NOT hard at all. You just have to do the work. I didn't read the book either. I skimmed through and used the lecture notes, and online quizzes from the book to help me study. I got an A in his class.

He is awesome. He actually allows you to critically think and question the world around you. It is refreshing realy.

I took the online class and enjoyed it. I feel I learned a lot and opened my mind. Very organized and great communication. If you put in the effort, it will pay off. I would recommend taking his online class.

Prof Guillete is very hard but by the end of the class you will learn something. I didn't have to agree with everything he says, I just do the work and take the quizzes and did fine. The out of field paper is challenging, it makes you go out of your comfort zone and experience life. Very good teacher. Easy class to get an "A"

Not as bad as everyone is saying and he drops your lowest test grade. Just read the summaries/vocab at the end of each chapter and you'll do good on his tests. Also follow his guidelines for the final project and you'll do fine. I got an A. He rambles on about things and makes you question everything, overall i enjoyed it.

I found the online course easy overall. He provides more than enough time for quizzes and the required project in the class. If you want to learn Sociology, this is the guy to take. The final is easy if you study the quizzes!

To be honest, I was scared of the grade I would recieve from Prof. Guillette. I had heard a lot of things from other students who had had him in the past. So, I was surprised that after I turned in all of the paperwork from my internship he had given me an A in the class. This teacher has a lot of expectations but hes fair when it comes to grading

I loved this class, it honestly became the most life changing class I've ever had. You have to apply yourself to what he's teaching and honestly be open about what he has to say. Overall the class was very easy for me, like most college courses you really need to study the text, NOT memorize, and grasp the concept. He's also really big on critical

Ok, I don't know why so many bad reviews in here. He's a good teacher, the class was very interesting, I guess you should avoid taking it online. He's very liberal and wants you to be very open-minded. There's about 4 tests, all of which were not hard if you paid attention in class and read the text. One project, basically no HW.

Awesome teacher! I learned a lot in his class and he relates to his students. He did our class a little differently because he wanted to teach it another way. He did all of the tests and quizzes online.

Great Teacher! Took his hybrid online class, be prepared to read EVERY chapter he assigns & take the corresponding quiz right after. Must also participate in discussions once a week. Overall I did learn quite a bit about sociology. I recommend this teacher!

professor is very interesting, he tries to get you to think for yourself, and is always in a good mood. all of my quizzes (there weren't any tests) were online and you really don't have to go to class but its fun so i don't see why you wouldn't... take him he's awesome!!

Mr.Guillet is an awsome teacher. His quizzes are ALL online and not very hard. His class time and discussions are very intersesting,never had a boring day in class. Takes us to field trips and does OUTRAGEOUSLY funny class outings around the school.lol Im still recalling ours, Hillarius! The text book is a definate.VERY cool and laid back,Take Him!

the lectures are fun, but i cant recall taking notes from a lecture and being able to use it on a test. i love his guests speakers. he genuinely cares, i can tell. he's a nice guy, i'd take him again if i had to. highlight theories in your book & peoples names!! quizzes online are kinda easy, but you may need your book.

AWSOME TEACHER!!! He makes the class very interesting. We even get to go on field trips! His tests are on-line making it VERY easy to pass. His final is from the prior tests online! Took his online sociology class...very interesting and easy! As long as you do the discussions and READ each chapter you will make an A. Quiz questions come from each chapter and the final is similar to the quizzes. Would recommend taking his class!

Just finished his class online with an A. I wouldn't say it's a super easy class, but it worked for me. About 15 quizes (from 15 chapters) and a final comprehensible exam (50 questions) about 20 of them from the quizzes. Book is expensive so I purchased an older version and it is fine for the quizzes and discussions

Took the class online over the past summer term. U must read material provided and textbook and you will definitely get an A. But at the end you will get out of the class what you put in it. If taken online there is lots of blogging to do but you do learn a lot. I really enjoyed the class.

He is such an awsome teacher you NEED to take him! His class is fun and interesting and you actually learn stuff that is relevant to your life. You do need the book and you do need to read everything he tells you to. The quizes are really easy and we even got to go on three awsome fieldtrips. TAKE HIM!

He is clear, and very nice. You must stay caught up on your work because there's limited time for quizzes and discussions and no extra credit. Listen in class, participate, and do the work and you should do ok. The field trips, movies, and speakers were awesome in my opinion. Easy A or B for most.

Great prof. There are three mandatory field trips that are loads of fun. There are also about nine quizzes that are very easy; all the answers are in the book. He drops the lowest quiz grade. Attendance is factored into your participation grade, and a discussion post is required every week,, but they are extremely easy, you just answer a question.

FANTASTIC professor! He made taking Intro to Sociology a wonderful experience. The class includes weekly discussion posts, weekly online quizzes, and three really great field trips! You can really tell that professor Guillette really loves what he teaches. You will not regret signing up for him!

Good teacher overall. Don't forget to do the quizzes and discussions every week. Never be late! He counts you late even if is by one minute. It also counts against your grade. Some of the tests can be hard but use the book. The field trips are a lot of fun and Ill recommend going to all of them. He tries to make the class fun.

He is a GREAT teacher. TAKE HIM! He has set up opportunities where you learn a lesson and then he takes you on a field trip to really experience it. He also gets into the lectures and the lectures are never boring! He is extremely far-left wing in politics and it can get awkward sometimes.

This was a FLEX class and it was really easy. Just do your weekly discussions (plus respond to any 4 posts) and you don't have to do it by chapter, meaning some chapters you may reply to completely and others you won't post on them at all. Also weekly quizzes, on quizlet btw. Real easy. Would take again. Interesting class to say the least.

He is a great professor. Very funny and opens your eyes to reality. He gives alot of work but the class itself is interesting.

This was an online class so I did not get the chance to get to know this professor but based on his introduction, his way of organizing the classwork and his clear expectations, he was good to me. I did well on my exams and my papers, however b/c I did poorly in participation, my grade suffered. I am retaking him b/c the grade I got was my fault.

I took Professor Guillete online and had a great experience! He requires you post two discussion posts a week and take a quiz every week as well. Quizzes are due Mondays by 11:55pm. You also have to read other students postings as well! Really easy class and not a difficult work load.

One of my favorite professors, took him at the Poinciana campus for spring. All of our class meetings were mainly lectures but they were lectures that are super interesting and leave you with a lot to think about! The work load is not crazy, two discussion posts a week and the online quizzes. You will not regret taking him!

Pros: He's a super cool guy. As long as you're a good student, he'll accommodate as needed. His assignments are pretty easy and quick and the discussions are super interesting. Cons: Honorlock.

Amazing professor. 2 quizzes every week and a discussion every 2 weeks. Very easy quizzes and easy discussions. Pretty much every test is on quizlet and they are just common sense as well. Very easy to reach. This professor really wants you to succeed. If you want an easy A, take him.

Honestly still taking him but really easy class as long as you do your work. Particular about discussion posts but after the first two you understand the criteria. Quizzes based on textbook & all on quizlet (use socratic). Pretty interesting topics and genuine guy. 1-2 discussion posts and a quiz every week, no major projects/papers.

Forgot to mention, uses LOCKDOWN BROWSER not honor lock. I take him fully online not sure if it's subject to change ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
