If you have the chance to take Dr. Hollier's class - do it. He is a Jedi of his craft. This man will make you understand A&P. You can get an A, but you will work for it. I cannot image taking a better A&P class.

This was my second time taking Mr. Hollier, and I absolutely love him! All assignments, H.W, quizzes, tutorials, are taken via the mastering website. His tests are pretty straight forward if you're keeping up with material. He offers up to 10 pts extra after each test. If you are taking him for micro, make sure you know those "important topics."

Dr. Hollier is an encouraging biology professor. You are guaranteed a good grade if you are willing to work for it. He gives clear objectives. He posts all the learning modules online. He gives exam statistics. He goes one step further with a higher standard than many other professors here in teaching. Good for GPC.

Greeeeaaaat teacher! Really enjoyed his class. A little to no homework and you get a grade just for showing up! Does get a little boring but then again... It's college lol not too many things are exciting. Overall I recommend everyone who needs this class to TAKE HIM! easy A. Very hard to fail his class.

Great instructor. Took him online for micro lecture and in class for lab. Very clear of what needs to be done, lots of work, lots of materials to help you learn. At the end you really know your stuff. Great prep for nursing, if you can't handle this then you probably can't handle nursing. Definitely recommend unless you're a slacker.

Dr. Hollier Is Awesome! Give Extra Credit, very approachable, organized, knowledgeable about the subject, & desire students success. 4 test, 1 drop. Do the Mastering assignment, it add up huge to your grade. He Grades fair. He is not hard but the material is challenging. You must read to pass; result depend on your input. Recommended!!

DO NOT TAKE HIS LAB I AM WARNING YOU! He is great with lecture and take his extra credit when he offers it to you! Most likely he will no offer it in the future! Make sure you always come to class. Just make sure you study and don't cheat he will find out! That mistake will condemn the whole class with lockdown browser, you don't want that.

He is great for lab. The others probably didnt want to do the work. The work is easy if you read the lab guide he gives and follow his directions. He tells you word for word what to write and yet some people still cannot do that. He will look over your work for you before turning it, except the unknown report. Definitely take him if you can.

Prof Hollier is an amazing teacher. There were only 2 written lab reports in Micro lab and he gave you half of both of them word for word if you wrote it down. He would also check your lab reports if you had them done at least 3 days before the due date. You have to prepare before class or you won't know what your doing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Great class and teacher. Dr Hollier is very helpful and knows the material. He helps you if you need it & go to him. His tests are about normal & he tests you each week. I took this course with a different instructor last semester with only 4 tests. That was too much material on a single test. Weekly tests make it more manageable. Highly recommend.

You have to be motivated to take any online class. Prof H provides extensive learning materials including recorded lectures. Test are weekly more frequent & covering less material. They are multiselect & paragraph questions, which is challenging at first, but get easier when you've done some. He drops 4 tests and homeworks. You will learn!

I took Dr H in class for A&P and online for Micro. All classes require you to work regularly & retain the info from A&P for Micro. You have to apply your knowledge, not just memorize info. Tests are tough if you don't put the time into the course. Set a schedule for your study time & stick to it. He will prepare you for future courses.

I took Dr. Hollier for AP I and he's a true gem! Clear grading criteria, responds quickly to emails, and truly wants to see his students succeed. He's the best professor I had! You have to work for your A but it's attainable! Can't wait to see him this fall!

I took Dr H for Micro online. I took him for A&P1 and 2 in class. His online lecture is setup just like his in class lectures except you don't go to class. He gives lots of materials to help you learn. He cares that his students learn and is flexible with assignment dates. I would definitely recommend him, but take A&P1+2 first.

I took him for HAP 1 and his class is great! It was my favorite class out of all the classes I've taken so far. You don't really have to read the book bc all his lectures are so in depth; it's great. But I read the book for fun bc human physiology is just so interesting. I LOVE the subject. His class is not very complicated; just do ur work ppl!!

He is very difficult and makes that known. A lot of people dropped out bc he is hard. But I feel like I learned so much bc I had to be on top of everything and couldn't slack. Very knowledgeable about the subject. He makes you print off many additional notes, but it is worth it and I know I will use them in the future. Best prep for nursing school.

Dr. Hollier is an amazing teacher. I took him for anatomy and physiology. There are a lot of test for his class but he offers extra credit for them. A&P I. Loved this class! There are two portions to the weekly tests, paragraph and multi-select (not multiple choice). Your highest grade from the multi-select portion is accepted as you are allowed to take it twice. The weekly tests can be overwhelming but keep you on track. You are allowed to request extensions! I took Dr. Hollier for Microbio lab in the summer, this course is rigorous especially during a summer term, but Dr. Hollier's teaching style really helped me exceed. He gives great feedback, has a clear grading criteria, and although you have to work for your grade, his class is well worth it. I loved lab !After this class I changed my major to Bio

Took Dr H for AP1 & AP2. Amazing teacher. Clear explanations in class. Provides you with lots of resources to study from. Very helpful outside of class. Ignore the previous 3 comments that were obviously written by the same person. Dr H class was great. There were some slackers who think everything should be given to them. This is not an easy A, but you learn a lot. For your career, that is better. Take Dr H if you can.

Prof Hollier is an amazing teacher. He cares for his students, inspires you, and makes his expectations clear. His lectures are a must & you will learn a lot. Tests are weekly (1-2 chapters), which means less material to study for each test. This was way better than 4-6 chapters per test with other instructors. Tests are done online. Take him.

Dr H is a great teacher. You learn a lot but have to put in the effort yourself. This is not a cake class. This is a class for future nurses who want to learn & be prepared for nursing school. After reading the negative comments, I laughed, and then thought of the students who did not put in the effort, skipped class, & complained all the time.

I took his A&P lecture. Excellent! However, his Micro lab Fall 2018 was extremely stressful. Xcredit, great tutoring, but stern/harsh style in Lab, specifically the "unknown" assignment. If you have a thick skin, go ahead, his teaching surpasses all others. One slight misstep, just know he'll call you out. He doesn't miss a thing!

Dr. Hollier is fabulous! He clearly outlines what is expected and quickly weeds out the slackers and expects you to know in detail key concepts from A&P 1 and 2 for Micro. He is quick to reply to emails and makes himself readily available to give extra help if you need it. He is dedicated to putting out the best in the health field!

There are so many GREAT FEATURES about Hollier; shame I can only pick 3! He is an AMAZING instructor who cares about his students and retaining the material. His lectures are superb as he breaks things down and any question you may have, he always has an answer, no matter how dumb. He gives you an option to do extra credit work for better grades :)

I love prof. Hollier. I wanted to take him again for A&P2 but his classes were full. He gives lots of extra credit and is flexible with deadlines. His lectures are very in-depth and he is the best teacher to take for pre-nursing students. He makes the information interesting and tells corny jokes from time to time. Take him!! A++++

It is hard to fail Hollier's class; you would have to not do ANY work! He has a passion for teaching and seeing students succeed. He has tests/extra credit to help you retain the info! Professor Hollier was amazing. Took him for a&p 1 lecture and lab during summer semester. A&P is going to be a difficult class regardless but he does try to help to make It easier. There is a lot of work and tests but he gives many opportunities for extra credit. You will not pass giving half the effort. You will definitely need a text book. 10/10.

Prof H online micro is great. Make sure you take a and p first, are self-motivated, and can read. If you follow the schedule and instructions you will do fine. Many students didnt read the schedule for online discussions and ranted, but looking at dates in the schedule is not difficult! You will work hard, but it is worth it.

Best online class I have ever taken. If you do the work, study, watch his recorded lectures, and have taken anatomy and physiology 1 and 2 first, then its an easy A. Weekly tests with less content on each test than when you get 4 tests in the semester. If you reach out to him then he goes above and beyond to help you. highly recommend.

Took Dr H for online Micro. There are weekly tests that cover less material than when you get a few tests in the semester. Each test is worth less towards your grade. Most of the class are still here, not many dropped. 2 or 3 complain because Dr H expects you to actually work, but it is worthwhile. Listen to him about taking A&P first. Take him!

Good online micro lecture. Expect to work, but grades quickly and fairly. Dont slack off and pay attention to the schedule of assignments. Ive taken many online classes and this one provided the most materials to learn from. As with most online classes, dont think its easier. Some drop when they realize they cant cheat or need to work.

Dr. Hollier is the best!!! I took him for both anatomy 1 and 2 for lab and lecture. He is a very strict teacher but in a good well. He is very understanding and wants you to pass. He gives multiple opportunities for extra credit. You will do a lot of work in his class but its worth It because It makes your grade higher. Just do everything he says.

Your crazy not to take him! He provides alot of course work but it's for your benefit. Test are multi select mastering required extra credit opportunities. Dr. Hollier will help you as much as he can. He is direct and to the point. Don't take him if your lazy or a procrastinator. I scored high in the biology section of my entrance exam for nursing.

Prof H was an amazing teacher for online. he provides you with everything you need to succeed. However, you need to actually do the work not just expect to be given an A. Make sure you take A&P before this class. Prof H wants his students to succeed, but also wants to prepare them for the medical field. Course was not hard if you studied.

Summer A&P1 with Dr H was tough but worth it. I learned a lot and thankful for his teaching style. His tests are tough if you dont study enuff. But he provides everything you need to do well. Expect lots of work. It is not like a history class where you memorize things, so expect to think about the material. If you want it easy, take someone else.

Tests are select all that apply & essay & are open book. If you think open book means you can just look up the answers and get an easy 100, guess again. If you want to learn and do well on the TEAS test then take Professor Hollier. I took him for A&P and Micro and aced the TEAS. My friend took someone else and they did not prepare her for the TEAS.

Microbiology with Mr Hollier is great. I went to his tutoring hours and he helped me a lot. The course is not easy, but working at each day makes it easier. The tests definitely prepared me for the TEAS. I am now in nursing and I can see how what he taught applies to my courses now. His important topics saved me so much in nursing. TAKE HIM

I took Dr Hollier for minimester A&P. It was fast and hard, but I learned a lot. I earned an A in both lecture and lab. Make sure you watch his lectures and take notes. His tests come from those lectures! Expect to work hard and have no life.

You have to work out your own time as there are no live sessions online. Everything is recorded to watch on your time. He did have tutoring at different times each day which helped. If you dont ask for help then he wont contact you if you are doing bad. You have to put in the effort.

Definitely recommend to take Prof H. I aced the TEAS test thanks to his class. He encouraged me when I was struggling and helped me through a difficult time by giving extensions. If you watch his lectures his tests are not that bad. As with all classes, you have to put in the effort.

Very cool class. Learned a lot. Teacher seemed tough at the beginning, as long as you do the work and think about more than just memorizing stuff, youll be fine. If all you can do is memorize stuff, take someone else. Good luck getting into nursing though if that is what you do. Lots of extra credit and he is available to help in Webex.

This class was hard at first until I worked out how to study. Watch his lectures and use his notes. Most questions on the tests come from those. I tried YouTube first and that didnt help. He told us his questions came from his material. He drops 2 test grades, so my bad studying didnt hurt my grade when I got it worked out. Thanks Dr Hollier.

Amazing class. Wish I had taken mr Hollier for A&P as well. Learned so much. He provides all that you need to succeed in iCollege. Definitely do the Mastering work, it helps with understanding and improves your grade. If you do your part then hell do his. Dont expect to be given an A just because.

Microbiology is a difficult class but Professor Hollier made it fun and easy. This was the most time consuming class I have taken, but worth it. I feel prepared for my future in nursing now.

Teacher of the year! Goes above and beyond to help you. Will schedule tutoring hours outside of normal hours if you need. Explains the material well and goes over tests if you still have questions. He expects you to do the work though. Nothing worthwhile is free.

Things I like about Hollier. Caring. Compassionate. Funny (dry humor). Accessible. Quick grader. Gives feedback. Extra credit. Drops multiple test and other assignment grades. Recorded lectures (not live lectures). Understands you have other commitments. No nonsense or fluff in what he tells you. Prepare you for nursing.

Good instructor who cares and wants you to do well. You need to work for your grade. Youll learn on the way. Teaches you more than just the course. Youll learn life skills for studying, thinking, time management, and test taking. The last one will help you on the TEAS and get into nursing.

Online classes are harder than in person classes. You need to manage your time to watch the lectures and not put it off. Online does not mean 30 minutes a week and you get an A. Be realistic. You want an A then you have to go to virtual class (watch lectures) AND study outside of virtual class. That means a lot of time each week.

Professor Hollier posts class statistics for all assignments. The averages were in the upper 70s to lower 80s most of the time. The class distributions show3d a few students did bad, in the 20s. These students complained to the rest of the class. They stated they did an hour a week. Get real. An hour a week for an A? Lazy. Do the work and its ok.

The class was great. Lots of content in iCollege, tests were easy if you watched his lectures and took notes, and he was available for online tutoring. The bad reviews here are the same as emails sent to the class by one student. Ignore them. They are fake and lies. Put in the normal amount of time for a class as if you were on campus & youre fine

Amazing course. Learned so much. Great content online , work on your own time, fast response to emails. Negative reviews are FAKE. None of what they say is true. The opposite is true. Tests are easy (class stats posted show a few students did bad), he is online tutoring 4 days a week, he posts announcements when needed, and responds to emails.

The negative reviews are the same as emails sent to the rest of the class by one student. They tried to get the whole class to make the same complaints so they appeared to be genuine. They also setup a groupme for this purpose. Lots of students replied telling them to quit as what they said is false. Those emails match the negative reviews here.

Best teacher ever. He has put in so much time to give students the resources we need to succeed. Just make sure you use them! His test questions come from what he posts on iCollege. Tests are open book select all that apply questions and essay questions. As long as you study his stuff they are mostly easy questions. He responds fast to emails.

Fast grader. Quick replies to emails. Tests are the norm. Online for tutoring each business day. Lots of content in iCollege. You have to do several hours each work studying. Use his lectures as that is whats on tests. Posts class stats, with most students earning upper 70s and higher.

As others have stated, the negative reviews are fake. I agree with the positive reviews except that tests are average to hard (not easy). Otherwise, everything else the positive reviews state are true and what the negative reviews state are false. He cares that his students do well and learn the course material. Best course I have taken at PC-GSU.

AMAZING. Extremely communicative, cares, super smart and knowledgeable, very engaging, extremely organized, expectations clear, patient. I can't give him enough praise. Lots of tests but not a con. They are opportunities to learn if you really care. Don't let the syllabus scare you. Ctl-F is your friend. Praying I get him for Micro.

The bad reviews are fake LOL, Dr. Hollier is amazing, gives numerous opportunities for extra credit on the midterm, and overall course grade up to 5%. I have never learned so much in a class. Honestly just DO THE WORK, and you will get an A his notes are exactly what to expect on the quizzes and tests and the midterm and final. Im taking him again.

ONE OF THE BEST! He is very organized, and doesn't give surprises :) allows extra credit and extensions (upon request), is easy to get along with and will help you whenever you ask for it :) The work isn't the easiest, but as long as you study regularly and show up to class, you'll do great :)

I took Dr. Hollier for Anatomy 1 with the lab, anatomy 2 with the lab, and microbiology 2 with the lab. I have never learned so much from a class and a professor. If you feel like you are worried about your potential grade in this class, take him. He cares. He is patient. Offers a bunch of extra credit. Can't say enough good things about him.10/10!

Best Prof I have had at Perimeter. He cares that his students learn and are prepared for our future careers. gives great advising information. Answers questions in class and gives feedback on assignments. You have to attend class for attendance and discussion points that cannot be made up if you miss class. Take him.

He is amazing, and cares so much about his students plus his accent is fun to listen to and hear him say "Vitamin". Though I was taking A&P 1 mini-mester. It was a lot because of the mini semester. I couldn't work with it in my schedule. Take him, and he will always help and give you the benefit of the doubt.

Best professor I've had in a while! Took anatomy as a mini-mester course and am so thankful he was my teacher. As long as you know the basics of each chapter, you should be good. He offers extra credit and all tests except final are open book!

Dr Hollier was my first back to school professor in many years. I took the mini-mester and there is a lot of work, but he is fair. He cares about his students and makes learning the information fun. Definitely would take again and was disappointed that he wasn't an option for my Microbiology class.

I took him for both ap1 lec and lab, i would say he is very nice professor, he cares about his students and always ready to support you guys by explaning questions, extend due dates, give you more attempts if needed. Remember to finish all of his homeworks and quizzes then you would be fine with closed note exams.
