Awesome teacher, great lecturer, tests are mixed from book and lecture but if you just read the book you'd probably get a B went to class easy A. Easy to learn and remember from!

He is cute and funny! He is clear and if you actually listen to him you will be able to tell which material he stresses and that material should be noted and he usually doesn't lecture anything that will not be on the tests.

He is a little cutie pie, and has a funny personality. He is a good teacher, very clear on what will be on the tests, and the tests are objective NO ESSAYS! He also gives X-tra credit if needed. Take him with confidence. :)

I had him for Personality Psych, and it was great. He knows so much and relates to students well, and challenges you without being overly difficult. I would have received an A if I studied for the 2nd exam, but I underestimated him. Gotta know your stuff, but the class was not intimidating. He's very eccentric and entertaining, too.

Great Professor! Teaches in away that everyone understands. Has a booklet that you buy from the bookstore which he teaches from, and where all the test questions come from. Has great stories for every topic!

I'd definitely recommend this professor to anyone to has to take PSY 122. If you show up to class and pay attention you shouldn't have a problem passing the quizzes and tests. For my class he dropped 2 quiz scores and we had the opportunity for 10 points extra credit.

mark is pretty much wonderful... he constantly had everybody laughing... i love how he randomly talks about his cats and shows us pictures of them... he is also a really great teacher... explains things really well and his tests are really straightforward. i would totally take another class with professor humbert...

Dr. Humbert is amazing!! He uses real world examples from his past jobs to keep your attention. You also purchase all the slides he uses to put your notes on!

You purchase all the slides to take notes on in the bookstore! He relates concepts to his own personal experiences. He is very funny and actually makes you want to come to class!

This guy is hillarious! Everyday class was interesting and fun. This prof. has tons of funny stories to tell from his experiences in this field. Really an enjoyable class with this prof. I've considered taking another class just to have this prof. again.

Mark is such an awesome teacher. I struggled with psych before I took it with him. When you take his classes online, his lessons are well laid out & very clear. He gives 10 just for doing the assignment. His grades are comprehension of the test. You have a project due, but I think he just gives 100 just for doing it. AWESOME GUY!

Great teacher. Personable, intelligent, articulate, interesting, and funny. He took a class I had little interest in and made me want to show up because I wanted to hear his stories. He seems to have a great wealth of experiences to talk about and relate to the material which makes the lectures fascinating.

Awesome professor. So funny and nice. Talks about his cats and being a psych in prison sometimes, and they are always funny stories. He talks kinda like a surfer dude and is a former body builder. Great teacher. Most interesting class I have taken at Sinclair. You don't need to buy the book because his tests are from the outline notebook you buy.

I LOVED him! He made the material interesting with all his stories! He's always making the class laugh, so time flies by. He would sometimes get distracted easily by other things but it made things interesting. It's important to buy the study guide thing available at the bookstore! He goes through slides fast so it helps you keep up. Fantastic guy!

Great Professor! Favorite class this quarter.It is a pleasure to attend his lectures. All lecture with quiz's and tests. Quiz's are easy, tests not so much. If you really study the text and the powerpoints you will do well. Humbert gives lots of examples in his lectures to help you understand the material.

Just a note: I read someone say you don't need the text...I can't speak for that certain class, but if you take 122 and want a high grade you will HAVE to read the text.

Outstanding! The only thing I would ask is for more feedback on the online posts. I got straight A's, but very little feedback. He runs his course like clockwork, and returns grades with a few days.

Awesome teacher! He makes you want to come to class. His humor and examples he uses to relate to the material really helps you understand everything better. Its easier to print off powerpoints he uses and take notes off there. Use the book and powerpoints to study and you'll do great!

AWESOME PROFF!!! He used to be a clinical psychologist and has many good examples, stories, and knowledge to share with the class! Textbook is NOT mandatory for his class ... and he usually lets you buy a later edition of the book (so the book is like $15) ... also to clearly understand psychology you SHOULD attend class it is VERY helpful!

He?s a decent professor but he is totally anti-feminist, quirky and may put stuff from his wright state classes on the test. The class was very easy but I?m not sure if I liked him as a person probably for making fun of feminists? and being somewhat demeaning.

Personality Psych. with Dr. Humbert was simply one of the best courses of any kind I have ever taken. The material was fascinating. His presentation style is interesting and thoughtful. I did not miss a single class. I think he was really fair and very helpful. He does expect college-level work, but it is totally reasonable. Amazing course! Take it

I took this class online, but enjoyed it a lot. This class isn't an easy A, it requires a lot of studying. The tests and case studies are quite challenging, but the teacher is very fair. He will give credit on case studies just for completing them and he will give partial credits on exams if the diagnosis is close. Overall, great class and teacher.

He is one of the best professors I've ever had! His exams actually cover the material with no crazy tricks :) If you haven't taken Abnormal PSY you should...Awesome class with an awesome teacher!

I took this class online and the setup is very easy. He gives very good lecture notes and overly through study guides. Do the assignments and read the text and you are good to go! Definately recommend!

Loves his cats, lol. Funny, honest and experienced about the psych field. Very interesting even though he lectures a lot. He didn't explain our big project very well, but his tests are multiple choice and he curves them. He's skeptical but fun. Overall good professor, I'd recommend him.

One of my favorite classes that I have ever taken! He makes the class interesting and has many neat stories to tell. The tests were mainly on the powerpoint from class. He hardly took attendance, but he gave many quizzes that were helpful to prepare for the exams. Would highly recommend!!

You get credit for doing the assignments, which are actually fun. Tests are fair, and teacher is helpful. Neat assignments, especially if your a psy major. I would take his class again. Only caveat is he returned maybe 1 out of 5 emails I sent him. Otherwise, I enjoyed the class.

Professor Humbert is a very unique and provided my class with tons of helpful and hilarious stories related to the discussion topics. The help is there, you just have to ask for it. The class is very clear-cut and he usually curves the tests by a few points. Tons of quizzes but a handful of tests. I defiantly recommend him!

The tests are easy if you read the online lessons, I didn't even touch my book once the whole semester. There is also forum posts, which are easy A's. There's a research paper and even extra credit. He will respond to emails fairly quickly and is very nice. He will help you as long as you ask for help! I would recommend him to everyone.

I absolutely loved Humbert, wish I could take him with me when I transfer. He responds within 48 hours to email, grades promptly, and keeps his expectations clear. There's a lot of information in this course, but if you do the work it's not too difficult of a class.

Keeps the class interested and more lively. Very funny and the information you need for the exam is all in the powerpoint slides. I bought the textbook but didn't end up using it. Take home quizzes are overall easy. You do have to study the information on the powerpoints to pass. I made flash cards of every powerpoint slide.

He was almost too easy of a grade, but I learned a lot in his class. Sometimes he submitted my grade as a 100% even before I completed the assignment. So easy A

Very caring teacher. He's a great communicator and really wants to help you learn the material. He went above and beyond to help me succeed by granting extensions; unfortunately a family emergency forced me to withdraw. I was really enjoying the class though and I learned a lot. I definitely plan to seek out this professor when I retake the class.

All of the test questions come straight from in-class lectures and lecture slide shows; I never once opened the book and got my highest grade of the semester in this class by just paying attention to lectures. Mr. Humbert is a great teacher in that he easily shares his enthusiasm for psychology with any student listening.

He's genuinely one of the coolest teachers I've had my entire life. Extremely funny, loves his cats, and makes everything interesting in his lectures. There was not one class period where I felt bored with him, he always kept me engaged and excited as to what was next. Close to as perfect as you can get for me to be honest.

Dr. Humbert was very friendly and his lessons were easy to follow. As long as you do the assignments and utilize the study guides, you're guaranteed to pass. The final project is nothing to worry about- the directions are VERY vague but it seemed to be an easy A as long as you show effort. Overall an easy course but I still learned a lot!

Mr. Humbert is an amazing professor! He is very outside the box and has a unique perspective. Challenges you with scenarios, cases and will go in depth to make sure you understand everything. Having his unique perspective, he makes class very interesting and challenges the way you perceive things. Very funny, easy going and just awesome!

One of the top professors I have ever had. He gets his point across with humor but also seriousness and you can tell how passionate he is about psychology. I never wanted to miss his class. HIGHLY recommend him for personality psychology if you get the chance !!

He explains everything very well. He lectures everyday and always explains everything in his notes. He also likes to have fun and tells lots of stories about his career as a psychologist. There are 5 test and quizzes throughout the semester.

GREAT teacher! Probably one of the best I have ever had. He Does a great job of linking what he is teaching to real life events, with a good mix of humor and crazy stories from his time working as a psychologist in prison. You can tell he is passionate about what he does and being a professor here is an amazing fit for him.

His classes were fun and I looked forward to them. He truly wanted to see his students succeed and went out of his way to help anyone struggling. He did go off topic quite a bit but if you are okay with listening to stories about his cats in order to have a wonderful teacher with a great knowledge about his field, he is the teacher for you!

I loved him! I was excited to go to class every day I had him. I was so happy to drive to Dayton on Friday just for his class. I did CCP and when I went up all nervous to talk about my grade (which I hadn't checked) I did really well and he helped me pick my major. And he was super nice and energetic which made me feel comfortable in a big class!!

One of the best professors I've ever had. He is funny and keeps his lectures interesting. There wasn't any tests given besides chapter quizzes that aren't hard at all. You get unlimited amounts of attempts for the quizzes too. This class was super easy and fun. Come to class, pay attention, take the quizzes and you pass. Highly recommend!

If you want an A, take him. I took Prof. Humbert online. He is very nice and responds to emails fast. He never has an issue clarifying, he offers really good feedback. He gives extra credit at the end. Grades super fast too! On ALL the exams you can take them twice and it shows the questions you got wrong. So, you can restudy. Highly recommend!

He is an easy grader and I enjoyed his class! He was not very responsive to emails and it was difficult to get an answer from him but because he graded easy, it worked out! Definitely recommend for online.

BEST PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD. This man is so funny and makes the topic very interesting. As long as you do the assignments and discussions you will get an A. He is not a heavy grader. He is willing to help anyone in need. HE IS REALLY AWESOME.

Super fun and easy class. Reading and discussion post every week and a few exams throughout the semester. Final is an exam plus a 4-page paper, but it is super easy. Taking another class with him next semester and I'm looking forward to it. Also offers an extra credit assignment.

Dr. Humbert was a very easy professor, and so was PSY2220. You get 2 attempts for each exam, and the second attempt is just what you got wrong on the first. You are allowed to study between attempts. Great class, great professor. Would recommend.

Professor Humbert is honestly amazing! Three exams total, with plenty of time to complete. He gives you 2 tries on each of the exams, allowing time to study and reflect on mistakes. His study guide is nicely composed and helps with exams. The final paper is also flexible, leaving you in control of concepts that you want to explore from the course.

Professor Humbert's PSY1100 is a fun and engaging class. Lectures are interesting, and the workload is relatively light. Quizzes can be retaken for an easy A. I found Unstuck AI helpful for quiz prep, along with the textbook. Highly recommend this class!

I had him back in the late 90's as a non-trad student. Being older than many other in the class and from a local school that had cliques, I was able to provide him insight to help him get clarity on a client of his. . .he did not go into any specifics, just asked me questions and I provided him insight and background of social politics.

Professor Humbert is amazing. His classes are so fun, and he really knows how to keep people engaged. Easy assignments, easy A, everything about him is great. 10/10 recommend!
