Very easy teacher. I don't think I opened the book the entire semester (exaggerating). It was the easiest "A" I ever had. He is fun and approachable. However, he sometimes didn't know the material as well as he should.

VERY cool guy. Easily approachable and open to questions. Not at all distant or weird. He's the perfect type of math professor for people who are afraid of math people. He's the guy across the street you talk sports with, not a creepyweird math shut-in.

I have never had him for a professor, But on occasion, when going to class early, he has been there with another student helping them. I could tell immediately that he was a good teacher. After introducing myself, and complimenting him. He offered his help, if I were to ever ask for it. Wow !

I highly recommend Mr. Hunter for anyone who has any kind of trouble with math. He makes it easy to understand and is more than willing to sit down and work with you if you need a little extra help. Math geniuses need not apply. =P You might get bored--the class is slower paced than some.

Mark Hunter is a very nice guy. There were 5 Exams, but he will drop the lowest score. Quizes, he dropped the 2 lowest. The Final was cumulative. I recommend that those who have trouble with math to take him. He is Funny and Approchable. Will give you extra help when asked.

The most easiest class I ever taken went to class only 7-8 times still pass with a A. He cancel alot of class ut make it up by assighning take home test.

Mark was one of the best teachers I have ever encountered. HIS APPROACH WAS TO TEACH YOU, NOT ASSUME THAT YOU ALREADY KNEW THE MATERIAL. This really helped me alot in the class. I wish I could have him for every math I have to take until I receive my degree.

I love Hunter.He is one of the best math teachers you can get.He really does care if you get the material. And if most of the class doesn't get it, the next day he will go over it again and give you worksheets to help you understand.He is always willing to answer questions. He made calculus easy!

Mark is AWESOME, he explains things so clearly, is always helpful, actually checks his emails, usually gives out a worksheet to do each class session, gives no homework, all you need to do outside of class is whatever you don't finish on the worksheet during class and practice exams and tests, which he doesn't collect, to help you study for the tests. I ace almost every test. Iv'e got an A in the class and I hate doing math work.

I HATE MATH! I don't understand it. This is the first teacher that really made it simple for me. He wants his students to pass the class and will really help you to do just that. I wish he taught upper level math!

MR. HUNTER IS A WONDERFUL TEACHER. HE EXPLAINS THE LESSONS SO CLEARLY AND MAKES SURE THE CLASS UNDERSTANDS IT. ASSIGNS HMW BUT HE NEVER COLLECTS IT. GROUP QUIZZES/AND U CAN ALSO MAKE UP TESTS. Hes really a fun teacher, he makes corny jokes (haha) but that just makes him an even better laid back kind of teacher. make sure to do the sample tests and you will get an A just like me.

I wish he taught stats, he clarifies anything that one may be confused with. I have taken at least 4 different math teachers, and by far this is the best one yet.

EASY CLASS - very clear, not a lot of homework. most of it's done in class anyways. and he clarifies if you dont understand. just ask. hes not scary.

I took his class for math 30 & 100, puled A's in both and really enjoyed the homework & class. Showing up to class is very helpful, but he leaves it up to you. He answers all questions very clearly, yes math is enjoyable with him. I was sad to leave the school he teaches at. You learn easily in his classes if you strive to do the work!

Mr. Hunter is a very caring and concerned Professor. He's the fourth professor and I'm making unbelievable progress ever! I've always recieved F's and wasn't getting anywhere. Strangers of all races told me to take Mr. Hunter, didn't know him, never met him until the first day of class.I will take him again for another math course in January.

Mr.Hunter is tight!He has u turn in wrkshts every thrusday4credit they're very helpful and R easy points.he gives 5 tests not including the finalthru out the semster and drops ur lowest grade...i recommend him, hes pretty funny and entergetic...also if ur phone goes off he has ju bring cookies lol.take him!& also sign up4the math lab(81) it helps

professor hunter is awesome!! tests are M/C and are not hard at all. Had one take home and one redo test for more partial credit. really works with the students and does his best to address the needs of the entire class. follow his lecture outline and listen to the problems he wants you to do. highly recommend!!!

I DO NOT think that Prof. Hunter is ****. Seriously, his method of teaching is more on application rather than lectures in class because Math is more on problem solving. You don't learn Math by reading stuffs, you practice, and practice and practice. He has a different style of teaching. Give him a chance. He's a cool professor.

I took this class Over the Summer. It was an eight week class and moved very fast but,it was very easy. Mark is the BEST math teacher I have taken so far at the college level. He makes it easy for you to understand and is always willing to help. Besides the "cookies" policy the class was an absolute breeze. Homework like attendance was optional.

By far the best teacher I have ever had he makes learning math fun, I hated math more than anyone but, I got a great grade had fun and I think I learned to like math a little. Please take this class first if you hate math.

RAVE! Love Mr. Hunter. I have an A+ in a subject that I usually fail. This is the first time I have ever really understood math. Mr. Hunter is really helpful, good natured and makes class fun. Worksheets and review are challenging which makes tests fairly easy. my only complaint is he is not teaching the class I have to take next term.

Prof.Hunter has a passionate approach for teaching math & a clever way of getting student to understand materials. If you struggle w/math, he is the prof. to take. Must do all worksheets, HW as needed,attend class lec as needed and you will pass any of his math classes. He does not collect HW & drops the lowest test score.Funny guy w/great lecture

Mark is a cool teacher, his class is fairly easy, attendence is not mandatory except on worksheet days, and if you show up, you won't really have to use the book. I want to take his next class- and I really don't like math, so that says something. If you keep up with the work, you'll get an A or B.

This teacheris the best he is the type of guy that will do all he can for his students very helpful I am not az math person by far but he makes you feel good about what you can do in your education book is very helpful I could not attend class every time and I passed off of the home work and projects which is the final at the end of the semester!

I hate math with a passion but Mark changed that. He makes math way easy and a lot of fun. He's very thorough and makes sure you understand it. If math is a weak point, take him.

The bottom line is this teacher less challenging than other JC teachers. If you are finishing up some math classes for GE, take him. But if you are a math or science major and need these math skills later, do yourself a favor and take someone who teaches at a normal difficulty level or you will struggle later on because you didn't learn enough.

He kept the class brief and stayed on tasks verses other math professors I took. I didnt do so good on his exams so his DAILY Quizes help out A LOT!!! AND I HATE MATH!

Prof. Hunter is awesome! He explains everything clearly! The only problem is, the first 5 chapters are super easy. you dont even have to go to class! but then the last two chapters are tough! I messed up by missing those sections. His really nice, and brings donuts and starbucks for everyone on test days. =]

Teaches very well. makes math understadable, if thats even a word. I enjoyed his class very much, and I am going to take his math 100. His classes fill up very quckly.

This is my second time taking Mark and no matter what level you take his teaching style is the same. The class itself was kind of difficult but mark is understanding and willing to help. homework is not mandatory, the worksheets are. As a person Mark is very approachable, very friendly person. He teaches okay. But not in a way that my other math professor Yarbrough teaches. Yarbrough was more thorough. Great teacher, Probably one of the best I have had so far at CRC. All his tests are multiple choice, he gives reviews at the start of each class which are really helpful. Extreamly funny, nice guy. Will do anything to see his students succeed. Do the homework(although he never collects it) and the reviews and you will pass this class!

Hes a great teacher. I dont think i would have passed math 120 without taking his class. However hes teaching style/method is diffrent from others professors and this is what i struggled with in his class. Some may not like or do good in this class if they can not adapt..

His lectures are very clear and helpful. Be sure you do the projects. Also, study the projects and the lectures notes prior the exam.. Exam is huge on grading so be sure to do well on them!

He teaches using worksheets and lectures. DO NOT SKIP CLASS! Attend class to get the worksheets and lectures and you will understand the materials. He goes a bit slow, so you have time to digest. Also he spends extra time giving practice handouts so you can have extra practice at home.

Mark was wonderful - I think I am starting to like math after having his class. His teaching style includes helpful tips for remembering steps, he gives out practice pages, he reviews before an exam, and he always helps when helping is appropriate. He tries to keep everyone up to speed and guide others to additional resources as needed. He's great!

Mark is the bestest math teacher who takes his time explaining how to do, gives tips and acronyms you can easily follow. Math 20 was a good refresher course for me which helped me all the way through Math 100 and this coming semester I look forward to Math 120 with Mark.

I liked him as a teacher. He explained everything ok but it was way too easy. 1 Take home test including the final! I would not have gotten my grade regularly. I failed Math 400 now like everybody else who had him in 370. Do not take him if you have to go on with Math and sciences. He is a nice teacher but not the best for you to succeed

Great teacher. I struggle with math and am more of a artEnglish person but he's a great teacher. He shows different steps to solving problems and explains them easily. He also grades taking into account whether you tried. I would recommend him to anyone that struggles with math and needs someone to break it down clearly for them.

I took Prof. Hunter last semester for Math 120 at Sac City. I've always had some trouble with math, but Hunter makes sure to explain everything as clearly as possible and doesn't move on until everyone understands what he just went over. Really convenient office hours and invites you to sit in on his other classes if you like. Great professor

Helpful and always energetic so it makes a 3 hour class go by fast! Uses shortcuts a lot so class can be hard if math is not your forte. Homework is online and you don't need the book because book can be accessed online within the program. Don't miss class because a lot of material is gone over.

Class can be hard because he uses a different method of teaching. Shortcuts are used a lot as well. He's willing to meet during his office hours and help you out, just ask! Homework online so make sure you don't slack because helps you out with tests and quizzes. Always energetic and telling math jokes.

He is such a nice teacher, idk why some people are giving him bad reviews maybe so other people dont take him and take other worse teachers so they fail lol, no but he is a great guy and i feel bad he has a health condition, so in the middle of semester he had to leave and we got a new professor who couldnt even understand math himself
