I think he was an awesome teacher. Very out-spoken. He's very much into letting you debate in class. He really helps you understand the law and he does everything possible to make sure you pass all the tests! Awesome teacher!!

He teaches for fun because he's a defense attorney, never talks about his clients but gives real life examples. Easiest class I ever took and I still learned. Only took 2 tests and he always made sure we knew what material we would cover!! Really nice guy!!

This teacher is has a gift for teaching, he made the class from day one exciting and funny. He jumped up on a table the first day and I remember thinking this guy is going to be fun! Throughout the semester he got the class discussing the material in each chapter and I enjoyed how he never judged or critized any student for having different opinion

Class mostly debates so come prepare to give your personal opinion and ask a lot of questions. I really had fun in this class Mr. Jones is funny and made me laugh a lot. Make sure you read all chapters in the book, he covers a lot in class but if you don't read you won't do well in the tests. I highly recommend this teaches. Two thumps up!

i took him for criminal law and again for evidence..is a great class due to the real world instances and no book except for the definitions of techniques and laws. his exam is excatly what he teaches more into the students learning vs. grades! highly reccomend Mr jones (any teacher that shows dave chappelle as part of a lesson is a hero in my book)

This Professor rambles on forever about the same thing - he can beat a subject to death, and once you have listened to the same thing after 15 being repeated your ears go into lock down and tune out time. He is dramatic, and there are plenty of mature rated innuendos not necessary or related to the subject being taught.

CJL2100- Cool guy, definitely helpful if you have any questions; won't make you feel stupid for asking question. Easy, but not easy, you have to pay attention to what he says and he made that easy for me.

I LOVE his criminal law class. I'm currently enrolled in it for an elective and I'm so glad I did. His lectures are easy to understand and really make you think about the criminal justice system. One of my favorite classes taken in PBSC.

Funny professor. Talks the second the class starts to the very end, so don't expect to leave class early (very rarely does he let you). Took him for my summer A class so it was only 6 weeks. Very interesting class, I wish I had more time to learn more. Tests were easy, a little bit TO easy, but difficult enough. Reading is a must and pay attention.

I really enjoyed this class, I learned so much, took it for summer B so it was pretty quick, i wish we could have learn more but i would totally recommend to any one who is interested in criminal law, he is very funny and keeps you interested.

Do NOT expect to leave early as we stay ALL 3 12 hrs. No assignments, only a midterm and a final. I spoke with other students and they agreed that his tests are worded very weird. Focus on the study guide and you should pass. He is hilarious, but be aware that a lot of vulgar language is used and his jokes are out there. Overall, great professor!

He makes sure to use every minutes of the course. He likes to provoke arguments in class, that's his way to know if you understand the subject or not. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and can speak freely. His tests are base on reading the book and conversations in class. Great teacher.

Funny/ corny professor. He reviews the material you need. Sends you emails with attachments with things youll read that will be on test. He says he requires txt book. But i didnt open my book once during his class and passed with an A. You talk about real situations and he is agreat person. You will be in class till the last minute tho.

Mark Jones is one of the best professors that I have come across in my entire academic career. Upon finishing my degree at PBSC, I attended Florida State, and now Cornell Law School. I have yet to come across a professor who can engage their class at the level that professor Jones does. It would be a shame for anyone to miss out on his class.

Professor Jones is a good Professor , a little wacky but cool. His final grade was based on the midterm, the final and attendance. He gives out all the materials needed to be successful and points out what you need to know for the exam. Study the material, show up for class and you will pass. I will be taking every class he teaches.

Professor Jones is the most understanding and genuine professors out there- easily one of my favorites. He was a defense attorney for 35 years so the man really knows his stuff. Only graded by the midterm and final so study accordingly, but his questions sometimes help answer one another and he's always an email away.

Professor Jones is engaging and makes the lectures fun. The class is discussion-heavy but the material is interesting. I found unstuckstudy really helpful for quiz prep alongside the textbook.

The best thing about attending class is that he is passionate about what he teaches. He is funny, compassionate, and understanding with his students. As long as you take part in the writing discussion and pass the quiz, passing this class is relatively simple. Overall, be present, pay attention, and read! He also shares his experiences/stories.

100% take a class w Jones. It's an easy A and his lectures are a mix of hilarious and thought provoking. I was excited to get to my criminal law class everyday because it was never boring and always inspiring. Not to mention, he's brilliant and incredibly knowledgeable. I would take a class with him every semester if I could.

He has an odd way of teaching that is mostly focused on his lectures but he encourages interaction to debate how criminal law should be implemented while also teaching how it is currently implemented. He's a bit quirky and has a passion to teach. After every class there's a quiz and discussion with some light reading if applicable.

An absolutely amazing professor in every way. Straightforward and fair work, great lectures, great resources and feedback. Hilarious and easy going as a person. Overall an amazing experience and I will absolutely try to take the one of his courses again.
