So I really enjoyed this class because as long as you take notes you will make a good grade. Also, Prof. Logas is very funny, talks a lot about what is going on in the world and keeps you informed on current events. I definitly recommend his class.

Mark Logas was... the best professor I had all year. I enjoyed his teaching methods so much that I took another class of his that I didn't even need!

Professor Logas grades on an 8 point scale, so it may seem like he's a little harder than other professors. He gives you both sides of the story also, not a biased story. If you do your assignments, and pay attention in class he is an easy A.

Ive taken Logas for US Gov and Local and State. Local and state was way more interesting. If you want a good grade, Participate in class discussion. Be the first to raise your hand to talk, and he'll bend over backwards for you if u do.

Mr Logas is great...extremely fair and gives fantastic notes. Read the book and do the written assignments and you'll pass easily.

This is all around, seriously, the best class ive ever taken. I have no interests in politics. But 6 weeks into this class, i love it. Professor Logas does such a great job making this class interesting.

Great professor! I had NO interest in politics whatsoever. This has become my favorite class. He makes the material interesting and his impressions of presidents are hilarious.

This teacher is not for the lazy and weak...however if you're not like that, then he's a great guy and will keep you interested in politics. He'll get students involved in discussions that really make the class fun. Study for the tests, if you don't then it's your fault you didn't do well.

This was the BEST professor i ever had!! He is hysterical and makes the class fun. The test are long but not that hard you have to study the charts and the vocab and you should be fine. There are two projects they are time consuming but interesting. Everyone should take this professor. :)~

Ooh lord this teacher is a bit hard. I wasn't a big fan of his tests but there's only two assignments and the rest is review and something called our world. But it's an interesting class and he's really hilarious but sometimes he tries a little too hard.

The class was easy, all you have to do is pay attention, and take notes. He makes politics interesting even to those who dont care. The two assignments are pretty much written out for you as well. He was an awesome teacher.

He was a great teacher. He loves History and you learn alot. You do have to study for tests, quizzes and do a research paper. He excepts you to be there everyday he takes off points if you miss a day. The class is not boring. =-) Good Luck.

What a wonderfull person. I never thought I would actually like political science, but I think the way the class is taugh has a huge influence on the students's success. Professor Logas makes this class a very didactive one, we disscuss current issues at the beginning of class and that's defenitely a good way for us to interact and express our opinions. such a nice person, therefore, makes this class a fun one.

This professor is great. If you are interested in gov. and media and willing to work hard-not just taking the class for an easy A-you will learn a lot. Very passionate about what he does and very funny. He's always willing to talk over anything you may need and shows a genuine interest in his students. There is a lot of reading, as in any college course, but you will read EVERY word in the book. I made a B in the class without doing the reading though. I loved the class. LOGAS 4 PREZ!

Mr.Logas is very funny and keeps the class interesting which was neccessary for a 7:00 am class. Always makes jokes and encourages debating and conversation. Attendance is VERY important. Do not miss 5 or more classes or come in late too much. Also, make sure to have your cell phones off before class. He has kicked students out during tests for it.

This is guy is amazing! He is pretty straight up. If you dont like straight up people this is not the class for you. I may not agree with his political views but this teacher is great and you are going to learn. If you have problems coming to class on time dont take it. It will destroy you.

Professor is funny and energetic. He challenges you to formulate your own opinions but makes sure to voice his, which he holds very strong. He's in your face about his stance on certain issues and doesn't go over exams before hand so a lot of on your own studying is done. Overall the class is interesting and fun and challenges you.

A class worth taking. He gives like two homework assignments throughout the whole semester, there's three exams that are not that easy but he gives a lot of extra credit opportunities and you leave the class having a lot more knowledge of how government works. Hilarious impressions!

Going into Government class for the first time, I was worried that I was going to be brainwashed in to a liberal zombie, but on the contrary he is very independent! He lectures almost all class long, and they are extremely interesting! There is almost no homework, and the exams are not difficult!

One of the best professors I've had. Very lively and entertaining. In my opinion it was an easy class, but you must study. He gives you everything you need to study in his guides and emails. I had no interest in politics/government before this class but after only having him for a few weeks it's the only thing I talk about. Logas may seem biased, but he's realistic and doesn't "sugar coat" ANYTHING. He's a professional, and knows what he's talking about. Tests are fair if you complete the study guides and study them!!

Look, I honestly never knew how to study or what to expect since I'm a freshman but I've gotten 94+ on two exams already and 100 on my research paper. If you read the chapters and listen and engage in his lectures, it is not bad at all. The only way to get a C lower is if you don't try whatsoever.

Prof. Logas is probably the best you can ask for. He's immensely knowledgeable about government and makes every class engaging. That being said, he has little tolerance for tardiness and you'll need to put in some effort to pass the class due to the limited number of assessments and the 8 point grading scale.

Professor Logas is a great teacher. This was my second time with him. State and Local is very fun I had a blast in his class.

This class is no walk in the park. Be prepared to come into class and talk about "World Topics". This professor definetely knows his stuff!!! If you want to learn alot definetely take his class. At first I despised this man. You all will. But, he taught me so many things that helped me even when I got in trouble with the law. Be prepared to work your ass off but it's so worth it in tHe end. If you don't take him your an idiot. End of story

EASY! He gives you study guides and its the test pretty much. He does not teach in class, rather he talks about current events. 4 tests and 3 observations. You go to the courthouse, county commissioners meeting, and city meeting. Pretty easy if you do you're work. 8 point grading scale, which sucks! and mandatory attendence.. would take again!!!

Great professor to take, keeps class interesting no matter how early you take him. Very strict on attendance and being on time. Will not let you attend class if your a minute late. Hard grader but fair. If your polite with him he will do the same for you but if you come in there with an I don't care attitude he will just send you on your merry way

Take Home quizzes due before class starts. Be late and see ur grade drop. Phone rings and you will ask to leave. (In fact you don't have to leave, you will not get credit for that day). Professor Logas was an Awesome teacher, and he has definitely given me some new perspectives!! He is very passionate about U.S. Gov, and his passion is contagious!! You definitely have to work for the grade, but he gives study material that will guide you through all of his tests!!

PROFESSOR LOGAS WAS THE BEST! Hands down my favorite teacher at Valencia, he is hilarious and extremely knowledgeable. Lectures can be pretty hard to pay attention to as he goes over A LOT during class. ALWAYS TAKE NOTES ON WHAT HE SAYS, he throws in questions on the tests that won't be found in the book.

This is a college course and if you don't want to think, write, or learn I suggest you take another teacher. He minimizes all distractions, which I appreciate very much! Take him if you WANT to learn about governtment! At first, he made it seem like it was going to be the worst class of all time when it was actually very easy. Not afraid to hurt your opinions but at the same time he wanted you to know the truth. Only thing that he could do better on is getting personal. He passed the roll sheet around all 16 weeks.

Took Mass Media and Politics with him at UCF and I loved every minute of it. Great professor, really opens your eyes on the subject and gives both sides of the story. Two tests that are easy if you studying the few readings and listen to lectures.

A true professor. Lectures were great. Quizzes and test by the book. No surprises and learned a lot. Highly recommend. Bring in Our World topics, never know when he will ask for one.

How could someone not take Logas seriously?!! HE KNOWS HIS STUFF.He has to be one of the most knowledgable men that I know. Took him a couple years ago and enjoyed every second of his lectures. Attendance is mandatory which wasn't a problem for me due to how funny he is. Tough exams but just study/read the book! TAKE HIM

At first it seemed as if it was going to be the worst class ever. He tends to yell a lot and bash other people's opinions. However, Professor Logas is very knowledgeable and definitely makes you learn a lot about government. Uses an 8-point scale, but if you study well you can easily get an A.

This guy knows his stuff and he keeps learning American Gov. exciting! He makes you work though. Do the study guides, share "our world" topics, and study for your tests you will be fine.

This professor isn't a light grader, but his class is worth it. 945am over the summer and I can't even complain. He truly knows what he's talking about and he just wants to wake students up to how imperative it is to know facts on our government, to show that it's within our power to invoke change. Just...do the work! (He's funny too)

This class was very hard but I'm glad I took it with Logas. Always do the Our World Topics, read your e-mails before the tests, do your quiz they will help a lot with your grade and always participate. The textbook is a must - rent it in Chegg bookstore. He teaches about current event in government. You have to read chapters on your own time!

Logas is GREAT! He is so passionate about what he teaches and he really opens your eyes to things you weren't aware of before. I'm definitely taking another class with him! He grades on an 8-point scale so its a little harsh (a 90 is a B) but if you work hard and study you can pass easily. He is hilarious and I LOVED his class, he made my weeks.

Professor Logas was such a great instructor. He provides a study guide at the beginning of the semester outlining everything that is covered on the tests (term and concepts) he follows his syllabus pretty well. Reading the book was necessary to passing the course and understanding some of the things he talked about in class.

His class is a must do! Really makes you understand US Government with real world issues. It is true, his grading scale is a bit harder than most. However, if you do the study guides and go to class and READ THE BOOK, you'll pass with flying colors. I would strongly recommend him.

He knows how to teach and could be really funny. Don't be scared off on the first day, he just makes it seem like it's going to be the hardest class ever (on purpose). The class is actually really easy, As long as you keep up with the book you won't face embarrassment when called out. On top of that he gives study guides that simplify tests .

His class is essentially a front row seat to right-wing talk radio, with all the ups (impassioned speech, seat-of-your-edge "gotcha" moments) and downs (illogical arguments, plays loose with facts). Uses questionable news sources--be prepared to see the Daily Mail regularly. Take this class if you want to be entertained.

He was very fact based and ready for any question you had for him. Every class was eye opening even at 8 in the morning and I was never bored of what topic he presented to us. It was tough but at the same time really easy if you did your part in the class which is read what he tells you and in a good amount of time.

Enjoyable class he was not boring. If you're thinking this is a class you can slack off and not read the text then this class is not for you. His lectures incorporate what you have been reading. If you want want to talk to him about your grade, you must schedule a face to face meeting . Anything 73% and below are failing grades. Overall, great prof

If you're someone who can't learn from reading the textbook don't take him. His lectures are based on applying the textbook terms to real life current events but it's very interesting and he's hilarious. Required to bring in one current event topic every class and share it out loud for credit. He really knows what he's talking about. Loved him.

This guys is very eye opening and very truthful. I know many people bash him for his standing, but honestly he provides FACTS and brings in speakers that even provide more proof of his statements. If you cannot handle being proven wrong then don't take him, if you want to learn and gain a great connection then I recommend this man.

Prof. Logas is passionate about what he talks about. Yes he has his own opinions, but he backs them up with facts. He doesn't judge you if you disagree with him. USE THE STUDYGUIDE and attend class because sometimes he puts things on test he talked about. Do OUR WORLD assignments. I got an A in the class by doing studyguide and got As on all tests.

Good professor, speaks his mind and with humor. 4 exams, 1 take-home quiz, 8-pt grade scale. Lectures on eye-opening facts about government, but most of your exam-prep needs to be studied. Very intelligent and passionate professor! Just show up to class, listen to lectures and learn. Very few quizzes and two tests. Easiest class! Teaches a lot about government, politics and current events! Super interesting out of class field trips around town so a car is essential for government and media class.

I took him spring semester of last year and felt that I had to come back and write a review. He's amazing, Its easy to say he's the professor I've learned the most from. He'll grab your attention, and keep it all class. Very eyeopening. He doesn't require much from you, just study, and you'll pass the tests. You get the grade you work for.

He's a great professor if you want to learn about the world of politics and you don't usually like government he is a great teacher just take advantage of the study sessions cause the tests are hard if you don't study and pay attention for reviews.

He is VERY conservative and biased. With that being said, even if you disagree with him he will always respect your opinion as long as you can back it up with facts. He can be intimidating at first, but he is really funny and caring. His lectures are always interesting. Keep up to date with news, do ALL of the assignments and you'll do fine!

Not a hard class. Only problem is that he grades on a 6 POINT GRADING SCALE. Anything below a 70 is a F.

Professo Logas is AMAZING! for the first time in my life I actually took a care in understanding politics. He makes you work for your grade, as well as he rewards you for your hard work. Do not listen to what other people say about him eing tough or whatever, he is hands down the best!

Logas is very passionate about his work and he has extensive knowledge and experience! He is very clear and helpful as long as you're not slacking off and are taking the class seriously. He makes you work for your grade and it is definitely NOT and easy A class, but you WILL learn a lot.

Pay attention in class, be sure to read the book, and his study guides, (study guidetest), PLUS has E.C questions on exams, be sure to do all "world topics"-current events(he checks them for a grade), 3 Quizzes, he makes learning interesting because he takes what's happening now in the world and relates it back to the chapter students are learning

Professor Logas is the best teacher i've ever had. He is Hilarious, passionate, and all the criteria he presents in class is backed up with factual sources. He has helped me transform my political views, and i've never enjoyed a class so much. Everyone should take this class!!!

Logas is the best professor I have ever had the pleasure of having! I was in his Local and State Government class. Lectures a lot but makes it funny, enjoyable, and you learn about so many things happening in the world. He definitely got me interested in politics and inspired me to go register to vote. Do his study guides and you will do great.

Although he uses a 7 point grading system it makes you work harder, he has a clear passion for what he does and makes government something that you want to learn. I enjoyed every 7 am class and look forward to learning everyday.

Took prof. Logas for state and local government over the summer for the C term. He's a great teacher and his lectures are very interesting. I wrote 2 papers, 1 and 1/2 pages each (during fall and spring semester its 4 papers but easy) and took 4 test but study guides are very similar to test. He likes to speak his mind so try to not get offended.

The first day he seems impossible, but he's really funny and gives a helpful study guide. He says he's not biased but he's very Republican which is fine by me. He has the whole class in stitches sometimes. Seriously study for the tests and you'll do fine. There are four big tests, a couple quizzes, and then the final.

Prof Logas is conservative & liberals/far left persons will be quite uncomfortable with his opinions but this is a good thing. Encourages students to factcheck on his fact based opinions. Great lectures on gov material is mainly the last half/third of the class, the rest is talking about news/politics. I don't fall asleep in his class. 10/10

Professor Logas is a real great professor who seems to really care about what he teaches. I took him for local and state government and he made the class very interesting with real stories. He gives around four test and he gives study guides for each; you have about three other assignments but that is it.

Took State&Local govt. all online and loved it. Two mandatory interactive assignments require your presence at the courthouse for observations and were fascinating! Only a handful of other assignments throughout the semester. I strongly recommend professor Logas if you are interested in this class because he makes it fun while keeping it casual.

Follow the study guides for the 4 exams he gives you and you should be good cause that's literally all there is aside from a participation grade and one other small thing. Make sure you don't skip or be late more than twice or you're gone. Overall, this guy and his class are great he's passionate and knows what he's talking about !

Prof Logas was a great teacher might seem difficult at first but he really is an understanding guy! Make u open ur mind to things that go on in our govt and reminds us that this is our country, tests are easy follow study guide. Prof. Logas is hilarious and his State & Local Gov class was a breeze. Super easy just study for the exams, attend class, and put effort into your papers. It's a guarantee A. He really cares about you learning current events and taking something from his class. I would 110% recommend to others and take him again!

Interesting professor who knows what he is talking about. very structured and stood firmly with the schedule which is a plus. Only complaint would be not being able to leave during class for a bathroom break as the teacher does not like that. But all in all the tests are really not that bad (Just study a bit) and the outside gov. visits are easy.

Took POS2041 Online - his blackboard structure could be better, but if you reference the syllabus or just the "My Grades" sections for due dates you won't miss any quizzes. He often reminds you of assignments and exam dates, but for some reason not quizzes - so don't miss those! His response time is usually 1-3 days, but answers are VERY helpful.

Professor Logas really focuses on his students being involved in local government. I took this class online and essentially had 4 papers and two tests total. You are required to be self taught in this class but he provides the deadlines, study guides you need and answers any questions you have. Do the papers, do the reading and the tests are easy.

I took Logas in Summer2017. You Guys, if you need to take any government class. TAKE HIM! his class is super easy. he talks about recent news for half of the class and then he points out important information that is going to be on the test. you can fill out the study guide as he is lecturing. He has an assignment where you have to go to court! FUN

Professor Logas is really great at what he does. He is so into what he teaches and it kinda rubs off on you. A lot of the study guide information is exactly the same stuff on the test. Most answers come from his lectures to, so pay attention. The court papers help a lot with grades since it is just that and the 3 tests. This man is WOKE.

All there is a midterm and final (all answers in book) and then two "our world discussions" and you had to go to a city council meeting and traffic court which was pretty easy and he gave me 100s on both papers. Easy grader, easy class.

I took this professor online. The way I get easy A in this class without reading the book is doing assignments that he provides. You have 2 written assignments and 2 reports about real life political observant. Overall he's not a tough grader. Before taking Midterm and Final, carefully prepare his study guide in Discussion. That's all.

Professor Logas is one of the best instructors I've ever had. I'm not sure how one can comment on a professor after dropping out after one day, that seems a bit silly to me. But regardless, Logas' class is great. He's very bipartisan in nature although he tends to lean to the right. That being said if you don't have tough skin, don't take his class

IF VISITING A COURTHOUSE &GOING TO CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS ISNT SOMETHING YOU'RE INTERESTED IN, DONT TAKE HIS CLASS! I found out when it was too late that he requires two visits and was forced to stay. But honestly, the visits aren't bad, they're easy, and he only assigns 2 other papers beside those visits, the midterm & the final. so its an easy A.

I have taken Mr. Logas for his U.S. Government class and his State and Local Government class. Lecture heavy, but relevant to the material and what is going on in the world. He is brutally honest and that might offend some of you. Definitely need to read the book!!! As long as you pay attention you'll pass. Best teacher I've had at Valencia

I love his lectures I always look forward to them. He will make you work a bit for your grade but it is really easy to achieve the grade you want. Overall: 2 quizzes (take home) 3 Exams, 1 Final, 4 Our world topics and a Unit 3 study guide document. YOU SHOULD DO HIS STUDY GUIDES it is basically the same thing as the test.

I love this class, His lectures are the best! His grading scale is a bit higher than others, but an A is manageable to get. all you need to do is his work and his study guides. I also recommend reading the chapters. I didn't and I received C's on his first 2 tests. My first time ding full time so I'm having a bit of trouble managing all 4 classes.

All his expectations of you are laid out on your first day, he's an amazing teacher with lectures that apply what you read in the book in the real world. Personally, I have a difficult time learning things about government, but the way he teaches is so interesting, government becomes fun. But you need to be willing to put in a little effort.

This professor is AMAZING for online classes. There were 6 assignments TOTAL: 2 easy discussion boards, 2 out of class observations, & 2 tests (midterm & final). Everything was evenly spread out but be sure to turn everything in on time. I LOVED the observations even though you had to go downtown. Easy grader, gives extra credit. TAKE HIM!!!!!!!!!!

Prof. Logas can come off a bit dry through his emails but you can tell he wants you to succeed. Very few assignments the entire semester. Grade based heavily on exams and projects so put in the work. You have to attend court and a counsel meeting so if thats an issue stay away. Otherwise this class was great this semester.

One of the best professors I've had. He is very understanding. He participates in the discussion boards. He responds to everyone's questions and posts announcements frequently to make sure everyone understands. Fair warning: this class will take you out of your comfort zone by making you attend 2 government functions.

I took Professors Logas Online POS 2112 class. The class was fairly easy, however he makes you work for your grade. FYI he makes you do two outside class observations, one at the courthouse and a city or county commission meeting. The papers are fairly easy and he gives you an outline to follow. As long as you follow the outline given you will pass

This man Logas is the best professor out there. I'm slow in education and this man is kinda but not really tough. Trust me if I can do it you can do it. I took this professor online and I loved this class. You do two observations that are done outside of class which can be difficult for those who have busy lives. Easy A if you participate in the discussions and do your work.

Professor Logas is a good professor. There were only 4 assignments plus a midterm and final. You have to attend two local government observation which weren't difficult and are actually fun! However, I am not fond of his grading scale. in order to get an A in the class you need a 92 or higher. Make sure to do the discussion boards for full points.

There are a total of 4 assignments, a final and midterm. You will have plenty of time for the 4 assignments (He is not a tough grader if you follow instructions). Please do the discussion board for the midterm and final exams, the points will help your grade (I SUGGEST TO FILL OUT ALL THE QUESTIONS AND STUDY THEM). To get an A you need a 92.

I took his RTV class (real-time virtual) and it was very enjoyable. He's very pleasant and gives good feedback on assignments and tests. There are 3 tests and a final exam. Also a couple of writing assignments you have to do but they are pretty easy. I do recommend that you go over the study guides and read the textbook. It helps! Def recommend!

Clear grading criteria, fun and engaging lectures. Participating in class and optional discussions will earn you extra credit. Shoe up on time to zoom lectures. Study guides provide key words only but definitions are extremely easy to find in the textbook. Tests not proctored/mutiple-choice, some short answer questions & extra credit questions.

Professor Logas is the BEST professor I have EVER had! He gives the most entertaining lectures, and he teaches them so you actually learn and he challenges you to do your own research to form your view on things. Just show up to class (virtually), do the quizzes, and study the study guide and end of chapter questions and youll be good! A LEGEND!!!

Second time I've taken Prof. Logas class. There's only 6 assignments (including mid & final) but they are all very intense. Specifically the City & County government meetings which you must watch in full (upwards of 8+ hour vids) then write a report on. If you're alright with writing a lot I would recommend, I liked him both times I've been w/ him.

Awesome professor, super cool and down to earth. a few essay, but are easy and hes an easy grader, only thin is he makes you attend 2 city council meetings online that are 5 hours long and record your experience, other than that, it an easy A with little to no effort at all.

Your grade is literally based off like 10 stuff. So do GOOD on the assignments. He does this assignment its called "our world topic" basically a presentation to class with just a paragraph of each source.

Took Professor Logas in an RTV course. He is very quick at responding to correspondence and entering grades, and also provides study guides. Gives a lot of lectures which overwhelming consist of conservative talking points. Having said that, if you are liberal, he does not penalize your grades based on your political beliefs.

Professor Logas is probably my favorite teacher I have EVER HAD! I took his RTV course and I do not regret it for a second. There is a LOT of work in the first half of the course, but if you give your best effort he gives extra credit points. Everyone in America should take his class, because he tells the absolute truth about our country.

Professor Logas was by far my favorite. There are about 10 assignments including exams. He provides study guides for exams and multiple attempts for quizzes. The our world assignments are only 2 minutes of presenting, so easy. He is very strict on attendance and being on time for class. It counts towards your grade. you learn so much in lecture!

Professor Logas was probably my favorite professor for the semester. His lectures were hilarious, and he was very passionate about the US Govt and the constitution, which is to be expected. There were 3 exams including the final exam, and about 2 actual homework assignments. Attendance is mandatory, and you must be on time. Otherwise, 10/10

Professor Logas speaks truth and encourages you to think for yourself, consider both sides, and not to be persuaded by media. Professor Logas is super nice and understanding for the most part. There's not a lot of assignments in this class but the ones that are assigned are very time consuming. There's five discussion boards, two government meeting observation and papers, a midterm and a final.

Professor Logas is great. There are only 2 exams & 4 assignments during the entire course. The assignments are extremely time consuming though but he sends at least 3 reminders per week about them so it is very difficult for you to forget about them. Provides extremely in depth and lengthy feedback but definitely helpful.

He provides more information outside of our study guides and I learned more than I could have imagined from this course. His grading outline and expectation are clearly detailed. Professor Logas only has 5 assignments, be ready to put time and effort into this class because a grade lower than a 92 is a B, but if you put effort in, he will reward you with extra points on exams and projects as well and discussions. He grades very fairly and helps out a ton, but one of the assignments will be to watch a 4hour commision meeting
