Ancient, Western, and Honors East-West humanities. AWESOME teacher I would highly recommend him. Very intelligent has a great way of teaching the subject and making it extremely easy to understand. Funny and Passionate in subject, and just plain out cool.

Lulek teaches as if he is a story teller. He sucks you into these stories and you can't help but remeber every detail of them. I took all three Humanities with him and it was a really cool class.

Awesome professor. Keeps everthing entertaining. The way he tells stories makes it feel like he was there and knows exactly what and how things went down. Definetly recommend if you want to learn something and be entertained at the same time.

He knows and understands what he teaches BUT he does have a lot of tests and quizes. Tests are on HIS notes and quizes are on book questions.If you like to study take him but if not I wouldn't. It's his way or no way as far as essay questions go...

Mr. Lulek is not only amazingly intelligent, but very open minded. I found I loved East/West when I had been dreading it all along. I certainly did not find him judgmental when my opinions did not mirror his. Great class!

The best teacher at Tarpon Campus, hands down. A great storyteller. If you pay attention in class and write you essays as if you actually LEARNED the material, you will get a good grade.

It's not a very hard class provided that you study and pay attention in class. He explains things thoroughly and knows his stuff extremely well. I'd highly recommend him.

lulek rocks. he is very passionate about his subjects and also incredibly knowledgeable. he makes class fun and interesting by using a variety of multimedia sources and encourages plenty of student participation. his classes are more like a discussion than a lecture.

I took MR. Lulek for east/west online, and it was a lot of reading and searching on the Internet for information. Test were kind of difficult, but it is a pretty easy class if you pay attention and take a lot of notes.

He definitly does make the material interesting for those that arent that big into history. And he always adds fun facts to his lectures for those that are history buffs. Highly recommended! Far better than any other HUM professors.

I agree, Lulek is the BEST. I have learned from him than any other professor (followed closely by Liebert). I have a love of art and humanities that I did not have before and it is all thanks to him! Great teaching style, very fair and vast subject knowledge. I am majoring in teaching and hope to be half as inspiring as he is.

As said previously, DO NOT MISS THIS TEACHER!!! One of the best, if not the best teacher ever because of his knowledge and ability to tell fantastic stories. Don't think you don't need Humanities for your major. This class could change your life.

He's not a bad teacher but the answers he requires need a LOT of depth and you cannot half-ass it.

GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!!!! I cannot say it enough. He is wonderful.He will jump up and down, and he gets so excited. All around nice man. Great professor. Take him and you will not be sorry. Just do the reading and questions and you will do well, and learn quite a bit along the way.

makes history and art interesting, well at least it doesnt make you sleep. shows picutres and videos and makes class more interesting and i took it very early in the morning

WHOA!! This guy is AWESOME!! he isnt an easy A, but you learn SOO much! I had no interest going into this class, but I came out with such an appreciation for it! HIGHLY reccomended. I took him in a morning class, and never had problems with falling asleep. VERY energetic and knowledgeable teacher.

This teacher is one you will not want to miss. The answers he does want are in-depth. He wants to know that you think... But he is so interesting you will learn if you want to or not. You want to do well in his class. He is very dynamic and his classes are like continuing sagas. Great Teacher.

Tough teacher. He's a hard grader. You'll have an assignment worth 15 pts and if a question is not answered exactly they way he wants, he'll dock points.

Wow. Someone rated last year mentioned Lulek and Liebert- I happen to have had both this semester. GREAT semester- I am so glad I came on this site first. Lulek is great, I hope to need him for another class! I think I will end up with a low B after the final next week ::hope:: but the info was SO interesting & fun. Loved the in-class paper.

Mr. Lulek is a fantastic professor. He probably fits in the top five most caring professors. He looks for the effort given by the individual even if his students' grades aren't quite par level. If you show him you care, he'll take time out of his day to help you with anything the class covered. Take him for Humanities if you already haven't! :-)

Lulek was awesome! He graded fairly and definitely helps you out a lot if you've shown interest in the class. I wish I could take him for every class! He made everything very interesting! But he starts he sometimes starts sentences and doesn't finish them hahaha (if you take him you'll know wut I'm talking about!) TAKE HIM IF U CAN u wont regret it

Amazing professor. Passionate about the topics and he helps you see the content in unusual and unique ways. He is a tough, but fair, grader though. Expect to work hard if you want a good grade!

I loved this class, and I hate anything to do with history or art! He made this subject so interesting I found myself actually getting into everything he talked about. If you need a a teacher that will keep you interested, definitely take him. Make sure you study for the tests though, they can be doozies.

Excellent online course! responds to emails fast, by far the best structured online course i ever took, instead of stupid 2000 word papers on nothing he has u do legnthy review sheets that teach you what will be on the test, GREAT TEACHER!

BEST TEACHER EVER! Never once was in a bad mood, great personality. He teaches soooo well, he was definitely meant for this job. He gets so into it and truly loves his work (YOU CAN TELL). He is also SOOO understanding and helpful. Definitely my favorite! OH he does have a Funny habit of starting a sentence and not finishing it LOL.

A most outstanding instructor. He is enthusiastic about his subject and you'll find that you can't help but listen, even if you weren't previously interested in the subject (although he has a habit of not completing some of his sentences). He provides study guides prior to each test so if you study there is no reason not to do well.

Mr. Lulek isone of the best teachers you will encounter, anywhere. Even prior teachers at a top-notch, private New England colleg did not leave me hanging on every word like this man does. Mr.lulek was awsome. i have to admitt i was not very interested in the subject at first.However, he made it fun. He really cares about his students. He tries so hard to learn everyone's name.the class was easy, but you need to show up to get a good grade on the test. he goes over everything that will be on the test in class.great teacher!!!!

He loves what he teaches - very charismatic and entertaining. His tests are very hard, but his quizzes are pretty easy if you go over the study guide questions. He tells you which questions will be on quiz. I recommend him if you're not taking other difficult/time consuming classes. The course is highly interesting, but the work is time consuming.

Prof Lulek is the most amazing professor I have ever had. Class is only about India, China, and Japan; but you will learn things that actually apply to life. It is a little difficult, but worth it. I feel like I have learned more than history and art. Notes are extremely helpful, and he will help you if needed. Take this professor at least once!!!

THis class was pretty easy. If you do the guided reading questions that he tells you to do, then you should pretty much get an A in the class. He talked about more art than anything, not much about anything else.

Lulek was very interesting, he had his funny moments and overall was not that hard. The review questions he gives before his quizzes are pretty much it and his tests are pretty much the quizzes, more or less. If you take a question or paper to him, he will gladly give you any advice to get an A.He seems very interested in his subject,& I liked him.

Tells you basically what is on the test and quizzes. He talks a lot and half the stuff is useless and not needed for test or quizzes. He'll be explaining some thing and then... well hold on lets talk about something else. If you know this, tell me yes!!

An amazing professor! Really fascinating, puts so much enthusasim into his lectures, which makes it really enjoyable.

I can't say enough about this man! He was my first professor at SPC and four years later, he is still my favorite. This guy could easily teach at Harvard. He cares about every student. His lectures are engaging. He is a sincere & lovely man. There is a beautiful presence about Lulek that oozes out of his pores. I loved him! Wonderful professor !

Not for the faint of heart, but if you want a teacher who is passionate about his subject, is tough but wants you to succeed, and has a brilliant mind, then this is the class for you. Came into the class just wanting to fulfill a requirement; left with my outlook on life changed forever.

I really enjoyed this class. Professor Lulek is one of the best professors I've ever had. My advice: study for the tests and quizzes and do the paper. Also, take notes because you will need him. He's a very nice guy and he's really clear with his lectures. He also makes learning fun and he incorporates extra credit. Easy A.

Enjoyed this class. This instructor was consistent in everything! The assignment in questions from the weekly readings were always easy to find if you read the material. The supplemental information he gives was always very interesting regarding other cultures. I had hoped he taught Humanities II, however, he didn't (very disappointing).

Great teacher! Take lots of notes though! Please avoid Professor Cornett and just take Lulek! He is SO passionate about what he teaches, (and loves prople who finish his sentances. lol.) You should make a binder in this class and organize it by sections... it'll be helpful!

Weekly assignments, 3 tests, 2 Discussion posts. He works in extra credit into each assignment. Do ALL the weekly assignments and take the tests. NO EASY ( YOU CAN NOT GOOGLE FOR ANSWERS lol), Must know the material before you take the tests. took online and acheived a B. (missed 2 assignments or would have acheived an A).

I took this course online. It was interesting and Mr. Lulek's great communication as well as his crystal clear instructions made it easy to follow. I would highly recommend Mark Lulek!

I had little interest in this course, just needed to take it. However, Prof. Lulek organized the content of Angel very well. He provides feedback on everything, which is nice. If I had to, I would take him again. The instructions are unambiguous and clear. Over all, a good teacher.

Wonderful class/instructor! Although this class was extremely easy, I still feel as though I learned a lot. Class consisted of a total of four tests, two easy discussions, and a section of questions each week, which were all online. Make sure you are organized for his tests because they are pretty tricky. Would take this professor again.

Summer -online course. He replies quickly & actually reads your stuff. Yes the study guides have lots of questions, but you'll learn a lot. Only 3 test BUT open book /notes. Use the study guides for these AND the replies he gives for them. The end writing assign is just an open discussion very easy. Excellent teacher will take him again.

The material consisted of weekly questions, three exams, and two discussion posts. Exams are timed and open book. He is fair in his grading. Grades assignments very quickly. Would take him again.

One of the best instructors at St Pete College. Excellent lecturer and he is passionate about the subject matter. Work consists of weekly quizzes and three tests. There is also a paper due on contrasting/critiquing two pieces of art. If you study the material you'll do fine.

I took Lulek 10 years ago for several course including honors. He is absolutely fantastic When taking his class don't just think about what he is talking about at the moment, but think about how it all connects. He is teaching about who you are, your history, about your ancestors and decisions they made to get you where you are today. Awesome
