Mark Maier is definitely not an easy grader. He gives you tons of work, as if you aren't taking any other classes and the pace is as if you already know the subject & just need a refresher. He is all about information overload, very difficult to get a good grade--even if you attend the SI, you will not be happy with your grade. Bad explanations.

Mr. Maier i think is one of the best professors i've had. The way he has set up his class makes you engage in his lectures(if u show up to class that is)and if you just pay attention and have a little bit of common sense i think you'll be just fine. Yes, the assignments may seem a little tedious but they really help you understand the material.

ONLINE QUIZES ARE TIMED. Even if the quiz for example consists one question, IT SHOULDN'T BE TIMED. The first quiz is 10 questions multiple choice, the catch is that there are about 6-7 choices to pick from and all of them sounding similar and what not. 15 minutes to complete a college-level quiz should be illegal.
