This is the best English teacher I've ever had. He is all about group work when it comes to grammar work sheets (you're not graded on it), when you write essays it is never the final draft for an essay unless there is an A on the paper, so he checks your work and has to revise your mistakes. He makes the class fly by.

This has to be the easiest English class I've ever been in. We only wrote about 4 essays, and there's just no way you can't get an A. He'll revise your paper for you, and usually if you just make the changes he wants, you're going to get an A.

AMAZING professor. Such an easy class.. only wrote 4 essays and the final essay was supposed to be 8-10pages.. just talked him down to a 4-5 page essay ha. Definitely RECOMMEND

Mark Meyers is an eccentric professor. Instead of just giving you a grade on a paper, he will edit and give back you paper with feedback to fix it. So you know what you did wrong and actually learn from it. He reminds me of the comedian Dane Cook with his mannerism. Makes English interesting and wish I could have a teacher like him every class.

I am so blessed that I had the opportunity to take this class with Mr. Meyers. I now have the confidence that i need to tackle college head on! This was my only teacher that took the time to show each student their true potential. Mark Meyers is an amazing teacher!!

Prof. Myers teaches ENG 101,and 102. Easy teacher to get along with. If you ever have problems just comunicate to him and he works with you. Best thing is you continue to work on your papers until you earn an "A". Go to class, get your papers written correctly, get feedback, get an "A"!

Mark definitely made sure every student worked to their full potential. He gave feedback for every paper to make sure it was perfect. He was available to help students at any time of the day. His humor and interesting stories made me want to attend class.

Myers was a very good teacher. He maintained a lesson plan while still engaging in side exercises and papers that made you REALLY think and in the end improve your skills in language and writing. Even though it was a tough semester for him he was still always there to help edit papers and expand ideas. I really enjoyed him as a teacher.

I don't like english at all! But Mark really made the class enjoyable and fun. I took both 101 and 102 from him and both classes were great. Just be sure to not miss any classes and keep up with the work. Super easy A!:)

Mark made a subject I'm not a huge fan of enjoyable. He's very outgoing, helpful, and easy to communicate with. He goes out of his way to help students succeed. Once or twice his HW assignment would be a bit unclear, but being as the class I attended had time limitations I'm sure his flurry to assign HW at the end of class was due to this.

Mark was my professor for ENG101 and ENG102 8 years ago, and I still consider him to be one of my mentors. His effortless passion made the material relevant and fundamental. I graduated 2 years ago with my Bachelor’s in English. Mark is responsible for turning a general education requirement into my declared major.

The best English teacher so far. He works hard to help you understand what we are going over. I wrote probably a total of 7 papers with this class and all of them were corrected and we were given the chance to redo the paper to get a better grade. If you put effort in and attend class like you should, you will enjoy the funny teacher.

I took this class while still attending high school and Mr. Meyers is great! Work load is very reasonable, hardly any homework other than the 4 essays for the semester, and he is willing to revise, help and instruct. Take this class with Mr. Meyers, you won't regret it.

For an English professor, Meyers is my top pick! He is a stickler for the finer points of English such as punctuation and proper writing etiquette, things that sometimes slip through the cracks in high school. Mr. Meyers is a master teacher and is all about student progress. I loved his approach to learning to write of "keep editing until it is an 'A' paper". You do the work, but he will help you succeed. Mr. Meyers has earned my respect as a man who desires to improve the conditions of society by bestowing students with the power to use written language to not only clearly express one's self, but to acquire and transmit information, knowledge, and wisdom. There is a great respect for the written word in his mind and a deep compassion in his heart.

I took him for both English 101 and 102. I had not been in school for a long time and he made going back to school easy. He was good on getting papers back to you with feedback and suggestions. I would recommend him for any student at any level.

excellent teacher! had him for eng101 and eng102. If u show up and do the assign papers u will have an "A". he has a redo 'till it is an A policy, u get to redo all ur papers as many times as needed. He is very easy going and chill on everything but attendance. Cares about students, he is very understanding talk to him and he will work with u.

Easy A! As long as you do what he asks and you are in a seat at the end of the semester, you are golden! Makes the class enjoyable and fun and if you take his 7:10 to 9:50pm class, you'll need it.

Mark Meyer's is an excellent professor, He's a tough teacher when grading. Likes to be in class teaching to his student always making the class laugh. Had a good semeter I will take English 102 with Mr. Meyer's for the fall if possible and works with my schedule!

Professor Meyers' class is what you make of it. He assigns four papers and lets you know far in advance what they are and the length of them. He provides examples of well written papers and also gives you feedback until the paper is good/ an A if you wanna get an A. Just make sure you don't fall behind because gathering sources and reading for them
