Mr. Music is an Awesome Instructor, his teaching style is fun and interesting. He is truely a professor you want to take!!

I would recommend him for labs especially as he will give extensive help, as for study guides...the ircc bio department policy is not to have them! as for lecture classes, notes are key

He's a pretty good teacher, tends to use the powerpoint slides and go too fast. His tests were either too easy or too hard, so I don't know if he just needs to get that part of teaching down or what. He didn't give a written project, just an oral presentation on whatever you want to present. I learned a lot.

He always lets you out early, and makes it really easy. most of the time he just gives you the answers in the lab manual. He tells you what will be on the test, tells weird jokes. He's cool.

i loved him..i was never that into the ocean before i went to his class. he is relle good and i learned alot..beware first test is hard the rest are easy!

Prof. Music is a great teacher for the Biology Lab class. He goes straight by the book and his reviews are spot on for the tests. Extra credit on every exam...based on his corny but funny jokes. They lighten up the class a lot. I highly recommend this teacher if you want to pass this lab.

Took this professor for lab. It was easy as long as you study. 3 tests, 1 gets dropped, and a final, extra credit in every test, which makes a difference. Very laid back, highly recommend.

TAKE HIM ! i'm not too sure about those who have taken his oce courses but as far as life science goes - he's wonderful . easy material . generous curves . makes this class somewhat interesting (although his jokes are bad) he's a good teacher . i definately recommend

AWESOME TEACHER! I am not good at Biology but he made the lab a lot of fun! I actually wanted to go to class =D! He breaks down the hard stuff to something we can understand! Write down everything he says for the test review ... he ALWAYS gives extra credit on the test OH AND HE ALWAYSSS LETS YOU OUT EARLY .. woo!

you could never go to class and show up the class b4 the tests to do the review and probably still get a good grade. must have failed the final cause i had a 93 going into it. buckle down and study hard for that one. also had him for lab & got an A even tho i never really paid attention. mad i got a B in lecture cause it should be an easy A for ne1

Mr. Music is a great teacher. I took Intro to Ocenography on main campus as an elective and had not much interest in the subject but he made it fun. I would recommend taking him. Very helpful! You have a powerpoint presentation at the end of the semester... but it's pretty easy. I looked forward to going to class.

Great teacher makes the class interesting. You have to work for your grade. He is willing to help anyone. You can tell that he really likes his profession.

Had him for Earth Science, and he did the best he could considering it was a boring class. Teaches from powerpoint, and all of it is from the book. Got a B in the class. Again ESC1000 is a pretty boring class, but if you're taking it, try to get Music. He makes it fun and interesting.

he's very easy going. he answers your questions right away. goes a little fast on his slides but doesnt mind going back. jokes are corny but it's not annoying. tests are easy. its college, you have to apply yourself still but it's not a hard class. i recommend Music.

Had Music for BSC2010L and loved it! I learned more in his lab than I did in the lecture. Very easygoing guy and is truely passionate about the subject and makes the material very easy to learn. Highly recommended!

He's a fun guy. Prof. Music makes the class feel light and stress free. Overall, he's really easy - it can get annoying when the questions he tells you are on the test are NOT. To get a good grade you do have to study, but it's easier than most.

Mr. Music is a fun teacher. Yeah he uses Dr. Bowens powerpoints..But she is the head of the bio department...cant fault him for that. He gives accurate test reviews and if you study them, you will do well on his tests...He is an easy-going guy and he cracks corney jokes, but its a breath of fresh air compared to other professors.enjoyable class

So..Ive taken biology two times already and failed. This is my third time taking it and i HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! EASY A. all you have to do is come the day of the review and write down the study guide. Just study those questions and they are the same as exam. Other than that class is borrrring.

He is by far the worlds greatist teacher. If you pay attention in class and do you reading you will do well.(we are in college it is our rersponsibility to learn material). He goes over material you can go. If you do not understand he will stay there with you and help.WOW!! I think he can teach. The guy is very smart. I wish I had him for everthing

He is awesome! He is funny and keeps the lectures interesting. His tests are well written and he is open to class conversation. At the end of the final, he shook everyones hand and thanked them for attending his class. A great guy and wonderful teacher. I failed Bio with D and i retake it with Music and i pass with A in summer 2 2011...awesome teacher, he is very funny and helpful...He always do test review so make sure you write down all the questions during review because you will be getting the exact questions! I highly recommend him, you will av no regrets!!

Mr. Music is the best! Biology is a hard class and requires lots of reading and understanding the material. But he made it simple as best as he can. I got an A in his class. I learned so much from him and actually looked forward to going to his class. I totally recommend him!

I didnt know how good I had it with this Prof. until I went on to Bio 2 Lab! Easiest Prof. at IRSC HANDS DOWN! We didnt even really do any of the labs ourselves, he demonstrates them for us instead! Tests were super easy and I passed with an 'A' no problem at all :)The exams had extra credit jokes on them that he had told during class. LOVED IT :)

Mr. Music is an awesome teacher. He makes science fun. People say he is easy and he is if you pay attention and study the study guide. You still have to want to be there and listen. Very great and funny. I wish he taught more sciences because I took all the ones he teaches!

Review for tests are exactly what is on the test. Last question is always a joke that he has said in class.

Easy A if you pay attention on test review day. He tells plenty of corny jokes but they will show up on tests so listen. Get out of class 45 min. early on a regular basis. I also took the lab and it was the same way. I never really needed either textbook. He handed out a lab packet for lab and the class is all done from power point.

Really nice guy! Shook everyone's hand on the last day of class. His reviews are basically the test, and his power points are pretty helpful. Lets you out really early, too! Only downside is that he has trouble clarifying things, if you haven't taken any sort of biology class before, this class might be a little challenging. I recommend him!

Mr. Music is a really nice guy and a wonderful instructor, but he has a dry sense of humor most of the time. You don't have to copy the ppnts if you don't want to,but it does help you study for your tests b/c the majority of the tests are from the ppnts. Bring a recording device with you on the review days because he is not a study guide person.

Good teacher. easy class if you look over the powerpoints and review terms in your book. i got an A in this class during summer. Some of his jokes are on the test, so pay attention even if you don't think they are funny. He is a funny guy though and if you study you can definitely get an A

Hands down the best professor at IRSC! I had him for summer one and I got an A. He's extremely helpful and he wants everyone to do well in his class. On the day of the final, he shook everyone's hand and wished each of us a great summer. His tests are easy and some of his jokes are on the test. I definitely recommend him!!

Great teacher! He's a super funny guy who includes jokes into all his lectures. You can tell he really cares about his students because he always offers help. Another good thing about him is that he never gets upset or mad at any of the students. We did a lot of talking in that class and he never said anything. I 100% recommend him!

If you want an easy A, this is the class for you. If you want to learn, don't take it. He gives you the questions and answers to all the tests. He drops the lowest test grade. You only have to show up for the "reviews" and test days. Easiest class ever

My 2nd favorite teacher of all time. He is a really nice guy, he loves science and loves to teach. He could make the tests a little more difficult though. He does go over the material extremely fast BUT he does a review for every test which is amazing, it makes you unable to fail his class. Passed with an A. Highly recommend

Mr. Music is a great teacher who puts humor in his lectures. He teaches via a slide show rather than direct from the book and puts his own spin on the explanations. As a science lover, this is a very fun and easy class, however, I do suggest reading the text and taking notes. The Tests are not hard, but it helps to understand the material.

This guy is awesome He grades tests only and a few online quizes. I had him once a week from 6:35 to 9 and he literally let us out at 7:30 every night. All his notes are on black board and I didn't even open my text book.

Professor Music is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He is knowledgeable. He make his class very interesting, with his hilarious jokes. I am comfortable with his teaching style so I learn better. show up do your work, its an easy A. I recommend him, take his class you wont regret it.

Mark Music was an amazing teacher. He shows videos an relates Biology to easier things so it's easy to remember! Test are easy! Just listen to him in class and you'll get a good grade.

Honestly one of my favorite professors. The lectures were short and he had a great sense of humor and the tests were easy. I never even had to open the textbook

I have had Mr. Music for previous classes and he is a good teacher. Expectations are clear, he uses power point for his lectures and gives you an idea of what to look for on the exams. Listen to his lectures, make flash cards and you will pass.

Prepare to do the work and you will pass. He's clear on his grading criteria. If you work hard you will see results. Overall very dedicated teacher and he tries to be funny. Gives some of those silly questions on the test.

You need to be read and follow the syllabus . Most of the class is listening to lectures.

Super easy class. do not take if you already took Biology 1, it's the same material. Lectures were not that interactive. If you want an easy A, this is the class for you.

Second time taking Music. He's the best. He's a very funny guy. He loves to see his students learn and enjoy class. His tests are pretty straight forward, but you should study. His jokes are bad, but it makes the learning environment more positive. Don't be scared to ask and answer questions. He wants every student to do well!

Excellent teacher. Lectures most of the class but adds a lot of interesting "tid bits". All the PowerPoints he reads on Blackboard to you can can go back and read all of the material covered in class. You are only graded on your tests and final exam. He tells a lot of dad jokes that are sometimes on the tests (easy extra points!).

Music is a great professor! Funny, knows what he's talking about. I would take him again in a heart beat. There is a review before each test which helps. A great person, great professor. You have to actually try to fail with him!

The class was fine but I do not like science so I was not super excited about it anyways. We would get out of class 40 minutes early almost every class. Study for tests and his class is an easy A. He goes to fast for you to take notes but you don't need the notes to study. He is a nice teacher but his jokes and the worst jokes ever.

He really wants all his students to succeed, his tests are very similar to the online quizzes he posts (which aren't graded, just practice) He has corny jokes, but they aren't so bad. Professor Music is one of the most caring professors at IRSC. He truly wants to help his students succeed. His class is an easy A as long you show up to class on time and listen to his presentation. Every class ended up being dismissed an hour early. Remember the questions on the chapter tests; his final exam is a combination of them all.

Mr. Music was by far a good professor with a great sense of humor. No homework, tests are online, and you have a presentation in class to make. Professor always has good jokes at the end of class.

Your grade is about 4 tests, he drops lowest test grade. It is very simple and common sense science. I took Biology before this, this is a few steps down from that for perspective. I skipped quite a bit still got good test scores he has reviews before them. He jokes a lot during class but very easy A if you understand basic science.

LOVED having music as a teacher, I had him for biology. Just show up to class, read the chapters, review your power points and practice the quizzes he puts online to help (which are the test questions also) and Easy A! He gives you everything you need to succeed! His tests are not hard, everything is multiple choice.

So easy, the tests were the online quizzes he gave us for homework, verbatim.

As a pre- nursing student, his concern for my understanding was very much appreciated. I found his class very helpful when preparing for the HESI. He has a great deal of knowledge & is willing to share it !

He makes a lot of dad jokes whether you love or hate it. The tests are online so you really dont need to show up until the day of test. Very easy PowerPoint due, he makes the test questions and will make 2 answers of each question funny so even if you dont study its very obvious. I am taking him again - easy A.

the BEST teacher I ever had, he ACTUALLY cares about your grade and wants to see his students pass the class! I would take him again if I could. His test are multiple choice so thats a plus he made my semester a breeze ( NO JOKE)

Mr. Music is a really great teacher and it's very hard to fail his class. He tells really funny jokes. The only "hard" thing that you have to do is a presentation, and that's really not that hard. There are only a few tests and you have practice tests that you can use to study. If you happen to miss a class, it won't be the end of the world.

Great teacher!!!! I would take him for ALL of my science classes if I could!!! Read the book, review the slides and come to class. He will work with you especially if he sees you trying. Professor clearly loves the subjects he teaches and it is infectious in the best way. He likes to lecture, but includes jokes, personal anecdotes, and thought-provoking questions to keep things interesting. Class itself is pretty mild, with little to no homework and very fairly graded tests. I had fun!

Very easy A. There weren't a lot of grades to get put in but everything that was graded was very easy. Due dates were extremely lenient. He used the textbook for lectures but you really didn't need one to pass. He was really funny, too. The only thing is that I felt like I didn't learn much, so only take it if you just need the credits.

Very easy class with few assignments, loves telling jokes and puns. Would take again!
