He's the man! Very easy going. Gives you extra time with your papers. Lots of writing, but hey, it's English. He's worth your time. He's really one of the best out there. However easy, you really learn from him.

really nice teacher.....he lets you slide when it comes to handing in work late...not ALL the time, but most of the time. he explains everything thoroughly. and he lets class out early sometimes too.

Never realized how clear and helpful he was until I got my EG 121 professor, who never explained her assignments clearly. I have to admit that professor Mark Moonan is the best and most understanding English professor I've ever seen.

He's the best prof. I've ever had. He cares about every students in the class and always available to students who needs help! Unfortunately, I couldn't take him for my EG121 (which I had an extremely hard time with that prof.) Prof. Noonan still willing to help me with my papers and with his help I passed my EG121 with good grade. He's great!!!

The best of the best. He makes good book selections and is very easy going with the schedule of assigments, reading and grading. If you want to do good make sure you do the readings and class assigments.

This prof. is very easygoing. He makes the readings in class very interesting...a little bit homework, but well worth it and he offers for you to turn it in late and revisions as well.

Amazing professor!He helps with assignments. We do a class review of essaysbefore we have to hand them in. He reviews everyones drafts!!This helps you get good grades. If u ever have questions he helpsanswe them , he even printed out the storys from the textbook out of the kindness of his heart. COOL GUY TAKE HIM ASAP

I took his Literature class over the 2011 Summer Session 1, he is grey at teaching, very helpful and outgoing. In the short month I took his class, I saw a great professor doing what he loves, and that love for teaching is such an inspiration! Don't hesitant taking him, you will learn so much, just do the work and get an easy A or B at least

One of three English professor I had in City Tech. the other two are Jennifer Sears and Monique Ferrell. Awesome grader, give you the chance to redo your paper if you not satisfy with it. Very nice person, you will never regret meeting him.

Best Professor I have taken class with, he makes sure everyone gets his attention and sits with them to explain the assignments, a man that was born to teach, he's genius. Stay on top of your Hws, Participate and you have a guarantee B at least. He will make you be more interesting in reading.

This professor is just an amazing human being. He is funny and understanding and teaches English in such a productive way. I loved English before his class and now I love it even more; I learned so much. His class really is so easy: almost no homework, 5 papers, 3 quizzes and a final. Just do the readings and participate in class. Guaranteed A.

Easy professor,very helpful and flexible for submitting homework, gives extra credit assignments and explains everything clearly. Overall experience of this class was enjoyable. Little effort and you get an A easily.

I LOVE THIS PROFESSOR ! TAKE HIM! he turned my writing from okay to amazingly perfect. If you also have to take English 2000 (Literature) Get him also. Hes Such a nice guy, friendly funny and someone you can talk to. I had him for the summer semester And he is so helpful. For the summer semester he didnt use a textbook only handouts.

One of the best professor i had in this school. very helpful, clear in voice and gives less essay to write. he tries his best to help you out. i never liked literature, but he went through most of the essay, poem and explained it to us which made it easier for me to study.

If you have a chance, take his class. Very clear and helpful also, will can contact through email. All you do is a pre class reading for one or two stories may give 2 random quizzes(only 2 questions and wont affect your grade) he corrects then lets you revise essays then gives you a final grade on them...same as your final paper(research paper)

His class is really easy to pass. Do the work and hand it in on time and you're good. My advice for his Journalism class is to be versatile in the topics you choose. I'd definitely take him again if i could.

Professor Noonan, is an amazing professor. He's probably the most understandable professor at city tech. His assignments are also fun. He keeps you very interested in the readings and really cares. He also lets students re-do papers for a better grade. Overall, get into his class.

He's always in a good mood. always willing to make appointments for students. online class was just a response on the reading. didn't hand in the final and got an A-. only got 3 big papers including departmental & final. wont get mad if you hand in something late, he's very understandable.

This professor is Awesome. I took his class on summer 2014. He is great. you don't need to buy book. But yes you need to write essays. Before taking his class, i drop 2 times ENG 102 class. But, this professor is easy, well educated and he has lots of information. Highly recommended whose if you need A grade or if you are an immigrant student.

I had Professor Noonan for Poetry. The class was interesting. He gave three essays and a final paper. He gives you supportive feedback and allows you to revise the papers. He is a smart man and respects his students a lot.

Please take him and you'll not regret. He's an amazing professoer that teaches from the heart. He's super funny. And best of all he makes the course syallable relevant to our lives in the society. FYI, he's the only professor I know from NYCCT that distributes weekly readings to his students. How can I not admire such a thoughful person.

Best Professor Ever!

He is a really good professor. Always there for you, when you need it. He will teach you a lot of writing skills. He always gives you second chance to fix your paper, with great feedbacks. He doesn't give any extra quizzes except midterm and final. I would love to take him again. GREAT professor. No Textbook- He has PDF version book online.

He is so great, easy and understandable. Midterms and finals are all related to society. Book is NOT needed! He puts it in PDF and uses open lab to communicate & upload any files. He gives opportunities to revise the essay at least twice before handing it. at least 3-4 essays,really easy. he is open to share and receive ideas. Really recommended.

He is a very relaxed professor and very willing to work with you. Literature class so he handed out readings which we discussed in class. Saw a movie. One essay. One final. Just show up, relax, and get your A.

Professor Noonan is always there for you, he actually cares about what he's teaching and he relates it to real life topics. I took him for the spring semester of 2016. There was 3 pop quizzes (all you have to do is read & you'll pass) and one essay. Seriously TAKE HIM!!!!

ONE OF THE BEST!

Definitely one of the BEST English professors I had while in city tech. He cares about his students education so much that he goes to the extent of wanting students to learn new vocabulary words as well as explore the art work around the city that was inspired by authors we read about and their text.

Mans is good! 100/100 . I felt like his class was the best part about my freshman semester. He open my eyes to the state of the NYC community. I ACTUALLY learned something. Bless up.

He was awesome. No textbook was needed, he printed out short stories and even puts the link of the story on open lab. He made us write a short comment on open lab every week. He is a very lenient grader, just watch your grammar and give good analysis. We only had 1 midterm paper. For final, it was in-class essay but topic was given day before.

Take his class. Best in City Tech. 3 Essay and One Research essay and final is easy. I bad in English but if take him you will be much better than you enter his class.

He is simply electrifying. Don't miss out on being in this guy class. If you go to City Tech and you need a creative expression credit you go to this guy. I mean he has great course material and the home works bring something out of you, like I am amazed. Just take one of his classes. He like the RVD theme song, One of a kind.

Hes the best part of my schedule to be real with yall. You have to write 5 essays over the class period but he is very direct and teaches interesting topics. He gives you great feedback on essay corrections. Only missed his class once because I just liked being in the class. He is probably the best English professor I seen I was lucky to have him

Firstly, I took this class out of pure interest; it was not required for me to take it. Professor Noonan is clearly, when you hear him speak, well distinguished and capable in his field of Journalism. He speaks with passion and is very respectful in terms of helping students understand the world of Journalism and the world itself. Def needs raise!

If you want to boost up your grade then take Prof Noonan. He is the best professor in City Tech. He is very caring and respectful to students. His Homework is not lot and easy and straightforward. This guy is 10 out 10. His class is also interesting.

Professor Noonan by far had the greatest impact on me; I took this class purely out of interest and paid out of pocket. He is genuinely passionate about the subject of Journalism, and if you don't care about the subject or are lazy, do not take this class. I now attend Baruch and study political science with interests in journalism. Thanks Prof!

Prof. Noonan was a real gem! Probably the best English professor I have ever had. He gives weekly feedbacks and especially on papers his feedback is truly helpful. There's no way you can get less than an A, he's pretty lenient on grading as well and the syllabus is straightforward. Would deff take him again wish he taught other subjects!
