Mark far exceeds in his profession with his hands on approach he is definitely approachable to where this is my first time in college he took time to explain everything to where I could understand and execute.You don't find this kind of character in all professors I am thankful he teaches where I go to school.

The material in this class in laid out from the beginning all you have to do is do the work! The professor is a funny guy that give you chances to get the work done and if you take one of his longer classes like myself then you can look forward to getting out early . He gets weirdly strict with his essays, more so then the tests. His midterm was hard but his final was easy. Ask questions even when it seems obvious because he has a specific set of expectations

Prof. Nusspickel was an amazing teacher and helped me in COMP 1 so much that I took him again for COMP 2. He's very kind and funny, but takes his job and the work seriously. The class was very enjoyable and it was easy to make some friends during any small 'group' work.

Professor Nusspickel is nice. You will have a paper every week, but he is very clear on what's expected . if you stay on top of your work you will get an A. you can get extra credit every paper assigned if you go to tutoring first. Tests are open book.

Professor Nusspickel has been a great instructor for Composition I. As long as you show up to class, do your work that's assigned ON TIME, and understand the concepts you're being taught, you'll pass this class with ease.

I took the LIT 2110 class during Spring semester. Mr. Nusspickel is clear when going over assignments, he goes over the criteria atleast two other times. He tells you exactly what is expected. Also, after grading the papers he give clear feedback. He was pushed me to become a stronger writer by thinking outside of the box.

For being my first college course it was great. He is very clear about what he expects from you in class, and makes sure that everyone understands all the assignments. Do your work and you will do fine in his class.

I can honestly say that this was my favorite professor. He works with students and is willing to go out of his way to make you pass. You do have to show up to his class though but he made Comp 1 & 2 super easy. He's super nice & tried to make jokes to keep the students interested.

Professor Nusspickel is very fair. If you do the work and show up to class you will be fine. The essays can be challenging but if you follow the rubric you will be fine. He especially worked with me when I got a new job and had schedule conflicts he made accommodations when he didn't have to. Overall he is a great professor.

Be prepared to write A LOT. However, if you at least put some thought into your writing, and actually try, you'll be fine. Definitely not a blow off class. But he is very easy to work with about late papers or not having a printed copy of your work to turn in, as long as you don't abuse it. Overall, he is a pretty good professor.

At first the class was moved fast! He was not available in the tutoring lab for help but after the class asked for help he made himself free. He gives extra credit if you get your papers reviewed in the learning center. Plan your class schedule wisely! You will spend a lot of time on papers!! One thing I really liked is that he learned our names.

GREAT professor! As long as you show up and do the work you'll pass easily. If you have questions, ask. Already registered for another class that he offers. Class was scheduled from 5-8, we never stayed later than 7:15. I had at least a 90% all the way through, he rounded up to a 100% at the end of the semester and didn't make me the final.

Pretty solid teacher. Thought class would be difficult, but just a LOT of reading...A LOT, however, for really long readings just google "summary of such-and-such". Easy A. DO NOT BE LATE TO CLASS. Your grade depends on it. Had to beg to keep my A. You'll drop letter grades. Has a point system he'll explain. Overall, solid choice. No complaints.

The class revolves around three essays, which are pretty much written in class over the course of a few weeks. There's a presentation as the final of one essay of your choice. There are a couple of quizzes a week (short grammar quizzes) that really do not make sense. Besides that, it was a pretty easy class. Just don't miss any days.

Prof. Nusspickle is a great teacher. As long as you pay attention and did the assignments and actually went to class. Cake. Very down to earth. Will work with you if a situation comes up. He is a prior Vet and understands the situations some may face. Will learn everyone names. Taking currrently for Comp 2

Professor Nusspickel is a great teacher! The guy teaches at 3 schools all while working on his PHD, and taking care of his family, but he still does a great job. He makes the discussions on readings interesting, and is always willing to read your papers and give feedback before you turn them in. Would definitely recommend him.

Professor Nusspickel did an extremely good job especially having to adjust all classes to online due to Covid 19. Understandbly it did take about a week to get major essay grades back. But I get it, I know I am not his only student nor in his only class unlike others who seem to think they are. Also, he let us revise our lowest essay at the end.

By far he is my favorite professor I have taken. I took Nusspickel for Comp 1 and Comp 2. He is clear on what you need to do to pass his class. Show up and do the work and you will pass his class. He offers office hours to help if you need it. Take advantage on the extra credit by taking your papers to tutors first. He made this class fun.

Professor N was great. He gives great feedback and extra credit. Be sure to follow essay directions and ask questions if unclear. People give him a hard time on here about not taking late work which is incorrect. Late essays are knocked 10 points per day and can be turned in until Friday morning. Maybe these people should do the work on time.

I was nervous taking this class online. I also tend to procrastinate. Professor Nusspickel was more than fair in his expectations and due dates. Essays are assignmed weeks in advance. The remix project was too. If you don't turn an assignment in on time then don't complain if you lose points. He gives great feedback and truly cares about us.

Pretty easy course. Doesn't open assignments early but reviews his expectations clearly and even gives answers to quizzes during class. Papers aren't hard. Helps by giving examples, really helps with citations and works cited. I would take him again!

I've taken Mark Nusspickel's class for two semesters, he is so kind and personable. He is strict with his deadlines but explains his expectations clearly. He offers extra credit on every single essay except the final one. There is a reasonable amount of homework. I would take his class all four years of pursuing my bachelor's if I could.

Overall excellent experience taking Professor Nusspickel's Comp. II class. He is helpful, and makes his lectures enjoyable. I highly recommend him for your Composition classes, he is a great professor.

Took him for Comp II online and he was great. Very clear in his instructions and genuinely cares about the success of his students. There was a good variety of quizzes, discussion posts, and essays. All major essays have extra credit. He does not record the zoom meetings so try not to miss class as the content is important.

He's GREAT. ACCEPTS the major essays late with points off which saved my grade. Some complain and try to turn things in late but syllabus is very clear on this. Hey we're on COLLEGE now not HIGH SCHOOL. I respect this and feel he is fair bc other's who complain here obviously did not read the syllabus.

I cringed when I saw we were doing a research paper but it was on our future career goals which made it interesting for myself and others. I would recommend his class one thousand times over!!

After taking ENC 1102 twice before with other professors I was scared to fail. However, Professor Nusspickel was very encouraging and always available to all students. He wants you to succeed.

Not an easy professor, holds you to a high standard, and is a tough grader. With that being said he is very kind and really wants you to succeed. So if you work hard, ask for help when you need it, listen to his corrections, and follow his instructions you will be okay. And if I remember correctly, he assigns a paper every 1-2 weeks so be prepared.

This was for the NFS 1000 class for those needing development classes He cares so much and went above and beyond for us. Began each class with a debrief from the week's classes. Not too much work and you learn a ton and make great connections.

I have taken Prof N for NFS 1000 through ENC 1102. I am sad that this is my last class with him. He truly cares about you and your growth as a student and person. I started as a shy not prepared freshman. I leave as a well prepared and confident sophomore. Thank you for being great.

Prof N is great. I wish I was able to see how much he truly cares and wants you to succeed at the start but I was STILL stuck in my ways. He has been my best professor. He is supportive, caring and really wants you to succeed. Feedback is quickly provided and he has a lot of office hours.

Comp 2 was so enjoyable, I did live online and the class culture he created through zoom was amazing. He cares about his students and takes time to make sure everyone is on the same page. There is a good mix of all types of assignments and he has the option for extra credit on all essays if you work with a tutor before turning in.

I toke this class fully online & was mostly reading short poems & short stories. He provides a lot of feedback & was very nice. There's a discussion and quiz for each module very straight forward. There was 4 essays & all essays were given a 3-4 weeks to turn in. The Midterm & Final were both essays & both were given about 3-4 weeks to complete.

All around great professor. SPC is lucky to have him. Definitely will recommend.

I like the fact that he provided sample essays and would take time to review drafts. He also is quick to respond to emails. Provided several office hours weekly and if I could not make it he would hold them via zoom. Take his class, you WILL NOT be disappointed.

I love Prof Nusspickel with all my heart. He was hilarious and truly cared for every single one of his students. Gave clear grading criteria for every assignment. LOTS of writing, but it is to be expected of a literature course. Slightly slow with grading but always gives good feedback on what could've been done better. Will miss this class.

One of the best professors I've had. If you have the chance, take him. He is extremely caring and makes class pretty fun and easy going. Would let us leave 15 min early every class. He provides multiple assignments so you can get ready with your essays. This is good in the long-run but quite exhausting having to do so much homework every week.

Overall he is a very easy grader just make sure you follow formatting and structure. I would also recommend taking this class in real life because we were let out early every class... there are also less discussions and work if you take in person.
