Professor Olmos is one of the most genuine people you will meet! It is so obvious how much he loves the Lord through how much he cares for his students and how passionate he is about the material. Never did I feel like he was trying to shove the Christian worldview down our throats or anything though. Quizzes and assignments are super easy.

His lectures are awesome, he prints the notes for you, he ALWAYS dismisses class 30-60 minutes early, VERY easy work, and he really cares about each and every student. Loved Professor Olmos. He explains things clearly in a way you'll understand and uses examples from his own life to help you understand. He also does a kahoot right before every test which helps tremendously. Also, instead of doing a few of the papers, he'll do in class assignments with a short response instead of an essay. Professor Olmos is the greatest professor a student could ever ask for! He makes note packets for every student and for every lecture. As long as you follow along with the notes and lectures on a weekly basis you should be able to get nearly 100% in the class. This professor is very open to every worldview whether it's Christian or not. Great guy!

TAKE HIS CLASS. His lectures are funny and easy to listen to. Most of the course work is done in class meaning there is barely any homework. He allows the entire class to get a 100% on each quiz if the class does well on the review Kahoot before hand. The class is so easy to do well in. He wants you to do well in class and in life.

He gives you what's called a "grace card" which gives you a pass to turn in one assignment without a late penalty. When I handed mine in he asked me if I was okay. Such a kind-hearted and caring professor! He was very gracious towards assignments and even offered a "ticket" to use as homework pass or receive extra points on the final. Before any quizzes, he would have Kahoots in class as a review and those who placed 1st or top 3 or if the class reached a goal together, you would receive an automatic A on it.

His lectures never came across as exclusionary, and while he was missional, he made sure to allow students the space to have different beliefs. This class was the easiest college course I have taken, it was a bit easier because I am a Christian but it was a very easy class. This professor was great i think that he truly cares about all of his students and wants everyone to succeed. Quiz reviews were on kahoot and were exactly the same as the quiz and if you take notes you'll get an A.

Dr Olmos is a great and kind teacher, however I feel very strongly that the CWV class is actually a hidden film appreciation class.

Prof Olmos is literally the goat. I was afraid to take CWV since I'm not Christian, but Olmos makes sure the environment is safe and enjoyable for everyone. As long as you show up and do your assignments, you are pretty much guaranteed the A. His IAs do sometimes grade a tad harshly tho... but Olmos is amazing... TAKE HIMMMMMMMMMMM!!! I BEG!!!!!!!!

He is by far one of the best professors I've had at GCU. He is so incredibly kind and cares very deeply for students. He doesn't have hard due dates, which makes it so nice when I'm busy and don't have time to turn an assignment in on time. I learned so much in his class, and I would recommend him to any student!

Such a sweet and Jesus-loving professor. Cares about your learning over grades and has interesting and easy to understand lectures. Class always out early and left feeling like I learned.

One of the best professors I will ever have and one of the most genuine guys ever. Super understanding and accommodating. Class will be easy as long as you show up and participate, and but in a bit of effort. 100% would take this guy again.

Cannot recommend Dr. Olmos more! You can truly see his love of God in his teaching. Loved his lectures and hearing his personal stories and experiences. He genuinely cares for all students and is always there for them, even after they are no longer in his class. I wish everyone could have him as a teacher!

If you are reading this, it is your sign to take Professor Olmos!! He is the kindest professor I have ever had, and it is so evident that he genuinely loves his jobs and his students. This man raves about Jesus and not to mention he makes this course SO easy. He allows you to skip quizzes if your class does well on the Kahoot, and I LOVED him.

Professor Olmos is the best, he's very kind, genuine, and knowledgeable! His class is super easy as long as you do your work. His lectures have fill in the blank notes that make it easy to follow along, and open note quizzes! Also loved his stories added good entertainment to the class! Definitely recommend having him as your professor!
