Lets just say that I didn't go to lecture that much. Mark is pretty much a jerk that thinks he's pullin one over on his students. He gave me a 3/30 on an extra credit assignmnet, and then proceeded to tell me that it was an "excellent paper" His lectures are pretty boring too, he posts everything on the P drive for class.

Take this class if you can! It is extremely easy as long as you study. He gives out study guides before the test. If you study using the study guide and know the vocabulary words you are good to go. His extra credit opportunities also help out a lot. Anyone who says this class is hard didn't take the time to look over the material given to them.

Friendly but I’ll never take again. Study guides didn’t reflect exam. At times was demeaning to the males. Yes he was helpful & clear, but not as easy as the RMP score suggests. Gave 3 pop-quiz for bonus, read chapter before class. Attendance bonus (5pts max) at end of sem. each exam had a few bonus questions. Didn’t care for him but you may.

One of the best professors I've had, would highly suggest taking his courses. Many say he's cruel for taking the sign in sheet away 1 minute after the start time but if you're early theres no problem. He's a very funny and caring person. There are 10 quizzes in this course and a final exam based on the novel Fahrenheit 451.

If you are required to take a psychology, Palumbo is definitely the way to go. He lectures are fast paced sometimes but he is very straightforward. The metaphors and examples he uses to help you actually understand the content is brilliant and some of it can even help you in life. If you show up and care you will not only pass but enjoy it.

Dr. Palumbo is a very caring professor who is very enthusiastic about IO psych. His class is hard. You have to read the textbook in-depth for the hw and tests. Reaching his level of professional writing in 2 pages is nearly impossible. You will get points off. His tests are very hard, so study a lot. He does give extra credit on his tests though.

Dr. Palumbo is someone you either love or hate. He is not very understanding and likes things his way, no other options. He has multiple mini quizzes so its ok if you bomb one. Says he exempts kids from final but only if u get over 100 on every exam. I never got lower than a 89 and I still had to take the final. Final is about novel with mix of ch.

His final wasn't easy though considering it was about a book he never told us to read, nor did we discuss it once. Its basically a free for all which wasn't fun.

he is an okay professor, could make a drinking game out of how many times he tells the class "I'm on your side". will take off a lot of points for formatting errors and won't change his mind. will call on you often, every single class. expects you to remember a lot and know everything. kind of wants you to be a suck up and has way too much energy.

I took him online, and he is the most average prof ever. Each quiz had 30 questions, but were out of 25, so 5 bonus. The final was out of 20, with 3 bonus points possible. Reading the book and doing the online practice will help you learn it, but just looking up the answers works. The final is hard, but if you do well all year it shouldn't matter.

If you were ever wondering if it's possible to score a near perfect grade on each take-home (open book) exam, spend several hours on a final presentation, craft well-thought out papers, take them to the writing center where they find no flaws and still receive failing grade in a class. Try taking Mark Palumbo's course.
