GO TO FLEX LABS! They almost do your project for you! If you don't get an A in this class then something is wrong with you. If you do your work you get an A. Dr. Patton is a horrible professor. He treats his students like they are in 5th grade and calls out anyone who is wearing headphones or even talking during class... not to mention there are 600 people in each class. He goes through the material way too fast and it is impossible to retain the information he "teaches"

He was okay. Didn't love him but also was not opposed to him. I prefer Dr. Nuemann over him personally, but he is super nice if you ever need to ask him a question during or outside of class. Pretty good lecturer too. The class alone is hard, but thankfully he doesn't make it worse.

For the most part I think Dr. Patton is a decent professor. He does kinda act like he is better than you, which I don't agree with, but again my opinion. He is super cool and his class is always fun. He is not boring and the workload isn't hours and hours of work. He is helpful when it comes to ABP and case analysis questions. He is overall cool

Mark is super cool and funny. This class is huge and there is virtually no personal connection with any of the "instructional team". But, Matt's lectures are very fun to watch. Loved seeing his dogs and zoom backgrounds.

Mis 111, aw what can i say? The grading curve was rigged. 2nd comment: i got a new truck that year with a lego engine. Took this class 5 times every 10 years. Try to build power! Lastlety: a bat came out of a pool ounce and asked if i was his father. I responded, 'i do not like the sun.' The teacher of mis 111 was a strong grader.

This is a very easy class if you just do the work. There are about 6 quizzes per week but answers are usually on quizlet (5 questions each, no time limit, 2 attempts). There are 6 projects, which are time-consuming but pretty straightforward. Attendance wasn't mandatory (lectures posted on D2L). There were 3 exams, with 50 questions in 50 minutes.

MIS111 is a very easy class if you put in a little effort. Almost all of the answers to the quizzes are on Quizlet. There is usually some reading, a topic overview lecture, and a 5 question quiz before class, and then another 5 question quiz after the in-person lecture. No need to show up to class and Dr. Patton was a good teacher.

Dr. Patton is a good professor; he can be funny at times too. MIS111 is boring and the homework is tedious, though very easy. Put in a little bit of effort and you'll pass with an A. Google will be your best friend. I wouldn't worry about this class being difficult.

MIS 111 is a tedious class that covers a wide range of seemingly unrelated topics. Dr. Patton could be a little grouchy at times, but overall pleasant. All homework and quizzes are all open note and open web. The three projects are time-consuming, but the grading criteria are clear. Overall, an easy, VERY tedious class.

Where do I start with this "Dr" Patton. I hope he sees this. He is, single-handedly, a terrible professor. He is incredibly rude and doesn't answer questions as if he cares about students, but as if he's right all the time. It would be a JOY to never talk to this teacher again because he is incompetent and only cares about his ego.

This class is super obnoxious and outdated, but Dr. Patton tries to make it somewhat bearable. Can be monotone, but he's fairly easy to work with. Overall, it's easy enough to pass (google's your friend), though the big projects don't seem to relate and aren't really taught in class. Class itself is useless, but profs are nice enough.

Slightly prefer Patton to Nuemann. He injects a bit more personality into the otherwise dry lectures and was always nice when addressing issues during office hours. MIS 111 can feel like a very pointless class at times because of all the different topics covered but it's ridiculously simple and easy from quizzes to tests to projects. Easy A.

Here's what you need to know about the class: the answers for KCs and PARs can be found on Google, the presentation, or the textbook. The projects can be difficult if you have a Mac cause many of them require Excel, and the one that's offered by the school is mediocre (vcat). You can watch the lectures live online cause they don't take attendance.

He's the best you're going to get for MIS 111, so be thankful on the days he gives lectures. You can tell he has a good sense of humor, and tries to bring the boring, outdated slides to life. Attendance is completely optional, and not really needed to do well. Business projects are lengthy, but easy as long as you follow the instructions.

Great person and teacher overall. This class is by no means hard to pass weather or not you go to class. However, he is not very helpful in extenuating circumstances. I had multiple technical issues with grading and he was not of any help in office hours. You just have to fend for yourself if you have an issue.

MIS111 is ridiculously easy to pass, so it doesn't really matter who the professor is. Still, Dr. Patton's an engaging speaker and is pretty relaxed overall. He does tend to spend a while on the first half of his lectures, suddenly realize he spent too much time, then zoom through the rest of it. Still, he clearly cares about what he teaches.
