As a freshman this was by far my most FAVORITE professor! He is amazingly through and HILARIOUS! He always jokes about his plaid shirts. He makes sure that you are as prepared as possible for the tests and covers the material quickly and efficiently. I recommend this teacher with my full heart it was my favorite class!

Mr Roche is an awesome dude. I recommend rearranging your schedule to take this guys class. He explains things and answers questions clearly. Keeps things simple and doesn't assign much homework. He gives practice exams which are very similar to actual exams. Creates a very friendly atmosphere in the classroom. He's also hilarious.

Mark is awesome. If you have to take a math class and he is an option TAKE HIM. If you don't understand something, ask! He will clear any questions up for you. Fun class with him. The textbook is used for this class but it is on the internet so you don't have to buy it.

I took the 6 week online class. You only have 8 quick quizzes and 2 test for the entire class. The course is layed out nice so you know what you have to do. Each chapter has a list of helpful videos and practice quizzes, which are basically the graded quizes with different values. If you do the work this class shouldnt hard to pass

He is by far the greatest math professor available at montco, he is funny and makes class interesting. If you are having trouble in class he will sit down with you one on one and help you with the material. He is a hell of a nice guy and is absolutely worthy of respect as a teacher and a person.

Mr. Roche was one of my favorite professors. He grades fairly and teaches the material nicely. He doesn't make attendance mandatory, so don't complain if you never come to class then don't understand the material. The final and midterm are a bit difficult, and tests are really the only thing that's graded. Mr. Roche is a good guy, take his class.

Roche is great. Had him for two semesters. Attendance isnt mandatory (although you probably should show up sometimes), and he just puts in tests and quizzes as graded (so sometimes if you bomb a test itll go down), but overall hes a super caring, nice guy who just wants his students to succeed. His classes fill up super early, but take him.

Roche was a great professor and yes it is pronounced like Roach. He was great but not for everyone. If you just need to learn some math and pass a class but if you need to understand the math you won't really get that here. Only then that he's pretty great. Also, he loves Marvel so if you do too take this class because its fun.

Awesome 15-week online class. Class has 4 modules. Weekly readings, videos, and ungraded homework. At the end of each module, complete 50 graded homework questions and 20 quiz questions, all of which previously appear in the homework questions. Study guides reflect exactly whats on the mid-term and final. Looks for ways to give you partial credit.

Roche is a good guy. His way of teaching is pretty simple and he's always available to help. His classes are quite simplified, and there is little homework usually. The only issue is that he only grades tests and quizzes, so if you screw up on one, your grade sorta plummets. Still a good prof. Take him if he's available, often his classes fill up.

I have to admit, I took his accelerated online algebra class and was struggling majorly. Professor Roche responded to my emails when I let him know that I had difficulty grasping the material and even took the time to walk me through a problem step by step. Professor Roche has to be one of the BEST math professors at mc3 college. Math is and has not usually been my forte & Roche made math understandable. I even was starting my first full time job at the time of the final & he wads very flexible. He even helped me with a math problem step by step. If you have to take math, TAKE HIM!

Very few things graded, just tests and homework- which he is very flexible about. He allows you to have a note card during tests too. 100% recommend anyone to take his class.

This professor was helpful when approached, but the recordings/textbook were at times hard to follow and frustrating. He did answer questions when I went to him. It felt like some concepts were skipped in the lectures that made it hard to build the foundation.The workload was great and gave you plenty of time to get it completed.

As a student returning after 10 years out of academia, I count myself fortunate to have taken one of my first courses with Professor Roche. There wasn't a ton of interaction, as this was an online class with pre-recorded lectures, but when I did reach out to him he was nothing short of incredible. Very attentive and quick to respond when need him.

This class is very easy to be a four credit class. I recommend you doing everything on time and making sure you understand the material. He uses My Open Math for homework and tests.

Easily the best professor on the entire main campus. He's clear & concise with his explanations on topics and never gives busy work---everything he makes you do will help you succeed in the class. At person recommended me this math professor. He knows what his teaching, but the assignments can be difficult. He's very organized in his notes, he professor is also very funny. He reminds me of my math teacher I had for 9th and half of 10th, but without the disciplinarian. I would recommend him for math.

Prof Roche was super helpful and sent out deadlines through email. If you need to get a math credit out of the way, try to take his online class. You get all of the work at the beginning of the semester and it's like 8 assignments 4 tests, 4 graded problem sets, just make sure you don't fall behind its super hard to catch up.

This was my second time taking Prof. Roche, and if I could take him a million more times, I would. I'm not good at math at all, and frankly, I dropped out of statistics in HS, but he makes it so easy to understand. His YouTube channel is extremely helpful, and the way he sets up assignments online makes my life so much easier. Overall, he's great!

I did enjoy Prof. Roche class he made it so much fun two test were take home a bit hard but we were allowed to use are notes and does help us with problems funny guy, caring as well. His teaching style was perfect for me to understanding all of his lectures and also for his review sheets as well 30% were problem sets 60% exam 10% final easy class.

Great professor, made class fun and enjoyable. Let's us use notes on exams which make it much easier. Answers emails fast and if you ask questions in class he's there to help. Make sure when you need help, do your part and communicate with him. However, his class needs a better notes setup, the notes packet he gave out was a bit confusing.

Literally the goat lectures are good exams are similar to review and doesn't gave out much homework literally an awesome professor.

This is the second time I took Roche took him for MAT161, and now MAT190 he has been the best professor I ever had! funny guy with good sense of humor. Lectures are helpful he makes everything look easy homework you only have the problem set. Reviews are similar to test overall he's great I recommend him for any math course I wish he did MAT201.

Really fun class, he goes on a lot of funny tangents while still making sure all the necessary material is covered. He's very understanding and will always answer questions without any gripes. His reviews are very similar to the tests so if you do the reviews and understand them you will have no problems on the tests.

Even with taking his accelerated course, I learned a lot. He responds very fast to emails and usually gives good feedback on quizzes when your work is shown. He is great.
