I can beleive how easy this class. Trust me when I say that I am not the kind of person to speak in front of a class. Mr. Staller trully cares he is there for help at any time you need him. Test are easy basicly of notes in class. Final consists of all test put together. He has a great attitute.

He is a very helpful teacher and will always clarify things if you ask. He has a slight speech impediment when he says anything with 'CH' and i thought that was ironic but he is a great guy and anyone who shows up and does the easy work will pass.

Dr. Staller is a super easy teacher. There wasn't too much homework, and when there was, it was a study guide with answers you get straight out of the text. He's helpful, understanding, and an all-around nice guy. I took him for Small Group Comm and it was a breeze. I plan on taking him again for Interpersonal. I like him better than A. Todd.

Extremely easy class! doesn't like if you are absent a lot, but you can just attend an extra class/go to his office hours and make it up so easy. HW- like fill in the blank, he doesn't even read it. No tests! But don't be late when work is due! He won't give credit for your journals assignments if he's already checked off everyone else!

Mark S is pretty much the coolest teacher ever!! I had him over the summer and we had a lot of speeches and outlines to make but it was worth it. Except for being in a bad small group but u cant do anything about that problem. Anyways i recommend anyone who wants to take a fun class go with him hes awesome!!!!!

I took him for summer. I really hated public speaking. But he was really supportive.Take home quizzes. LOTS of outlines for speeches.Class is about "Small group" speeches. We had to do like 3 speeches on our own. Overall, It was a easy class. If you dont get an A something is wrong with you.

Best teacher yet at BC he's fun and intergetic and he explains everything well. Im not too good at attending classes cause i get lazy sometimes but he doesn't even care you can miss as much a s possible and you get like a month to make them up! I took him for small group communication you don't work in groups but he grades super EASY...... Take Him

He is extremely easy. HW is a reading guide that has the page numbers for you, a take-home quiz, and a journal assignment. 4 other easy assignments that you can do in a small group. He puts you in small groups at the beginning of the class. You don't learn much in this class, though. Activities are fun, somewhat informative.

Mr. Stalled is an extremely nice guy! The class won't be hard at just make sure you fill out the worksheets and show up! I didn't think the class was going to be fun but then as the semester went on I wished the class would last longer! He encourages you to be open about associating with other culturals you are not familiar with. Very beneficial!(:

Dr. Staller is an excellent professor. He very helpful when it comes to giving homework advice and he will proof reading any speeches you have before presentation day. Be prepared to do a lot of reading and research for the book report he gives before the end of the semester. He class is worth taking,very enjoyable.

Excellent class. I took this during summer and it actually made me want to get up in the morning. He makes you feel good about doing the work and being in groups is a blast. He grades rather easily and his tests are pretty easy as long as you study a bit. Show up to every class or you will have a hard time. Nice guy.

Show up, do the work, pass. There are 2 big midterm tests, but if you study, you will pass. 2 speeches & one is a group report on a country. You do get homework every day; it's easy, but time consuming. He's very insightful and has changed my way of thinking.

Professor Staller was awesome! Every class period was very interesting. You get assigned to a random group that basically becomes your circle for the whole semester. A few projects here and there, some reading and workbook work , 2 easy mid-terms, 1 final essay. There is ansolutley NO reason to NOT get an A in this class!!!

Very cool and easy professor. Easy midterms, it all comes from the workbook. Homework has to be done on a daily basis, but its very easy. The projects are interesting and he lets you turn in late work. Highly recommend his class!

Professor Staller was great. His class was very easy going as long as you showed up and participated. It is important to have your work done before going to his class. He is a great Professor who is laid back and teaches you about intercultural communications clearly.

This class was very enjoyable. The content was interesting and I learned a lot. You do have to buy the textbook and the workbook and it cost 108 dollars. You do need it to pass the class. Professor Staller is a very fair grader. If you do the work and come to class you will get an A.

I took the 4 week accelerated course , during the early start program. This is why I put a number 4, which means you have to work for your grade. But Mr. Staller is such a fair person, if he sees you are really trying he will definitely work with you. He is an Awesome professor! ! He creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere to work in. Great prof.

Makes nervous students feel relaxed and is very fair when it comes to grading. Attendance is important, do the work and you will pass!

This class is NOT easy!! I learned so much but I dropped other classes to keep up in this one. Professor Staller is very nice, taught me so much , and expects alot of his students. He is a very fair grader and makes this class fun and interesting. I would highly recommended him. He's a brilliant man and I value everything he taught me.

Great professor! I would definitely take this class again if I needed another communication class. He's really nice and the class is actually pretty fun because you become friends with the people in your small groups. He's an easy grader and he makes sure that the class is easy to pass, you just need to show up and do your work.

Mark Staller is the single best teacher I've ever had. Though he has homework due ever class day, he makes it easy for you to do it and to learn. Homework and attendance are mandatory if you want to pass the class. However, if you are late on homework he will let you get it to him by next class and still get credit. Joyful and fun, he is the best.

Easy A. Read the chapter, do the workbook, and give your speeches. Staller has the class set up where you will pass just by showing up and doing everything assigned. You get the A by doing everything and doing well on the speeches and the final. Final questions are given ahead of time. Speeches aren't bad/hard if you know the material.

Mr. Staller is always in a good mood. He makes class fun. The workload isnt too bad. Everything is straight from the book including speeches. Speeches are easy if you follow the set structure. This class is hard to fail. Show up do your work and youll pass.

This is a good alternative to the regular speech class. You will still give several presentations, but Dr Staller will see you through. You will be teamed with 5 other students in a group. Half of my group did not complete the class. Dr Staller lectures very little, the groups present the chapters. Follow the syllabus closely!

Professor Staller is great! He lets you makeup absences by going to his office hours. Hw is due every class but its all in the book. Very easy! and he does allow late work! Midterms are on the hw you do! answers are all in book as well. hes not a hard grader at all. We didnt have a final either. You cant fail!

Dr Staller is a very good professor. Follow the syllabus closely and make sure you stay ahead of the due dates. The speech outlines take time to write and I recommend visiting the professor during his office hours or just before class. Get a supplemental group leader if you can, the SI program is perfect for this course.

Oh boy, where do I start? Amazing person/teacher, however this was one of the most unusual classes I've ever taken. Class tends to be awkward when there's little participation. So much homework! 7-8 pages of workbook material due every class, on top of numerous (although easy) papers. Be prepared to dedicate serious time to this class.

a true gem! I loved him he was such a sweet old man. many students sadly took advantage of his easy grading. Very positive and happy person who truly loved his teaching subjects. Cares about students and respects their cultures

Best teacher I have ever had! I was scared to take this class because I have anxiety but he makes it so easy to speak up and get involved. So sad some people dropped because they all got afraid to do the first speech but all his work is so easy!! It is a lot but if you stay on top of it you will be fine. His office hours are very helpful!!

I loved this professor! if you are nervous of joining a communication class, I totally recommend taking Mr. Staller! he's very caring, if you ever need help make sure you ask!! or join his after school hours! I appreciate all of the advice he gave him. will most definitely take him again.

Near the beginning of the class there was a lot of homework, but it is all useful for later assignments. I would recommend taking him, but be warned there is a lot of homework, and definitely pay attention to due dates for homework and speeches.

Professor Staller is great! He's a pretty easy grader. There's a lot of homework, but it's very manageable!

If you hate public speaking, this is the man for you.

He is a great professor, gives excellent feedback, and cares for his students. The only thing is that he does not use canvas; his way of communication is by email. This course requires a coursebook, and there is lots of homework. Overall, he is a great professor.
