If you have to take polisci, this is the guy to take it from!
This guy... he's a good guy. Clear, to the point, good lecturer, very helpful. Bad jokes though.

tons of extra credit opportunities. don't miss out on them. they saved my grade. make sure you do the study guides for all the tests and you should be ok. overall not an extremely difficult class but i did have to study for my a.
His classes are pretty easy. Before the quizzes he'll give you the answers to like 1/3 of them. He's really organized, puts the notes up on blackboard so you have less to write, and he tells you pretty much what's going to be on the test.
THIS IS MY FIRST SEMESTER WITH HIM BUT I THINK IT WILL BE MY LAST.. HE HAS A LOT OF READING AND THE ARTICLE REVIEWS ON A BOOK THAT I CAN'T EVEN GET IS NOT EASY... I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND HIM

Good teacher he gives you everything you need for the tests just study them, do all the extra credit it gave me an A instead of a B. I would take him again for another class. Favorite thing was, he never took a political side to either party during class!!
knows what hes talking about, has alot of info on subjects, funny
I can say I like the guy, but his class can be frustrating because the tests are like 75% lecture base. If you're absent a lot, BEWARE. I read all the required chapters but failed to come to class, and I only got a D on a quiz. If you show up to class and take notes, you should be fine.
geez...I really do not recommend this teacher. He tries to be funny sometimes but his teaching is power point based and boring. Lots of notes and a lot to read. The quizzes are nonsense because no matter how hard you study for it you gotta fail it anyways!!
Really good teacher. A little dry and serious at times, but pretty funny most of the time. Very fair and balanced. Doesn't take a political position in class, and doesn't censor you or grade you on your own political beliefs. Tests really aren't that hard; just study a bit! Extra credit is well worth the effort. Would take again.
Very good teacher. Just do what he does and you should pass his class, no problem, and with a good grade. I got an easy A by doing what he told us.
I did not find him to be very helpful with questions/homework at all! Class is very boring, it is pretty much all lecture. The guy tries to be funny. I do not reccomend this class. Tests and quizzes are very difficult and are hard to prepare for.
This was one of the hardest classes I've ever taken. He doesn't assign work, but his tests and quizes are rediculously hard. I had to work my ass off just to get a C. Though he offers extra credit, you have to know how to read between the lines for his test questions because he words things very tricky. I will admit he's better than prof joseph.
This teacher cant teach class without his power point. Class is boring and he is hard to reach with questions. His grading is fair however his quizzes are hell...most students fail on those
didn't know squat about our government, was scared to death first day of class. Studied moderatly, did the reading, did all extra credit, took notes. Miss A by 5 points. I'd take him agian. Not bad to look at.
Excellent teacher for the subject. If you expect a watered down education look else where because you'll get the works with this man. Uses powerpoint alot to help illustrate some difficult topics to understand. Great professor if you want to learn.
I DIDNT REALLY LIKE HIM
Mr. Trezza was a good teacher. He made the class interesting. I only studied an hour before tests and got a 98% in the class. His lectures are good, w/ powerpoint, he gives good examples to help to remember material. I learned a lot about polisci and started out with no understanding at all. Thought it was gonna be my worst class but was the best.
He's a wonderful teacher. I learned a lot. If you don't know much about Political Science, this professor's for you! :)
If you took government in high school, this class will be cake. He likes to take test questions from lectures, but as mentioned, if you took government in high school, you already know this stuff. Cheers.
Although Trezza lectures well and makes everything clear, do not take if you are a slow note-taker. He assumes that every student is able to use every resource he DEPENDS on to teach his class. Pop quizzes, if not enough students show up to his liking. When I tried to drop the class, he failed to email me or call me back. Very unprofessional.
Lecture is everything. Attendance is next. Tests are hard if you don't study. Grades are almost all tests and quizzes. There is now a tutor specifically for his class. If you have taken government before this class won't be as hard but you still need to take notes.
This guy is the most unorganized online instructor I have ever had, he uses past semesters grading set up and announcements doesn't even change the dates. Very confusing. Would not recommended to my enemies (if I had any)Quizes were timed & conscrewed in a way of maddness. No matter how much I studied the quizzes were Ridiculously hard.
good teacher very helpful!!! I had visited him during office hours he made me have better understanding or subject, there are 2 article review pretty easy. as long as you show and read u will be good n the class
Good professor! But you have to go to class, if not enough students show up he will give a pop quiz.. but if your there its easy because he pretty much gives you the answers. Read the book and make flash cards!! He also offers extra credit on tests if you go see the tutor. I really did enjoy this class :)
Even though poli-sci wasn't my thing, I still managed to get a B in the class. Lectures, in my opinion, were really boring but that's because I had no interest in the class. Very important to take notes, as a lot of the material covered is on the test. Reading the book! and attending the tutorial center gets you extra credit! Great instructor!
Awesome teacher! Makes the class fun; knowledgeable; willing to help; grading is fair; not too hard to look at either....
Decent professor. Sometimes confusing and but helpful
Took him online. Got to stay on top of it, but was interesting. Need to study for the tests.. we had 4 on campus meetings for them. It was fun and interesting.
instructor utilizes powerpoint presentation, as well as the book. he does provide study guides for you to print and fill in during lectures. use the study guides, so you dont waste your time WRITING. he gives pop quizzes when there is low attendance. utilize ETC, he gives extra credit for attending, but also, its a good review. Excellent teacher!
Very good teacher; you're learn alot. It seem hard at the beginning of the semester, but the teacher's great. However, you need to study & attend his ETC session if you want to pass the class.
His quizzes and tests can be tricky as hell, but the way to get a good grade in his class is to attend every class meeting, follow his study guides/ notes well, attend the tutor for extra credit, and actually care about doing well in the class. By doing these I was able to get an A. He is also a pretty funny guy too at times!
Lots of quizzes and boring lectures.
Awesome teacher! Funny; adds humor but teaches you the subject. Reasonable enough tests to learn.
he makes the class fun and does not bore you to death like other teachers. He tells you when the tests will be and also gives study guides which are always helpful. You can also to Tutorial called ETC and he will add etra points to your test score. Overall GREAT TEACHER.
The way he lectures can get confusing if you don't pay close enough attention. Although he gives study guides, he's vague on what he expects from you in your written answers. He likes to psyche out his students by making everything sound much more difficult than it is, but he does offer opportunities to earn extra credit.
His lectures are very vague and hard to understand. He's one of those instructors that lectures like you should already know the material. His lectures are extremely nonbiased. He is very experienced in gov't. He's not the friendliest, not the most helpful- but Heather (his tutor) makes up for all that. Go to ETC! Take Eng1A before you take.
I totally agree with the previous comment about how he is not the friendlist of guys, but go to ETC (tutorial center) and meet Heather (the class aid) and she totally makes for this. Come to class as much as possible, read the assigned chapters, and go to ETC and an A shouldnt be hard to get. Good luck~
Some of the lecture material can get confusing, even when paying attention. The study guides help though. The answering the written essay questions are the toughest. Overall a good instructor.
I had him for FAll 2011. He is a true/classic college professor: he lectures and you MUST read the textbook and take notes or you will NOT get a good grade. I guarantee the people complaining hardly opened (if at all) their book and actually STUDIED. Trezza knows his stuff. I highly recommend if you want a good grasp of American political science.
Kind of old-school in the sense that you need to read the textbook, because the lectures are NOT based on it for the most part! Lots of quizzes, 2 exams+finals, but not super hard. You DO need good English/writing skills with his class, the 125/126 advisory may not be enough. Gives a good insight to today's politics.
I took this teacher last semester and he is very hard he goes through his lectures really fast! And he is so Vague with his lectures! I studied and went to tutoring the first months and it was a lot of help but it shouldn't consist of going to tutorial after every class session! This teacher goes fast and is not helpful! His tests are extremely hard
Mr. Trezza is one of the best instructors i've ever had! He is such a good teacher. He knows what he's talking about and you definitely need to read the book to pass the class. Duh! It only makes sense. Read the book, take notes, come to class and definitely go to him when you're confused. An A is not that hard to get=)
Great teacher! Uses the textbook a lot, and overall his class is easy if you show up to classes and actually pay attention. The 125/126 reading/writing advisory is low (he mentions it, too) - if you don't write/spell at 1A level, wait on the class until you do. 5 spelling errors in your paper, and it's rejected!
If you're looking for an easy A this is not the teacher you want.Hardest I ever worked to get an A in a class. His lectures are boring most of the time.I learned more in ETC.The best advice I can give is go to ETC, the tutor makes the material understandable.READ the book, I had to highlight & write all over my book to really digest it all.STUDY!!
This guy is a good teacher, very organised, but as has already been said...not easy. You will need to be in class and work hard to get a good grade. His text book quizes are not easy at all.
I had him for Political Science 2. He's very nice, and funny. He'll answer any question you have. Please for the love of God read the text book and print out the sheets from blackboard. He gives you 3 weeks in advance with the Article Review so don't do it the last minute.
Not an easy class. You will have to work hard to pass his class. The book is used very frequently. The professor is highly knowledgeable in his subject. He encourage you to come to his office for help if needed. Very respectful and nice person but will not give you a good grade just because he's nice. High stress class with a lot of work.
SO MUCH READING TO DO! YOU WILL BE QUIZZED A LOT IN CLASS AND MUST KNOW THE MATERIAL AS IF THIS IS YOUR MAJOR. A LOT OF THINGS TO LEARN IN LITTLE TIME. STAY ON TOP OF YOUR READINGS AND YOU MIGHT GET A OK GRADE. STUDIED FOR THIS 3 UNIT CLASS JUST AS MUCH AS MY 5 UNIT BIO CLASS AND GOT A C. DEFINITELY GO TO ETC GET ESSAYS CHECKED AT WRITING CENTER.
NOT EASY! must read thoroughly; quizzes on blackboard from chapter content are not easy. do not miss class, print and download EVERYTHING he posts on blackboard. go to ETC. Trezza is nice and willing to help but his class is still extreey difult. he is very nowledgable. don't procrastinate on article reviews, and study for every scheduled quiz/exam
Class is not too hard. I didn't take notes, went to class late, and missed other days. However, I was able to get an A and B on both of the first exams. Reading is not necessary as he explains reading and anything that we need during class.
I took his online POLYSCI 2 class. Overall, it was easy. I spent about 3 hours a week on average (longer during test weeks to watch lectures, read, and complete quizzes. If it for online, you will have to take the tests in class. He was very prompt when I had questions via email. He is a fair grader, and I highly recommend him.
Blackboard quizzes, pop quizzes, schedules quizzes,2 article reviews, 2 exams and 1 final. Sounds like A LOT, but he is super helpful and as long as you keep up with class notes you're good. I hardly read the chapters but the book is helpful when doing BB quizzes. I recommend his class. Don't let his syllabus intimidate you! Hes great, extra credit!
Hilarious at times. Does a great job relating things to modern life, thus making it easier to understand. I took this class without ETC or any extra help, I was simply there to take notes and do a bit of studying and ended up with a B. You need the textbook, it is a combination of textbooks special for this class.
I don't think he was so clear in explaining stuff, so I attended ETC which REALLY helped me! Attend ETC b/c he also gives you points for attending! Offers extra credit a few times only which is nice. Has 3 exams including the final. The first 2 include essay questions (easy); final is all multiple choice.
Simply one of the best professors I have ever had. He's funny and respectful. He's strict but really easy to pass as long as you do your work. 3 Exams. 2 Essays. Roughly 15 quizzes. Take good notes because he does not put them on blackboard! Easy C. I had to work hard for my A!
Great professor who really knows his stuff. Make sure you show up or you will not pass, and takes notes when there and you'll do pretty well on the exams. There are quite a bit of online and pop quizzes, but they're pretty easy and really prepare you for the tests. He was recommended to me by a counselor and I'm glad I took their word, he's great.
Always available if you have questions, don't skip class because it will effect your grade, attend ETC that helps a lot, and read the chapters, I had him look over my essay questions before the tests to make sure I knew what he expected in the answers, worked hard for my A!
He's very strict about attendance, and the tests can be brutal if you don't study. He's a respectable and funny guy, though. Take advantage of ETC, and you'll get a decent grade.
Taking his class after flunking it twice wother professors, but I'm passing with an A because of the teacher. He's engaging and makes it interesting; posts online lectures and uses layman's terms, so you can understand the material. Expect weekly assigned reading and quizzes. He is straight forward, and gives study guides before each exam.
He's a great professor. He's a lot of fun and he's there to help if you're willing to ask for it. His tests are a little hard though so expect to study or fail. He does give take home essay question on the exams sometimes and you have two essays. He's fair, makes you work for your grade.
his tests are ridiculously hard. my grandmother died while taking his class he wanted proof of her passing with a death certificate or obituary in order for me to skip class. I ended up dropping and receiving and f. he isn't empathetic and is a stickler for attendance no matter the excuse.
This was the hardest class I've ever taken. It made sense, but his grading is extremely tough. When I went to see him in his office for advice on how I can make my papers get better grades, he seemed rude, almost like he didn't want to talk to me. I barely passed, but if I hadn't I would have avoided taking him again if I could.
This class is ridiculously hard, and his grading is obscene. To make it worse, he doesn't let you know what he wants, instead he just puts lines and scribbles on your papers. He's rude, and acts like you're bothering him when you go to his office hours. I hated this class so much, I took the W and am retaking it with someone else.
dont take his class he is not a good teacher, doesnt care about your grade. test are hard, his teaching is not very good
Mr. Trezza gives you everything you need to pass. His tests are hard but he provides extra credit.
great teacher, lots of work but it is not hard. just show up do the work and you'll pass.
30 pt Weekly Quizzes were extremely tough. There were way too many quizzes (14). The tests' seemed easier. Very critical on writing assignments. He 100% disagreed with one of my papers and claimed that I 'misread' the article but then was published by the Fresno Bee. HA! gives 3 opportunities for extra credit. definitely not forgiving!glad its over
Trezza is a tough professor, hence the reason he is a college instructor and not a high school teacher. He will make you work for your grade which is expected from a college course. He knows what he is talking about and he gives you all the material you need to be successful. Overall, he is a funny teacher who expects you to learn something.
Trezza's tests are difficult, to say the least. Lots of material covered per unit and he expects you to know the majority of it. On top of the textbook reading, he often assigns articles, op-eds, and more to read as well. These extra readings often show up on the tests in the form of essay questions. He offers easy extra credit opportunities.
He is not a bad professor, he makes you work hard for your grade. He gives out study guides which is a plus, go to ETC. Definetly helps. Other than that it was a hard class for a 3 unit course. He is very passionate about teaching poli sci. Lots of quizes and mindtap. be sure to keep and do good on essay, that will boost your grades up-xtcredi
He'd expect students to finish the test and then stay after until class is over. Lectures are boring and very long. There are 6 articles due and a couple of mind tap quizzes. Final is difficult and his test always include multiple choices and essays that you have to write. Not recommended!
Coming from someone who has ZERO interest in this subject, Trezza made the material easier to understand and entertaining at the same time. There's a fair amount of online "hw" (quizzes) but they aren't hard if you read the chapter it's on. There was only 2 papers, a couple in class exams, and about 3 pop quizzes. Offers extra credit often!
I actually really like his class. Before taking his class, I wasn't too interested in politics but Mr. Trezza found a way to engage all of his students. This teacher takes his job super serious and grades the written portion of the tests pretty hard. He makes you work for your grade but not to the point where getting an A is hopeless.
Took this professor this past semester and he was by far my least favorite professor. The first 2 exams were essay writing and his final exams were multiple choice. Homework's were either on blackboard or on mindtap. After exams we had lecture. If we took exam and didn't return back for lecture portion, he knocks off half points from the exam.
TBH Polisci 2 was one of the most hardest classes I had taken at Fresno City College, along with Math 5A. But this class helped me critically think in new ways and Truly learn to study, Extra Credit helps a ton! He is helpful and passing is possible, but you will need to work pretty hard for that A, study regularly and attend ETC and youll be fine
It's not too difficult to keep an A/B as long as you keep on track with your reading and attend every class. Mindtap is open book, the quizzes are so easy, the tests are the toughest since the essays account for 2/3rds of the grade but he offers tons of extra credit. His lectures are fun and engaging as he even invites guest speakers.
Mark is not going to dumb things down for you, so be prepared to listen and do extensive studying for his tests, There are 3 tests, 2 article reviews, which he grades with scrutiny. If you don't like Poli Sci like me, this class will challenge you. My biggest piece of advice is GO TO ETC EVERY WEEK! Jimena (tutor) teaches better than Mark!
I took hybrid class. Online quizes were easy, in class exams were hard (25multiple choice, 1essay question, short answers, lots of reading required to pass these), he offers a lot of extra credit. Tough grader on both assignments and exams. Does offer assignments that really allow you to understand politics. Good teacher.
Let's start off by saying that Mr Trezza is outright hilarious. He knows his stuff and delivers it in a seamless manner that hardly makes it feel like "learning." But be prepared to be swamped with work. Online quizzes, essays, papers, reading assignments outside of class; essay questions on the first three exams and pop quizzes- for 3 units!
Trezza is okay for a polysci prof, OKAY at best. His lectures were actually pretty entertaining, but he's not very clear and his study guides don't help with the test. Just go to ETC, it will make it so much easier. From what I've heard the other polysci professors at Fresno City aren't that much better, so in that way I'd recommend him.
trezza is ok. i went to etc to study for the 1st test. she "helped" us and gave us her version of the right answers for the study guide. for the test, i wrote down what she said during the session and i received a 60% on test. yup thats right. i stopped going and ended up doing better. just useless. also there is homework, extra credit, and essays
Go to class and you'll pass. This class requires some writing experience like Engl 1A at least. To those people complaining how difficult it is, they just didn't study enough. The study guides prepare you exactly for the exams. This class does require more study time than most, but Mr. Trezza is an awesome professor and makes politics less boring.
I honestly had a hard time following his lectures, as they are pretty boring and usually cause me to fall asleep, but the ETC helps A LOT!! Exams are a bit difficult due to the essay portions, but go to ETC, and you will do fine. He also gives 2 writing assignments, which are pretty easy as well, and again, ETC helps a lot. He's a fair professor.
Exams are complicated. Essay questions, short answer response, multiple choice. Lectures are boring and monotone. Makes you pay 100$ for an access code for CONNECT assignments which is just busy work. 2 article review essays and pop quizes. ETC helps but I don't like to waste 50 min outside of class when the teacher should teach better. Passable
You will work your butt off for only 3 credits. If you take this class, you have to do the online homework or you will not pass. ETC is a must!
As long as you constantly refer back to your notes as well as previous things you learned, you should be fine. DO take time to do your essays. He is a tough grader but overall gives really REALLY good feedback. He explains why you missed a point and doesn't just deduct them out of the blue. Funny and insightful, pay attention class examples.
This is not an easy class. ETC is offered for a reason, because there is only a 60% pass rate. That being said, he is very straight forward with his expectations. Gives great feedback on all written assignments/essays. Gives good study guides. Do the online homework & article write-ups, they are easy points. He will call you out for talking/texting
love love loved his class ! Awesome professor brings in a lot of guest speakers to talk to the class about relevant political issues in the community.
He has the kind of class that you dread going into it but then kind of enjoy yourself while you're there. The lectures were more exciting and interactive than other profs and there are pop quizzes but they aren't bad. The class was kind of difficult with, I think, 2 writing assignments, lots of online work, and pretty difficult tests.
Pretty straight forward dude. I thought I would hate the class but I actually ended up really enjoying it. Cracks some pretty funny jokes, gets a little weird lol, but has great stories and is enthusiastic with his lectures. Calls on you to answer a question if he thinks you're not paying attention lol! Good instructor. You get out what you put in
I took him for Polisci2 which was huge mistake! He grades very harshly and doesn't explain the material very well. There are study guides for the exams; however, they are the worst study guides I've ever encountered. I never knew what to study! Lots of assignments and regular pop quizzes. He offers ETC which is helpful for people that can make it.
Great teacher! Read the required material and study. The teacher challenges his student's. I found going to ETC sessions to be very helpful! I enjoyed his lectures. He is very knowledgeable and knows his stuff. The teacher does give extra credit opportunities for student's. I would take him again!! He does give pop quizzes, so pay attention!
I took Trezza during the the Fall of 17' and this guy is pretty much fair game when it comes to grades. You got to work for it and just pay attention to details. My advice is do all your online assignments, study study, try your best to attend ETC for EC or do the EC he provides for people who cant attend ETC. Try not to miss class. POP QUIZZES!
Mr. Trezza is awesome! I found his lectures to be very funny and engaging, which is important because most of the material on the exams comes from lecture. His study guides for the exams are very clear and he gives you the exact essay questions that will be on the test. He offers extra credit, and the workload is moderate. Definitely recommend!
Great professor, but you definitely must earn your grade.
Luckily for me I understood the actual material for this class but BOY is the actual textbook FULL of awful grammar and wording structure. The text itself for this class is so awfully worded thats really what made this class difficult for people. Trezza himself would make us stay AFTER exams to lecture. Why? Everyone worked hard already.
Took the 4 week summer session. Tests are based on lecture so attendance is mandatory. Took 3 pop quizzes, also based on lecture. Fun guest speakers. Extra credit opportunity on every test. Easy A.
Go to class to take notes and for pop quizzes. guest speakers come. more than likely explain on your exams. I suggest recording lectures. written part of exams are clear just make sure you memorize and pre write every option he gives to be safe.
Trezza was an amazing professor though his class is a little hard. The exams are lecture heavy so paying attention is critical in this class. There are pop quizzes but they aren't normally very hard if you even kind of understand the lecture.
I took his hybrid class and only meet in person 4 times. This was a real easy class to take as long as you don't mind keeping up with the chapters. My only complaint is that he can be monotone. He gave us a study exam before each exam so the test were easy. He never gave us his own political opinion which is a nice thing to see.
Trezza was a great professor. You must show up and do the work and you will pass. Not a big fan of politics but I passed
Professor Trezza, in my opinion, was great. Tough Grader for sure but will only improve your skills. Exams and pop quizzes are based on the lecture. Just listen, pay attention, and take good note and you will do fine. Not for the faint of heart if you want a true college experiment. Get all the points you can! Trust me! You will need it!
attend lectures, keep track on making good notes; exams are from notes/Ppt, online assignments are weekly or twice a month, attend Etc; he gives credit for attending ETC. 2 exams, 2 papers, final. Paper are easy source of getting good points. You possibly can do your paper in one day. Study according to study guide. Yes, Extra credit opportunities
Took his hybrid class & it was satisfying. Met 4 times throughout the semester. Rest of the class & assignment were online. Met in class to take the exams and he would lecture. Would recommend.
Polisci2 is not my interest, i was fear to pass this class. But obtained a B. Simple things you need to do are: study according to your study guide; written questions he will give on study guide prepare for them(1-3 ques); attend ETC sessions for both to study and get extra credits ( bailey);easy pop quizzes & extra credit; his papers are easy (2).
DONT take him. He hates answering questions and always wants to be right and makes students feel like theyre stupid with his attitude response. His two, 3 page papers are easy. The exams always have an essay portion. He also does about 5 pop quizzes. His lectures are torture; he is so monotoned. DONT TAKE HIM, YOU'LL REGRET IT, I SURE DO.
I went to class for attendance mostly. All his homework is online, the two papers were not that difficult and gives a clear understanding of what are on the exams. His class is very out the book. The 5-6 pop quizzes come at any time during lecture, beginning, middle or end so you must stay the entire time.
the most boring class ive ever taken. follow the study guide for tests and go to etc for extra credit. he allowed a flashcard for the final so take advanatage of that. he offers A LOT of extra credit too. he gives pop quizzes so make sure to always have a scantron. homework and essays are super easy!!
Great unbiased professor, perfect for this type of class. Rarely offers personal opinions on political matter but attempts to remain factual and neutral. You will have to pay attention and work but he is a straight up kinda guy who expects you to get the grade you worked for.
(hybrid) Tough but fair; the subject will always be heavy, regardless of prof. Trezza is great at lecture, sometimes too much info. Great at explaining and video feedback for some assignments. Tests weren't too tough if you keep up with hw and study the exam review. He's the most like a "4-year uni" prof I've had at FCC.
Idk how I passed but I worked hard for it. 3 exams, 2 papers, lecture heavy, boring, pay attention & take notes. Go to class every day because there are 6 random pop quizzes, offers extra credit, exams are hard (write FRQs before & memorize them!), online homework assignments take forever. You need textbook (expensive!) to study, write, & homework.
Hes a really good instructor. youll need to have a good understanding as to how to write an essay and follow instructions. also READ THE BOOK (and take notes). it will make homework less repetitive. the homework is easy but can be annoying if you dont read. THE CLASS IS ONLY AS DIFFICULT AS YOU MAKE IT.
Professor Trezza is one of the best political science professors available. He is passionate about the subject and brings a lot of energy to the class. He brings in speakers and does a lot of real-world applications of the subject. His grading is very fair, as long as you show that you have an understanding of the topic he will give you points.
I'm not interested in politics and government, I just needed this class. I liked the class, however the lectures could get boring and your mind can start wandering off, if you're not focused. I wish he was more engaging with the class. Other than that, it was an okay class.
Homework 30+ ADAPTIVE questions, cannot finish unless you get the concepts correct. Tests were fairly easy 2 essay Exams and a multiple choice final. I only took this class because I had to. Lectures are very slow, boring, and monotone.
Had to take his political science class which wasn't bad but his lectures are on the slower side and you can get bored. I'd suggest reading the book on top of the notes you take in class because it can be more detailed than his explanations. Kind of a lot of homework, quizzes, discussion boards, one paper, and like three exams.
His test and alot of his assignments are on paper so its not like you can do multiple drafts then change it youre stuck with one and that's it, plus the amount of hw, I couldn't keep up.
Great Professor overall. He is fair in his grading and gives extra credit. He gives lots of reading homework that can take many hours to complete with the online quizzes. Attendance is mandatory and heavy lecture tests. You must do the homework and show up to pass.
This class was one of the most challenging for me. His exams contain multiple-choice questions and short essay responses. He curves each exam and allows you to use a flashcard during the final. Throughout the semester there were about 3-4 pop quizzes, one paper, multiple online assignments, one lengthy discussion board, and lots of extra credit.
He is very knowledgeable and is very funny. Is able to make class topics into something relatable to keep students interested. He does however have a tendency to speak at a low volume so it can be hard to catch important things.
Trezza is great! He gives good feedback on writing and test scores. His lectures are entertaining. Just take good notes and ask questions!
Mr trezza kinda reminds me of Hazel Bergeron.
Dianne moon glampers would tremble in fear if she took this class.
Trezza is an organized and passionate professor. He shares great material and presentations and provides solid feedback. Class is challenging. However, overall, it is a great class. I would recommend. That said, I would be greatly wary of not studying for tests since they greatly challenging AND heavily weighed.
good professor boring subject. lots of reading and some online hw which is alr. a paper and a discussion board and some extra credit too. 3 tests and 3 exams make up most the grade. you do alr on them if you study but it takes forever cause theres so many concepts. pretty funny guy who likes what he teaches but still boring for me.
Professor Trezza makes lectures engaging despite the dense subject matter. Textbook and homework are essential, but using resources like Unstuck study can help with study prep.
Professor Trezza loved attendance and made it a big deal missing pop quiz required a doctor's note which felt very high school-like. His lectures were lively, but the random jump scares made me lowkey scared to even use my laptop. He's chill and offered extra credit, but there was so much writing. The whole class felt like a metaphor for society
DONT TAKE HIS CLASS. Very tough grader his exams expect 2 essays with excessive detail and understanding for a decent grade. If your not interested in plsci, I recommend another professor as his lectures are difficult to understand as he doesn't “teach” he reads off slides and goes off about irrelevant topics.
He seems like a great guy, all of his test are written test no multiple choice test, no notes or anything. All classes will be him reading a powerpoint. You will not interact with any other students for homework projects.
His voice might put you to sleep sometimes, but Trezza really grew on me throughout the semester. He's a nice guy and cares a lot about what he's teaching. The weekly assignments aren't too bad but studying for the tests is mandatory. If you take him in-person don't be afraid to talk, my class was always so quiet lol
Professor Trezza is a nice and caring teacher, but it was a difficult class. Lectures can be complex, but he does try to explain things in different ways, for example, sports terms. The quizzes and exams are tough, but if you prepare the day before you can do extremely well, especially since he provides the exam questions a week prior.
