If you want an easy A and writing credit, take this class. U will deffinately pass the class if u read the material. GREAT TEST CURVES! U have to write 2 papers for the class based on a current event, but it's all ur opinion (even wrtng cdt). Teacher is super nice and funny!

Scan the reading, and the tests are easy. Papers are graded by fulfillment of criteria as opposed to level of excellency. Easy class, and interesting enough. The text is also very straightforward and easy to understand, which is very helpful in a behavioral science class.

Overall the course is excellent even though there were more students than expected. He is a wonderful professor who actually devotes time to his students when asked. I found this whole experience (course and professor) intellectually stimulating. Helps that he is funny too.

I liked this class, it was very interesting and he is a good teacher. Very easy class. At the end of the semester, he has you bring in a cultural food related to your heritage, that you cook, for your final grade. Pretty nice:)

Disappointed that the hurricanes interrupted the classes; however, I marvel on just how unique Tromans is. He has made an impact in my life and will always know how much I appreciate him. Truly a wonder professor/person. He will always endear in my heart. Added note: funny, not old, and way hot--triple threat.

He basically talks about something, and then others will start voicing their opinions and the next thing you know, you're having a class discussion about transvestives, or lesbians in 3rd world countries. This is the easiest I've ever taken. NO MID-TERM....NO HOMEWORK....NO FINAL....and he is way to HOT....His classes are really cool and he is an excellent person !!!!

Awesome Teacher! Class is easy if you study the word list. Will answer any question you have, just stop him while he is talking. Curves grades, but do not rely on the curve! Excellent teacher! He loves his subject, he's funny, and will work with you if you don't understand something. He's traveled around and gives his experiences as examples. This teacher KNOWS what he's talking about. I would have loved to go on the Mexico trip with him, but it was too short notice. Short answer: TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!!!!

If you fail this class you are a serious momo. He gives study sheets, curves tests, drops lowest grade and really knows his stuff. You do have to study but you can't fail. Love him!

Definitely would recommend him. He's funny and the class is easy. He knows what he's talking about. There's quizzes but their easy because he curves them. There's a 7 page paper due at the end of the class and you have to present a powerpoint on the paper. But overall I enjoyed the class.

He's a great professor and good guy. Just do the readings, show up for class, do your paper and presentation and you'll pass with a good grade. No test for the final! What's more, he makes the subject fun for non-majors and majors, and is so smart. Not too bad on the eyes either. ;)

Tromans is a great professor, but I and another student were very disappointed when he didn't give ANY feedback on our final projects. I know for a fact that we both requested feedback and provided e-mail addresses. Extremely disappointing.

I would recommend him to everybody. He's a very nice guy and super hot! he makes class very pleasant and fun, you'll pass with an A if you pay attention to his stories :)

Mark Tromans is easily the best professor at BC. He is funny, smart and his personality is so great it makes him pretty hot. ;) Whether or not you were originally interested in his class subject, you will be interested by the end. Just had Tromans for Intro to Archaeology. AWESOME!!!!! Easy A. He works in the field...not just someone paid to teach a class. Most of the studying you gotta do on your own from the text. Tests are directly from the text. 3 tests, 2 papers and a 10 minute presentation. And he's funny as hell too. Great prof

He is one of the professors you'd love to sit down and listen to. he never makes anthropology boring, it is super interesting after getting to understand anthropology for the very first time. take lots of notes, there are 4 exams, 4 pop quizzes, and 2 essays. you must study and attend class ALWAYS!

Prof Tromans is a great professor. His quizzes come from his notes AND the textbook. Make sure to read the textbook, because his notes can be unlcear. There are only 5 quizzes, but one 7 page paper due at the end & a powerpoint on it.

It has been a while since I've been in Professor Tromans' class but he is the reason I decided to change my major to Anthropology. Absolutely amazing professor who loves the topic and loves teaching it. You have to work but you will do well if you try.

Awesome professor! took him for ANT2211, knows the material and keeps class interesting. You must read the books! we used the clicker questions (like a pop quiz at the beginning of every class) which are all based on the books. Mark Tromans is one of the best professors I've ever had. He was super cool about everything, made all the lectures interesting and open for discussion and made sure we learned the important details. his multiple choice tests are hilarious. I had no interest on anthropology but I'm changing my major after his class

Very fun and interesting class honors, professor Tromans makes this subject easy to understand. We never use the book, only take what little notes he gives out. Definitely knows what he is talking about, he has so many cool stories about things he has done in his career. Sure, he goes off topic a bit but everyone is comfortable asking questions.

I came into ANT2000 to fulfill my need for a class with writing credit and end up learning interesting info and enjoying the spent with all of Prof. Tromans informative and sometimes comical lectures. His class is often a breeze if you participate and review notes from his lectures.

Seriously his class is so easy. No homework all you have is one project. You do mini quizzes on the reading with clickers in class and they are pretty easy too. He is so nice and makes the class very interesting. Loved him! and your final is a feast everyone brings food=)

This was a pretty good professor for a social science class. He really did his best to compress a whole lot of information into main concepts and definitions that were easy to understand. Attending his lectures is important because he lectures information that's on the test. It could get boring sometimes, but overall his lectures were pretty good.

Don't get me wrong, he's a very nice man and tries his best to help you and give you everything you need to pass. It's all up to you to pass or fail really, but the man is VERY boring. Dry sense of humor and very talkative and monotone. 4 tests and like 8 quizzes and 2 papers. All of which are easy if you stay awake and try to listen lol

Honesty I thought this class was going to be boring. Surprisingly it was really interesting and I learnt a lot. Professor Tromans is friendly and makes the material fascinating. If you study your notes the class should be easy.

The guy is great. I learned a lot. If you didn't pass, you didn't listen or take notes. Just read the summary of the chapter in the book, write down and listen (bc he's also snarky) to everything he says. Tests WILL be like your notes. This is a college course so YES you have to work hard. This class isn't for half-asser's.

Really chill and really cool professor. He doesn't give too much work, and he tries to keep his lectures interesting. As long as you keep up with your assignments, then you will be fine. Coming to lectures and paying attention is really all that you need to do in order to pass your quizzes/tests. I took him over the Summer, so the work was fair.

Mark is one of those professors shows up to teach and gos home. He gives pop quizes so study often test are kinda hard but use CP and you good. Gives some extra credit which balances it out. he trys to make alot of jokes. homework is on 7 old videos

Took him for Sociology. You're golden if you show up, write some notes, pay attention and do all of your (fairly easy) online assignments. He's a little sarcastic, but I liked his humor. The only way you could fail this class is if you literally don't do any assignments. Attendance isn't even a huge priority.. I highly recommend. :-)

THE BEST PROFFESOR at BC Central Campus. I absolutely LOVED HIM. I had him for Anthropology and Sociology and he made it so much fun!! He always made jokes on class and he has such good sense of humor. His tests are very fair, they are based on his lectures, and you will definitely get an A or a B if you go to class

professor tromans was pretty cool. he's a fair grader and he's easy to reach outside of class if you need him. he lectures through powerpoints which anyone can do, but he makes it somewhat interesting so you can learn and not fall asleep in class. sure, you could probably never show up to class and pass with a C, but he makes it easy to get an A.

I really enjoyed his class. The assignments were able to be done without the textbook, and the quizzes online & the 3 in class quizzes mirrored what is on the powerpoints. he goes more in depth during lectures about whats on the powerpoint, so paying attention during lectures is important!

I just finished my session 2 class with him HE'S AMAZING. Quizzes and assignments are online and quite easy. I didn't buy the textbook for the class and I did quite alright. He's caring and very passionate about Sociology. You'll love this class. Take it as a session 2 or 4; less course work. Oh and he doesn't take attendance. But still show up!

Great great professor. Had him for SYG2000 also, he cares about all of his students education and future. He helps you as much as he possibly can. The reason I have a C is because of my own fault. He's so funny and his lectures are in depth , as soon as class starts he get's straight to the point. He gives realistic examples so you can have a better picture. He is always on time

Great professor, although he just reads off the PowerPoint slides. Did his best to keep class entertaining by telling small stories or jokes that related to the subject at hand. During the CoVID-19 pandemic, we were sent home and unfortunately, Tromans was overloaded with graded papers and grades took a while. All we did were at-home quizzes. 9/10.

Exceptionally kind man. You can tell he cares for his students and treats his students fair and with respect. Has popped a few jokes here and there which made class more entertaining. The only thing you have to worry about are the quizzes that he gives, you can't miss class and you must study for them. The quizzes aren't hard as long as you study.

Great Professor, dedicated his PowerPoint with Narration to keep students learning during pandemic. He gives extra credits, do a total of 5 writing papers to help you replace your lowest exam scores. Prof Troman is an extremely fun professor and love to have fun with his students during lecture. You need to have a knack for his kind of humor. If you're there for thee grade and not interactive you wont enjoy the class. But if you are interested in the class you'll love to have him as your professor.
