He repeats himself a lot, but it helps to ingrain it. He makes math so simple and he teaches us relevant math, not stuff we'd never use.

I had him in 1992 for elementary and intermediate algebra. I was in Soledad CF at the time. I had not touched algebra since,until this summer. Because of his teaching methods, I retained, after all these years enough to complete college algebra and Trig.

This is the easiest math I have ever taken in my life!! If you're trying to get math out of the way and aren't planning an majoring in the field I hightly reccomend him. EASY A!!!!!!

If you are taking this class to "actually learn" a lot about Algebra, forget it. If on the other hand you are taking this class to get pre rec or gen ed filled--take it!!! Weber is a VERY good guy for those who don't know math, but way too slow for those who do or what to know a lot more

easiest teacher ever. i literally could have gone to about 5 classes the whole semester and gotten an A. I only went about once a week and he gives you the tests beforehand. All you have to do is switch numbers on the "practice tests" because he lets you use them during the tests. TAKE WEBER

Repetitive or not this guy is the best; talk about patience and genuine interest in the student succeding. AWESOME! Oh and by the way if you are paying attention and using half your brain you will laugh at all his subtle but hilarious jokes!

Trust me--I had never enjoyed maths before.

I took Mr. Weber for all my math at Hartnell. You can't find another better math teacher! It's endearing how he gets chalk all over the place. He repeats himself a lot so you retain it. Even though I didn't understand what I was doing on my last two tests, I still got As because of what he taught me. I dunno about the other student, but I liked his voice. And yes, you may want to scream, but he will let you leave class early if you have to pick up kids or something. I think he's absolutely wonderful.

this guy is AMAZING! iv had him for three math courses all different! he is soooo funny. i love how he cares about making sure students understand what hes teaching his jokes and gangster analogys are my favorite!

Has a great sense of humor, adds jokes to the way he describes mathematics that even amuse me. Exams consist of a only midterm and a final and are open note, but it's still good to be prepared. Overall, I didn't think I was ever going to pass Intermediate Algebra till I met this guy, but I still had to work for my grade.

One of the best math teachers at Hartnell. I took him from pre-algebra to Statistics. Anyone can learn and pass his class. He's 20 minutes to 1/2 hour late to class so count on it and plan on staying later than expected. Your grade consists of equally weighted exams. Weber is such a great instructor. Before I took math, I hated the subject and had terrible math anxiety. However his class really eased the symptoms and made math enjoyable. Took Statistics fall semester and Professor Weber is great with explaining until you understand work & calculator. Do the homework for practice, be there for his lectures to ask questions & take notes then you'll definitely pass. Tests are open note & open book so take good notes. His textbook is cheap and he provides options for stat calculator.

Weber is the best teacher on campus, in any subject! He is the ONLY teacher in my life who has been able to explain math so I understand it! If the first explanation doesn't work, he will keep trying until he finds one that does.

Professor Weber is straightforward with his lectures. He makes sure everyone is following along and doesnt mind having to explain the material if students get lost. The exams come in sections and he doesnt force you to take them if youre not ready to.. Extra credit is available at all times which is great overall.

I took professor Weber for 123 & 13 courses. He makes math much easier to understand because he teaches it his own style. The 3 tests are open notes that is why attending class and taking notes is important. The textbook is very helpful it gives you the exact examples of the tests. For Math 12 Numbers and Systems, very clear grading, I put test heavy because your grade is only made up from THREE tests during whatever semester you're taking it. Teacher is funny, sympathetic, and straightforward.

This was a hybrid class; all lectures and resources were available online. Grades were made up of 2-3 tests and the final. He offered extra credit, and he gave students a few days to submit exams online. Some of his in-person lectures would be a bit repetitive, so it got boring. Very chill professor and was not a class that I stressed over.

Everyone says Weber is the best Math teacher at Hartnell, and they're right! My whole family have taken classes from him, and this was my 2nd class. This class was face-to-face, but Weber has video versions of all his lectures online with links on Canvas (which also has PDFs of all materials). He buys calculators you can borrow. Best teacher ever!

Weber will explain things over and over until every single person understands. He makes it very difficult for you to fail. The stories he uses for the math are so creative and definitely keeps people engaged. Easiest class I've taken so far.

100% should be your first option Mr. Weber is the best professor everrr. Coming from someone who sucks at math it's literally impossible to fail his class he posts all his lectures on YouTube and you take the exams on your own time + no actual homework!

I was advised by friends and relatives to take Weber because he's the “Math God.” I am glad I did. I've never been good at math, but his videos in this online class made everything so easy to understand. You can text him questions on his cell phone. Superb instructor! The best!

Attendance is not mandatory, he uploads on canvas videos of the exact in class lecture. leave no homework but i suggest to do extra work to get a good grade. He is not a hard grader as long as he see's work and that you are headed the right way, he gives some points. Three major exams, midterm 1-1-2& final all able to take home and work on. recommd

I wish all teachers were like Weber. He does everything to help students. He adds everyone who asks to join his class although it makes a lot more work for him. You can text him anytime on his cell phone with questions. His videos explain everything so well, and he'll work with you if you need to submit work late due to illness. He is an angel!

Weber was great. For MAT12: number systems, the material was easy and everything he taught did appear on the exams. No homework, extra credit, etc. -- just 3 exams that make up your entire grade. If you're not going to class, watch the videos, and you'll be fine. Exams aligned with what he taught, so there's no reason to fail either, easy A.
