Probably most laid-back teacher on campus. Classes are informal, lectures are never boring, & assignments are deceptively easy. Despite the lazy atmosphere, lazy students who don't put in effort will not do well. Little note-taking req'd & no book to buy.

Textbook is mandatory for this class - you need it for midterm & final. Only 1 speech required-the rest is take-home tests. This class is harder than Speech 1 (took him for Spch 1) because he wasn't clear on final exam requirements. Fun class at night after working all day! Probably the easiest speech class at PCC. Speeches are 5 minutes max. If you get offended easily, don't take his class. He's hilarious. I legit cried from laughter on one of the stories he told. No homework, but we had give out one speech. He was a picky grader. His midterm was a takehome. Sometimes he can be grumpy, sarcastic, or funny. Easy class to pass if you follow his directions and guidelines. Hates when people interrupt the class leaving when someone is giving a speech.

TAKE HIM. hes literally the best professor i have ever had. It is true however, if you get offended or embarrassed easily then you shouldn't take him. He's HILARIOUS. A very enjoyable class for me. Super easy speeches and he lets you out early everyday! when given the diretions for all speeches FOLLOW THEM. thats all he cares about.

I was LITERALLY in the process of screening on RMP for the semester when I remembered I FORGOT TO RATE THIS AMAZING PROFESSOR! I took him at LACC during Fall17 and it was an amazing class. He's kind of a jerk and blunt and he doesn't sugarcoat anything but he's great at what he does! Just pay attention to directions! Do EXACTLY as he says!

Very easy time with his online class, got a A without breaking much of a sweat. Professors that use softchalk lessons are the best. Only got a B once in the whole class, so just know how to format your writing and stick to the topic. When he comments it's snarky, don't let it get to you. Grades fast, and clear scale. Discussions due Thur, not Sat.

His class is easy. He doesn't give too much homework or project. He uses softchalk to teach and all you have to do is just to complete your homework on time and pay attention to what he assigns.

If you have a working brain, you are guaranteed an A; you have to try exceptionally hard to get a B or below. However, do not take lightly of assignments and discussions. Thoroughly complete your work and provide critical thinking. It is obvious, but not many of my classmates have common sense, so do not be like some of my classmates.

Looking for a free class so you can focus on your major and other gen eds? This. Is. It. 1 speech every week or two, just do all of the assignments, try your best, and you'll get an A. Like the other review said, " you have to try exceptionally hard to get a B or below."

Solid choice for online speech class. Follow the directions and turn assignments in on time and you will get an A. I also learned a lot through the weekly readings in the text book. Took this class in summer (6 weeks) and very manageable. I spent 2-3 hours a week on it. Other reviews said he was rude, I didn't catch that vibe at all.

This was a pretty laid back easy class. It is pretty straight forward and easy to navigate. Any questions were answered and every two weeks, there is a new chapter to do., pretty manageable.

I took this class as one of my general education requirements. Just put in the effort, read the textbook for the sections that the homework and assignments are on and you should do fine.

Pretty much everything you read here is correct. Easiest class I've ever taken at PCC so far. Just follow the assignment instructions and complete them on time. Gives short feedback but it helps to listen to his feedback and improve. Take it online and it's a breeze!

Make sure to make eye contact with the camera if you are taking his online course! I got marked down points for lack of eye contact a lot! One other complaint I have is how hard it was to contact Mark. He never replied to my email, but he did fix the assignment I emailed him about a few days later. Good professor overall! His class is a easy pass!

Few discussions, do the recorded speeches which u post on yt, attach link in canvas to turn in. theres a midterm and final but thats ez since u just read tb or read the slides. responds to emails fast. he grades near the end of the deadline. but i can literally finish his entire class in 3 days if all modules werent locked by wk. uses pt system

I took this course as an online course, and the professor is very lenient with the grading but I didn't try in any of my speeches and read off a doc resulting in a mid-A. He's not too accessible outside of class as some of my emails took a week to reach him and for him to reply. Besides that, if you try you could pass this easily.

very lenient teacher, super easy to pass the class if you get the work done. one speech a week and a reflection afterwards. read this slides and textbook (can be found online) and youre basically good to go.
