The most interesting math professor I've ever had, he made College Algebra almost fun--a great accomplishment!

Caring and knowledgable teacher, I had him for both Calculus and College Algebra. He's very helpful, do all the HW sheets he gives you, and practicle problems in textbook. You have to make an effort to get an A.

Mark Wilson is the biggest asset to SJRCC. As a student who had math "phobia", Mark Wilson took care of it. This man knows his stuff, very approachable, and will help in any way he can. SJRCC, as well as other institutions in Florida, do NOT have a better math teacher! Awesome!

I failed math in high schools I hade "D" the whole time. With Mr. Wilson I got an "A" for the first time in my life. It wasn't even that hard to study for. He makes it easy. If your not a math person this class is designed for you to do well. Which is odd because thats not usual.

GREAT teacher who is SO willing to help his students. He's very enthusiastic about his subject and will entertain you with his...well...enthusiastic antics! Do your homework and take notes in class. If you're having trouble, just ask and he'll help you. He's AWESOME.

Mr. Wilson is a nice down to earth guy and I really like him. As a teacher he was not clear. He throws curve balls at you on tests that was not in the study material. He bases his tests on all the hard questions that everyone has questions on, he just changes it slightly. Not a good calc teacher for me. I took it with another teacher got an A.

He never leaves his office & is always there to help his students (even the ones who have gone on to Universities come back for his help)! All teachers should be as wonderful as Mr. Wilson!! Taking his calculus and I have an A. Tests are extremely hard, but he explains things so I understand them the first time. Also probably one of the most easily accesible professors on campus. He is willing to help you until you understand. Pretty funny too. I have taken all math teachers, and nothing against them but he is the best.

He was always available and willing to stay on a topic for as long as it takes but you have to speak up. He won't assume you need help unless you say so.

Great professor, teaches very clearly and effectively. He's a bit goofy, but in an awesome way. He didn't use the book in class very much and tests are simple and straight-forward. When when he walked into the room on the first day I kept expecting to hear cheesy erotica music following him around. Anyway, he's very helpful and encourages tutors.

If you are going to take college algebra wilson is a very dedicated teacher. He breaks things down in a manner to which even the worst math student can understand. He uses mathxl for homework grades which is an exccellent way for students to keep a good grade

Mr. Wilson is AWESOME!!! I have taken his College Algebra class and currently in his Calculus class. I was out of school for almost 20 years so I was terrified when I returned and had to go straight into College Algebra. He reassured me that I would be ok. When I had questions he helped me and I got an A. He is definately the Prof to take.

I took Metcalf for college algebra and it was SOOO easy but I don't think I learned anything. Mr. Wilson is hard but you can't help but respect him and love him as a teacher, he is The Best if you are serious about LEARNING. YOU CAN NOT SLACK OFF AT ALL. He is extremely nice and very helpful. Professor Wilson is awesome. He is fun to listen to, which is a hard task to accomplish when teaching math. He goes through everything step-by-step, and will go over it again if you need him to. He practically lives at the school so if you need help, he'll most likely be there and ready to help. Fair grader, and tests on exactly what he's taught.

Material can be hard but once you get to the test you master it, he gives you plenty of examples. Very knowledgeable.

He tries to prepare you for university level, without trying to kill you! Test are not timed. Minimal homework. Do your practice problems, take notes, pay attention, and it'll be easy!

I've never been good at math until I took Mr. Wilson's class! He does a great job at explaining everything you need to know for his tests. Practice is a must (just like any other math class) but I will definitely be taking him again next semester. He's a very knowledgable, talented, and hilarious professor. Easily my favorite teacher up-to-date.

Great professor. genuinely cares if your having problems and is available all the time for help. One hour classes made for fast paced lectures (not his fault). He doesn't assign to much graded homework but, that doesn't mean there isn't any to do. Suggested "practice problems" come with every section. DYPP!!!

Mr. Wilson is my favorite math teacher at SJRSC. I have always had trouble with math, but his lectures are easy to understand and productive. I hate being in lecture and not being able to take anything in. You won't have that problem in his class! As he says, "DYPP!" (do your practice problems) and you should be fine.

This is the best math professor at the college. Try to take him if your not so good at math. He is a great teacher and will go over anything you need. He's very understand and hilarious. The "easiness" rating is the math subject itself, but he makes the class super fun and understandable. No curve balls on the tests. He lays it out for you.

I have taken 2 classes with Mr. Wilson and he has been amazing! He gives you clear instructions on what he expects you to do. You will pass as long as you go to class, do the Math XL homework and pay attention (which is easy because he is funny) He makes math not so terrible!!

I am pretty bad at math but he taught in a way that was really clear for me to understand. He gives clear instructions on what he needs from you and its pretty routine. He's pretty flexible and understanding which is nice and he's also pretty goofy, haha. My advice would be just to study, do the homework, and the reviews and you're golden.

He is so great! fantastic humor and really breaks down math with you, and helps a lot during office hours. Uses Math Xl for basically all hw, and quizzes. Which isn't terrible but I don't personally like math xl quizzes. Tests are about every week and a half 2 weeks. There are 4 of them, not bad 20 questions each. Do the hw, it saves your grade

He is well organized, you know what is expected of you, gives partial credit, light homework, follows syllabus, & keeps you engaged. Must show up for class so you don't get behind. Tests are important, but Mr. Wilson is an expert at getting you prepared. Very talented with the subject matter, made interesting and taught clearly.

Wilson is amazing! I had to retake this class because I bombed it in Metcalf's class but after taking Wilson I have received A's. He is so funny, very intellectual, and is willing to help out. You will need to study for his test but he doesn't grade hard and he gives credit for showing your work. It's an easy A, please take him!

I took precalc with Mr. Wilson after not taking college algebra in 4 years. Needless to say it was rather tough to relearn algebra and keep up with precalc. However, Mr. Wilson made it enjoyable, you can tell he really loves math and really cares about his students. His tests were tough for me but Mr. Wilson always gave students extra time!

Mr. Wilson is hands down the best math teacher I have ever had. His tests can be fairly difficult but they are manageable as long as you study. Extremely sociable and funny. He makes an effort to show lots of practice problems in class and teaches in a captivating way. Homework assignments are given once a week. Overall 10/10

I had taken calc at a previous university and failed, I came in not knowing anything at all because my previous intro to calc professor passed everyone even though we technically failed. Mr. Wilson was AMAZING! I got an A in the course, he takes the time to explain everything to you no matter how many times it takes! Tests are exactly like the HW.

Mr. Wilson has been the best professor Ive had while at SJR. I enjoyed the way he structured his notes and handouts, which were easy to understand and navigate. For a person like me who isnt particularly strong in math, his classes were the right amount of challenging without being overwhelming. His humor also made the class fun and engaging.

I have always struggled in math, and typically barely scrape by with a passing grade. However, Mr. Wilson is funny, involved, and an overall great professor. His lectures are helpful as he will go in depth to make sure you understand the concept, and its importance in real life application. Best prof ever!

Mr. Wilson is great! Math is not my strongest subject. Mr. Wilson made sure everyone understood before he moved to the next section. All his reviews have worked out answers attached. He is always available for help, with an open door policy. Review exam 10%, 4 test (drops lowest test grade) and final exam 25%. He cares about you passing.

He genuinely cares for EVERY student and is always open to help you if you are struggling. He is very approachable which can be a rare quality when it comes to professors. His class is not necessarily easy but if you pay attention and work hard then you will not have a problem. Professor Wilson is the best of the best!

Professor Wilson is AMAZING! Took him for calc 1 and calc 2 and made an A in both.... people complaining are just mad because its calculus... put in the work and youll be fine. Metcalf is also amazing... but so is Wilson. SJRS has great math professors. I will very happily be taking Wilson for calc 3 and ordinary diff equations (calc 4)

The homework really helps with the test as they cover the material that will be on the test. Professor Wilson is a great professor that I will take again.

I took Professor Wilson for MAC2233 and another math class, and he is the best math teacher I've ever had! He gives you all the material to succeed in the class and he is very clear and straightforward. You have to practice A LOT! pls take advantage of the tutoring center; they are super friendly and will walk you through each problem!

He really is great at his job and I enjoyed my time in his class. It is homework heavy, so make sure you stay on top of that. Another teacher that I wish I could have for my next class!

Professor Wilson is a wonderful math professor. Easily accessible outside class. Explains everything in breast detail and provides plenty of examples to understand topics. Textbook only for additional practice problems. Provides guided notes for lectures, with study guides for every test. I would recommend Professor Wilson for Cala classes.

Professor Wilson will take the time to make sure everyone understands the concepts. He understands that for a lot of people this class is the building block for the rest of our collegiate math courses and wants to make sure you have a strong foundation.

Every Math class I've been in requires an absurd amount of homework & that is my only complaint. He is the only professor that I feel takes his time making sure you understand, even if extra time in class is needed. He is a wonderful instructor and I've taken many math classes with none of them ending happily. 10/10

I took survey of calc with him and he is a great teacher! He explains things very clearly and provides very helpful classwork and assignments to help you out for the exam. He also provides a study guide for his exams which are very helpful.

Hes a great teacher, though don't kiss a class because he doesn't go over topics again unless a student asks him a question about a question on the homework.
