He gives no partial credit either you get the whole question right or none at all and he is so incredibly mean he is not receptive to questions and he could honestly care less about you doing well in the genetics course OR the lab. Cannot emphasize enough how much to stay away from this terrible TERRIBLE person. Take genetics in the spring.

This man could care less about if you pass something that isn't even relevant to your major. I attend every lecture and try so hard, but to be honest, if you don't have access to a test bank, you are screwed. He doesn't want to be there, he doesn't care about you, and honestly seems like he hates everything in general. Take astrology. Save yourself

this man does not care if you pass this class or not. test questions are worth a lot, so if you don't understand bio (which most people who take this class do not), then you can basically kiss an A goodbye. the only people who genuinely do well in this class are the people who somehow got the answers before hand- really screws the rest of us over.

Easy class because tests are same across semesters. Without that you're probably screwed. No point in attending lecture really because he posts all the slides online but easy A. Lab is super easy too. He's kind of a strange dude and a boring lecturer.

Do not take this class unless you have access to a test bank for this class. It is hard to do well without it. The professor is incredibly dry and it is hard to stay focused. He also doesn't care about his students

Half of your grade in lab is based on 4 quizzes. It's not hard to do well but it's frustrating if you mess up a quiz. The professor also just yells at kids for the smallest things. Beware

Dr. Woelfle is an interesting personality. He comes across as quite stoic and even passive aggressive which can honestly be a stressful thing to experience although I don't think that he actually means. So if you keep this in mind you should be fine. It's worth it to be patient with him and try to understand his meaning.

The tests are very difficult and relatively few questions. He seems harsh and doesn't tolerate nonsense.

This class was NOT baby bio. There are three exams and all covered a ton of content. Class lecture is not mandatory but exams are harder if you dont go. The textbook is 100 dollars but you need it to complete homework assignments. The lectures are monotone and boring.

NEVER TAKE THIS COURSE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR GRADE. Cover tons of materials that are not covered in other sessions. You need to reach 93.5 to get an A. Tests take up 2/3 of your final grade, with an average of 75. No extra credits, no curve, no replacement. The professor is just reading the slides. JUST DON'T TAKE IT.

Dr Woelfle is a great professor, clear lecturer, and his class is very interesting. Attendance is recommended, and he provides study guides for exams. If you are a non-stem major looking to fulfill AXLE, I would recommend this class, especially if you have some prior biology knowledge.

People get mad about this class but even without the test bank this class is manageable. Yes there is a lot of information but overall class is okay, assignments are easy, just focus on the exams. Prof is a nice and funny dude although the vibes are intimidating, but I would take this class again.

Terrible. Claims they curve grade depending on various labs, but will not if you are on the cusp of a grade. He obviously does not care.

Pretty frustrating because everyone just has a test bank and cheats on the exams. Haven't taken bio since freshman yr of hs and it ended up being more challenging than I thought it would be. Lab is basically a free A if you show up and always ends early.
