Professor Zindelo is kindness and empathy personified. I attended his English Composition I class. He breaks the essays down into simple parts and explains everything very well. He offers many extra credit opportunities and tries his best to give you an A. I seriously recommend Professor Zindelo to everyone.

What a great professor. Very lenient, very easy class, and he's super understanding. States that he is there to help you, and he really is. If you do the work, you'll pass. He even warns you about mean professors and what classes to take or to not take! Don't buy the textbook for this class. He'll tell you how to get around it.

Professor Z is awesome!! He listens to you and tries to help you with your needs! He is a grade A teacher. If you have any questions or problems don't be afraid to ask him. He is very outgoing and he may have adhd but I have adhd so I think that's why we get along. I recommend him to anyone that needs to take English classes.

Great professor! Responds to email quickly, gives additional time if you contact him to explain your situation, and will let you re-do or add-to a project if you it does not meet the criteria he is looking for. He gives you plenty of work for it being an online class, but gives you a lot of time to get it all completed. Highly recommend his class

Zindelo is a laid-back professor. Taking his English comp, you will have more time with other class. He almost doesn't make student write something in class to earn GPA. If you are not finished, you can take home. . If you are stuck at homework, just talk with him. At first I didn't know what to what to write, but he inspire me with his lecture.

Best professor at OCCC. I sent an email said that the homework is very hard. The next day he changed a homework into extra credit. He is understanding that students are busy. He even do not give homework during holiday. What an amazing teacher! I wish all of professor in OCCC were like him. He is so dedicated .

Professor Zindelo makes the Writing class so interesting and creative. He may be the only professor who thanks you for asking a question and replies your email with a smiling emotion. He helps my semester reduce burden. He understands students if they have a test or tight schedule. Other english class is stressful, but his class is not

Now, I haven't had all the professors at OCCC, but I'm going to venture to believe that Markus is the greatest -- great person and teaching. He is really chill about the class, but he also makes sure you understand the material. If nothing else look at his rating on here ... 5.0. He's a must take professor.

Great prof! He doesn't give student grade. He makes students have the grade students want through his lectures. When you ask question, you will never become stupid. Extra credits are a lot. Readily to help students in the office hour. Prof is very good when he finds the reading materials for assignments online for students.

Prof is very good. He makes my fear of writing go away. Afraid of writing just take this class. He makes me so creative and inspirational when writing. . He also helps me with other writing homework of other professors. Just amazing professor! He makes writing in the easy way to understand.

Comp2 is hard but Prof teaches in the easy way to understand. He made exercises to students before going straight the hard essay. Highly recommended his class for any one with 12-credit because he gave enough time for students to complete their assignments.

He looks like a magician and makes you write so that at the end of the semester you haven't realized how long had written. Understanding that students have many class from others so he makes his class less stress. In comp 2, you have to take his class because comp 2 is hard. He warned us about plagiarism. Make sure don't copy, you'll be fine.

Make you love writing more than ever. Just don't ever commit plagiarism. Submit homework on time. Don't ever make him angry because when he's angry, he doesn't show up and you'll feel goosebumps. He'll be happy if you ask question on homework

He is the best Prof in English major I have ever had. If you submit your assignment earlier than the due date: you have extra credit If you have any question, raise your hands and he will answers all your enquiries respectfully and clearly. He also allows you to fix your essay once you have submitted if you want to improve your grade.

Professor Zindelo is not easy. He makes us work hard and earn our grades. We write very long papers and do a lot of essays. We have to write multiple drafts, and he's a hard grader. He's super nice and easy to work with. I am going to take all his classes because he improved my writing skills immensely.

I can't say enough good things about Professor Zindelo. You have every opportunity to get an A. If you can't get a good grade in his class you need to rethink your work habits. He is very supportive and lenient when it comes to the essays. He walks you through each step of what he expects on essays.

I took him for Audio Production and Public relations and he is the most caring professor I have ever had in my life. He wants you to succeed, he wants to help you. For Audio production, the final log is hard but manageable. For PR the final portfolios take a long time but he gives you time to revise them for better grade. AWESOME PERSON!!

Best teacher I have had in college would highly recommend trying to get him as your COMP teacher. I wanted him for both COMP 1/ 2, but when I found out I couldn't make it work I was so disappointed. BEST TEACHER!!!!! Also, he makes it's to where you don't have to buy the textbook, he finds the stories online and sends them so you don't buy a book!

Prof Z was a great professor for Audio production. He explained everything!. He turned me on to radio and podcast production and I got a job because of his teaching. He's really chill about redoing assignments. Says mistakes are how to learn. I wish I could have more classes with him. Really cares about his students.

Easiest professor ever. All you have to do is show up to class and you get credit. The essays are pretty minimal. He also gives extra credit for showing up to "writing" days where all you do is write your essays. On top of easy assignments, he is very caring. I had his 8am class and he made sure everyone had breakfast by bringing snacks and drinks.

Zindelo is a great journalism professor. In three weeks he has me interviewing sources, writing in inverted pyramid style with many sources and covering important events. I even got to go to a murder trial this week. You gotta take him. I'm even going to get published next week never would get to do all this at OU

Zindelo is a great News Writing professor. His class is tough and he made us write about campus, cover a trial a speech and an open meeting. Also made us write for the school paper and get published. He's great cuz he also sat with each of us and helped us learn AP style and how to organize stories. I'm a PR major, but I might change my mind.

Prof Zindelo is the best Prof humanity has ever had. He is understanding, caring, and ready to support you achieve your goals. He is a teacher, a friend and a father. I got a good A because he can teach. Take his class and you won't regret nothing.

I took his mythology course for 8 weeks. He has a list of myths to read and a list of questions that align with those myths. You do need to do 2 discussion posts and 4 replies every week, as well as writing a paper on what you read. That being said, it is still relatively easy to get an A. Simply do the reading, the writing, and the posting.

Funny and caring with a warm personality. He enjoys hearing what we all have to say & he responds with questions. He creates a respectful atmosphere to where we all feel free to speak our minds about all types of topics. He presses us to think outside the box & to dig deeper into our minds/thoughts. I highly respect this man. Very intelligent.

Pof. Z is one of a kind. He really can take you from not knowing how to cover news to getting published in 8 weeks. I now have a job in journalism because of him. He makes you work a lot, but you get to redo your articles and learn from your mistakes.

I enjoyed taking this class. The textbook is online to be able to do the reading assignments. It is also for some of the assignments that tell you to use a specific chapter or pages to be able to complete the assignment. Gives great. feedback on assignments. Tells you what you did great on. and what you could improve on.

Mr. Z was my professor for News Writing. He's fantastic and a very challenging professor, but he's fair. His was my first journalism class, and I learned so much. I had to transfer out of state, but because of him I'm now working for student media at KU. Our adviser here said he taught me better than most juniors from their own program. Take Mr. Z

Been out of school for 15 years, and was terrified of going back. Heard about professor Zindelo from some friends at chuch, and I feel like God's hand put me in his class. He's amazing, caring, understanding, funny, and he's always available. I've never met such a caring professor, and I will take any class he teaches.

He was a really good professor and was always there. I could send him an email at almost any hour and he would reply within an hour. Gave great instructions in his feedback, and by following it, I earned As on all my work. OCCC is lucky he chose them to work at. I am lucky I had such a caring, kind, and available professor. He would also reply fairly quickly to my emails and would always be willing to help me with any questions I had. I can tell he cares about his students and wants you to do well in his class. I was really worried about taking an English class online, but Professor Zindello is really great so far. He's answered at least 11 emails sent over the weekend by me as well as gave me a lot of feedback on all my assignments. Mr. Z is a great teacher for us. We are in high school, and he comes and teaches us and even comes every Friday just to meet us for tutoring. He goes out of his way to make sure we get the information we need for success in college. I was going to go to Langston, but because of him OCCC is where I'll go when I graduate.

He is the best professor I have ever had and really makes you feel comfortable in class, and will record Zoom videos if you cannot make it to class. He makes sure you succeed. He's a breath of fresh air. I never had an English teacher who makes us part of assigning due dates and that knows our names on day 2 of class. He's very clear with his directions and if you take him he'll tell you exactly what to do to get an A on each essay. He's nice and maybe too nice but for a student who's in my 30s, I need his compassion.

Just started his class. Hands down the easiest professor I've ever had to communicate with. I send him an email last night at 11 p.m., and he still answered fully. Professor Z was very kind to us. He gave us a lot of extra credits. Also he looked at our rough draft papers and told us how to fix them so we would get good grades. I had some personal medical problem and he worked with me so much. He rounded up grades at the end so we could get the highest grade. He's great.

Professor Zindelo's class was pretty easy but just be aware to read and write. This class goes over a lot of ancient history but they class is do able and easy to understand

Professor Zindelo is a very kind and understanding professor. He taught my high school concurrent class. He was very understanding knowing we have multiple classes, and understood our possible difficulties dealing with high school classes plus college classes. I also believe he has inspired me greatly making me a more confident writer.

I really appreciate that he breaks things down for us step by step. He's really kind and he lets us redo assignments if we really bomb them. He takes his time and understands that we don't always get things the first time, and he's super chill and funny. His feedback has been great, too.

I've been out of school for 20 years and he was always there for me even in the evenings. There was no time he wouldn't help me understand how to do the assignments and essays. Zindelo is exactly what I needed. Took his class 2 years ago, & his largest push was for us to be focused in our paragraphs. He said we make a promise w/ our reader when we state a point & we have to prove it -- like court. He pushed us to prove our points and not just write to fill space. Great professor and very flexible. I think it was probably much more flexible in-person than online considering we could decide our due dates (within reasonable time, of course). He also gives a lot of feedback, and if you're not happy with a grade, you could resubmit them for a better one.
